the biggest hot takes of all time: TBC is garbage, ashfur coming back years later as the main villain is garbage, ashfur being some big powerful "genius" mastermind is garbage. This! I cannot get past how OP Ashfur is and the fact that he's working alone and became this OP super God.

Another Hot Take: Mapleshade's murder victims were also victims on their own. While they did things that are often considered morally bad, they are just victims of her foolishness too in some aspects.
This includes, Appledusk having his own mate indirectly killing his kits, Reedshine being cheated on too, Frecklewish getting lied to in her own face, Ravenwing needing to choose beetwen a few or a whole Clan, and Oakstar having a respected clanmate mate with the cat that killed his son and lying to the son's sister and the leader's daughter, that those are his kits.

Mudclaw would have made a more interesting leader than Onestar. I want more potentially-antagonist leaders (compared to what we got with Onestar that is).

Let me begin by apologising for any spelling mistakes in this post, I'm sad, it's 4:30 in the morning, and I'm a non-native English speaker. That being said, let's get onto the takes.
I agree with people saying Ashfur was a bad main villain for TBC. I understand wanting to put him in the DF but they did not have to give him this major role all to himself to do that. They could have just made him a hench-man to the real villian. I feel like him being the villain and the imposter especially put too much focus on Squirrelflight. I accept if people disagree, but I think this, but this is what it seems like to me. I do not dislike Squirrelflight, but I think it is time for her to come out of the spotlight and into the StarClan light.
Also, I do not want anymore outsider groups, I enjoy some of them, but I feel like they take away focus that could be on cats inside the clans. And it seems to be a bit pointless to get attached to cats you'll probably never see again.
