*cracks fingers* I'll even give my opinion of how they should die.
Cloudtail and Brightheart
Reason: He's almost ten years old. That's almost as old as Mousefur was when she died, and she was mentioned as being very old. Brightheart is over ten years old, so... Same reason as her mate.
Way: I want Cloudtail to die protecting his mate, an attempt that is made all the more bittersweet when it fails and Brightheart ends up dying anyways.
Mistystar
Reason: She's twelve and a half years old. That's very old for a wild cat. At the very least, she should retire and let Reedwhisker take over.
Way: The Erins said that a leader who is very old can potentially lose all of their remaining lives as a result of old age. I think this would be a satisfying death for Mistystar.
Brackenfur
Reason: Same as Cloudtail and Brightheart.
Way: Something heroic, such as saving a kit's life or fending off invading cats. A quiet warrior like himself deserves a heroic sendoff.
Thornclaw
Reason: Same as Brackenfur
Way: The same way as Thistleclaw, since I feel like it would fit his personality.
Briarlight
Reason: Do I even need to say?
Way: The medicine den gets attacked during an invasion. The warriors try their best to defend Briarlight, and believe they have succeeded. However, after the battle, a seemingly fine Briarlight rolls over to reveal a terrible wound. She bleeds out in front of her mother, who goes crazy as a result.
Millie
Reason: I feel like my desired death for her justifies my wanting her to die.
Way: Following Briarlight's death, Millie goes insane and ends up running straight into a fox den one night, getting killed as a result.
Purdy
Reason: He's served his purpose in the plot. There's really no more need for him; plus he's got to be getting quite old by now.
Way: I just want him to die peacefully in his sleep, perhaps after a night of giving wise advice to someone.
Tawnypelt
Reason: She's getting old, and I feel that she's overstayed her welcome in the series.
Way: She can just pass in her sleep. She's done so many things in her life already that she doesn't really need a heroic death to justify her life.
Onestar
Reason: He's been the leader of WindClan for quite some time; plus, he's noted as aged. I can't imagine he's got more than one or two lives left.
Way: He is killed during some stupid action, such as during an invasion of ThunderClan.
Whitetail
Reason: Why exactly is she still alive? She must be ancient by now.
Way: In her sleep. I see no better way.

Reason: She was a queen in Rising Storm, so she must be very old by now.
Way: I actually want her to die protecting kits or wounded cats.
And that's all I feel like right now.

Leafpool, because her subplot is over, and she serves little to no purpose story-wise. Also, she's a tad old.
Squirrelflight, for reasons listed above. Also, she's a "first deputy", and first deputies never survive long enough to become leader, with the sole exception of Blackstar. If she did become a leader, it would be blatant favoritism on the Erin's part.

Honestly, Rowanstar. He's not that great of a leader and I want Tigerheart to be leader. I actually like him, so it'd be hilarious to see the fan reactions. Plus, Tigerstar.

Jayfeather so the Erins can break status quo of main characters never dying.

Why: He's old, and he's the last surviving member of the original TC apprentices.

Why: I really like her, but she's the (second?) oldest cat in the series.
Briarlight
Why: She probably should have died way before.
Twigpaw/Violetpaw
Why: That would make a very interesting development for AVOS.

All the characters that are 9 years and older should be dead or close to dying. All cats 7 years old should be at least elders. And Briarlight should die because she has had way too much plot armor.

I agree with a lot of these, but part of me really wants to see Lionblaze die...him or Crowfeather, makes me curious about how certain cats will act. And if not them than Leafpool.

I think the Erins have sort of written themselves into a corner. They have only killed off one of the super special hero prophecy Thunderclan cats (Firestar) and he died in a literal blaze of glory, so they sort of have to set up a grand goodbye to all of the super special hero prophecy Thunderclan cats, until we run put of good death ideas.
