In Crowfeather's Trial, a lot of cats blamed Crowfeather for everything. Nightcloud and Onestar both blamed him for his Clanmates not accepting his son, but I always thought this was pretty unfair and wrong because Breezepelt was the one who chose to follow the DF. Even if Crowfeather did neglect his son, it isn't an excuse to do bad things, and I feel like that's how Nightcloud and Onestar treated Crowfeather. Crowfeather ended up getting exiled instead, while Breezepelt got off the hook with no punishment.

I agree.
A lot of the blame was unfairly put onto Crowfeather in CT, which made it feel quite fanservice-y. Breezepelt wrongly believed his father didn’t love him (which he did, by the way) because Nightcloud wouldn’t let him get too close to their son. Honestly, Crowfeather really needed to give his son some scolding and discipline which Nightcloud never really gave. Breezepelt trained with the Dark Forest and truly stood by them for a while before eventually turning back to the side of the Clans and StarClan. He tried to kill Jayfeather and Poppyfrost (who was pregnant at the time), fights on the side of the Dark Forest during the Great Battle, and tried to kill Lionblaze before Crowfeather broke it up. I genuinely believe Crowfeather was just doing the best he could, and the fact that he got some of the blame kinda hurt.
The guy honestly just needs a break. He went through way too much.

I’m pretty biased admittedly because I really disliked Crowfeather most of the time we saw him and how he was a horrendous father, so I personally enjoyed when Onestar told him to get his act together and own up for his crap. I don’t even care if it was hypocritical, Onestar wasn’t wrong in saying that Crowfeather needed to actually be a father for once. Do I think Crowfeather deserved the exile? No, it wasn’t all that fair, but I also can tell that Onestar means business when it comes to cats going behind his back or against his orders, so I’m not surprised that Onestar would exile him for being caught, it makes sense for his character as wrong as exile would seem.
Do I think they were super fair to Crowfeather? Probably not, but they needed the drama and honestly the books are never all that fair to Nightcloud either, so I’m glad Crowfeather finally got a ton of flack for his abysmal parenting. In summary, it probably wasn’t super fair but I honestly don’t really mind it, Crowfeather had it coming for a looong time to be called out properly lol. At least, for me personally. I know fandom thinks he’s just some emotionally stunted tsundere boy but I never enjoy characters like that so I admittedly did feel a bit of vindication seeing him finally get some kind of punishment.

Crowfeather absolutely has his faults but I do think they were hard on him.
I do also think that everyone being hard on him was important to his arc in that book however.

Breezepelt should have gotten more of the blame for his own actions, I agree with that. But Crowfeather was a neglectful father, and I’m glad he faced consequences for it. It doesn’t make what Breezepelt did even remotely okay, but Crow is still responsible for his own bad parenting.

Nope. Crowfeather needed a break back then and he still does to this very day.

Yes and no. Crowfeather needed that calling out to help him realize how much of a jerk and neglectful father he'd been, but as others have said, a lot of the blame for everything that had happened was unfairly put onto him instead of Breezepelt.

Disagree. Onestar's idiotic choices aside, he still made a good point, very hypocritical of him, but a good point. Nightcloud as well, and it wasn't the first time she told him something along those lines before. Back in POT, she chided him for doubting Breezepaw and not having more confidence in him, and it doesn't help how he treated Breezepaw on the mountain trip as well. His neglect obviously had an effect on his son and made it all the more easier to for him to be manipulated by the Dark Forest. Cats that specifically went after a troubled youth and taking advantage of them, like Ivypool, Blossomfall and Breezepelt, etc.
Not to mention, the dude agreed with the idea that his son was better off dead. Which is gross. Breezepelt may have made his own choices in the end, but it doesn't change that Crowfeather played a major part in how he grew up and shaped as an adult. I also don't think Crowfeather got enough blame, because it's pretty obvious that a good chunk of his clan still blamed and hated Breezepelt for his choices, some even accusing him of killing his own mother.

The blame was not fair. Breezepelt and Nightcloud were painted as innocent victims Crowfeather used, and that's obviously not true.

Yes and no. Crowfeather had done morally messed up things and he had to take responsability. But Breezepelt and Nightcloud had to take responsability to their actions, especially since they have to blame too. It had to be adressed how Breezepelt tried to kill Poppyfrost, Jayfeather and Crowfeather in battle, how Nightcloud clawed Crowfeather's back in jealousy, or how she used him for kits and her helicopter parenting, wich also played a part in Breezepelt's life. I'm not denying that Crowfeather was a neglectful father, or that he didin't use her too. But the book unfairly blamed him for literally everything, when the others made mistakes too.

This is precisely how I feel as well! CT did what I feared it would, and it's great that Crowfeather is being held accountable and that Breezepelt was condemned for aiding the Dark Forest, but besides trying to kill Lionblaze and mocking Hollyleaf's death, it never really delved deeper into that. Yeah, he still isn't fully forgiven, but is that really enough? We see in OotS that he clearly doesn't care what happens so long as he gets what he wants and he doesn't regret a thing in DS, but then we get to CT, which takes place not long after DS, and he already feels like a completely different cat even though there was no transition between the two. It would've been better if he was still smug and arrogant over Onestar not exiling him until Nightcloud's disappearance gave him a reality check.

Crowfeather is one of my favourite characters, and I do feel like there is a lot of unfair bias against him. He went through a lot of tough things in his life, and shouldn’t be blamed for others’ actions. He is an extremely dedicated WindClan cat, and the way he was treated by many of his Clanmates in Crowfeather’s Trial was uncalled for.
