If there's a relationship problem, it usually lasts a very long time and it becomes frustrating to read.
For example, Lionblaze and Heathertail both held a grudge for a long time against each other at least up until after Omen of the Stars. Heathertail was angry at Lionblaze back in Po3, and Lionblaze had weird thoughts and blamed Heathertail for a lot of things in Omen of the Stars.
Crowfeather and Nightcloud is another one. For some reason, both cats stayed together, and for obvious reasons, their actions have affected Breezepelt and he turned to the Dark Forest. These two didn't resolve their problems up until they found out Breezepelt was training in the Dark Forest and his clan hated him for it, and they finally mended their relationship for the sake of their son.
Dovewing and Ivypool. Ivy and Dove both argue about Tiger and have been since Omen of the Stars. Dove tried to move on from Tiger, and then their relationship was brought back up again once ShadowClan moved into ThunderClan. Dove left TC for Tiger, and the two sisters didn't mend their relationship together until after Ivy had kits, and they stopped arguing after Dove officially became a part of ShadowClan.
I can't think of others ATM, but these were the most obvious ones at the top of my head. I know it's probably just for filler, but why can't most of these cats just talk to each other? I really wish the writers would have more cats recognize how someone's actions affects another person, and talk about the situation before it becomes a problem. Most of these issues aren't figured out until it's too late.
It's extremely frustrating, and a lot of these problems in the books can EASILY be solved by sitting down, talking to each other, letting them vent, and solve the problem. I don't think we see this happen very often in the series.

Drama. This isn't even a problem in this series, and it's just as annoying when other media does it. Also, the only time Lionblaze blamed her for anything in OotS was over Hollyleaf's supposed death and even then, this only happened once and was very brief.

Because literally no one in these books knows how to communicate. Siblings, romance, friends... What is communication? Why talk about the problem when I can stew over it until I explode?

no communication = more cheap drama to drag things out for a longer book.

Some drama needs proper conclusions(Night/Crow/Leaf), but then you have ones that understandably won't go away(Heather/Lion), and lastly ones that should have stayed buried.(Hollyleaf, and Dove/Tiger)

Because they have no idea to sit down calmly and talk. "Hello, Dovewing." "Pleasure, Ivypool. What brings us here today?" "Your relationship with Tigerheart." "Ah yes. But I love him." "Still, it is against the code." "The code!"

One word: Drama. Even if it's overdone, drama sells. A perfect example of why each series should contain 3 books of slightly greater length if needed (but only an extra 20 pages or so) rather than the bloated six we currently have. Or even cut the romance out of the subseries altogether for the most part and slot them in random novellas for relationship drama fans to devour at their leisure.
