I honestly really regret liking Tigerheartstar. I only liked him when I was younger because of his name, but now I hate him.
I regret hating Jayfeather. I thought he was too grumpy, until I saw the It's Alright AU MAP, then I started to like him.

Needletail is a big one. I really enjoyed her character at first, while she was on the journey to the gorge. But that drastically changed when she did. I thought she would be a refreshing new main character, and all I got was disappointment.
Tigerheartstar. At first he was so lovable. I loved his personality and thought he was really fun to read. Then his romance drama with Dovewing soured it. And of course he just got progressively worse as a character.
Rowanclawstar. I absolutely hated him for the longest time. It wasn't until his sacrifice near the end of AVOS that I actually found myself sympathizing and liking him.
Leafstar. I hated her for a long time too. I found her to be a weak and pathetic leader, who let cats walk all over her and her Clan. When HJ and AVOS was released, my respect for her went up immensely. I find her to be one of the strongest characters in the series, and an amazing leader.

I regret disliking Daisy. I thought she was going to be weak, whiny, and selfish, but when she returned to ThunderClan after running away (after the badger attack) I began to like her more and then it went uphill.
Cloudtail is another one. Although cute as a kit and apprentice, he was annoying and disrespectful and that made me borderline dislike him, but now he's one of my favorite characters.
I regret being neutral on Palebird. At first, I found her interesting with her depression and felt sorry for her, but she took things too far after barely noticing Talltail came back and saved one of her kits.

I regret loving Tigerheart when I was younger. I loved him when I was younger, his playful, carefree behavior. But a lot of debating made me realize he's so weird around Dovewing, it almost gives me the creeps. He's just really manipulative and he's angry whenever she's not together with him, and he's always the first one to disappoint Dovewing. He couldn't even something as simple as telling Ivypool the truth back in Tigerheart's Shadow, when she asked where Dovewing was going. Shouldn't you put her safety first before her promise? And Tigerheart couldn't even do that.. the guy is so freaking sketchy.
I regret loving Bumblestripe. He's even more creepy. He constantly asks for kits from Dovewing, and she made it clear she told him no. I really don't give a rat's ass if people say she didn't communicate with him properly or not, it should've been clear enough that Dovewing doesn't love him when they haven't been together for years. Bumblestripe is very inappropriate around her, and the times he asks for kits just makes me uncomfortable. She doesn't love you, bro. Move on already. Don't ask for someone's babies years after they've broken up. And for some reason people JUSTIFY this shit??? A woman is allowed to say no, but people act like it's the worst crime ever because she hurt lil' Bumblestripe's feelings. Boo freaking hoo.
I regret loving Ivypool. When I was younger, she also used to be my favorite character. In fact, she was close to Hollyleaf as my 2nd favorite. But now that I'm older... I realized she just acts like a bitch. She constantly insults Dovepaw, and her fans like to blame Dovepaw for EVERYTHING. People don't acknowledge this character's faults, excusing her by saying "she grew out of them" while still blaming Dovepaw for her own when she was younger. It's not fair, and it genuinely pisses me off. Then people blame Dovewing for "dragging Ivypool into the DovexTiger drama" and act like Ivypool is this wonderful, generous, amazing sister for keeping the secret, but she's really not doing Dovewing any favors by keeping it. Even if Ivypool told the truth, Dovewing would continue to see Tigerheart no matter what. I doubt it would have changed anything except make her clan suspicious on her. She constantly acted like a **** by telling her to go be with Bumblestripe and her fans act like this is the right thing to do because Tigerheart is a douche. Yes, he is, but telling your sister to be with someone you don't love anymore isn't right, no matter how you look at it. Ivypool is immature and annoying, and I hope she doesn't become deputy. I don't wanna see her fighting with Tigerstar. Ivypool isn't right about everything but her fans like to say she is because Dovewing makes stupid choices. These debates have permanently soured my opinion on Ivypool and I'll probably never love her again. She's on dislike at best for me. Rereading her character also made me realize she isn't really that great either. I don't understand the big deal about Ivypool.
I regret loving Mapleshade. She used to be one of my favorite villain in the entire series, I think she was probably right next to Ivypool as my 3rd favorite, but then the novella ruined her completely for me. Her fans also excuse her for everything she does, and I don't think they understand how cruel Mapleshade acted about the father. I know she was exiled, and I'm not saying she deserved it, but I've seen fans complain about cats not being honest about things for years, but when Ravenwing threatens to tell the truth, Mapleshade suddenly gets a free pass for it? What? It's hypocritical, and frustrating when I see people mad at Ravenwing for this. Mapleshade's foolish thinking put her own kits in danger and they crossed the river, drowning them. She doesn't think twice and she didn't have a second plan like Leafpool did when she had kits. Mapleshade could have easily just said they were rogue kits, giving birth elsewhere and they would have been fine. Ravenwing only found out the truth by watching them swim outside of camp, which Mapleshade wasn't even supposed to do in the first place either. She has the nerve to beg a medicine cat to fix her mistakes for her by keeping the secret, and he has every right to tell her no. Nobody wants to fix her crap after lying and breaking the warrior code. And it's not even the code I'm upset about her breaking - I'm pissed she thought using everyone's grief over Birchface was okay and she thought she'd be easily forgiven. I honestly despise Mapleshade for what she did. Her delusional thinking put herself and her own kits in danger.

I regret hating Bramblestar (then Brambleclaw). I know this may be controversial but I hated him for the sole reason that he was Tigerstar's son but also because he became the main character in TNP and I didn't like the POV change.
It's actually quite ironic, because I arguably like Bramblestar during the time that I should be hating him. But, for me, I like how flawed of a character he is whilst also being 'Good'. I like how he's made out to be great but also clearly shows some flaws. A lot of people do not like his character, but I like how he BELIEVES himself to be doing good when others can see he isn't. That sort of mindset is interesting to me.

I regret loving Mapleshade back in the day. I was young when I liked her. I found her cool and blamed her situation on the cats around her, instead of Mapleshade herself who is mostly at fault.
I regret hating Dovewing when I was younger. I used to think she was whiny and selfish. But now that I’m older, I’ve grown to like her and see a lot of myself in her. I am even starting to like her more than Ivypool, who was one of my favorites at the time.
To go along with Dovewing, I regret hating Tigerheartstar. I hated him mostly due to his personality and hated him and Dovewing together. But he’s been starting to grow on me during TBC. He is a great father to Shadowsight for the most part (with few exceptions). And he has been somewhat reasonable in TBC.

I regret liking Onestar and Tigerstar II because they both have proven themselves to be unbearable foxhearts.
I'm still regretting ever disliking either Daisy or Squirrelflight as they just remind me of myself and are true queens.

I regret liking Dovewing at first, she was an utter disappointment and a waste of POV down the line.
And regret liking Squirrelflight, at first I liked her spunky personality, but now it's annoying and she hasn't matured.
I regret disliking Nightcloud, I've come to appreciate and even love her character nowadays.
I regret disliking Leafstar, always thought she was basically female Firestar, and boring, but I was very very wrong.

I really regret hating Leafpool so much when I was younger. Like, the level of spite I had back then for this one character was almost ridiculous.
Now I find myself liking her more and more as time goes on.

Cats I regret liking: Mapleshade - She was such a great character in CP her story was also great but I started disliking her when she started appearing in random books that don't need her.
Dovewing - I was so happy that she was starting to grow and find her own path without tom drama to distract her but once I heard she got pregnant by Tigerheartstar r.i.p my like for her.
Squrrielflight - I know it's not her fault for being in the spotlight again but I'm sick and tired of her and her drama.

I have a confession. I actually used to like Mapleshade.
I was like, 9, or 8 at the time! I can't believe myself.
I will fight for the crown of the biggest Maplehater on this forum!

I used to be neutral about Leafstar, and from what I've heard, she is disliked by people for the way she acted in SkyClan's Destiny. But my respect for her grew a LOT over AVoS and TBC, and Squirrelflight's Hope. I still see a lot of people who dislike her, but tbh she's a respectable character in the newer books. Easily one of my favorites.

Cloudtail. At first when he arrived in thunderclan, I thought he was going to be somewhat like fireheart. But he was actually a spoiled brat. Really hated his charicter.
