How do you like them as characters, and as a couple? They're both rather bland, but I remember liking them when first reading TNP. They both seemed nice. I didn't think StormBrook was a Stockholm Syndrome thing. Maybe because I didn't know what that thing was back then, but still. It seems pretty healthy now, and what we see in the occasional visits of the Tribe, Stormfur and Brook are happy with their children.

I like them and their relationship, especially at the beginning half of PoT, where Lionpaw is close to Stormfur and Hollypaw confesses to Brook about changing from medicine-cat-to-warrior.

They are both alright I suppose. Although them being tribe cats sadly makes their story seem rather boring to me.

Makes me annoyed when people say their relationship is Stockholm Syndrome. It's not and it's not that deep.

They had really good chemistry. They have mutual respect for eachother, and endure everything together. They have such good and healthy relationship.
I also don't get the Stockholm Syndrome theory at all. Didin't he have feelings for her before he was captured? And also, Brook was always uncomfortable at keeping him prisioner, even apagolizing once or twice about it.
On their own, i'm neutral on Stormfur, and i like Brook. I always thought she was a bit of a cardboard, but she was represented as morally gray, but still nice, open and friendly.

I like them and I love how loyal Brook is to him. As for whether the relationship is Stockholm Syndrome or not, here are the symptoms: 1) Positive feelings by the prisoner toward the captor.
2) Negative feelings by the prisoner toward his or her family, friends or authorities attempting any rescue.
3) Support for the captor's reasons and behaviors.
4) Positive feelings on the end of the captor toward the victim.
5) Support from the victim to help the captor.
6) Inability by the victim to execute behaviors that can lead to release or detachment from the captor.
In order for Stockholm Syndrome to occur, there must be at least three of the following traits:
1) There must be a sorely uneven balance of power in which the captor must dictate what the captive can and cannot do.
2) There must be the threat of death or physical injury to the captive from the captor.
3) There must be a self-preservation instinct within the prisoner.
4) The prisoner believes (perhaps falsely) that he or she cannot escape.
5) Survival is dependent upon following the rules of the captor.
6) The prisoner must be isolated from others who are not being held captive.
Fun fact, Stockholm Syndrome isn't even recognized as a psychiatric disorder, so do with that what you will.

I also don't get the Stockholm Syndrome theory at all. Didin't he have feelings for her before he was captured? And also, Brook was always uncomfortable at keeping him prisioner, even apagolizing once or twice about it. I already posted the symptoms and requirements, but yeah, Stormfur was clearly already attracted to Brook and liked the rest of the Tribe even before he was taken hostage, which didn't even last that long. The others even rescue him the same day they're forced to leave him behind.

Like. Stormfur and Brook are both sorts of bland but they have a healthy and happy relationship together from what we've seen of them.
