Do you think he should've told Firestar and/or Squirrelflight about his training with Tigerstar and Hawkfrost?

Yes, especially when they make a big deal about Squirrelflight and Leafpool keeping a secret. I’m pretty sure training with your evil father after saying you don’t want anything to do with him and being in Dark Forest is a big deal (looks at DF trainees who been looked down upon ever since final battle). I understand why everyone was upset with Squirrel/Leaf, but kind of hypocritical when you kept this secret whole life without telling anyone close to you.

Yes, because it could have served as a possible future warning and communication is important in a relationship. However, I understand why he didn't. He was probably trying to put the past behind him (especially after Hawkfrost's death) and saying that you've been training with your evil father wouldn't look good.

Telling the truth wouldn't have changed anything. Squirrelflight has always distrusted him and if he told the truth it would've made things worse for him and his reputation. Besides, he certainly wasn't the last cat to join the Dark Forest, anyways. Squirrelflight doesn't respect any of the trainees, so imagine how things would've turned out if Bramblestar said he trained in the Dark Forest once. And I'm not sure how Firestar would react - he probably would've made Bramblestar lose his deputy status, but I feel like he'd be dealt with fairly. So no, I don't think he should have told anyone. It wouldn't have solved anything, honestly.

And for those who are mad at Bramblestar not being honest about the training - remember, other characters like Lionblaze, Ivypool, Birchfall, Blossomfall, and several other cats weren't honest about it at first either. And yet I don't see anyone calling these cats out for it. Bramblestar had every right to be angry with Squirrelflight for lying to him every single day about the three. Squirrelflight and Bramblestar both lied to each other multiple times in their lives. None of them are innocent.

It would have been the right thing to do morally, sure, but Bramblestar had pretty valid reasons not to. Honestly, I think that it's the better thing he stayed quiet about it because telling the truth would have not really changed anything at all.

I mean, if he's going to get mad at Squirrel for keeping secrets... The fact that he was training with his dad and brother in cat hell, despite knowing EXACTLY what kind of cat Tigerstar was...

Definitely. He knew what kind of cat Tigerstar was, and he already rejected him. Now a few years later it's Tawnypelt rejecting their father and him "Oh hey Dad oh hey Hawkfrost. Let's train!"

Although it would not have reflected well on him in the eyes of ThunderClan (and StarClan), I still think Brambleclaw should have told Squirrelflight and also Firestar about training with his obviously evil father Tigerstar in the Dark Forest. Proper communication/honesty is important in any sort of relationship as keeping secrets only ends up hurting more when they eventually get revealed.
I'm actually surprised that the whole fox trap situation didn't make Firestar at all suspicious of something worse going on than just Hawkfrost showing up to kill him on his own, seemingly out of nowhere. He was usually rather perceptive/even paranoid of murderous plots (against himself and other cats as well).

Yeah, he should. He should have been honest and owned up to his actions after the fox trap incident. The fact that he gets mad at Squirrelflight for keeping a secret, when he also did the same, is hypocrital. And this time he isin't protecting someone like Squirrelflight did with Leafpool, he's plotting to kill her father and leader. That's something else entirely.
