Ever since he was a kit, do you think he's a well written character? I really liked him back when we first got to know him, but now everything feels different, and I'm not sure how to feel about him anymore. I feel like his character is always inconsistent.

He seems to be a good character who wants nothing to do with his treacherous father, but in TNP it's like nothing from the last arc happened, and now he sucks.

I still adore Bramblestar as a character but the authors/editors seem to still not really have a plan on what exactly they want to do with him/which direction to take regarding his storylines. It's sad that he is now only known as an abuser in the Fandom rather than his (probably planned) arc of overcoming his father's evil legacy and rising above against expectations to become leader of ThunderClan. This is why some topics should not have a place in literature originally aimed at Children/Teens.

Imo I think he was well written. For TNP I know he's kind of out of character but imo he probably felt like being able to train with Hawkfrost and Tigerstar was a way he was able to have/feel a family bond since he didn't really have any family members besides Goldenflower and probably missed having a sibling bond.

When he was a kit he was fine, but he started getting annoying after his childhood, and then toxic in Squirrelflight's super edition.
