Duskclan
timberstar stood in front of his starry ancestors in confused silence, eyes flicking between each of the three cats before him. hollystar stood in the middle, head held high and emerald eyes glinting. "thank you for traveling to meet with us, timberstar," she greeted him, dipping her head to show respect for the current leader of her clan. timberstar returned the gesture, eyes wide in amazement as he stared at the once-great leader. his eyes held questions. hollystar's head jerked to the side.
duskclan's previous medicine cat, pebblestream, lifted her head. she was much less timid in death, her wise, old eyes reflecting the many moons she had served her clan before her last breath was stolen. "i fear duskclan is in grave danger," her voice was barely a whisper and yet it held such power that timberstar felt his legs start to tremble. he barely had a moment to blink before pebblestream was in his face, hollystar and the other cat forgotten. "the clan will fall when a dark cat overthrows the king of lions."

Plot Line
quiet a few moons ago, timberstar received a message from starclan. he was told that duskclan would fall to a 'dark cat'. whoever chooses to play said dark cat can interpret what that means, whether they have a dark pelt or dark eyes, dark in their name, or something of the sorts. of course, the cat is also dark personality wise. this news was kept hidden from the clan except for highly trusted members of duskclan. three leaders later and the clan has been under the leadership of none other than lionstar, meaning the prophecy is in motion.

History
duskclan was created by three cats: gale, abbie, and myria. all three of them were former descendants of a long forgotten clan, and each of them received a message one night that it was their destiny to rebuild the clan idea. they left their homes and traveled for three days and three nights until they reached the place they were intended to build their home. they reached this place at a time called dusk, where the name for their new clan originated.
gale: the first leader of duskclan. a former rogue, he led the small group to their new home. the ancestor of the former great leader, he was destined to be leader of the new clan. he was a fair and just leader.
abbie: the first deputy of duskclan. a former kittypet, she always dreamed of being wild and free. she always kept gale on his toes, constantly coming up with wild ideas. she was the on to inform newcomers of the new clan and insist they join. she died before she got the chance to become leader.
myria: the first medicine cat of duskclan. a former loner, she was pregnant during the journey to her new home, and she gave birth to the first ever litter of the first generation of clan cats in duskclan. it was her her decided to honor their ancestors with the naming rituals. she became gale's lover, though she was punished by here ancestors for behind with him. she was the first of the original three to pass away.
hurricanstar: the first generation of clan cats, he was the son of myria. the fifth leader of duskclan, hurricanstar made a mess of the clan. he allowed rogues onto duskclan territory without a fight which caused prey to become scarce for the clan. his mistakes lasted three leaders after him until hollystar.
hollystar: one of duskclan's greated leaders, she led the clan through starvation, a drought, a disease, and even a war with a rogue group. through it all, she led her clan to victory. sadly, hollystar lost her last life at the paws of blackcough.
pebblestream: a former medicine cat of duskclan, she was one of the longest living medicine cats. she carried the clan through many bouts of disease. she was an apprentice when hollystar passed away and by time timberstar was born, she was a seasoned medicine cat. she lived until the middle of timberstar's leadership.

adder marsh - as the name suggests, the marsh is full of adders. only senior warriors are allowed into the marsh to hunt the dangerous predators. apprentices and young warriors are forbidden to go near the marsh. young warriors are trained by senior warriors to hunt adders when one feels they are ready.
lizard rocks - the rocks are often used as sunning rocks for elders and queens. it is also a small hunting place for lizards. often used as hunting practice for new apprentices. in recent moons, the rocks are fought over by one of the neighboring clans.
mouse meadow - one of the main hunting grounds for duskclan. the only entrance to the meadow is by walking over the fallen oak tree over pine river.
pine hill - a more underused part of the territory. as the name suggests, the area is full of hills and pines. it is often used as a secondary hunting ground for birds and squirrels. it is mostly used for tree climbing practice for apprentices.
pine forest - another hunting ground for duskclan. often filled with small birds and rodents. it is the home of the burnt pine.
deer meadow - deer are not often prey to the clan of duskclan. they are graceful and gentle creatures that are only hunted every few moons. inside the meadow is the queen and kit tree, a safe lounging place for queens and their kits. a play place for kittens. two guards are always on duty during the day and they escort the queens back to camp during dusk.
hazel forest - a much more dense forest when compared to the pine forest.
frog lake - a hunting place for frogs. only the base of the lake is allowed to be near. more north is where the twoleg place is located. it is forbidden for any cat to go farther than the base.
the cave - every half moon, the medicine cats from duskclan and the surrounding clans meet at the cave, in the center of the cave is a pool of water, which will reflect the moon's appearance at moonhigh.

entrances - there are a total of three entrances in duskclan; the west, east, and south entrances. during the night, two warriors will guard each of the entrances.
high ledge - where the high ranking members of the clan will gather and speak about future decisions.
storyteller's stone - apprentices, kits,, and even some warriors will gather near the storyteller's stone to listen to the stories of the elders.
tall rock - where the leader will make announcements.
leader's ledge - where the leader and their mate will often sit and watch the clan, or simply rest. when on the ledge, the leader is not to be bother. it is their peaceful place to themselves.
rest stone - a stone where warriors, apprentices, and queens can... rest.
claw stone - this is a stone where cats go to sharpen their claws. the surface of the stone is scored with generations of claw marks.
dens - the nursery and elder's dens are located near the east entrance. the east entrance exits out towards the mountains, away from neighboring clans. they are located here so that if an attack on duskclan were to ever happen, they will be the first ones escorted out of the camp. the leader's den is located near the south entrance, opposite of the medicine cat's den. the warrior and apprentice dens are located near the west entrance, where attackers are more likely to enter through.
