Did you ship it?
I know there's a bit of an age gap between them but their both adults so I don't really care.
I think they would understand and be able to relate to each other really well. They were both kinda abandoned by their mates(not entirely Stonemover or Palm's fault of course tho) and they both never really had a family(or good family).
I also don't like the Sunny x Smolder ship and would really prefer Smolder as a father figure to Sunny since well he's old enough to be her grandad, he likes her mom, and he already has a well developed relationship with her.
All in all I think Thorn and Smolder were really cute and I also think Smolder x Sunny is one of the weirdest ships that people in this fandom have shipped because Smolder has a perfect love interest right there in Thorn who is not a child and he has good romantic chemistry with.
