Introduction:
Welcome one and all to the Half Moon Pack. We are a pack that accepts all long as they follow the rules and do their part. Just make sure you stay away from those humans and try not to cause any trouble. The pack has been around for many years and we plan to continue for many more.
Territory and Camp:
The Half Moon Pack's territory is located in a valley that open up to a tall grassy plain. East of this is a dense forest made up of many different types of trees. There is a river running through the valley that starts from the mountain and goes all the way to a lake near the forest. North of the valley is a large mountain that stretches far into the sky. The pack has called this the Snowy Peaks.
Camp is a series of different caves that link together. Certain parts lead to underground tunnels and others go all the way up into the mountain. The pack stays in the main system where there are a series of den on either side for each rank.
Prey: Deer, elk, squirrels, rabbits, fish, bison, bighorn sheep, racoons and livestock
Predators: Bears, Mountain Lions, rival wolf packs/lone wolves, humans and occasionally snakes.
Other Locations:
The Open Sky Ranch: The Open Sky Ranch is located somewhere in the plains. This is where humans raise their livestock such as cows, sheep, horses, chickens ect. The pack usually avoids this place considering the ranch has tight security in the form of guard dogs, traps, and donkeys. If the pack is starving, they will lead raiding parties to get the livestock animals.
Half Moon Pond: At the top of one of the mountainous cliffs is a pond in the shape of the half moon. This is where the healers and alphas commune with their ancestors. Twice a month, once during a half moon and during a full moon, the pack will gather here to pray, howl and feast underneath the moon. This is a tradition that goes back many generations.
Blue Lake Campground: Near a section of the lake, there is a open area where humans like to campout. During the summer, the humans are everywhere. The alphas advises the pack to stay away but the younger wolves like to see how close they could get or see if there is any food to steal.
