☀️ After the gentle encouragement of the cats around her Pinestripe found the determination to go on. She couldn’t stop trying for the last one. It took all of Pinestripe’s strenght and willpower to push out the last kit, a healthy gray tom. The first time she’d given birth hadn’t been nearly as physically hard as it had been this time. The stress and exhaustion of the situation probably had something to do with that. She felt drained. But it was finally over now. However, the queen was still tense and unable to relax. “Are they okay?” She asked, her green gaze frantically searching for the tiny bundles.

They checked over the kits carefully. It seemed that all of them were fine at first glance, but they didn’t want to say anything prematurely. Finally Ravenwing nodded “They are fine, perfectly healthy kits. We will of course keep an eye on them, but you needn’t worry.” The tension finally seemed to snap and relax amongst the group. The medicine cat moved the kits closely to their mother and then pushed some herbs towards the Queen “Eat these at your own pace.”

☀️ A sigh of relief escaped from Pinestripe's mouth. Her muscles visibly relaxed a little. Slowly she lapped up the herbs Ravenwing had offered her. Everything wasn't done yet, they'd still have to reach Moonclan camp. She hoped she could find the energy to finish the last part of the trip. She longed for a soft nest to cuddle up to their newborn kits and hopefully Ripplecatcher too.. Her warm gaze fell onto the three squirming kits who had been taken care of by the cats around her. They were why she had done what she had done. Why she left Sunclan. It was already worth the trouble, how would she have done this without Ravenwing and Woodflower? And she'd already felt more supported by Briarstar than she ever did with Emberstar.

🌙 Wolfmist nodded, trusting Wavestep would take the right steps from here. She pawed the fish she had picked from the pile, her hazel gaze thoughtful as she drew her nails over the slimy creature to rid it of it's scales. "Hmmm. They better be back before we have to look for them." She grumbled. She didn't want to run after her apprentice. Flashpaw wasn't a little kit anymore. Hopefully they did have a solid reason for being out so long.

☀️ Tigerpaw tried her best to keep a straight face as they walked back into Sunclan camp. She was glad that Amberpaw had kept to her side, she would've felt very vulnerable without him. Meadowsweet had been kind enough to help them out if they were to be questioned by someone. It was a lot to take in. Now they'd have to go to sleep with a big secret weighing on their shoulders. Sooner or later cats would surely notice her mother's absence. What would happen then? Would they come questioning Amberpaw and her? Or would clanmembers go over to Moonclan to confront them? It made her chest tighten anxiously. Tigerpaw nodded at Amberpaw and mustered up a small grin. "Yeah me too. I'm exhausted." Which was actually the truth - but not because they trained. Physically she was fine, mentally she felt drained after today.

Woodflower looked around at all the cats surrounding Pinestripe. There seemed to be enough to carry both the kits and help the queen back to camp. Turning to Ravenwing she suggested a way back. "How about we start heading back to camp. Briarstar, you and.. sorry I didn't catch your name." she gestured towards Ripplecatcher. "Anyways, you can each carry a kit and support Pinestripe, and I can run back and start setting up the medicine den for a queen." It was a bit strange ordering her mentor and leader around, but she was a full medicine cat now. She had the right to take control of the situation.

"We need to assure that any bleeding has stopped and that she has enough energy to move." Ravenwing suggested. Giving birth was no easy process, and especially in a situation like this. As much as the queen was sure to want to get back to camp, they didn't want to risk tearing anything "Give her a moment to make sure the herbs are taking affect."

When Brightpaw and the others made their way back she waved her tail in greeting "Let's start taking stuff back!" she suggested, wanting to be the first back into camp "We might have to take several trips anyways." she plucked up a few items from the pile, carrying as much as she could before she turned on her paw and started back towards the camp.

Moonclan
Flashpaw carried her trinkets and prey along side Brightpaw. Hopefully their plan would work and the clan would get cheered up from all this. She especially hoped that Wolfmist liked what she found for her. As they walked her ears pulled back, she hadn't actually thought much of her mentor today except for what to get her. Had she worried her mentor for being gone? She shook out her fur a bit, maye Wolfmist enjoyed a day of not being pestered for training?

Ravenwing watched the queen move with a careful eye. When asked a question they said "There is nothing we can do for her other than to let her rest and recover. Once we return to camp we can give her some more herbs, but they would be useless to give her out here." they nodded to the queen "Take your time, don't push yourself too hard. We will take care of the kits, focus on getting yourself back."

The finally made it back to camp, and Pinkpaw strode in with her head held high. She carefully maneuvered the items she was carrying onto the ground in an open area of the center clearing. Pinkpaw wondered if the others would notice them having returned, or if they'd need to put down all their items before their efforts were noticed.

Morningleap | with apprentice squad

"Well well, what do we have here?" the warrior stood and stretched, approaching the apprentices. His eyes slowly scanned over the items, and he actually looked impressed "What's the occasion?" he meowed, looking over the group. Morningleap padded around the pile, getting a good look at what every apprentice had hauled in. His movement and questions were probably enough to draw more attention towards the small group. Pinkpaw looked, well, she looked tickled pink. Very happy with the attention.

Moonclan
Flashpaw placed her stuff with the rest of the apprentices. She glanced around the camp to see who was all around, as it would also help her to know what gifts to give out when they start doing that. She licked at her fur a bit, to try get some of the leaves and sticks out from hunting. Her and Brightpaw had managed to bring back a good amount of prey between the two of them.

Emberstar rose to his paws, stretching in the sand, before shaking his fur out a bit. He looked to the deputy, Willowsong. "Let's head back, it is getting late, he said to her. The tom turned and began to make his way for the camp, pausing to make sure the other cat was following after him. He wouldn't admit it to her, but it did feel nice to get out of the camp for a change, let alone get out of his den.
