Iciclepelt padded into the nursery, and he saw Mottlekit tossing and turning. "Hey, Mottlekit." Mottle~W/ Iciclepelt Mottlekit drowsily opened his eyes. "Hi Iciclepelt. You know, I was a big help today." The kit shifted next to the older tom, tucking his paws underneath him. he saw Icicleplet giving him a warm smile. |

Stormpaw sat down. He was tired from training. The wind ruffled his fur. This storm is good for us. Stormpaw didn't believe in all of the non-sense about StarClan bring help to the Clan when they needed it most. "Hey Iciclepelt! Do you want to check the border if it's ok with Heatherstar?" Stormpaw asked. Stormpaw looked up into the sky. The dark clouds were moving a little fast. I hope that when the storm hits, it doesn't hit very bad. Stormpaw thought.

Turning his head around, he called back into the nursery, "Hey Mottlekit! me and Stormpaw are going to help repair the dens. You can come watch if you want!"

“More protected? How come?” Heatherstar
narrowed her eyes at her deputy, holding her
tail high. She wouldnt- what if she does-
don’t think that way! She’s your deputy!
Maybe she came to protect me! She knows
I’m on my last life. Yeah, most likely here
to protect. She calmed and sat down,
unknowingly.
Riverwish
As he went to gather moss, he stayed
close to camp, not wanting to get stuck
in the storm. He looked around, locking
his gaze on some moss. He ran over and
grabbed it up quickly, gazing around a
bit for more. Most of the hunting patrol
is back, so where’s Heatherstar and the
others? The thought came to mind, but
quickly whirled out of his memory. What
was I doing? ... Oh yea, moss! He spotted
some more moss, and collected it.
Applehollow
Watching all the apprentices do their duties,
she quietly chuckled to herself. She didn’t
notice most of the hunting patrol arrive
back in camp, nor did she notice Heatherstar
wasn’t with them. She twitched her whiskers,
hearing faint thundering in the distance.
Oh, dear, those clouds look pretty big- and
pretty dark. And that’s when it hit her. “Hey,
Sunstone, how many cats went on patrol
again? Sorry, Swiftbird and Heatherstar
aren’t here, are they?”
Creekpaw and Birchpaw
As they too, were getting moss, they saw
Riverwish. Deciding not to bother the tom,
they padded in the opposite direction.
Quickly scooping up a pretty decent amount
of moss. “Hey Birchie, race ya,” Creekpaw
mewed, not giving Birchpaw a chance to process
what he had just said. “Hey! You can’t-
wait up!” He mewed, carrying about all of the
moss they collected, carefully yet quickly running
towards Creekpaw.

Darkriver-near freshkill pile- Open
Darkriver noticed the storm coming in and scented the air again. This time a rabbit caught her attention. She hunted it down but stepped on a stick snd spooked it away. In her rush to get back to where she buried the vole she tripped and found a mouse hole. She stuck her paw in and grabbed a mouse out. Then another ran out of the hole. She pounced on it and carried jer two mice by their tails back to where she had placed the vole. With all her prey she headed back into camp and glanced around for someone to talk to.

Mottlekit glanced around, looking up at stormpaw and then down at his paws again. Pricking his ears, he saw Darkriver heading into camp. "Heyyy Darkriver!" He yelled obnoxiously. "We're waiting for Iciclepelt to come back!"

Darkriver looked up as Mottlekit came up to her saying hello. "Hello Mottlekit. I haven't seen him. But I'm sure he's coming back soon." She spoke encouragingly to the kit without baby talking to him. "Are you guys working on the dens?" She asked looking around at the cats around her. She sat down with a sigh and brought her tail around her paws.

This forest was comfortable to him because he knew it from the largest boulder to the smallest creek. He’d been away for quite some moons, looking for adventure and a new goal in his life. Something to live for, to commit to. Ironically he’d found it right where he started, right in this forest with the group of rogues. He was honored to have been chosen as their leader but it had been hard to return. To be reminded of what he had and what he left behind, he was unsure whether Nettleflower would ever want to see him again. The rustling sound of a mouse in the undergrowth caught his attention and snapped his attention back to reality.

She purred at the kit and made it clear she was proud herself of the kit. She laid her tail gently on the kit's shoulder.
