Flamepelt - camp

Flamepelt's ears pricked at the leader's call. He looked up as she spoke. "Well, might as well make myself useful." The ginger tom murmured under his breath as he padded towards Heatherstar.

Honeyfall noticed Siltpaw and nodded in greeting to her apprentice. "Ah, there you are Siltpaw. Come on, I need you to tell me which herbs we're low on." She meowed as she stalked back into the medicine den, flicking her tail for her apprentice to follow her.

Dewpaw yawned again as he watched Siltpaw race over to her mentor. He looked at the prey pile, which was pretty low. He looked around to see if he could spot his mentor anywhere.

So can Beeberry be Dew's mentor?))

Honeyfall nodded. "A little bit. Now, I want you to sort through our herbs and tell me which ones are low." She meowed as she sat down to watch her apprentice. She wrapped her tail around her paws and blinked warmly at her apprentice.

Darksplash nodded at Iciclepelt's words. He looked back to Hatherstar to see if she was going to lead the patrol out yet. he gave a small sigh and let his gaze wander around the camp.

Silt
"Uhh.. let's group up with the hunting patrol. There's already a lot of cats there." Siltpaw craned her neck out of the den seeing the throng of cats. She flicked her tail happily, grinning at Honeyfall. Siltpaw dashed outside, where her clanmates were getting ready to go. "We might have to climb for the oak leaves!" She giggled.

> Sunstone greeted Iciclepelt and Flamepelt with a dip of his head. He wondered if they needed more cats to join in, their patrol was already packed with eager warriors.

> Since Heatherstar was busy assembling the patrol Crowstrike made his way over to Stormflower. “Goodmorning Stormflower, do you mind if I join you?” The black tom asked, sitting down beside the she-cat. He liked talking to the warriors in the clan, it made him like he was still very involved in the clan.

Stormflower blinked politely as Crowstrike settled down beside her. "Good morning Crowstrike! I don't mind! Oh, hello Mottlekit!" She purred out. She wrapped her tail around her paws as she blinked warmly at the small kit.

Honeyfall nodded and followed after her apprentice. She accidentally stumbled on a rock, but she quickly recovered and followed after her apprentice. She nodded in greeting to Iciclepelt as she waited for Heatherstar to lead the patrol out.

is Mottlekit a munchkin cat?))

Okay, cuz Stormflower is a munchkin! Or at least I based her off of one!))

Stormflower smiled at the small kit. She stayed sitting up as Crowstrike settled down a little more. She hated the fact that she was so small. She frowned as she glanced at Crowstrike in the corner of her eye. SHe turned her gaze back to the small kit in front of her.

Darksplash frowned as even more cats joined the patrol. He didn't like being that social. All he wanted to do was leave camp and hunt with a few cats. He hadn't expected so many cats to join the patrol. He stared down at his paws awkwardly as he waited for the patrol to leave.

Swiftbird - Camp - Open
Swiftbird stood at the sound of Heatherstar, padding out into the camp and looking up at her leader. Growling under her breath, she walked to join the group standing in front of the cream she-cat. She had wanted to be rid of her for some time now, but the right moment had never come around. It was getting annoying to follow the old leader’s commands. The silver tabby stopped at the edge of the group and looked up. “I’d like to take a border patrol out as well,” she called, her gaze searching the crowd for any cat volunteering.

Icehaze - Camp - Frostfang
Icehaze padded out of the warrior’s den after Swiftbird and turned to walk toward his brother. The slightly older brother was usually quite competitive, always wanting to be better than everyone else. But he and his brother were close, so he didn’t try as hard. Grinning, he sat beside the white tom. “Good morning,” he mewed.

Driftpaw - Apprentice’s Den - Open
Driftpaw lay in the apprentice’s den, trying to fall back asleep. She had been awoken by the noises of the camp, but since no one had come in to gather her for training, she had decided to try and get some more rest. It didn’t help, though, that everyone was so loud.

Marigoldsun - Camp Entrance - Open
Marigoldsun had woken up early and taken up a position outside the camp entrance. She liked the quiet morning noises of prey in the undergrowth and birds in the trees. The leaves rustling and the breeze blowing. The ginger she-cat was usually looking for something to tidy up, but it wasn’t unusual to see her just sitting still.


Jinx - Rogue Camp - Open
Jinx sat up in his nest as the rays of sun peeked in through the den’s roof. He began to clean himself, his gaze searching the den. It was small, only able to comfortably house a few cats, but it was nice. The whole camp was nice, actually. He was still surprised that a place such as this could exist. There was prey everywhere, water, and the forest was beautiful. It was a big change from the village that he had once called home.

(I’m gonna say that Jinx was once a loner in the village.)

Pine - Forest - Beetle
Pine was crouched in the undergrowth a few tail-lengths from Beetle. As he caught the mouse he was after, she stood and approached him. “Nice catch,” she mewed simply, opening her mouth to scent any other prey close by. She didn’t usually hunt with others, but the occasional companion was good for everyone.

Twist - Rogue Camp - Open
Twist was sprawled in the camp, enjoying the sunlight that came through the tree tops. He took a bite from the vole at his paws and chewed thoughtfully, watching the camp arose slowly.

Ivy - Forest - Open
Ivy crouched, intently focused on the thrush in front of him. He wasn’t particularly skilled in bird-hunting, but food was food. No cat could afford to be picky. Even when things were as good as they were now. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he prepared to pounce. Crouching lower, he sprung, paws outstretched. The brown bird quickly started to fly upward, but Ivy twisted to bat it down. Sighing with relief, he turned and trapped it beneath his paws and killed it swiftly.

> “That’s very good! Soon you’ll be an apprentice and learn even more.” Crowstrike smiled at the excited kit, he seemed to have the right energy to be an apprentice already. “You seem about ready to have your first apprentice too, right Stormflower?” The black tom asked, even though Stormflower was smaller than the others she was a valuable warrior to the clan and she might be able to pass her confidence on the next generation of warriors.

> At Swiftbird’s call Darksky raised to her paws, since she had already hunted this morning a border patrol would be a great way to make herself useful. “Goodmorning Swiftbird, I’ll join you.” She greeted the deputy, her black tail swishing loosely behind her.

Stormflower froze for a second. "Oh, uhm yes! Sorry, I blanked for a minute!" She meowed, taking a deep breath. She hadn't expected Crowstrike to say something like that. She smiled warmly at Mottlekit, if she did become a mentor, she didn't know if she would be able to teach her apprentice all that they would need to know.

Dewpaw couldn't seem to spot his mentor, so he decided to go back to the apprentices den. He spotted Driftpaw and wondered if she was till asleep. He sat down a few tail-lengths away from her and waited to see if she would get up.
