I'm really excited for the book, but my grandma is trying to talk me into waiting for Christmas. I don't want to wait though. By then the whole thing will be spoiled for me, and this time I actually want to surprise myself.

I just hope there is some kind of big, shocking well written death that no one expects. And hopefully it will be a character that people will like, and not some background character. The deaths are more meaningful when it's someone we know and have seen develop.

Fangirling aside, I'm pretty excited for the next book (EVEN THOUGH I still haven't finished TAQ yet, oops). I have high hopes for the rest of the series; I hope the Erins continue on the overall positive note (writing-wise, I know the story itself is going to be kind of dark, lol) that they left off on.

Nothing will ever be as dark as Dawn of the Clans (Survivors doesn't count; different authors wrote that series), it definitely looks promising. I hope Darktail is as good as Kate says he'll be.
