What are the best depictions of cats in the series when it comes to mental illness?
I guess Bluestar is the most well-known, but others include Graypool with dementia and Moth Flight with ADHD.

Edit: Palebird with PDD, postnatal depression, which was made worse by losing one of her kits.

Wait, wasn't Flywhisker noted to have ADHD by one of the author's?
Or was it a different character?

Palebird's PPD for sure. Also I consider Moth Flight's ADD, while more a disorder than an illness, pretty decently written (by itself, not speaking of the later events of the book), hell I'm autistic and she tends to share a lot of traits I do seeing as symptoms of ADD/ADHD and Autism tend to overlap.

Idk if it counts as a mental illness, but Hollyleaf spiral into madness after the truth about her parentage was revealed. She'd basically built her whole life upon being loyal to the warrior code, even to the point where it seemed excessive, and to find out that her entire existence was breaking a huge part of it must have been horrible and I'm not surprised she went down like that.

I remember Dovewing showed signs of PTSD for a while, it's a shame they didn't further explore that in her character. Same with Ivypool because of her training in the Dark Forest. Personally, I think Palebird had the best depiction of mental illness in the series, it was handled rather well.
