We've had situations where cats are forced to choose being loyal to their Clan or doing the right thing.
Examples would be Squirrelflight obeying her Clan leader or Squirrelflight defending the Sisters; Bluefur giving her kits away to become leader instead of Thistleclaw or Bluefur joining RiverClan to be with Oakheart; Tigerheart remaining with his broken Clan or leaving to look after Dovewing; Crowfeather obeying Onestar or speaking out against him.
What do you think should be chosen? A cat's loyalty to the warrior code or their moral conduct? Or does it depend too much on the conditions to answer clearly?

Hm, I'd say it depends on the situation really. Sometimes the cats value the warrior code over common decency and sense, but sometimes there's situations where there isn't a win-win (like some of the ones you listed), and a cat chooses to follow the warrior code.

I think it depends on what the exact situation is.
When Fireheart went behind Bluestar's back to prevent a fight with WindClan over false trespassing allegations it was the correct thing to do because his leader wasn't thinking clearly, due to her paranoia.
When Squirrelflight went behind Bramblestar's back she also had good intentions to save The Sisters from being attacked by the Clans, despite them keeping her hostage and provoking a battle by remaining unbothered wih the Clans becoming impatient.
I'm still convinced that, while both of these characters meant well, they should've communicated it better.

It depends on the situation and the cat's own personality.

I feel that it really does depend on the situation and the circumstances of how things are initiated. For example, when it came to Squirrelflight, she may have meant good, but she didn't communicate with her leader/mate, and continuously disobeyed him, and went behind his back. Which led to her not only being captured, another leader getting hurt, and also putting her clan in danger when it came to sheltering said hostile cats. She made decisions that quite frankly, weren't her's to make, she was deputy, not leader, and her actions came off as foolish even if it was intended to be good.
Meanwhile, situations like Tigerheart and Bluestar were situations that would have been avoided in general if they just...didn't break the code in the first place. There wouldn't be any kits on the line, or mates from other clans. But since there are, and for the sake of these questions, when it comes to Tigerheart, I don't think him abandoning his clan when they needed him more than his wayward selfish mate was the better idea. He came back sure, but in his absence his clan ceased to exist, and his own father was murdered.
On the other hand Bluestar's actions caused the death of one of her own kits, while they also lived a lie in another clan during their upbringing. She lied to her clan about their deaths, and their foster father, just to secure her position as the next deputy, and then next leader. But honestly, I feel like this whole idea and plan was flawed...say if Bluestar didn't make it to leadership, she died before that could happen, then what? Her actions would have been for naught. Also why couldn't Sunstar just choose another warrior, and even if he did choose Thistleclaw, there's nothing stopping him from demoting him later, Tallstar did it (as dumb as the decision was), and I remember Mudclaw was a very fairly popular choice too.
Basically with both Blue and Tiger, honestly those situations could have been handled better, and even then could have easily been avoided if both cats were more loyal to their clans.
When it comes to Crowfeather and Onestar...well...Onestar's actions in general were very questionable anyways. So honestly no problem with that one. Not to mention, even other cats in WindClan didn't agree with Onestar's actions in other situations either, down the line. Imo, there's a difference between Crowfeather doing something to benefit his clan, and what Squirrelflight did to benefit the Sisters. And Bramblestar putting his clan first because he cares about it, vs Onestar who just wants to throw his weight around and cause problems (last I remember he even wanted to refuse for help and drive the stoats into TC territory).

Doing the right thing is always the best option to take. However, the "right thing" is not always clear, and in a lot of situations, I would argue the right thing is actually following the Code rather than whatever the other option is that might look pretty good but will lead to more issues down the line *cough Bluefur cough Squilf cough*.
