Cloudy gave a nod. "A clan kit alright! Now what is your gender," he asked you, as he wrapped his tail around his paws. "We have one more question after this and than your story can truly begin!"

Answer-Drizzle
Cloudy gave a nod. "It's great to meet you Drizzlekit!! I'm looking forward to seeing how your story goes," he spoke. He rose his to his paws. Offering one last smile the tom waved a goodbye with his tail and walked away, before disappearing into the air.


Chapter 1
"Shouldn't she have opened her eyes," a voice spoke out in the darkness. You can feel movement around you as your mother licks your head. You open your eyes and see your brothers Sootkit and Brackenkit wrestling on the ground, as Heronkit watches. You were the only she cat of the litter, and had been the last born, making you the youngest.

"Why don't you go and join your brothers, Drizzlekit" your mother purred. You looked at the queen, Leafspirit. Before around in the nursery, there you see two other queens, Gorgeheart with her two kits and Feathertuft with her kit.

Do you go and join your brothers? Or do you want to meet the other kits? Or just sit with your mother?

Sunkit, the tom, looked at you curiously. "Hey Drizzlekit," he greeted you. Moonkit, the she cat, gave a small nod of greeting. You never heard her speak, in fact no one had. Wrenwatcher, the medicine cat, couldn't figure out why, but was just accepted soon. Owlkit was rather loud for your liking.

"So what brings you over here," Owlkit commented with a frown. "Uusually you talk with your siblings." He flicked his ear s if to dismiss you. Just because he was the son of Hollowstar, the clan leader, he thought he had power over the other cats. When he saw you were still there he glared a bit. "That was your queue to bug off!"

Sunkit rose to his paws. "Hey she can talk with us if she wants," he said softly. Sunkit was often the one having to keep things calm, when the queens weren't around. You look to Feathertuft to see the queen had gone to sleep, and Gorgeheart and your mother were having a conversation, not noticing the conflict between the kits.

"Foxthorn," you answered to Sunkit. You had heard stories about how good of a tracker Foxthorn was, granted the tom had a rap sheet of causing mischief even as a warrior, often pranking his clanmates. But he sounded like he would be a fun mentor to have.

Sunkit gave a small nod. "Hopefully my father won't give you to much grief." You blinked in surprise you had forgotten that Foxthorn was Sunkit and Moonkit's father. He smiled with a slight laugh. "Though I would love to see how him being a mentor could go."

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath leader's branch for a clan meeting," Hollowstar called out. The queens rose as they ushered the kits out of the nursery to sit and listen in on the meeting. You settle outside the nursery with everyone else.

Hollowsky sat on the branch of a tree that sat in camp. He flicked his tail as he watched the cats gather below him. "I have unfortunate news, our deputy Silverhawk is having to retire to the elder's den, his injuries where unable to be treated successfully despite how hard our medicine cats worked to help him. So I say these words before our warrior ancestors so that their spirits may here and approve my choice," he called out. "The enxt deputy of Eskercan will be ___."
