Hold up, there's an 8th arc being released? Honestly, I admire you guys for making it this far. I stopped reading the main series after The Last Hope and the last stand-alone I read was Bramblestar's Storm. I have no clue what WG is going on about 90% of the time lmao
I'll just stick to spoiler threads if I'm really that curious about it.

I originally started reading the books way way back in 2008-ish (holy crap I’m old) and read up until around the fourth book of OOTS before my friends started judging me for still enjoying the “dumb cat books”. I didn’t pick them up again until YEARS later when I was having a really rough time and needed a way to cope (2017 I think? Whenever the hell I rejoined the forums). I re-read everything and I read all of the new content that I had missed. To be fair, I probably wouldn’t have done this had I not found the PDFs for free online, but still. These books helped me through a rough time and I’ve been hooked on them again ever since.
I’m probably gonna continue reading if I’m being honest. Yes, the quality is declining, but there’s a certain nostalgic comfort I get from reading these books - even the newer ones. I think they messed up AVOS, and I don’t particularly like the SEs that take place in modern times, but I think TBC is really good and there’s still a lot of potential for Warriors to become good again. I was a bit disappointed in how obvious Ashfur was as a villain, but otherwise I’m really enjoying it - even if I hate the fact that I barely know the characters.
Honestly, even if the quality doesn’t get better, there’s something comforting about curling up in bed at night and reading these books until I fall asleep. It’s become a routine for me, and I still get some kind of enjoyment out of the series, even if it is just from nostalgia. So yeah, I’ll keep reading until I either get sick of it again or until they stop writing them. We’ll see which comes first.

I stopped reading after AVOS and I don't consider anything happening in TBC canon in my own headcanon because I hate it.

I'll be here, no matter how bad it gets.

I don't consider anything after Last Hope canon
It seems like the majority of the Fandom might even agree considering there's barely any fanart or MAPs about anything after that

I mean honestly, I don't know anymore. I don't want to be judged reading cat books that I've been reading for almost 8 years but also, I've been slowly moving away interest wise. I'm not in any other fandoms really though, and the warriors interest is still there so I honestly don't know. I love making animations for the wonderful fandom and enjoy writing fics, but I still think I'll lurk for a while. I'm hoping my own animated series takes off so I have something else to invest in though. Idk this fandom has been with me pretty much my whole childhood so not sure if I'm ready to let it go fully...

I stopped reading religiously after TPoT. I read The Fourth Apprentice and then didn’t touch anything else in OotS. Haven’t read DoTC. I’ve read some of AVoS. I’ve read some of TBC. Really I read the first book or two and then just read spoiler threads for the rest.
Will I read anything after this arc? Eh.

For me I'm going to wait on the synopsis for the new series before I say anything. It's an instant yes to give it a go if there's a timeskip of any kind as I dislike following the same cats for multiple series like this. So far the signs point to it not having a timeskip but I still hope it will as this will be a nice hurrah to a lot of current characters.
If the current series ends on a note I dislike I may leave it for a while or not bother. Same as if the synopsis sounds like a bore or the reception from others isn't good when they read it. Part of me hopes for a series that fleshes out the Tribe and makes them make more sense. Not a travel series but just one based in the Tribe.
Honestly though, warriors is my guilty pleasure so if I stop enjoying I'll stop reading and I'm less put off than others may be if the plot is a bit nonsensical or a bit bad. It won't upset me too much if I dislike the new series as I'll wait for the next one or just go back and re-read the Prophecies begin again.

I’m so far out of touch with the books themselves that I haven’t read a Warriors book in years. Last one I read was TLH and I don’t have the interest to pick up any of the other books. I’m here for the community, not for reading the books.

I find myself still liking them for the certain character arcs, even if the plot gains more holes by the hour. But I'm also way back at Shattered Sky, so I might not know much. Here for the community, slowly reading the books. X'D
