what if she was able to successfully raise the fox and adopt him? what if he shows up later in the great battle, ready to defend his mom like how the dragons defend dany in game of thrones? i think it'd be super OP for a cat to have a fox loyal to her and ready to fight for her lol. breezepelt could have died if the fox attacked him for atatcking his mom.
do you think this would be cool or would it be a bad idea?

That actually would be pretty interesting. Seeing how the other cats react, and Hollyleaf's personal feelings. Also, the fox could be very wholesome and cool, plus give Thunderclan an advantage in battle.

I think that the fox would have been a super interesting idea to add. I'm pretty curious of how the other cat's would treat it, and it's a good opportunity for the authors to explore themes of discrimination/exclusion.

Aw man, the fox cub story was so wholesome. It's a shame that the Erins didn't expand on it more in terms of developing cat-fox relations. Think of all the books you could make with that! Plus extra opportunities for wholesomeness! And, of course, learning more about foxes and their psyche.

As cool and cute as the idea is, I feel the Fox cub plot had a certain symbolism to it to me, especially with it rejecting her for not being its real mother despite her raising it; a parallel in how she rejected Squirrelflight for the same. It's like that extra kick.
So I think there was a reason it went the way it did and didn't just have the story go the easy way with it staying with her throughout.

Now I imagine Hollyleaf bringing the fox cub home and ThunderClan just having to adapt to it...

If Hollyleaf did bring the fox cub to Thunderclan, they could really have the advantage with intimidating other clans and rogues. Not including the Dark Forest, since Midnight the Badger Ghost fought them.

I just finished rereading Hollyleaf’s Story and man this whole thing was so cute, if not completely bizarre and making no sense. I loved it.

I definitely agree with the whole thing of it being a way for Hollyleaf to reflect on her own issues. I do think it would be interesting for the fox to have stayed though. It would've opened up a lot of possibilities surrounding the role of other animals in Warriors depending on the direction taken. That being said I don't really want the animal interaction in Warriors to change much and I like the ever-looming threat of these logical but antagonistic creatures that are also trying to survive in their own way. If it were set up right it could be super interesting and cool but considering how Warriors is a bit of a mess narratively due to how the narrative is constructed as each book is written I would worry that the fox character wouldn't be handled great or just forgotten quickly unless it was a protagonist or related to a protagonist's story directly.
If it were something that had to happen, I think I would prefer it to be a case where it and Hollyleaf travel/live alone, never quite being on the same page but both willing to try to understand and compromise anyway. It would mean she wouldn't return to Thunderclan, unless they chose that the fox goes off with a mate so she decided to return to her own true "home" that she's been thinking about.
