Okay, then that particular conversation shall be something like that, including inner monologuing xD As for the next spy meeting, yeah, he's so gonna get yelled at. But since it's Schuyler he definitely won't apologize. He'll just let him yell, not even really listening to him, while already hatching his next plan to fix this shit xD

Yeah, that sounds good! No one will disagree with either option as both things are pretty important. And not even that unusual for him to take a small group with him, especially if they're squires.

Also, we still have another subplot for one of the earlier months. You know, some shifty people sneaking around town and the marketplace. And Elara thinking that they are working for her brother and once it's clear that those suspicious people have nothing to do with him she begins to feel more safe at the monastery. Just to make her paralogue (for the Wyvern Moon, if I remember correctly?) so much worse for her xD Anyway, who's gonna investigate those shady people? Does Ambrose take five students again or do we want the Occult Club to sneak out of the monastery and into town at night? And during which month do we want to do this? Since we want this subplot early on I guess either Harpstring Moon or Garland Moon make the most sense. Oh, and maybe the guy how is working for her brother will arrive at Garreg Mach during the same month (either as a squire or as someone who just works there) and help Ambrose's group or the occult club with their investigation

As long as he doesn't pick his Bandit Bashers for this xD We need more groups with silly names, after all! And poor Elara, getting forced to join the investigation team xD But yeah, it's best if she sees for herself that while this shady group is up to no good they aren't working for her brother. Oh, and maybe we can do both? First the Occult Club investigating at night and, depending on what they find out, secretly passing that information to someone else without giving themselves away. And then the knight's captain sends Ambrose (and telling him to take some students along). Also, depending on how bad the shady group is Ambrose and the students will either have to kill them or just capture them. Either way, the meanies will be dealt with.
So everyone will pick two of their characters again for that, right? For you that would be Ambrose and Elara I guess. Now I've gotta decide which ones I'll pick. Maybe one of my Eagles since none of them got to join the Bandit Bashers

Alright! And yeah, coming up with a name is hard, even if it can be a silly one. They're not bashing any bandits this time which makes it even harder xD They are investigating a shady group and will deal with them. Hm... oh well, we will come up with something eventually and we still have plenty of time! Gotta do the first Occult Club investigation and the mock battle first ^^
Also, maybe Ambrose's group will do their thing at night because that's when those suspicious people are doing whatever we want them to do? He'd then approach students who might be interested in joining and tells them to meet at the main gate after dinner. Since they're a group and have a knight with them it's not even against the night time rule. But we can have them do their thing during the day of course ^^

Well, anything but Idiot Teenagers with a Deathwish will work. And no Funky Furry Fun please, even if Rekka joins the group and we'll have two beastkin on the team, it just sounds wrong xD

Okay, that settles it, Tahvo is going to join them! As for my Eagles, I guess I'll decide that based on if we need a mage or another fighter. But yeah, love Ambrose being a jerk to wolfboy but trying not to make it too obvious by also making joke about the others. And depending on whether he'll actually help them out this time or not we'll have another set of five students who'll think of him as an incompetent dumbass xD

Well that's a relief xD But yeah, we need something embarrassing. Something he thinks sounds cool but everyone agrees that it's the lamest thing they've ever heard

As long as he doesn't get caught by the kids, they'd definitely distrust him after that. But Schuyler probably knows how to go about this, he could totally pull it of

And even if you don't come up with something by then we might accidentally find a name for the group, just like it happened with our Bandit Bashers xD

I know it would make him look like a huge idiot but it would be funny if he actually did use that as an excuse for helping the shady bois xD Imagine all of his groups sharing their experiences with each other ('he says his horse ran off' 'that's nothing. he fought against us because apparently it was too dark. and even after that he kept hitting Tahvo because for some reason he wasn't sure that it was actually him.'), then it would make even less sense to them that this guy is a knight and has been trusted with such tasks. Makes it even funnier when the Occult Club suspects him, Julius would definitely point out that it will be hard to convince the church because Ambrose is such a dumbass. "Okay, next time we meet up to find some evidence." Too bad the Guardian Moon Mission happens before they can investigate more and Akakios, as Amatus, will remove anything else that would point towards Ambrose

Even funnier if Spark picks Rekka for this and Ambrose doesn't hit him because while he doesn't like the beastkin in general he just hates the wolfskin xD And yup, while the Occult Club will suspect Ambrose they know very well that no one would believe them. Akakios would probably mock Schuyler for it. Like sure, he screwed up by accidentally getting them on Ambrose's trail but he had enough time to put his plan in motion and destroy all evidence. And why? Because the club needed some time to discuss things, specifically how to convince the church that Ambrose might be suspicious. Because the church would never believe that it's possible for anyone to be this good at acting like an idiot so consistently. "Thanks man, it all worked out in the end, thanks to my planning and your talent for acting like the world's greatest numbskull. It's almost like you were born for this role!"

Making it even more obvious that he doesn't like wolfskin xD The group probably wonders when wolfboy will snap. Meanwhile Tahvo does begin to strongly dislike Ambrose but won't really do anything about the bullying for now. He's not gonna retaliate since he doesn't want to get in trouble for attacking or insulting a knight but I bet he hopes that guy will step on a Lego or something. If anyone ever wants to prank Ambrose Tahvo will be the first one to join them xD
Of course Schuyler will never forget this, he'll just hate Akakios forever. And with every insult he'll hate that kid even more

They'd probably be a bit more understanding if they knew but even then I think most would be like "okay, that's an explanation but no excuse to keep bullying them." Same could be said about Jasmine and her disdain for the students from Sreng if the others knew about it. Also the reason why she doesn't call him out on his petty behaviour. She does like most of the beastkin (taguels suck because they live in Sreng) but she's not gonna criticise Ambrose for something she's pretty much doing herself

Oh hell yeah xD Who else would be up for it? If Neason suggests pranking Ambrose then Julius will definitely join because Neason is a bad influence xD So that's three Deer on the team so far

Who knows? It's hard to tell. What I do know though is that Neason should never be part of one of Ambrose's little teams, no one could stand this! xD

Yeah, that too. Sure, it sucks but stuff like that can happen in battle. As for him teasing her about being sent to Sreng, hell yeah xD While the knights have avoided actually picking her for missions there so far (because they don't think she can deal with it maturely yet) he can still tease her about the possibility of it happening. Even better if one of the three classes (most likely the Lions) get sent there for a mission and she has to join them for it. Oh man, she'd hate it xD But it would also be one of the first steps for her to become accepting of the people of Sreng

Larissa would definitely be up for it too. Agnar may join too for the same reason as Imrie. Callan too once he's more comfortable around the other students. And I wouldn't put it past Nora either. I think only Vincent would never join them but even he can't really respect Ambrose

Hey, a good disaster is always welcome here! ^^ Just make sure it happens in one of the less serious months

Such a shame we don't get to see real Ambrose (well, aside from the big reveal as a demonic beast...), he'd be so much fun xD But Schuyler Ambrose is fun too because we all know how much he hates being him. And yeah, so what if she stabs a rabbit? Now one of the students can have a cool rug for their room!

Love how so many students absolutely can't respect this guy xD And poor Searc having to look after his three idiots. He probably doesn't care that Julius behaves during battle and Callan doesn't cause trouble at the monastery, he'll just always keep an eye on them 24/7, both on missions and back at the monastery so he can sleep at night xD

Oh hell yeah! Something fun and idiotic right before everyone boards the angst train! It's all downhill from here on out!

But speaking of idiots, I guess I've gotta figure out how my Deer will behave during the first few missions. Most will be decided when we're actually at that point but it probably won't hurt to have some idea for the first set of missions already. How they'll behave at the mock battle and on their very first real mission. And some of them will act differently for the Garland Moon mission because of how important it is to Neason

I wonder if he'll tell real Ambrose about all the stuff he's been doing in his place xD And yup, a rug made of Taguel fur ends up in the room of one of our rabbits? No idea how it got there. Meanwhile Jasmine is always saving some rabbit skewers from lunch or dinner so she has some at hand whenever she runs into them.

Yeah, that'll probably be the only time he's doing really well as a leader. And then he'll be back on his usual bullshit after that xD Still might show some improvement over the year, for example at the battle of the eagle and the lion he'll be a better leader than he was at the mock battle?

Also here's how my deer will do at the mock battle, at least that's the plan for now

Mock Battle
Julius - Most likely will follow Neason, mainly as support and to try and stop him from being too stupid. Since it's just a mock battle though he'll end up going along with Neason's "plan" because why not have some fun during a non-serious battle?

Callan - Probably won't do anything stupid. It's a mock battle after all so there's no real danger. As for his fight with Imrie, he knows he can't beat her but will put up a good enough fight to show he can definitely handle himself. Gotta have Searc think this kid isn't an idiot, makes it even more fun to prove him wrong later on!

Tahvo - Starts out smart enough, observing the other students and figuring out their strengths and weaknesses so he can pick fights he can win. Then realizes that he has to make everyone think that his judgement can't be trusted and rushes at a small group of students who are too strong for him. While he could beat one of them he would stand no chance against a team like that.

Yeah, lucky for them! Only Amatus isn't too fond of them because he distrusts people from Morfis. Well, any outsider who knows magic since he believes that magic comes from the Goddess so any outsider who can cast spells must have some evil or corrupted version of Fódlan's magic. And since Morfis is known for having super awesome mages he trusts this country the least. But he mostly keeps it too himself and won't be mean to the kitsune, the worst thing he'll do is looking at them with suspicion when no one is watching

Well, we'll first see how every house has developed by then but yeah, the Deer will definitely be tough opponents, whether they win or not. No matter who wins, the others will be shocked at how good the Deer are now!

Also here's more stuff about my Deer for the first few missions. For anything after that however I'll wait until we're a few months in

Harpstring Moon mission (most likely just a big group of normal bandits since it's the first mission)

Julius - Definitely will behave from here on out (well, at least during missions) because this and all the other missions are real battles. Will keep an eye on opponents so he can stay away from anyone who's too strong for him and might approach those who are weak enough that he can beat them. Will stick close to a classmate to support them and will also keep an eye out for anyone else in the group who might benefit from his dancing.

Callan - Will still be competent and smart enough but he will show some first signs of becoming unhinged when he's fighting alongside someone who's at a disadvantage. Nothing too bad yet but it might alert some of his classmates to his more reckless tendencies.

Tahvo - Will make questionable decisions for himself and act unpredictable and foolish. Some however might notice that despite of all that he somehow manages to hold his own and is actually smarter than he lets on. He may break formation and draw attention by rushing at opponents instead of trying to get them by surprise but it also doesn't put him in any real danger because he actually knows what he's doing.

Garland Moon

All three of them will be at their best behavior and do whatever they can to make this mission go over perfectly. Since Neason is competent here they'll only have to follow his orders and do their part to make this a huge success.

Blue Sea Moon

Julius - Not much different from the previous two missions, only even more mindful of his opponents since we're dealing with assassins this time. Will fight very defensively and otherwise will just support his classmates by dancing and using white magic to heal them if necessary.

Callan - Will once again start out normally but I do intend for him to switch to idiot mode this time. All offense and zero defense at some point, either protecting one of our other characters or some nameless npc.

Tahvo - Will try to act foolish again but just like with the first mission he'll be careful enough to not put himself or others in danger. Depending on where the Deer will fight the assassins he'll also use that area to his advantage. Definitely very obvious now that he is capable.
