So Desai should stay away from the monastery if he knows what's good for him xD But yeah, angry Philomel would be interesting to see. As for the roast session (because hell yeah, let's call it that!) the students will definitely need it. I mean, almost all of the foreign students were targeted by that cult. As for dark magic, both Julius and Callan know spells from that category. So having another character using it definitely wouldn't hurt ^^

Though I could always just arrange for one visit and it's so he can yell at his severely injured son for neason being gone or something : )
Searc as a result refuses to let his body rest even more and is trying extra hard in sneaking out to train and junk cause ehhhh it's only blood loss and other injuries that he's dealing with he's fineeeee not to pass put any second in the slightest

Also, posting my OCs's spell lists again. I remember you allowing our characters to learn nerfed versions of Bohr and Quake, Sussuru . Bohr will reduce the target's and the caster's HP to 1, making it a very risky spell, and Quake will mainly serve to slow enemies down and can't be used if it's casted while flying. Since Callan won't learn it before becoming a Dark Flier or Malig Knight he definitely won't get many chances to use it as he'd rather stay on his pegasus/wyvern. Rules I've set for myself:
- characters can learn only one of the more powerful Reason spells: Meteor, Bolting, Quake and Bohr. So that one person can't use both Bolting and Meteor, for example.
- characters who generally won't bother with magic can learn three Faith spells and two Reason spells
- anyone who has Faith listed as a strength will most likely already know Heal and Nosferatu
- those who have Reason as a strength will know their first Reason spell
- since Konstantin is a professor he already knows all his spells.
- as an Agarthan who already had a lot of training Akakios knows most of his spells already

(Unfortunately for him he has absolutely no potential when it comes to magic)
Also something I've been wondering about: I know it wasn't in Three Houses but maybe we can use something like the weapon triangle? Well, not the weapon triangle itself since it probably won't work well in an rp but I think there was something similar with the magic system in some of the older games. The Trinity of Magic or whatever that system is called. We have three forms of magic (white, black and dark) just like in those games (white, anima, dark) and unlike with the weapon triangle it could actually work here.
The way we could make it work is that for example someone who mainly uses black magic would be more vulnerable to dark magic but also be more resistant to offensive white magic. Those who mainly use faith spells would struggle against someone with black magic and could wreck someone who relies more on dark magic. And those who use dark magic work great against opponents who mainly use black magic but are vulnerable to white magic.
Or to put it simply: White -> Dark -> Black -> White
Sure, some of our characters use more than one type of magic but they still focus mainly on one of them. For example, Nora focuses equally on white and black magic but since she trains to get the Holy Knight class she classifies as a white magic user in terms of her defenses against magic.
Just a suggestion though, we don't have to implement that. Especially if we think we can't memorize how that triangle works xD So yeah, no need to do this if we want to keep things simple.

Got 90% of the new oc worked out but I'm stumped on one thing. I know he has a curse of some sort and that curse is the reason he enrolled at the academy. Struggling to think of what said curse does. Has to be major enough for him to be actively trying to remove it  |

Hm. Sounds interesting already. Also reminds me that I have to come up with some curses myself since Tahvo believes that every crest bearer is cursed in some way and that each one is different. Here's a curse generator but it's mostly weird stuff that probably won't help you but maybe there are some bits and pieces you can work into a fitting one.
Any details about your new OC that could help?

Is he going to come up with a different curse for every crest bearer? If so, that's going to be fun.
My current candidates are:
- Nightmares every he sleeps
- Hands burn whenever he touches something which doesn't belong to him
- Unable to see colour (so colour blindness, I guess)
The second two are the ones I'm leaning towards as they have some significance in regards to his personality and back story. And uh, both are pretty inconvenient. Basically, he works as a thief and odd job man for a mysterious benefactor (who may or may not be part of the church at Garrag Mach) and has a bit of a fixation with colourful stuff. Once, he got caught stealing by a noble house, leading to him being cursed.

Voting for the third one! The first sounds good too but if you only want it to be one of them the third curse is the best.
And yeah, thanks to his tribe's misconception and lack of knowledge about crests Tahvo will feel sorry for other crest bearers. He won't outright ask them but he'll definitely observe them and listen to what they have to say about their lives and from that he'll conclude what each "curse" is. He'll also wonder what they or those before them did to get cursed in the first place. If he knows that some have the same crest as their parents he'll think that they were just unfortunate enough to inherit it.

Yeah, go ahead, Spark ^^ So... I once made a list on how my character's will do in battle. Since then I've made three more characters so I guess I should update it. So once again, how smart are they on a scale from 1 to Neason 10? Tahvo is a bit more complicated. He doesn't enjoy fighting but is definitely good enough. Normally he'd be one of the more sensible ones and he can be very shrewd. However he tries his best to make himself look foolish and incompetent, thus deliberately making bad decisions. At the same time he makes sure that they aren't bad enough to put him in any actual danger and he's also very careful that it won't endanger his teammates. So yeah, 2-6 for him but he's not very good in pretending he'd deserve one of the higher numbers. Larissa is usually pretty sensible, despite her joking demeanour. She won't take many risks and can be overly careful. But since she's more focused on her defense than her offense she'll often miss good opportunities to take an opponent down. I'd say 2-3 for her. Néo is similar to Jasmine in how he'd just charge at a large group or a strong enemy but unlike her he doesn't know when or how to retreat. It gets especially bad when he's fighting alongside humans since he wants to prove to them (or rather himself) that he's superior. At least he's strong enough that he can handle himself most of the time but he's neither very skilled nor strategic. Fortunately he won't participate in too many battles, he only gets to fight in about four missions (Verdant Rain Moon, Blue Sea Moon, Pegasus Moon and Lone Moon) and in the later months he also stops disobeying orders. Definitely a 9 for him.
Also, an updated list for everyone's class progression. I don't even have to come up with something for Tahvo since for him it'll be just Wolfskin > Wolfssegner and Julius will keep his Dancer class. Akakios already has access to the Trickster class and I think he will become a Gremory or a Mortal Savant later on. Néo remains a Taguel of course.

Maybe. It definitely looks interesting enough but I've never played a Warriors game before and don't know if I'll be any good at it. But I am downloading the Demo right now and might play it today after work. Yeah, I'm wondering about that too! So even if I'm not gonna get the game after all I'm gonna watch a Let's Play or Walkthrough so I know what kind of new stuff it has to offer.

I played the demo yesterday and I'd say it's pretty easy to play once you get the hang of it. Definitely less tactics, more hack & slash. What I'm most interested in though is the story because, without spoiling anything, they've flipped a lot of stuff from TH on it's head. Plus a protagonist who isn't silent (!).
I'm kind of hoping we'll get more info about the TWSITD. Maybe some new mission ideas for the sparser months?
