Who are the editors for Warriors?
Honestly, and why are they making up so BAD story-lines honestly honestly honestly ugh Also, why did they choose to disregard Wavepaw and Cypresspaw, who were named after BlogClanners, Wavesplash and Cypresswind, and make up boring names that happened like, a hundred million times before? And I think I heard somewhere Kate wanted to name Spotfur's kits after BlogClanners too, but the editors stopped it...?
And don't forget they gave an obnoxious reason for FoxRose not happening; "They're family! Uncle and niece!" Aaaand there was Dustpelt and Ferncloud yelling in the background.
Why did they make up a name like Twigbranch? Don't get me wrong, it's grown on me, but why in the world who they make up Twigtwig? The reasoning is beautiful, yes yes yes, but -

I know for sure there are probably more than 12 editors for these books, which kinda makes me worried. I would rather have just at least two who are familiar with the books and the fandom, not someone that has no knowledge of it. And I like the idea about Spotfur's kits being named after BlogClaners.

And I like the idea about Spotfur's kits being named after BlogClaners. Considering how Cypress and Wave were shucked by the editors without any trace, if Spot's kits names were of Blogclanners I'm betting they'd fall into the same fate. Kate doesn't decide the names (or, anything... really...), so the one time she did those cats were nuked from existence.

To be honest, I get why they chose not to allow characters specifically named after BlogClanners. They may have been afraid of giving the impression that the users were more affiliated with the series than they actually are, for example. Very few people would even know that the characters were named after users on Kate's forums, but I can see editors getting worried about it nonetheless. Paranoid, but somewhat understandable.
The editors really need to let Kate and Cherith have more creative freedom, though. Why shouldn't they get to pick out character names? You seriously can't convince me that naming Twigpaw "Twigbranch" and not "Twigshade" was somehow important for marketing reasons. I feel like Vicky let them have a bit more say in the process than the editors we have now, but who really knows without confirmation.

the team of editors are awful...they don't pick unique names, they forget things constantly, can't keep track of descriptions, names, relations, lore or characters, etc.
idk why or how they're editors if nothing they do keeps this series consistent

cypresspaw and wavepaw could've had potential, and they named a cat after another person before in whorlpelt.

There have been multiple cats named after BlogClanners- Shivering Rose, Jay Frost, Hazel Burrow (Kate's son), and a couple more. If those can get through I don't see why Cypress and Wave couldn't.
