Crowclan & Ratclan
Dwellers of The Forgotten City
Many years have passed since the twolegs left these lands, abandoning their tall metal structures, monsters, and nests without a backwards glance. Years since the kittypets, rogues, and loners of this bustling city were set loose upon the lands to live in solitude without the interference of twolegs. Hunting rats and scavenging carrion to survive. For a long time these untamed wilds were a battleground, cats against cat, and often cat against the many predators that came after the twolegs dissappeared.
In the wake of this strife came the shining light of hope on the horizon. A band of cats that held in their paws the ideals of their ancestors. With Starclan guiding their paws, these cats took this desolate warzone and created a new society, one that brought cats of a likemind together rather than pushing them apart. Crowclan and Ratclan were born into the rubble, and with so many Cats now living together instead of apart it became much easier for them to survive the deadly threats that came their way.
Idea: A Two Clan RP, Apocalyptic City Setting (Disappearance event, not Zombies. No Humans anywhere)
"Crowclan and Ratclan may exist in the same abandoned city but they are anything but alike. Crowclan prefers to stay away from the twoleg structures, and treat buildings/twoleg nests/and other twoleg objects as cursed. To even set foot in one would be to bring the wrath of Starclan down upon them. They live in the city but their camp is in a large park, overgrown with plants and tree's. It is like a miniature forest in the center of the city that shields them from predators. Their territory does include a few buildings, but they are to never go inside as it is forbidden.
Ratclan however use the abandoned twoleg buildings to their advantage, their camp being within such a structure and their main hunting grounds consisting of the rats/mice/rodents that they find within the buildings. They are not quite as rigid with their beliefs and think Crowclan to be foolish for not utilizing what they have. Many of them began as rogues, loners, and kittypets that were around before the clan cats came to the city and thus have always had more understanding of the twoleg structures.
Though it would seem as if there is enough territory for each clan to exist peacefully there is the threat of larger predators. Birds of prey, many wild packs of dogs, coyotes, foxes, and other animals that once would have never set foot within the city but now do so. Our main conflict between the Clans would come from a recent series of storms that have flooded the city and has left most of the city completely underwater or scarce of prey. Even the buildings that Ratclan frequent have become far more dangerous than before, leaving the two clans to fight with one another as they attempt to survive."
I'm looking for interest in the idea mainly before I go about setting it all up. So let me know what you think!
