Darkfire [Deputy][Tom][45 Moons] With; Eaglestar-Everyone Where; Camp. While Darkfire was prepared for Eaglestar to confront him about what he had been up to, it still make the deputies fur rise slightly on his neck at his leader's tone. Opening his maw to defend himself and his patrol, he was quickly cut off by Cherryfrost, who shoved past Eaglestar to get to the injured deputy. While she addressed the tom, Weaselsong slipped by, hissing in his ear. He simply flicked his ears at Brokenmist and Snakevenom's mother, before shaking off his medicine cat as she turned to look him over. Flicking her with his tail, he simply huffed. "I'm fine, Cherryfrost. Just a little blood." While he seemed fine, claw marks showed pink flesh all up his chest and legs where Moonstar had claws him. Blood welled up from each scratch. Yet, he still didn't want to be fussed over.
Stepping up to the brown and white tom, Darkfire addressed the leader with a triumphant tone and a cool look in his dark green eyes. While Eaglestar was taller than Darkfire, the deputy was built of muscle. He held much strength under his black and orange fur. "Today, we successfully claimed to rights to the Sunning Rocks! Willowclan was defeated and our clan can now enjoy what is rightfully ours!" A silky tone slipped into Darkfire's voice and he lowered his head slightly, as if in a sign of respect. While Darkfire despised being under Eaglestar, one would never know his true thoughts of the tom. All they saw was a strong and loyal deputy, who only ever did what he thought was best for his clan. He played the part well, always getting himself out of trouble. "I saw the storm as the perfect opportunity, Eaglestar. I would have come to you, would have loved to have you at my side in claiming this victory. As it is, your son fought as greatly as you would have. You would have been ever so proud of him." He flicked his tail towards the white apprentice who now bore claw marks from his left ear, down to the right side of his maw. Blood dripped into his left eye, causing him to close it. Yet, he looked proud at Darkfire's compliment. Green eyes flashed to the nursery where he knew the leader's newest family members resided. "However, I did not want to disturb such a precious moment with Applenose and your new family. I am happy to know that we have won over the warmth of the rocks for Applenose, Stormslip and our dear elders to go and enjoy."

Snakevenom [Warrior][Tom][32 Moons] With; - Cherryfrost-Pebblepaw. Where; Camp While he stood blocking the camp entrance for a moment, Mysticpaw in front of him as the leader confronted Darkfire, it wasn't until the sound of agitated voices just outside the entrance caused him to move. Glancing back, the brown tabby spotted Cloudbreeze, Articflame, Frostpuddle and Spiderpaw. A snort escaped him as he moved away and settled close to watch his leader and deputy discuss the attack they had made on Willowclan. He couldn't imagine why anyone would be upset that they had claimed the rocks as Gladeclan's, once more.
Lips curling up in disgust as he watched the black and orange deputy lower his head to Eaglestar, he hardly noticed when Pebblepaw approached him. Flinching slightly as the little tom licked his torn sides, he flicked his ears slightly. The medicine cat apprentices eyes flashed with worry as he layered a paste of mixed herbs onto his sides, before wrapping him in cobwebs. He flicked his ears for the medicine cat apprentice to know that he had heard his words. "Thanks, Pebblepaw. That feels better." Turning his attention to Cherryfrost, he waved her over with his tail. "You should really take a look at Mysticpaw. He got sliced right across the face by that Willowclan apprentice. And Splashfury got some nasty marks on her." He didn't even mention Mousepaw and his brother, Brokenmist, as they had both disappeared into their dens. Clearly they weren't as wounded as the rest of the group that actually made an effort to fight.
While his eyes searched the camp, his mind started to wonder to a pretty caliby molly that resided in the Willowclan nursery. While no one else knew, he had taken a make in their rival clan. Applespring was expecting his kits. She had been to the last gathering and had told him the news. She would be expecting kits soon, and wouldn't be able to see him for some time. His heart longed to be with her, but he knew he never could and she would never leave her clan. His eyes flashed back to Darkfire for a moment and he sighed slightly. If his friend ever found out of Applespring and the kits that Snakevenom was about to have, he would do everything he could to disrupt Willowclan and drag those kits to Gladeclan.

β’ Mysticpaw [Apprentice][Tom][11 Moons] With; Everyone/Anyone. Where; Camp. Mysticpaw had trailed behind everyone else once they approached the camp. His heart ached slightly at his sister's words, her lashing out at him, truly effected his mood. Once at camp, he stood with Snakevenom, blocking the camp entrance. Voices outside caused the two to move away. While Snakevenom moved closer to Darkfire and Eaglestar, Mysticpaw moved the opposite direction, sitting by himself. His face stung from where Duckpaw had sliced his face. Blood welling up and running down his white face. He closed his left eye as some dripped into it, making him shake blood droplets all over the ground around him. Pink flesh showed from each claw mark, four perfect lines from one corner to the next. He was lucky that the pretty Willowclan apprentice had missed his eyes, yet he would bare the pink scars forever across his white face. Blood covered his chest and front paws, all his own, all from dripping down his face and neck.
Yet, at Darkfire's praise, the white tom burst with pride, his open tan eye excited as he met his father's gaze. Head held high, he beamed, hoping Eaglestar would be proud of him as well. Even though he was eager for his fathers praise, he couldn't help but shuffle his paws as he once more, thought of Mousepaw and the look of disgust and devastation on her face when he had stopped her from attacking the deputy. He wished his sister understood that he had only done it to protect her. The wrath she would receive from him, would have been much worse, if he hadn't stopped her attack.

Pebblepaw [Medicine cat Apprentice][Tom][6 Moons] With; Cherryfrost-Injured Where; Camp. The discussion of what Pebblepaw had heard, and the pair going off the the caves to speak with Starclan, was cut short as commotion and the scent of blood filled the air around them. At Cherryfrost's command, he gave a short nod before watching his mentor bound out of the den. Quickly, he pulled together what they had of horsetail, goldenrod, and marigold, before chewing the herbs together to form a paste like substance. Wrapping it up in some leaves, he flicked his tail in a large layer of cobwebs, before carrying the chewed herbs and a head of poppy with him. He had a few scraps of herbs clinging to his maw as he padded out of the medicine cats den, and into the clearing.
Once out in the open, his sharp, almost clear blue eyes watched as Splashfury slipped into the shadows. A trail of blood followed her, yet she seemed unwilling to be anywhere near the clan. Watching as Darkfire shook off his mentor, the little white and gray tom turned his attention to Snakevenom as the tom approached. Nasty claw marks ripped down both of his sides, and blood stained his brown tabby fur into clumps. Dropping his herbs, he sniffed at the toms flanks, before giving them a good cleaning. His ears pricked up as he listened to the conversation between Darkfire and Eaglestar. Shaking his head, he smeared the paste of herbs on to the warriors sides, before wrapping cobwebs over the paste to keep it to his fur. He dabbed some catchweed burrs to the cobwebs to tangle it to Snakevenom's flank, to prevent it from moving or falling off. "Alright, Snakevenom. There you are. I want to see you every morning. And you are off warrior duties until this is healed properly. We don't need it opening up and bleeding anymore. And Starclan knows we don't want infections."

Applenose [Queen][Molly][43 Moons] With; Mousepaw. Where; Nursery Applenose sighed softly as her mate padded from the den. The scent of blood drifted towards the nursery and the peachy cream molly's ears flattened slightly. She could hear the commotion of the returning patrols and she immediately wondered if her kits, which were now grown apprentices, were alright. Shifting slightly, she looked down at her four new kits. All four were sleeping soundly at her belly. Moving carefully, she stepped from her nest and waved her tail to Rushingfire and Stormslip. "I'm going to see what's going on. Please watch my kits." Without waiting for an answer, the queen padded from the nursery and out into the open. Rain still drizzled around them, catching her slightly, even with the protection of the forest around them. Her eyes spotted the hind end of her daughter, Mousepaw, disappearing into the apprentices den.
Slipping to the den, she headed inside to find the little gray and white molly inside. Sitting beside her, she nosed her gently, checking her over. "Mousepaw. What happened.? Where's your brother.? Are you alright.?" Worry sparked thick in her voice, yet her green eyes were soft and loving as she questioned her older kit. While she was so close to being a warrior, the mother couldn't help but fret. They would always be her kits, even when they were grown.

Spiderpaw [Apprentice][Molly][9 Moons] With; Frostpuddle Where; Camp A small patrol with just her mentor, had been just what Spiderpaw had needed. While the two were completely soaked to the bone, she held a lightness to her eyes that was often there when she was with Frostpuddle. The lanky black molly was always trying to see the positive's of a situation. Vocal and spunky, with much love for her clanmates. Yet, she was best known for her skills in hunting and running. One of, if not, the fastest member in the clan. She received much praise when it came to that aspect of her training.
Now, as they reached the camp, Snakevenom;s brown tabby hindquarters and Mysticpaw's white one, blocked the way. Huffing, she greeting Articflame and Cloudbreeze with a respectful dip. The group's vocal complaints about being blocked out of camp, seemed to reach the two toms, who moved out of the way in response. Slipping into camp, she found her way to the edge of the clearing, sitting down away from the group. Her wide yellow eyes watched Eaglestar as he confronted Darkfire. Glancing at her mentor, she pricked her ears up. "Did you hear that. They won Sunning rocks!" Unaware of the bad in the situation, she couldn't help but find excitement to be able to soak up the warmth of the sun, on the next warm and clear day.

β’ Cloudbreeze [Warrior][Molly][53 Moons] With; Articflame Where; Outside camp Her brothers words rang in her ears, the entire way back to camp. Of course, she was sure that Eaglestar had chosen the ambitious tom, simply because he was a strong and loyal tom. As well as to keep his eye on the dangerous warrior. Yet, Cloudbreeze couldn't help but feel like her brother had been the perfect choice for the Deputy position. It had shocked many, when their leader hadn't chosen Articflame to be in the position under him. Yet, his brother had taken it as any loyal warrior. He'd simply dipped his head in respect and chanted along with everyone else, for Darkfire.
As they approached the camp, Frostpuddle and Spiderpaw were padding up as well. "Hello, Spiderpaw. Frostpuddle." She blinked warmly at the two, before nudging her brother. His words had been heard and the two felines at the end of Darkfire's patrol had moved. Shock filtered over her face as she entered in time to watch Mousepaw limp away and Brokenmist to disappear in the warriors den. Her head turned to watched Splashfury hid in the shadows. Blood trailed from the rest of the patrol, to where she lay. Snakevenom was bleeding and being treated by Pebblepaw, deep scratches in both sides. Darkfire had blood pooling from his front legs and chest. Yet, it was Mysticpaw that shocked him the most. Deep scratches traveled from his left ear, to the right side of his chin. Blood covered his face, chest, and paws, causing his white coat to look red.
Shivering, the fawn somali followed Spiderpaw and Frostpuddle as they settled a distance away and watched the rest of the clan. Her ears swiveled as Spiderpaw spoke up and she simply shook her head. A soft sigh escaped her maw and she gently touched her tail to the black apprentice's flank. "Dear, with winning those rocks, comes bad things. While we have won them temporarily, what is the cost.? Look at those wounds, they will bare those marks for seasons. Some will have them forever. And while our warriors look this way, what does Willowclan's look like.? All over some silly rocks, that Willowclan will fight for again. So many have lost their lives in the pointless battles over them." Sadness flickered in her large yellow eyes as she shared a glance with Frostpuddle. She knew the felines that Darkriver had taken with him, would not have showed any mercy. Her heart knew that the battle fought that day, had probably not been a good one.

Frostrose [Warrior][Molly][34 Moons] With; Emberpaw Where; In camp. Gazing down at the little tom, Frostrose couldn't help but purr lightly. He looked much like his brother, Pebblepaw, just a tad darker than him. As he spoke, the patrol returned back to camp. Immediately, Eaglestar was talking to Darkfire and Cherryfrost and Pebblepaw swarmed among the injured. She winced slightly as she gazed at the wounded. Touching her tail lightly to the tom, she murmured softly. "Darkriver is known for getting into trouble. They come back, baring the marks of our enemy. Which means there was a fight. Eaglestar didn't want a fight." She turned her blue eyes on the patrol, her black fur fluffing up as she heard that Sunning rocks was there's, once more. "Though it seems they have won us access to the rocks, once more." As she spoke, Emberpaw's mentor slipped into camp, though she settled a distance away from everyone else. "Maybe Cloudbreeze will take you out there on a better day. You apprentices haven't gotten the chance to enjoy the rocks. We haven't won the rocks in seasons."

The large tom moved closer, nosing her swollen belly happily. Eyes full of warmth and love, a rumbling purr echoed around them. "Why I hope they have my strength, I hope they have your brains. They will need them both in this life." Nuzzling her cheek, he flickered his ears up as Applenose addressed them, before slipping out of the nest. Eyes becoming curious, the tom turned and poked his head out of the nursery. His eyes widened at the sight of the injured warriors. Grunting, he shook his head. "Well, Stormslip. It seems your brother has taken things into his own paws, once more." β’β

β’ Clawstrike [Elder][Tom][112 Moons] With; Weaselsong Where; Elders den. As his mate returned, he lifted his head again, listening to her words. Shaking his head slightly, he only sighed. "I bet Snakevenom was a part of that fun." He snorted softly, as he mentioned his son who had become close to the deputy. "Sometimes I wonder why Eaglestar decided on him as deputy. He is too ambitious. Too blood-hungry to be the deputy." Digging into the prey Weaselsong brought him. He paused to bump his head against her shoulder in thanks, before turning his attention to Graypebble. "And before you argue, Graypebble. I know he is your son. But you must admit that he is too power-hungry to be leading this clan. Starclan knows, it is a blessing that Eaglestar has many seasons left in him."

Graypebble [Elder][Molly][87 Moons] With; The Elders Where; Elders Den Graypebble didn't flinch at Elmshade's words, she simply ran her tail along the elders spine. Shaking her head, she meowed thanks to Weaselsong, before scolding her denmate. "Elmshade. The polite thing to do, is thank her for gathering us prey." Nosing his cheek, she pushed the mole back to him. "Yes, we know you are capable. It's just a kind act. Not saying you can't. You grumpy mouse-brain." Yet, her attention snapped to Clawstrike as he brought up her son and a sharp hiss escaped her. She flattened her torn ears as she glared at the tom. His words left her digging her claws into the den floor. "Now thats enough of that. You know Darkfire is a loyal and brave tom. He is strong and capable of much. And he only ever puts us first." Eyes flashed as she challenged her denmates to argue with her. "Name one time he has done this clan wrong. He's only ever done what he believed was best for everyone."

βΏWillowclan Character'sβΏ ___________________________
Moonstar [Leader][Molly][55 Moons] With; -Open. Redthorn.? Where; Leader's Den.
As quickly as Moonstar had dismissed Speckpaw, her eyes clouded once more. She could faintly hear the voices of her clanmates, Redthorn's drifting to her the most. He was asking about her, which meant that the medicine cat apprentice had joined the other injured right away. Turning her head, she curled herself up so that her back was to the entrance of her den. Closing her eyes, she was immediately thrown back into the moment of her drowning. How much her lungs had burned as she struggled to free herself from Darkfire's grip. The way the world had started to fade away from her, her fight with the Gladeclan deputy, growing weaker and weaker until darkness completely engulfed her.
Yet, it was her moment with Starclan that had scared her the most. The looks of sadness that seemed to plaster their faces when she stood before them. Their eyes not meeting her panicked ones. The moment Foxstar had touched her nose to her's. She'd been thrown into a dark forest, where fire seemed to surround her, before she was jerked back to her body. Was that Starclan's warning that Darkfire would strike her again.? Or was it simply just the horror of being taken down by the blood-thirsty and ambitious tom.? She couldn't be sure, of what anything meant as she lay in her nest, eyes closed tightly.
Her lungs still rattled slightly with water, as she took a deep breath in. Giving a cough, she spit up water and dirt, before curling even tighter. Her chest still ached and her body was clumped and bloody. Yet, she didn't care. At that moment, she cared about nothing at all. Not herself. Not that they had lost Sunning Rocks. Not her clan. Nothing. Part of her wished Darkfire had ripped every last life away from her, so she didn't have to live through the memory of the life leaving her body as water filled her lungs.

β’ Eaglecry [Warrior][Tom][28 Moons] With; - Anyone. Where; Words go here. The relief that Eaglecry felt as his wounds were washed and coated with herbs and cobwebs, was one of greatness. The black and orange tom sighed softly and gently nosed his sister as she whimpered in response to Featherblossom. He purred softly at her, giving her encouragement, before curling into the nest just outside the medicine cats den. The poppy seeds were already starting to wear him out. Stretching his maw in a huge yawn, he murmured softly. "Get some rest after you are tended to, Duckpaw." His voice trailed off softly as he drifted into sleep. His body was covered more in herbs, than not. Yet, as he slept, his flank rose and fell softly, as if he felt no pain at all.

Sweetstorm [Queen][Molly][40 Moons] With; Hawkwhisper Where; Burying kits. At the way Redthorn dismissed them, Sweetstorm couldn't help but flatten her ears. Gray eyes glared at the burnt orange deputy, before she turned and leaned into her mate. Eyes saddening, she gave a nod and picked up the body of her kit, before nosing the other one to Hawkwhisper. Once they both had the kits in their maws, she turned and headed from the camp. Slinking towards the edge of Willowclan territory, near the mountains, Sweetstorm headed to the Cherry blossom and lilac burial grounds. The clan had designated the beautiful area to their fallen clanmates, as the sent of lilacs kept predator's away and the blossom tree draped over their graves.
Sadness thick in her eyes, she approached the area, before gently settling the little lifeless body down and scooping the dirt aside to dig a grave for her. After some time, and a good distance into the ground, she gently settled her kit into the gave, turning to Hawkwhisper to put Mistkit with Shadowkit. "Let's bury them together, so they can travel to Starclan as a pair. They will need each other on this journey." Her voice cracked as she spoke, and she hung her head. Why did Starclan curse her with the loss of two kits. Why did she deserve this burden of burying her family.? Yet, as he mind was heavy with grief, she thought of her two living kits at home. They were strong, stronger than any kits she had ever known. Especially little Thunderkit.
Lifting her gray eyes to the sky, the beautiful white, gray and orange queen spoke to the clouded sky. Her heart longed for Starclan to hear her, to be with her. "My ancestors, I ask you to lead Shadowkit and Mistkit to the stars to be with you. They never stood a chance in this cruel world, and I hope they find life and happiness with you." She broke off, a whimper filling the drizzly air around them. Leaning heavily into the white and orange tom beside her, she silently begged him to finish sending their children off. Her white paws were muddy and covered in dirt from digging.

β’ Featherblossom [Medicine Cat][Molly][65 Moons] With; Speckpaw-Injured. Where; Medicine Cat's Den Finishing up with Eaglecry, she gave him a gentle nudge towards the nest outside her den. It was more sheltered from the drizzling rain, a canopy of bracken and twigs twined together to form a shelter for any injured or sick clanmates. It was a section of her den that warriors had created many seasons ago so the medicine cats den could be left peaceful and clean and the injured and sick could still be close by. She was listening intently to Duckpaw and Eagelcry speak, her ear twitching slightly as Speckpaw approached them. Flickering her gray eyes on the curly furred black apprentice, she noticed the solemn look in his eyes and a simple shake of his head as Redthorn asked about Moonstar. A soft sigh escaped her maw as she moved in to inspect Duckpaw's injured leg. She gently cleaned it, before putting herbs and cobwebs where needed.
A soft voice in her ear caused her to turn and blink gently at Speckpaw. Shoving a bundle of herbs to the tom, she purred softly. "I want you to clean and treat Redthorn's wounds. I'm supposing that Moonstar told you to go away." She shook her head as she wrapped Duckpaw's paw up tightly, before turning back to Speckpaw. "Moonstar has always been stubborn, even as a warrior. She has told even myself to leave her be." Turning delicate, but mysterious eyes on the deputy, she grunted slightly. "She's fond of you, Redthorn. When your wounds are dressed, go and speak to her. Convince her to let us dress her wounds at least. This defeat must be hard on her." While she knew in her heart that the defeat had been much more than just some physical wounds, she didn't ask questions. A medicine cat knew when a leader lost a life. As if Starclan whispered the warning in the ear, before they were even informed by the leader themselves.
Finishing up with Duckpaw, she nosed the little brown and orange mackerel molly all over. Checking her over for anymore wounds, she seemed satisfied to find nothing serious. Giving her one poppy seed, she nudged her towards her brother. "Take that poppyseed and go rest beside Eaglecry. He will be grateful for your company. As with Eaglecry, you will be off of training until he heals. At least I know that little leg of yours will heal by then. I want to see your wounds every day to know they aren't getting infected. Tinypaw [Apprentice][Tom][6 Moons] With; Aspenpaw. Where; Camp. At the sound of Aspenpaw's voice, Tinypaw's brown ears flickered up with excitement. He patted the ground happily, waiting until she had sniffed him all over and then settled beside him. Licking his maw as the scent of the rabbit reached his nose, he looked at her with wide green/yellow eyes. A purr rose up as she chirped at him with a soft voice. She was clearly as cheerful as ever, something he enjoyed about her presence the most. Taking a bite of the rabbit, he chewed it quickly before swallowing the prey so he could answer her. "I know that Moonstar and Redthorn took Duckpaw and Eaglecry to check the Sunning rocks. They returned with wounds and defeat." He grunted slightly, shaking his head. "We lost Sunning Rocks. It's claimed by Gladeclan, once again. Such a shame. I loved the warmth of those rocks on a sunny day."
He blinked slightly, grateful that the orange and black tiger striped molly was so close. He could see clearly up close, but any more than half a fox-length away, and everything started to blend and blur together. Changing the subject, he nudged the rabbit to her. "Great catch! I assumed you were out hunting when I came back to camp and you weren't here." He purred lightly. "I was on a patrol with Lilypath and Feathersoul. Though, I'm sure Lilypath hated to have my mother around. I'm almost positive that's why she let me lead the patrol." His voice faded slightly and a look of defeat filled his eyes. He shrugged slightly. "I'm pretty sure she hates me and thinks I'm just a waste of time."
Waving a delicate little white paw in the air, his ears flattened slightly. "It's not my fault my eyes aren't the greatest, and I'm so little. But I do try! And I'm going to be a good warrior. I will! I swear!" Tinypaw didn't know exactly who he was trying to convince, his friend or himself.? He gave a sad sigh, before taking another bite of the rabbit. This time, the little brown and white apprentice chewed more slowly to prevent himself from blabbering on anymore. Duckpaw would never notice him when he was so tiny and useless in so many's eyes.

Understanding the worry that seemed to spark from the brown and white warrior, Nightfeather turned large amber eyes around them. Moonstar was no where to be seen, yet her scent was hanging in the air. It was fresh, as well as the mix of the rest of her patrol and blood. Nudging Sagefur gently, she flicked her bushy tail to where Speckpaw left the leaders den and joined his mentor. "She must be in her den. Speckpaw was just in there." She paused to take in the situation around her before purring lightly. "Moonstar is tough, she will be alright. Probably injured, but safe. She has lives left to give Willowclan. No one can take her down that easily."
As Lilypath stormed past them in a fit to be joined by her friend, Redwillow, Nightfeather simply snorted her laughter all over again. Shaking her head in amusement, she too licked her paw and drew it over her black and orange face. "You'd think she would have gotten the hint by now. I can only wonder how he hasn't flat out told her no. She just doesn't get it. He's too kind." She gazed at the red somali deputy as Speckpaw dressed his wounds. For a moment, a shiver ran down her body. The members of the dawn patrol were covered in deep wounds, wounds that showed no mercy. Her amber eyes turned to her friend beside her once more. Thanking Starclan that he had been with her and not with the patrol that had been fighting over Sunning Rocks. Relief was clear in her eyes as she gazed at him,

β’ Redwillow [Warrior][Molly][30 Moons] With; Lilypath Where; Returning to camp. While her apprentice dragged a rabbit almost as big as her into camp. She watched her take it to the apprentices den where Tinypaw's tail had disappeared. A soft purr rose up in her throat as she headed into camp and dropped her own prey, two squirrels, on to the freshkill pile. She had entered just in time to see her best friend, Lilypath being chased away from an injured Redthorn, by their medicine cat. A snort of amusement escaped her at the agitated and solemn look that was painted across the pretty calico's face. Shaking her head, the beautiful red molly turned from the pile of prey and padded up to her friend.
"Getting yourself into trouble with being up Redthorn's tail, are ya.?" Her sweet and teasing voice filled the air as she spoke to Lilypath. Settling beside the other warrior, she touched her gently with her tail to give her some form of comfort. A sigh escaped her white maw as she confronted her friend. "I wish you would just see that Redthorn isn't the one for you, Lily. It's not worth all the trouble." While her friend had gone off on her own patrol that morning, Redwillow had followed her apprentice out to watch her skills. While Aspenpaw hadn't known she was watching, the mentor had been proud of the skills she showed when scenting, stalking and then catching the rabbit that was quite large.

Sparrowfeather [Warrior][Tom][68 Moons] With; Mudfern Where; Warriors Den
When Mudfern had jumped up at the sight of the injured patrols, Sparrowfeather had tapped him back down with his thin brown tail. A knowing look filled his eyes as he watched the clearing explode into action. "Now Mudfern, they need to be tended to before we bother anyone." His large ears pricked up and her overheard Eaglecry speaking to Hawkwhisper, before the warrior and his mate disappeared from the camp with their lifeless kits. Sadness prickled in his eyes at the sight of them, before he shook his head. "Well, that's no good. I wonder what truly happened at those rocks." He couldn't help but think of the haunted and clouded look in Moonstar's eyes, and the defeat in the rest of the patrols. "This isn't some normal defeat. Moonstar doesn't ever just go and hide in her den."

Though she chose to settle outside the den and listen and watch the choas in the clearing. Holding on to the fish she carried, she patted the ground for Sparrowpaw to sit with her. "Come on Sparrowpaw. Let's eat. We'll be needed for patrols, I'm sure. Now that Redthorn, Duckpaw and Eaglecry are injured. Featherblossom won't want them going out."
Taking a bite of the fish, she watched with side wide eyes as Hawkwhisper and Sweetstorm left the camp. Flicking the white tom beside her, she pointed after them. "Poor Hawkwhisper and Sweetstorm..They lost two kits." She sighed softly, finishing her bite of fish and pushing it towards her brother. While there was sadness in the camp, she couldn't help but be happy with the day they had. She'd gotten to patrol and fish with Sparrowpaw, which they didn't always get to do.

"Warriors getting themselves into trouble, like always." She finished off her mouse, before licking her white paws. "I remember when you all were apprentices. You were just as big of a handful as any of them are now-adays."
She flashed Spruceripple and Flamestreak a look as if her blind eyes could actually see the two siblings. "You pair were the biggest troublemakers this clan saw when you were younger. Trying to keep you two out of trouble, was like trying to tell a badger they can't have a home." She chuckled lightly, flicking her tiny mis-matched ears. "I still couldn't believe it the day you became deputy, Flamestreak. I always thought it would be your sister, not you one day. Starclan knows that you proved us all wrong. You are one of the best deputies, this clan has ever known." She nudged him warmly, before patting a gentle paw at Spruceripple.

Scrambling to his paws, he eyed the entrance to the den, growling lightly. His chest burned, not from the wounds, but for the state his fellow warriors were in. They had lost sunning rocks, his leader had lost a life, and the warriors that were with him had lost the battle, leaving with scares that some of them would bare for the rest of their life. As Speckpaw made his way back out of the Den where he had spoken to Featherblossom. Lowering his head to be at the same level as the young apprentice, he offered a smile to the sweet young cat. "Speckpaw." He mewed nicely. "I know Featherblossom sent you out here to check on my wounds, but right now, I would like to go check on Moonstar. I know she shooed you away, but I promise I will stop by the den before the day is over to get my wounds looked at. Deal?" He mewed, his voice smooth. Speckpaw was so young, and this was first time working with wounded warriors, so the large deputy was careful not the crush the little Medicine Cats hopes. After all, he had just witnessed Sweetstorms kitting, and by the looks of things, it had not gone very smoothly. Watching as the apprentice turned away, once again, he sighed and left to go to his leaders den. "Moonstar?" he called, his voice barely above a whisper. The beautiful grey she-cat was laying in such a way that her body looked so still, his heart began to race. Was she breathing? Shuffling quickly to get into her den all the way, he sniffed her flank. She was alive, but she definitely didn't look like it. Aggressively, the tom shoved his nose under her head. "Moonstar." the red tom demanded. "Get up. Please." He mewed. He was afraid that her wounds were too much for her to bare and his best friend as losing another life. Duckpaw || Eaglecry Outside the Medicine Cats DenAs the medicine cat banded her leg with twigs and covered it with a poultice of herbs for the wounds, she felt as though she could breath again. Letting out a cough, the warrior hacked out a large hair ball, but not her own hair, the hair of the apprentice that she had scored across the face. Recoiling, she batted the ball away from where she sat and into the plants that engulfed the camp. Eaglecrys groggy voice snapped her attention back to him. "You get more rest than me, okay?" She mewed, licking her mentors head as she limped her way back to the Apprentices den. Nodding to the other apprentices that were in there, she took her place in her nest, laying down. Her injured leg jutted out out awkwardly. Sighing, she thought to herself of how the fight had went and how she could've done things different. All too soon, her dreams filled her head, making her worlds away from the Willowclan camp. Hawkwhisper || Sweetstorm Outside Burying Kits
The big warrior followed his mate as the pair of them headed to the well known burial ground of Willowclan. With each step, he felt his heart break a little more. Although his heart was breaking, the anger that burned from the way the two were so simply dismissed from their deputy made his paws want to run and never return. Blinking through his tears. As Sweetstorm and him approached, she began to dig. Following her mates instructions to bury them together, the tom dug his claws in. Placing the kit safely in a soft pile of petals from the tree itself, tears leaving little wet spots on their pure fur. Sniffing his tears away, he licked his mates shoulder. "They are on their way to Starclan as we speak. Lets take our vigil here since the clan is too busy with other things." The words fell like stones from his mouth. Never did he think he was going to have to bury two of his kits, he always said he would have the healthiest family Willowclan had ever seen, and now here he was, burying two who never even got the chance. As Hawkwhisper sat in silence out of respect for the kits he was never able to meet. Lost in thought as his side was pressed against Sweetstorm, the tom couldn't help but replay the conversation he had with the deputy. Redthorn seemed disheaveled, and Moonstar was no where to be found after they returned. What happened while they were over there? Why was whatever happened more important than the loss of his kits? Frowning, he laid down, tucking his legs under his body and closed his eyes, willing starclan to accept his kits with welcoming paws.
Sagefur || Nightfeather Sitting in Camp Sagefur shuffled his large paws. Although he was impenetrable on the outside, the tom always felt as though he was drowning in his thoughts. He never had anyone to confide in, more like he never wanted to confide in anyone.... so he was a victim to himself most days. Sagefur pointed his ears towards Moonstars den. There was no sounds coming from her den, even though Speckpaw had just left. Feeling his heart flutter in anxiety, he sighed. "I'm sure she is just fine. Any cat would need a rest after a battle like that it looks like.. Those wounds are pretty bad..." His voice trailed off attempting to comfort himself. Honestly, the mischievous tom was not sure why he was so concerned with Moonstar and her leaving. She had been his leader since he was a young apprentice, the one who gave him his warrior name, but other than that, he had no heart strings attached to her.
Mentally deciding to think of something else, Even though Sagefur was a tall cat and strong in battle, he found himself counting his lucky stars that he had not been chosen to go with that patrol to sunning rocks. Shaking his fur out, he stood to his paws, catching Nightfeather's sweet and comforting glance. Laughing at the way Lilypath made a fool of herself everyday, the tom decided to sit. "Are you hungry?" He asked, eyeing the fresh kill pile. His tummy rumbled loudly. Aspenpaw || Tinypaw Apprentices Den Aspenpaw giggled at the smaller apprentices excitement over the fresh kill she had managed to drag through the woods into the den. At the mention of the lost piece of land that Willowclan now wore the marks for, her giggles and purrs stopped. "I'm not sure why Moonstar thought that was even a good idea in the first place with the river being as high as it was... I'm just glad everyone made it out with their lives. A piece of land is not more important that a life." She mewed. Aspenpaw had an odd way of sounding like an elder at times, her young mind filled with an odd amount of wisdom for how little she has actually gotten to experience in life. "Regardless, I'm sure every one will feel the sting of the loss, it was a wonderful place to warm my paws..." The little stripped cat whispered, her little body resting in the soft moss, her little paws tucking under her belly. Noticing how Tinypaw's purr seemed to erupt from his chest once he realized how close she was, the little she-cat pressed her fur into his flank, feeling the small cats warmth. Size never mattered to her, it was the heart that she was drawn too, and Tinypaw's heart could be the size of the moon. Aspenpaw held a soft spot for Tinypaw in her heart, not because he was small, but because He was so strong willed and determined. He always seemed to reach any goal, regardless of how many times he had to try, he never gave up. Shaking her head to free herself from her infatuation, she blinked slowly at him. He had been rambling about his mentor and mother again. "Lilypath is mean to everyone Tinypaw, I think she's too engulfed with her love with the deputy for her to even have the space to think about other things. Its not what you do wrong, Tinypaw, its her." Aspenpaw felt so bad that of all apprentices, Tinypaw was given to Lilypath. The she-cat was known for her impatience and anger, and for Moonstar to give her an apprentice was just shocking. "There are things you could learn from her though. She is very strong, and she doesn't let others change her mind. Those are good traits as long as you use them right." She sighed and licked her little friend on the head. "I get it though, it stinks." Perking her ears up at his last comment, she locked eyes with him. "You will be the greatest cat this clan has ever seen." She purred, butting his head with hers in happiness. Speckpaw || Momentarily open Mentions Redthorn, and Featherblossom Medicine Cats Den Speckpaw watched as Featherblossom dressed Duckpaws wounds while also caring softly for the wounded deputy and fallen warrior, Eaglecry. Feeling slightly overwhelmed with the sight of how well she was able to switch from soft to stern and nurturing to instructive, Speckpaw swallowed hard, he had big paw prints to fill when he was to be medicine cat, although no one could ever replace Feather. Blinking softly as Duckpaw mewed her thanks to the Medicine Cats and took her place beside her brother to rest, Speckpaw left to tend to Redthorn.
Speckpaw, his jaw filled with the herbs for Moonstar and Redthorn, looked a little funny padding up to the deputy, his paw steps large and over compensated for what he was carrying in his mouth, and his head sideways to keep the juices from touching his tongue. It was an art, being able to carry a mix of herbs, and Speckpaw had very obviously not learned that yet.
Redthorn had seen him coming. Speckpaw sighed as the deputy turned him away once again. Speckpaw shot a desperate glance to his mentor, his eyes filled with frustration from being turned away for a third time from the warriors who needed herbs for their wounds. Before Speckpaw could even open his mouth to protest, Redthorn gently nosed him aside and took himself back to Moonstars den. Maybe he would convince her to let the Medicine Cats look over her. Shaking his head and spitting, the juices from the herbs leaving a bitter taste in his mouth regardless of how much he tried keeping it from happening, the tom shuffled back to the safety of the den. No one needed him right now, and after being turned away so many times, the little apprentice needed a few moments to gather himself.
Lilypath || Redwillow Pouting in CampLilypath flattened her ears at the rebuke, not only from the Medicine Cat, but Redthorn himself. Feeling her fur grow warm with the eyes of the cats watching, she narrowed her gaze. Didn't these cats have something better to do than to stand there and watch another cat get shamed for trying to help the wounded warriors? Huffing, she found herself sulking beside the warriors den, her head low. What was their problem? She just wanted to make sure Redthorn was alright. Those cuts looked horrible. In her defense, she would have checked on the others as well, but they were busy talking to other cats or getting treated. Sighing again, her eyes drifted to her close friend, Redwillow who had just returned from a patrol. Making a mocking face at the beautiful she-cat, she scoffed. "When am I not." She joked. She knew every day that she tried winning Redthorns heart someone was judging her from afar. "I wish you would just see that Redthorn isn't the one for you, Lily. It's not worth all the trouble." The words of her friend stung, making Lilypath blink in surprise. Redwillow was always honest with her, but this time, it was a bit much. Letting out a little snarl, she stepped aside. "Excuse you." She spat quietly. "Redthorn will admit his feelings for me one day. You just wait. If he didn't want me, he would have told me up front already. He just doesnt want to hurt Moonstars feelings." She huffed, looking down at her paws. He would though, wouldn't he?
Mudfern || Sparrowfeather In Camp Chit-ChattingMudfern sat down slowly, his eyes drifting from cat to cat. The wounds were deep, and the grief they all wore was even deeper. Looking at his brother, he whispered. "Good grief... What do you think happened?" Looking back up, curling his tail around his paws, the large brown tom cocked his head. Moonstar had been the last one to enter the camp, and with how she carried herself, the air turned thick. "Do you think she lost a life?" He whispered, his voice so low that Sparrowfeather could barely hear him. Watching as the Medicine Cats tended to the cats, and Moonstar sulked to her den without words, his ears twitched. So much was happening, and by the looks of it, Moonstar didn't want anything to do with help. Letting out a sigh, he lowered himself down. "I wonder if Darkfire was involved..." Swallowpaw || Willowpaw Outside Apprentices Den
Swallowpaw eyed Willowpaw as she chose to sit next to him. "I don't want to go out on patrol. What if we get attacked like they did?" Fear laced the little toms voice. He was small, and his eyesight was more of a battle than anything for him. Shaking his head, he laid down, curling his paws under him. "Do you really think I could be a warrior one day? I mean, look at me. Im not much better than Tinypaw..." The toms voice was a little too loud for how close he was to the den where Tinypaw and Aspenpaw had been eating their meal. Swallowpaw wasn't very good at thinking before he spoke, and this time, it was loud. Eveningeye || Lilacdawn, Flamestreak, SprucerippleElders Den Eveningeye scoffed at Lilacdawns words. "I don't know who you're thinking about Lilacdawn, but I was never like that." The old warriors words were always sad, but this time, there was a hint of joking in it. "I think if we were there when you were a well built warrior, Lilacdawn, we would be surprised with how much you were a handful. I mean, look at you know." The little tom let out a laugh. Listening as the others began to lash out in honest jest, the elders began to nibble on his food. Scrunching his face, the tom spat out a mouthful of fur. Eyes wide as he focused on what he was chewing on, he jumped. Eveningeye had taken a large chunk of fur right out of Flamestreaks tail. "Mouse brain!" He spat at himself. Spruceripple || Eveningeye, Lilacdawn, Flamestreak Elders DenSpruceripple laughed loudly at Lilacdawn words. "I was no such handful! There was only a pawful of times I got stuck in the dirt." She giggled, shoving her shoulder into her brother. The time she spoke of was the time when they were apprentices, when they were instructed to clean out the dirt place and the two some how faceplanted in a large toms fresh dirt, leaving them smelling like stink for weeks. "We had to sleep outside the camp for four nights, I'll never forget that!" She giggled. Turning somber, the elder lowered her head. "No one died, calm down. They were just hurt. Some of the wounds they wore will be there until they join Starclan." She muttered. Gasping as Flamestreak jumped and Eveningeye hissed, her fur all fluffed up, she dodged a paw as flew towards the other elder. "Whoa!" She yelped. "What in the world is going on" She laughed.

Eaglestar || Darkfire Just inside campEagelstars ears were flat against his head as Cherryfrost ordered their conversation to be spoken at a later time, the heat in his paws making his tongue want to snap at the medicine cat. Who am I to be ordered like that? With flashing eyes, Eaglestar watched as Cherry looked Darkfire up and down. The deputy wore deep marks down his chest, yet he seemed totally unfazed from the wounds he wore like a collar. As the deputy turned away from the help of Cherryfrost, his head lowered as he spoke to him once more. hearing the words fall smoothly from his deputies mouth, his ears perked. "You went out and got sunning rocks back?" He echoed, his mind swirling. There was a pit in his stomach that made him not want to trust his deputies words, but the words of his mate that she had spoken to him earlier echoed even louder. Darkfire had never outwardly disobeyed him, and getting Sunning Rocks back for the whole of Gladeclan was not a wrongdoing in anyway, more so, it was a victory. Letting out a loud sigh as his eyes scanned the patrol that had went with Darkfire, a tingling in his paws made his heart flutter. He was not a huge fan of the cats he had taken with him, their demeanor and the way they carried themselves made his paws itch, but his son, oh his precious son. Nodding his head to his deputy, he spoke finally. "You have done a great service Darkfire, and the whole of Gladeclan should and will be thankful that we have our beloved Sunning Rocks back. You will be rewarded." The words that Eaglestar spoke came out a lot less enthusiastic than he had hoped, but nonetheless, it was true. Gladeclan fought every moon for those rocks, and Darkfire was right and smart to go out in the storm to get them back. After all, no lives were lost, so where was the harm. Turning away, dismissing the large deputy with a simple flick of the tail, Eaglecry turned over to Mysticpaw who was doing his best to be proud and strong though the blood falling from his wounds was bone aching. "Mysticpaw." Eaglestar spoke softly now, his body leaning against his little apprentice kit. "You fought so well today according to Darkfire. You ought to be proud of yourself." Eaglestar had no idea of the things that went down at the fight, and he could care less at the moment. His son was hurting, and it hurt him to see Mysticpaw so uncomfortable. "Where is your sister? Is she alright?" He asked, looking around. Cherryfrost || Snakevenom & Darkfire Inside Camp helpingCherryfrost flicked her tail at Eagelstar, his irritation radiating like waves off his body at her dismissal. shaking her fur to get his irritation off of her, she turned to Darkfire. "Good Starclan, Darkfire, these wounds are deep. What did you do, try to drown a cat?" The beautiful Medicine Cat laughed, blissfully unaware of the truth behind the words she had spoken. Nonetheless, Darkfire had remained stoic and unfased by Cherryfrosts words. Looking up at Darkfire as he gently moved her to the side, she frowned. What was with warriors not wanting to get their wounds treated? Huffing loudly as Darkfire returned to Eaglestar, she shook her head. I wonder if Willowclan are as stubborn as my warriors. She hissed to herself. Turning to be beside her apprentice as Pebblepaw worked on Snakevenom, she cocked her head as the large warriors lip curled. Snapping her tail in his face to warn him that others could see the disgust on his face, she narrowed her eyes. "Your distaste is evident Snakevenom, but I suggest you keep it to yourself before you cause more trouble than you can handle." no other cats were close enough to hear the words she snarled in the scary warriors ears, all except her apprentice, but she didn't care. Pebblepaw was going to have to learn to watch the cats, not only in health, but also in attitude. It was their duty as Healers to keep the clan from falling apart just as much as it was the leaders job. Turning away as he spoke of Mysticpaw, she nodded. "Eaglestar. I hate to bother you again, but I would like to take a look at Mysticpaws wounds, he seems to be wearing them pretty heavily. You may continue your conversation though, I wont shoo you away again." She jested, knocking her leaders shoulder with her own. Crouching down to become face to face with Mysticpaw, looking over his wounds with care filled eyes. "Goodness, whoever you fought with must have been lucky to get such a catch on you." She mewed, picking through her little pile of herbs, looking for something to soothe Mysticapaws eyes. Chewing up some celandine poppy, making it into a pulp to be dripped into the apprentices eye, she grimiced. "It might sting a little, but it will help with the eyes pain and irritation." Dabbing some water soaked moss, she dripped some onto the wounds, flushing them out before dabbing on gobs of cobwebs. "There. If the pain gets to be too much or the cobwebs get soiled with the bleeding, come see me immedietly for some replacements. Do you understand?" She mewed, licking the little warrior on the head. "Eaglestar, Your gonna have a few new strong warriors on your paws here in a few moons." She praised her leader. Mysticpaw was a good cat, and she couldnt have been more proud of the way he carried himself. "Pebblepaw, once your finished with Snake and Splashfury, come to the den to restock with me please." She mewed as she turned away to her den.
Mousepaw || Applenose Apprentices DenSlipping into her nest, tears fell from her eyes as she forced them closed. The den was empty, thankfully. The little apprentice recalled what happened at the Rocks and how Mysticpaw defended Darkfire over her, sending her into a downward spiral. She couldn't help but replay the fight in her mind. Moonstars eyes flashing helplessly as Darkfire held her under the water, Splashfury's blood curling laugh, Mysticpaw tackling her off the rocks to protect Darkfire. Letting out a muffled whine, movement at the entrance stopped her. Blinking through the tears to see more clearly, the blurry image of her mother came into view. "Hi mom." She sniffled. She was so thankful for her mother being there with her. Nussling deep into her warm side, the smell of milk filling her senses, calimg her aching heart. If Mysticpaw had betrayed her, at least her mother was still with her. Mousepaw spoke, not lifting her head from her mothers belly. "Im alright. I dont know about Mysticpaw. I didn't wait to see. Darkfire won Sunning Rocks back, but hurt the Willowclan warriors badly." The last words barely made it out of her mouth before the tears and weeping began again. She didn't have the heart to tell her mother what had actually happened at the fight and how she watched as Darkfire pushed Moonstar under the water, how she watched the life seep from the opposing clan leaders body. Trembling once more, she wept, soaking the spot where her face was buried in her mothers fur with her kitten like tears. "I don't want to be a warrior anymore." She wailed. Frostpuddle || Spiderpaw In the Camps entranceFrostpuddle huffed, letting Snake know to move his large tail out of the way so the cats getting soaked in the rain could come into the camp. Once the starkly warrior moved, and she was inside, she shook out her fur, making sure to send the water droplets all over Snakes nearly dry fur. Hissing at his before turning to Spiderpaw, she narrowed her eyes. The cats who were on patrol reeked of blood, but from Willowclan more than their own. Breathing heavily, she couldn't help but wonder what had actually happened on their patrol, and how she was thankful that she wasn't on it. Letting out a purr, careful not to crush Spiderpaws positive outlook, she licked the little black apprentice on the head. "You are right! We shall go once the weather cooperates. After all, you've earned a day off from all your hard work." She loved having the little apprentice by her side most days, her happiness and willingness to work hard proving that she would be most useful in the warriors den with the others. As Cloudbreeze joined the two, her heavy words filled her ears. "She is right though, Spiderpaw, as a warrior, you must choose your battles wisely, and choosing any battle with Darkfire would not be the smartest..." She whispered the last words spoken about Gladeclans deputy. It was never okay to speak so heavily of those in leadership, but Darkfire was.. different... Turning to sit right beside Spiderpaw, to watch the patrol get treated, her eyes momentarily locked with Darkfires. Her ears perked up as she held his gaze, her eyes wide. Something danced around in the pit of her stomach as she large deputies eyes danced around her beautiful face. Once he turned away to speak with Eaglestar, she looked at the ground, confusion coursing through her. What the heck was that? Why were her paws itching and her fur getting all warm? She despised Darkfire and his blood thirsty attitude. What felt like minutes ended up only being seconds. Glancing at Spiderpaw to see if she had seen what had just happened, relief washed through her. Spiderpaw was too bus grooming herself dry to pay attention. Sighing, she began to help, licking Spiderpaws fur up to get the water out. Articflame || Cloudbreeze Inside Camp now
Articflames paws felt heavy as the two entered camp once more. He questioned himself everyday since Darkfire was named deputy over him, but like a good warrior, he took it in stride. Who was he to challenge the second largest cat in the clan anyway. Fighting with Darkfire for the position of deputy would be useless, the warrior seemed to fight with the whole power of Starclan, so any cat who stood against him never stood a chance. Sighing, the heaviness from Cloud rolledhttps://i.pinimg.com/originals/00/77/6e/00776ec0bbcceca3dc4264a89d0c09ec.jpg off her and onto him. Once inside the camp again, he felt his stomach drop at the sight of the patrol. Nodding to Frostpuddle and Spiderpaws patrol, he sat down with them. Cloudbreeze was right. What actually happened with the patrol on Sunning Rocks? The wounds they wore were far to great for a simple little squeamish, surely Eaglestar wasn't so bind that he couldn't see that.... Shaking his head once more, Articflame let out a loud sigh. "What's done is done, and sitting here wondering about it all wont help anything. Starclan will make known what happened sooner or later." Articflame held the truth knowing that his leaders in the after life would look out for them one way or the other, and the truth would eventually come out. "Would anyone life some fresh kill? It is getting late and my paws are tired."
Emberpaw || Frostrose Inside CampEmberpaw frowned. Darkfire seemed like he was the strongest cat in the whole of Gladeclan, was he supposed to hate him for that? Frowning at Frostrose's words, he shuffeled in his uncomfort. "Eagelstar didn't want them to fight for what was ours? Im confused. Darkfire went out and fought with Willowclan to get the rocks back for us... Its obvious by their wounds that the Willowclan cats put up a fight, but would Eaglestar not have done the same?" He asked, innocence lighting his eyes in curiosity. The way Darkfire carried himself with confidence always made Emberpaw envy him, but the little apprentice was blissfully unaware of how much trouble the Deputy was going to cause, or had already caused. At the mention of going to the rocks, Emberpaw changed his conversation. "I've never been to Sunning Rocks!" He squeaked, happiness seeping through his eyes. Emberpaw had always been so unaware of the bad in cats and situations, and some times, that was an amazing trait to have, but in this very moment, someone would have to break the little toms heart to get him to understand how much Darkfire was not as good as he thought. Stormslip || Rushingfire nurserySitting in the nursery with the other queens and now her mate, made things a lot more cramped than what they were a few mere moments before. Regardless of the lack of space, she was thankful that her mate made the effort to come in and lay with her. Nuzzling his head as the two imagined the kits and what they would be like, her mind wondered as the two sniffed the scent of the warriors wearing the marks of other cats. Stiffing her legs, she sat up. Darkfire had returned, and Rushingfires words were nothing but the truth. He had more than likely caused trouble again. "Walk with me?" She mewed, stepping over him to head outside the nursery. Blinking in the sun light that danced around camp with the evening sun, her eyes momentarily burned. The dim light of the nursery where she had been for the past several days was a lot more comfortable than the harsh sun in the camp. Padding up to Darkfire, she swiped at his ears. "A word?" she demanded, her ears flat against her head. The wounds he wore were far too deep for a simple border fight, confirming her fears that he had done things bad, again. Weaslesong || Clawstrike Elders DenWeaslesong laid back down in her nest, its warmth soothing her old bones, making her eyes want to close in sleep. Blinking tiredly at her mate, Clawstrike, she nodded her head. "I think the whole clan wonders why he chose Darkfire over Articflame. Im sure the poor warrior is so hurt over that as well, thought Articflame handles it very well." The old warrior mewed. Another thought crossed her mind. "Although, is Darkfire was not meant to be deputy, don't you think Starclan would have rejected him when he went to speak with them?" She wondered, crossing her paws in front of her and resting her head on her paws. But again, why would Starclan allow such a blood thirsty cat to be in power? Maybe it was to teach Eaglestar and the whole of Gladeclan a lesson. Sighing the elder closed her eyes. Elmshade || Elders Elders DenElmshade huffed as Greypebble corrected him. He was well aware that it was an act of kindness, but the feeling of helplessness that came with the help of others cats made his chest burn in anger. Taking a sassy bite of the mouse, the tom chewed loudly. His head snapped up as Clawstrike and Elmshade spoke of Darkfire, knowing very well that his mother, Greypebble would not agree. Laughing quietly to himself, he ran his tail down Greys spine. "Now Grey, we all know that every warrior has the same battle at some point in their warrior life between good and evil, and while I think Darkfire is a very loyal and strong cat, I think he has reached the point in his warrior life that he must make the same decision that we all had to make at some point, but he is not doing so quietly, which is why half the clan looks in disgust. You raised an amazing tom." Elmshade only spoke truth, but deep down in his gut, he knew that Darkfire was no good, but it was useless to fight with Greypebble about the truth of her sons actions, and by the looks of it, those actions were not so great today.

βΏWillowclan Character'sβΏ ___________________________
Moonstar [Leader][Molly][55 Moons] With; -Open. Where; Leader's Den.
The sun had risen and fallen three times since the dreadful day one of her lives had been ripped out of her viciously. Not one member of the clan had been able to approach the deeply haunted leader and get away without a snarl or two. The first night, she'd turned both the medicine cats away, not allowing either to heal her wounds. That same night, she'd snarled at Redthorn, forcing the deputy to leave her den. When he'd returned later, she demanded he join the warrior's in their den, 'Where he belonged', as Moonstar had stated. The second sunrise, young Tinypaw had tried to bring her prey to eat. With a hiss and a swat of her paw, she sent the mouse flying and sent the tom scurrying from her den. That evening, Duckpaw had returned with a squirrel, while Speckpaw had returned to treat her wounds. She'd chased both apprentices from her den, before turning around and curling up in her nest.
She hadn't moved since that moment, as time ticked by, she just stared blankly at the dirt wall of her den. Her usually beautifully groomed and silky brown and gray fur was now clumped together. Blood and dirt was still caked among her chest and flank. Her stomach rumbled, as she hadn't eaten since the night before the fight with Gladeclan. Yet, the molly felt nothing but a deep sickness in the pit of her stomach. The thought of eating a thing, made her ears flatten.
A rustling at the den entrance made her ears flicker and Moonstar turned blank green eyes towards the opening to her den. For a moment, she didn't recognize the shape lumbering towards her. Then, recognition sparked in her eyes. Clouded blind eyes seemed to find her immediately and the thick scent of mice and herbs filled her senses. Immediately, anger burned in Moonstar and she flattened her ears.

β’ Lilacdawn [Elder][Molly][150 Moons] With; Moonstar-Clan Where; Camp. "Good morning, Moonstar." The soft greeting was mumbled around the bundle of herbs and the mouse she carried her her jaws. Slipping carefully into the den the blind elder locked her blind eyes on the molly, as if she could see her. Setting down the bundle that she carried, she nudged the mouse towards her leader. She could sense the molly's tension and couldn't help but feel her own fur prickle. She'd heard every member of her clan complaining about Moonstar and her behavior towards her clanmates.
"Leave. Lilacdawn. I don't want anything to eat and I don't need any herbs. You can tell Featherblossom and Redthorn that I am fine and I don't want to be bothered."
The words were spoken as if ice was dropping from the molly's maw. The tension grew, but Lilacdawn pushed on. Setting a small white paw on Moonstar's flank, she purred softly. "Come on, Moonstar. You have to eat. It's been three sunrises since the battle. Your fur is matted and still bloody. You'll get an infection." Leaning forward, the elder went to draw her tongue over the leader's side when a hiss sounded. Moonstar's breath inches from her nose. Stumbling back, she moved closer to the entrance, ears flattened. "Now. That's enough. You can't keep pushing everyone away. You are being no lea.." Her words were cut short as quick movement sounded and Moonstar's paw smacked down on her scrunched face. A squeak escaped Lilacdawn and she backed out of the den quickly, Moonstar quick on her paws. Bursting from the leader's den, the calico Persian struggled to get her paws straight. Her senses clouded as claws swiped at her hindquarters. All of a sudden, the ground felt like it dropped from beneath her as she stumbled over her own paws and wrenched her shoulder. A yelp of pain burst from her as pain shot through her right shoulder and her chin connected with the ground. Gasping for breath, her head spun, even in the darkness that had become familiar to her.
"I said to leave!" The snarl exploded behind her as Moonstar's scent wreathed around her. Flinching, Lilacdawn was almost sure her leader was about to claw her pelt off. Ducking her head, she felt her body shaking from the fear and pain that overtook her body.

β’ Featherblossom [Medicine Cat][Molly][65 Moons] With; Speckpaw- Where; Medicine Cat's Den Crouching beside her apprentice, Featherblossom shoved the leftover herbs into their respectful places. She had pulled out a pawful of herbs to give to Lilacdawn, who had insisted on trying to coax Moonstar into letting her treat her wounds. A deep sigh escaped the medicine cat as she glanced over at the curly furred tom beside her. She blinked warm gray eyes at the black tom, before speaking up. "Have you had anymore of those dreams about that prophecy.?" It'd been a few sunrises since the birth of Hawkwhisper's and Sweetstorm's kits. Her fur still itched with anxiety as she thought of the storm that raged the night the kits were born, the prophecy ringing in her ears. She'd pushed it aside, with the chaos of losing two of Sweetstorm's kits and of Moonstar falling deeper into the depths of darkness. While her apprentice had a vision with the prophecy, Featherblossom had only heard hints of the prophecy in the breeze. Her mind burned with curiosity at the meaning and she wondered what it meant for Willowclan.
Before Speckpaw could answer her, snarls and yelps of pain exploded from the main clearing. Whipping around, Featherblossom burst out of her den. Her eyes wide and her fur bristling, she came upon a scene that horrified her. Moonstar towered over Lilacdawn, who crouched beneath her with flat ears and bristling fur. Moonstar's teeth were bared and her claws out, she looked as if she would attack the injured Elder, who was favoring her leg. "Someone stop her!" Featherblossom commanded with disbelief as she hurried to Lilacdawn's side.

βΏGladeclan Character'sβΏ
___________________________
Darkfire [Deputy][Tom][45 Moons] With; Eaglestar Where; Camp. "I'm telling you, Eaglestar. Your son fought like a true warrior. He deserves his warrior name. I know he's only 11 moons and most have to wait until their 12th moon, but it has happened in the past. Apprentices have been made warriors if they really prove themselves." It'd only been a few sunrises since the battle at the Sunning rocks. Darkfire had led the patrol and won the warm sunning spot back after many moons of Willowclan staking their claim over them. He'd taken his most trusted companions with him. One's that would follow his every move or keep their mouths shut in the process. Not one of them had spoken of what went down that eventful morning, only simply stating that they had won the rocks back.
The past few sunrises, Darkfire had spent each morning in the same argument with his leader. He insisting that Mysticpaw deserved his warrior name and Eaglestar stating it was too soon and he would receive his warrior name with his sister. The thought of Mousepaw was like a bit of crow- food stuck in his throat. While Mysticpaw had easily fallen into his paw-hold, the daughter of the 'great leader' himself, was a thorn in his side. The little gray and white molly was nothing but a rock, holding Mysticpaw down from greatness.
Giving his head a frustrated shake, he paced in front of his leader, black and orange fur ruffling up as his large paws scuffed the ground. Dark green eyes pierced Eaglestar's pale green eyes as he went on. "He bares the scars of a true warrior. And while that little Willowclan molly left her clawmarks across his face, he still fought bravely." While he wished to mention the white apprentice stopping his own sister from attacking Darkfire, he knew better than to bring up the incident. It would only raise questions from the brown and white tom before him.

Mysticpaw [Apprentice][Tom][11 Moons] With; Mousepaw Where; Camp. Pushing his way into the clans camp, Mysticpaw followed his mentor as they padded up to the fresh-kill pile. Both carried a large squirrel in their jaws, tails held high. Splashfury had taken him out every morning since the morning they won the sunning rocks back. She'd pushed him to keep up on his battle skills, showing him more lethal moves with the help of Snakevenom and Darkfire. The large white tom had grown even in the few days since the battle. He now stood tall beside his mentor, muscles moving beneath his flank. The scratches that now scarred his face, glistened in the sunlight, pink and missing fur to reveal such nasty marks. Yet, he wore the marks of his enemy proudly, strutting with his head high.
He hadn't spoken to Mousepaw since the day he had stopped her from attacking Darkfire. While he had made attempts to approach his sister, the grey and white molly had simply turned away each time and ignored his presence. It made his heart hurt, turning him further from him family and deeper into Darkfire and Splashfury's clutches. While he truly believed he was just learning to be the best warrior, just like the deputy. He knew his sister felt otherwise.
Now, as he left his mentor's side, he slipped up to his sister who sat outside the apprentices den. Sitting at her side, he watched her with narrowed tan eyes for a moment. "Are you going to talk to me today.? You know I did what I did to protect you, Mousepaw. Darkfire would have made your life miserable if you'd have actually attacked him. Why can't you see that.?" He turned his gaze away from her, searching the clearing to see who else was out and about. Their mother sat outside the nursery, no doubt taking a moment of fresh air from the pairs newest siblings. "The deed was done when you went to attack him. It wouldn't have changed what happened, only made life worse for us."

Pebblepaw [Medicine cat Apprentice][Tom][6 Moons] With; Cherryfrost Where; Speaking with Starclan Shuffling his paws as he waited for Cherryfrost, Pebblepaw couldn't help but feel a bit of nervous. The two were about to head out to speak with Starclan. Their journey would two sunrises before they would reach the cave deep in the mountain area. But before they left to the mountains, they had to travel to Willowclan to ask Featherblossom and Speckpaw to check in on their clanmates. It was the duty of the other clan's medicine cat to keep watch over both clans when one set went out to the caves. Yet, he couldn't help but worry that the tension between the two clans would cause issues with that. "Cherryfrost.? Do you think Moonstar will let Featherblossom come and check on Gladeclan while we are away.? What if something happens and we aren't around.? What if the clan needs a medicine cat and they won't come over to help.?"
While the little white and grey tom was anxious, he was ready to head out. Giving his fur one last lick before he got to his paws and headed towards the den entrance, glancing back to make sure the black and white furred molly was following. They needed to get going and move quickly. The faster they got to the cave, the better. Even more so, the faster the spoke with the Willowclan medicine cats and got back off their territory, maybe then his fur would quick prickling.

WillowClan
ββββ*.Β·:Β·.β½β§ β¦ β§βΎ.Β·:Β·.*ββββ Redthorn || Leaders Den \ Elders Den || Lilacdawn >> Redthorns days had begun to run together, his best friend dooming him back to the Warrior Den after trying to help clean her fur. A simple task that she had taken very personal. Although the past three nights have been very dark for his clan as a whole, he felt as though he himself was in a darkness no one could pull him out of. Moonstar would have to pull out of this one way or another, or the clan was going to go under the water the same way their leader had. Letting out a loud, dramatic sigh, the large tom gingerly stepped out of his nest and into the clearing. The sun had not yet risen, but the deputy could not stand to be in the den any longer. Of course, once Lilypath had over heard Moonstars demand, she had made Redthorn a large, soft nest right next to hers for the deputy to sleep in. He didn't mind it too much, after all, Lilypath's fur that was pressed against his during the night carried an odd sense of warmth with it. Obviously Redthorn would never admit to enjoying the placement, but he could never voice his appreciation. Shaking out his fur, the tom found his paws leading him to the elders den. Lilacdawn would be there, the oldest cat in the clan. The one cat who has seen many leaders come and go in her time. She had seen Moonstar as a kit and watched her grow, so maybe she could speak with her? "Lilac?" The reed tom whispered into the dark, warm den. "Lilac can I have a word for a second?"
Redthorn had convinced the elder to speak with Moonstar, but not before having his ears boxed for waking her so early. It was nearly the middle of the day when Lilacdawn had emerged and nodded to Redthorn, heading to grab some herbs to take to their leader. Redthorn sat by the entrance as the elder pushed her way though, wanting to hear what their leader would say, but far enough that Moonstar would not be intimidated by his presence.
Things escalated quickly. Redthorn felt a new, hot anger burning in his chest. Moonstar had lashed out at the most respected elder of the clan. Bolting through the den door, his stance protective over Lilacdawn, he snarled. A loud, deep, scary sound rumbling from his chest. "Moonstar. Enough. You are way out of line." His claws were dug into the soft dirt of the den he once slept in. He would in no way attack his leader, but protecting the elders from any harm was his duty, and if the harm came from inside his own clan, he would obey the leaders who prowled among the stars. "Get it together or the whole clan is going under with you. Enough is enough." He repeated. Wrapping his tail around Lilac, he led her out of the den, making sure to shake the dust off his paws as he left, a sigh to Moonstar that he was no longer on her side in this battle that was going on inside her mind. "lilac, are you alright?" The deputy sniffed at her legs, wanting to check on the elder before going about his day.
Speckpaw || Medicine Cats Den || Featherblossom
>> Speckpaw blinked slowly. Sleep had been far away from the little spunky tom, the disbelief of his leaders heart break filling his bones with deep despair. Himself and his mentor had spent their days trying to decipher the dreams he had nearly a moon before all this happened. "No Feather, I have not had any more dreams, or even weird feelings.... All I can think of is Moonstar...." The little apprentice was very new to clan life, even being a Medicine Cat apprentice, he was still very young and naΓ―ve. For Starclan to give him a dream about something and leave his mentor out of it completely, didn't make any sense at all to him, and to give him such a strong message once, and nothing again after that, made his head swim anytime he thought about it. "Honestly, I don't want to think about it. I want to know why you didn't get the dream. There's no way that Starclan would put such a big responsibility on my shoulders. I don't even know all the herbs yet..." Any cat with ears would be able to hear the panic rising in his voice as he spoke, but something else ripped their attention from him. "Moonstar!" Speckpaw yelped, dashing so fast out of the den that his paws barely touched the ground as he ran. The smell of anger and fear filled his nose, his ears perked high as he spotted Lilacdawn being led out of the leaders den by Redthorn, their dejected deputy. "What in Starclans name happened?" He asked, trying to keep his anger under control. When in clan history had any leader ever attacked one of her own elders? Never. Even Dark Forest Cats knew better than to lay a paw on any elder. Looking over to Featherblossom as she so calmly took control of the situation, he felt his brain switch into learning mode. That was something he was grateful for, he was able to switch his brain from reactive to helpful in a matter of seconds, regardless of his lack of knowledge, he was very good at trying his best and learning. "I don't smell any wounds." He observed around his mentor. "Redthorn, what happened?" The little tom, no bigger than the paw of the deputy, demanded. (Excited to get things started again! "Darkfire. I hear you. But he is simply too young. And his sister... Id have to make his sister one as well and we both know she is not ready yet. She was at the battle too, was she not? Yet she came back without a single scar left onto her. Care to explain how that happened?" There was no anger in his voice, just sadness. He had already decided, but he didn't want Darkfire to know...yet. Mousepaws heart would be broken, and by the looks of it, whatever happened that day at the rocks, had already broken her heart. Little Mousepaw hardly ever spoke to anyone, and Eaglestar had taken notice that the bond between Mousepaw and Mysticpaw was not there still. Something happened but neither of them would talk, and Eaglestar couldn't help but feel that Darkfire was in the middle of it. "Darkfire. Why don't you take some patrols out or something useful. Let me ponder a little longer." He stood to his paws, easily towering over the large tom. "Let me think about it in peace please." He mewed as he stepped past him. Eaglestar stepped out into the light, eyes his son as he padded into the camp. He had grown a lot in the last few days, significantly. He watched as he padded over to his sister. Waiting a few moments, he decided to call for him. "Mousepaw. Come here please." He called, flicking his tail and turning away. Mousepaw || MysticpawMousepaw groomed her fur. Her mind filled with her recent rush of training. Her mentor was trying to keep her in step with where her brother was, a promise made that when the two became apprentices, they would become warriors together. What did that matter now. She was sure that Darkfire would twist something around to change that seeing how she behaved at the fight, yet she was still lucky enough now that Darkfire had not really taken much notice to her. For that, she was thankful. While lost in thought, the voice of her brother pulled her back to reality. "Mysticpaw." She mewed flatly. She had wanted nothing to do with him since he protected Darkfire at the battle. She flattened her ears as he brought it back up again. "Mysticpaw! Does it even occur to you in that small pea-sized brain of yours that I DO NOT CARE ANYMORE." She hissed loudly, fluffing out her fur in anger. "You can try to justify what you did to me, but that does not change anything that happened that night. Look at you. You're turning into his shadow." She choked, tears rolling from her eyes. Of course he didn't and could never feel the pain she felt. How could he? Just as she was going to say something else to him, her fathers call took his attention from her. "Of course. Go talk with Dad. Im sure he has something more important to tell you." With a flick of her tail, she dismissed herself into the den, away from all the responsibilities of the day She had no energy to go out and be pushed again with training, and the thought of food made her stomach twist. Cherryfrost || PebblepawCherryfrost licked her little apprentice between the ears, attempting to comfort him. "Pebblepaw, everything will work out fine. Willowclan must provide help to us when we need it. They have never denied us safe passage nor help yet, and I doubt things will suddenly change." The medicine cat turned to sniff her herb piles that she had prepared for them too. "Now listen, instead of over grooming yourself, why don't you go ahead and find us each a piece of fresh kill to fill us before we leave." She nosed the little tom to his paws. As Pebblepaw did what she asked, she followed after, turning to speak with Darkfire. Eaglestar was with his son and did not want to interrupt. Both of them looked upset about something. Mousepaw's mother had been in her pelt every day asking for herbs to help the little apprentice but nothing can fix a broken heart. Whatever happened that day at the rocks would have to be worked out between the two siblings. "Darkfire. Would you be so kind to let Eaglestar know that we, me and Pebblepaw, have left for the cave to speak with Starclan." She mewed, turning away before the deputy could say anything else to her.
