βΏWillowclan Character'sβΏ ___________________________ Moonstar [Leader][Molly][55 Moons] With; Redthorn, Eaglecry, Duckpaw Where; Sunning Rocks Patrol. Even though she was just outside the camp, Moonstar could turn her head and look right into her camp. Her heart warmed as she watched her warriors and apprentices coming to life in their home. Her gaze traveled to where Redthorn was addressing Eaglecry and Duckpaw and she blinked warmly. The two had bonded greatly in the moons that Duckpaw had started her apprenticeship. A perfect fit for a mentor-apprentice relationship. Yet, that was another decision that many had questioned her about. Duckpaw was Eaglecry's younger sister, and many saw it as a conflict of interest. Though, the longer the two trained together, the more her clanmates saw the wisdom in her decision.
Turning her head, her green gaze spotted Lilypath, snapping at her apprentice, Tinykit. Shaking her head slightly, a sigh escaped the leader's maw. Not all decisions were the greatest, but Moonstar had placed the two together so Tinypaw would learn strength. The little sickly tom would need it to ever become a warrior. And he was proving to the clan that he could just about anything that was asked of him. Locking her gaze on the warrior, she couldn't help but wonder how the sister to Eaglecry could have a personality so opposite of his. Yet, no one could ever deny that the molly was a hard-working and loyal molly. Qualities that the Willowclan leader respected in her clan.
Finally, she watched as one of the older warriors, Nightfeather approached her deputy. It was clear from her pointing tail, that she was telling the tom she had chosen her own patrol, as she did every morning. A chuckle formed in her chest and she waited for Redthorn to join her again, Eaglecry and Duckpaw close behind him. As the orange tom approached, she gave him a nudge with her shoulder. "You're going to let Nightfeather chose her own patrols until the day she retires, huh.?' She kept a teasing note to her tone, making him aware that she approved of the respect he gave to the loyal molly. While it was usually the Leader and Deputies choice, the two were very open to others choosing their own patrols when they wanted. Though, the only one that did it every day, was Nightfeather herself.
With a greeting nod to Eaglecry and Duckpaw, the feathery furred leader turned and headed towards the river. She had to circle around the rocky slope that made out her clans camp, before diving down a grassy slope to the river. Her gaze became serious as she led her clanmates along, knowing in her gut, that the Gladeclan warriors would be there soon enough. Glancing back, she watched Eaglecry and Duckpaw streaming behind them, the group moving so quickly, they were like blurs in the grass.
Reaching the river, her eyes flashed as it raged in the wind. She could swim easily, as could any Willowclan warrior, no matter how hard the current moved. Her worry was Duckpaw. The wind blew towards them, rain still falling from the sky and soaking their coats. Lifting her nose, she couldn't scent any Gladeclan warriors yet, relieved they reached the rocks first. With a flick of her tail, she gave the signal to swim across, before diving into the water. Kicking out with powerful legs, she moved towards the other side of the bank. Once reaching the other side, she climbed up the slope and continued up the rocks that made out the Sunning rocks. Water streamed from her sleek fur, her whiskers twitching in the rain. As she reached the top, her muscles rippled beneath her slicked down flank, her head high and green eyes flashing. β’β

β’ Sweetstorm [Queen][Molly][40 Moons] With; Hawkwhisper Where; Nursery Watching her mate great their kits, even the lifeless ones, brought strength to the queens soul. Yet, as Hawkwhispers voice cracked and his words filled her ears, tears filled her gray eyes. "Mistkit..Shadowkit" She echoed the words in a small whisper, before nosing the little one. Her heart ached in her chest, as she offered her goodbyes. "May Starclan watch over you two, until I can join you both in Starclan."
As he named the other kit, her eyes softened once more and she nosed her two living kits, both suckling from her. Small squeaks of happiness escaped them both, unaware of the pain that filled their parents. "Thunderkit and Hazelkit. Starclan has something in store for you two. I just know it." She looked up lovingly at the orange and white tom beside her, rubbing her cheek along his. Her voice softened and she spoke with a clarity that one wouldn't believe the greiving mother would have. "While we lost two of our children, the two we still have will bring greatness to this clan."

β’ Featherblossom [Medicine Cat][Molly][65 Moons] With; Speckpaw Where; Medicine Cat's Den As the chanting quick, Featherblossom felt the tiny body of her apprentice against her flank. Turning her gray eyes on the curly furred black tom, their eyes locked for a moment, before the tom grey still and his eyes clouded over. Silence filled their den for many heartbeats and Featherblossom tilted her head slightly. Was Starclan showing him something as well.? She knew that look well. Touching her tail to the apprentice's shoulder, she waited for him to come back to her. Yet the second her tail touched him, a horrible screech filled her ears. Speckpaw's eyes still clouded over, but his jaw was twisted in a screech as he called out for her.
Practically jumping out of her own fur, she flattened her ears and shook Speckpaw, voice frantic at his cries for her. "Speckpaw. I'm right here. Come on." She shook him harder, feathery tail lashing behind her. The panic in her voice mimicked her gaze as she tried to get the young tom to break out of his trance. Starclan was showing him something that startled him, and she needed to break him from the dream they had sent him into. "Come on, Speckpaw. Come back to me. What is Starclan showing you.?"
It was those very moments that sent the medicine cat into a whirlwind of questions and thoughts. What did Starclan mean by the words they had sent into her mind. Why were they sending her apprentice a visual, but her the words.? What did this mean for the clan.? Did Sweetstorm's kits have something to do with the prophecy, or was it just a coincidence that she received a prophecy while the queen was kitting.? β’β

Tinypaw [Apprentice][Tom][6 Moons] With; Lilypath, Feathersoul Where; The Twoleg Bridge Patrol As Lilypath flattened her ears at his words, Tinypaw's own little ears flattened and he ducked his head. Immediately, he knew he had said the wrong thing. As she snapped at him, he stepped back, flattening to the ground. This was the second time this morning he had upset her. Giving a faint meow that he acknowledged her words, he kept silent as she apologized. Turning his head, his ears pricked up as he heard and scented Redthorn approaching. He gave a happy flick of his tail as the tom addressed him and his mentor to patrol with his mother. At least his mother appreciated his spunky curiosity.
At the flat tone that his mentor spoke in, it was clear she wasn't thrilled to be going on a patrol. Or maybe it was that his mother would be joining them. Did she worry that Feathersoul would offer criticism in her training.? Without a second thought, the little mini version of Feathersoul hopped to his paws and greeting the approaching molly with a touch to the nose. From the command of his mother, he followed the warrior out of the camp, glancing back with bright eyes at his calico mentor. "Come on Lilypath!"

β’ Eaglecry [Warrior][Tom][28 Moons] With; Duckpaw, Moonstar, Redthorn Where; The Sunning Rocks Patrol A rumble of amusement echoed in the black and orange toms chest as a squeal of happiness echoed around the camp. Laughter was interrupted by a sneeze as Duckpaw's tail tickled his nose in her prancing and dancing. He shook his head to clear his mind, laughter taking up in his throat again. Flicking a tail out to calm the molly, his voice still echoed his amusement. "Alright. Alright. Calm down before they change their minds." His words ended as the realization that Sweetstorm and Hawkwhisper had lost kits, hit the apprentice. At her words, he nodded approvingly and gave her a gentle touch to the shoulder with his nose. "That's a wonderful idea, Duckpaw. You can take it to them when we return home. They would greatly appreciate that."
While Redthorn approached them and heeded warning of a battle, Eaglecry gave a curt nod to the deputy, though let Duckpaw concentrate on the task he'd given her. Answer questions. Be on alert. Focus. Be respectful. Giving a purr to his little sister, Eaglecry gave a twitch of his ears and followed after Redthorn and Moonstar. Moonstar gave them a quick greeting, before leading them at a fast pace to the river. Keeping close to Duckpaw, they raced along the grassy slope. His good eye squinted as he looked to the fast flowing river.
Upon reaching it, he waited for Moonstar to move across the river, before nudging Duckpaw to the waters edge. "We'll swim together. Stay against my left side. I'll be there in case the current is too strong for you." While he didn't doubt his apprentice, he wanted to be sure. With his tail over her shoulders, he led them both into the water, kicking out with strong legs, keeping his eye on Duckpaw. Worry was thick in his chest, almost suffocating him. While he had taught her how to fight, and she was great in those skills, he worried for her in battle. Gladeclan was known for their ruthlessness, especially the ones Darkfire often chose to patrol with. Praying to Starclan, he hoped the tom wouldn't come out today. Wouldn't take the storm as a moment to take the Sunning Rocks.

Nightfeather [Warrior][Molly][47 Moons] With; Sagefur, Sparrowpaw, Willowpaw. Where; Hunting in the depths of the forest. As the others joined her, Nightfeather gave a warm blink of her amber eyes, meowing a soft greeting to each one. While she had to have it her way in the mornings, the molly was a wonderful feline to be around. She never caused much trouble, and was an openly happy and cheerful one. The only voice she really had, was taking a patrol out, first thing in the morning. Most days, it was hunting, some days, it was a border patrol. Many often teased that she found her peace within the trees, which gave her the gentle spirit and kind voice that she had throughout the day. Her and her brother, Hawkwhisper were truly the opposite. From looks, to personalities. Yet, the two got along like two peas in a pod. Each other's perfect half. They reflected each other perfectly.
As Sagefur darted to her side, Nightfeather flicked her bushy tail in a mischievous way, matching his eyes. She glanced at the apprentices, before diving into the trees and swerving to the left, following the trees to the back of Gladeclan territory. "I thought we might hunt in the depths of the woods, right before we reach that twoleg farm. There is always so much prey over that way." Her fur streamed in the wind as she moved, legs bunching under her as she jumped over a fallen tree. Excitement sparked in her amber eyes as the calico molly lifted her nose to scent the air. It still rained, but the trees prevented most of the raindrops from reaching the warriors.
(So I had this idea that on the edge of each clans territory, is something to do with twolegs. Like on the far side of the trees, is a HUGE twoleg farm, more than one. Maybe three, lines side by side. Two on one side of the river, one on the other side. And beyond the mountains, is a twoleg place. A small town. Maybe like cabins.? And then on the other side of Willowclan territory, is like a campground area. And then on the other side of the marshland, is more trees, and like a one cabin in the woods. And their are kittypets that are friends to the clans there. That twoleg doesn't bother the clan cats. But each twoleg place is a big distance from the clans, like beyond what I could make on the map. As I see the clan territories as quite large.) β’β

β’ Feathersoul [Warrior][Molly][32 Moons] With; Lilypath, Tinypaw Where; The twoleg bridge patrol. As Feathersoul watched Tinypaw with Lilypath, for the second time that morning, she spotted the mentor snapping at her kit. Fur starting to rise on her shoulders, she got to her paws, starting towards the pair. Yet, Redthorn beat her and commanded that the three of them take a patrol to the twoleg bridge. A flicker of joy passed through her blue eyes as she moved on delicate white paws to join the mentor and apprentice. She flashed a cautious and warning look at Lilypath, before greeting Tinypaw with a touch to the nose and a welcoming purr.
With a flick of her bushy tail, the brown and white warrior led the group from the camp. She glanced back at Lilypath, flickering her ears to offer the lead of the patrol to the calico warrior. After all, she could lead and train Tinypaw at the same time. Feathersoul would simply trail behind and keep an eye around them. She watched her tiny mini-me practically run to keep up with their long legs. His tail stuck straight up as he ran at their sides. Her mind flashed to the idea that the gathering would be coming in a few days, and she wondered if Moonstar would allow the tiny little apprentice to join them. Would the other clan believe he was truly 6 moons old, or would they accuse them of allowing young kits into training,?

A smack to his head jerked Sparrowfeather from his sleep and her snapped his head up, fixing sharp yellow eyes on Mudfern, who was hissing at him. Blinking, he forced himself to focus, rubbing his stinging head. He drew his lips back in a small snarl, irritated to be woken so roughly. With a jab to Mudfern's side, he gave a huff and stood, circling in his nest, before curling up with his back to Mudfern. The two were almost identical in shape and size, both with brown fur. They only difference was the tone of brown that decorated their fur and the color of their eyes. Personality wise, Mudfern was easy to be around, Sparrowfeather, not so much. "Geez, don't be such a fox-heart, Mudfern. I was having a terrible dream." He covered his head with his paws, trying to force himself to go back to sleep.

Willowpaw [Apprentice][Molly][6 Moons] With; Sagefur, Nightfeather, Sparrowpaw Where; Hunting. As they were led through the territory, Willowpaw traveled close to Sparrowpaw. Glancing at her smaller brother, the white molly flickered her ears slightly. She often wondered why Moonstar put her brother with Nightfeather. With his foggy eye-sight, hunting was difficult for him and his mentors favorite task was hunting. Maybe the leader thought if anyone could guide the partially blind tom, it would be the skilled molly. Flicking her long tail against the matching white tom, she gave him the signal that a fallen tree was right before them, before she bunched her legs beneath her and flung herself over the trunk. Glancing back, she waited for Sparrowpaw to appear, before she turned and followed the two warriors.
Already, birdsong was filling her ears and she opened her maw, picking up the scent of a squirrel. Her paws tingled with the urge to follow the scent and get the squirrel, yet she chose to follow the calico warrior and Sagefur. The lean brown and white molly was keeping pace with Nightfeather.
(I just noticed that Sagefur is listed as a molly in the allegiances. Also, Made Sparrowfeather her father and love that she got his trouble-making ways.XD) β’β

She gave a small snort of amusement, knowing the elder was only teasing her. Giving a sigh, she nosed Flamestreak gently from beside her, thanking the two siblings. It was nice having the more able-bodied felines in the elders den with her. While she was still capable of much, days like today were impossible for her. She often wondered what Starclan could possibly have in store for her. She was no where near death, yet was the oldest known warrior in both clans, for all of history. Her name would be one that would be remembered for seasons.
Reaching forward, she felt for the denmate she had been with the longest. She could scent him in front of her. Gentle white paws touched the grey and cream tom's. She gave a happy purr of greeting, patting his paw with hers. While she was blind, she had the greatest hearing and scent, it guided her well in her older years. β’ Flamestreak [Elder][Tom][92 Moons] With; Lilacdawn, Spruceripple, Eveningeye. Where; Elders Den As his sister snapped awake, her playful scolding filled the den. She glanced at the orange and white molly, giving a warm purr before getting to his own paws. "And I'll gather us something to eat. That should settle us down for the day." Him and his sister were the youngest of the four elders that resided in Willowclan, though they dealt with their own aches and pains. He himself only ached in the leaf-bare season or on a stormy night. Most days, he was still as fit as a warrior.
As he stood, he stretched each leg, before touching his nose to Lilacdawn once more and padding from the den. Looking around the camp, he watched with sad eyes as the clan went about their day. His gaze trailed after Redthorn as he left with Moonstar. Just two moons prior to this, he had done his final patrol as Moonstar's deputy. It'd been the hardest decision of his life to retire and give up his place at her shoulder. Yet, he'd approved immensely in the choice of Redthorn. A chuckle escaped him. Two moons ago, he had retired as the deputy and Redthorn had not only become deputy, but within a few days of his new title, had moved into the leaders den with Moonstar.
Shaking his orange head, he slipped up to the freshkill pile and snatched up four mice from the top. Turning on aching paws, he headed back to his den, setting a mouse at each of his denmates paws. He left his at his nest, as well as his sisters, before padded up to Eveningeye. Nudging the older tom, he purred softly. "Good morning, Eveningeye. >> Gladeclan Kitties << β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β βSplashfury || Darkfire &Brokenmist SunningstonesSplashfury flattened her ears as Darkfire corrected her for her question. The usually quite she-cat had a different side to her when she was around the blood thirsty deputy, her whole attitude changed. She was usually quiet and reserved, but when around Darkfire, she became obnoxious and rude, following him like a kit does its mother. She never questioned him actions, but bringing Brokenmist might be an issue, while he is too mouse-brained to question the tom, would be fight with them at sunning stones? If he did, would be report it back to Eaglestar later? Rolling her eyes, she padded next to the deputy, her fur slightly touching his. The she-cat easily pranced through the flat lands, her paws guiding her swiftly. The moles were out, digging under the earth around their camp. To any cat not paying attention, tripping would be common, but with her determination not to fail at Darkfire's side, she strode with near perfection. Once the little group reached the river, it swelled and bubbled with the intensity of the rain water. Though the rain had never stopped, it had slowed down enough not to be a bother, the Gladeclan's cats pelt easily repelling the water that hit their fur. Following Darkfire's lead, she stepped carefully on the stones, keeping her claws sheathed so she didn't slip into the cold water. Although she could swim easily enough, the point of their mission was not a leisurely dip in the water. Choosing each step with care and caution, the she-cat and deputy had made it to the rocks before Willowclan, or so she thought. Just as their little group made it across the river, the wind brought the foul scent of Willowclan. Moonstar, her deputy, Redbush, or whatever his name was, and two others she could not identify. Snarling, she slid out her claws, ready, but waiting for Darkfire's command. β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Brokenmist || Darkfire & Splashfury & Mysticpaw & Mousepaw Out by Sunning Rocks Brokenmist frowned. He had been scolded by a fellow warrior for a genuine question, and the scoffs from the two apprentices and deputy made his paws heavy in sadness, could he do nothing right? Sighing, he looked away, locking eyes with Articflame and Cloudbreeze as the two made their way away from the little patrol. Part of him longed to dash away with them, to rid himself of the painful words of the cats around him, but he knew better. To disrespect Darkfire was a grievous deed. No one ever dared go against him. Deciding that it was in every ones best interest to stay silent, he looked at his paws, his heart heavy. All two soon, the group headed away. By the looks of it, they were going to Sunning Rocks, but a feeling in his paws let him know it wasn't to go to rest in the sun... Fear bubbled in his belly as the realization hit him. The four cats were going to fight, to claim land that wasn't theirs. Did Eagle know? How could he? He was too busy celebrating the new life brought to him in his family and the clan. Nearing the swollen river, his ears flattened, it was full, but thankfully the stones that lead to the rocks were still there. Watching how Splashfury stepped with such ease, right behind Darkfire, he nodded for the two apprentices to go first, he was in no rush to shed blood today. β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Cherryfrost || Pebblepaw Medicine Cats Den
Cherryfrost stopped, her mind deep in thought. Starclan had sent a message to her apprentice but not her, Why? Turning her icy eyes on her apprentice, she looked him up and down. "Is that all you heard?" She forced out, her voice shaky. Motioning for her apprentice to stay silent, she waited to see if she would be whisked away into a vision from Starclan, but nothing came, only the soft whisper of breathing from Pebblepaw. Frowning, she began to move her herbs around once again. "I don't understand it..." She whispered, speaking to herself more than her apprentice who sat rod straight next to her. Sighing, the beautiful She-cat looked back to her apprentice. "While the Thunder forms around the glade, the fern shall rise among the Willows." She let the words fall from her lips, tasting them as they came out. While nothing special happened to her, she watched as her apprentice seemed to be hearing voices from every angle. Creasing her forehead, she sighed. "It doesn't sound negative, but with something like this, the smartest thing we could do is go speak with Starclan ourselevs to see what they have to say." She mewed. A trip to the Caves was two days travel on paw, one that was not so easily done. She eyed her apprentice. "It would be your first time going, I think you'll enjoy it."
(So I was thinking That Cherryfrost can be totally left out of the prophecy, causing some sort of issue, but would totally make for a fun Rp through the whole thing) β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Eaglestar || Applenose Nursery Eaglestar smiled. Everything was perfect now, his kits were here, his mate was healthy, his clan was strong, things were going smoothly for now. Closing his eyes, he thought for a second. He had not heard his deputy naming any patrols yet, and the sun was high enough in the sky now that cats should have been sent out for border checks and hunting. Sighing he opened his eyes and looked at Applenose. "Darkfire continually disappoints." He whispered, his eyes deep wells of thought. Although his deputy had never out front disobeyed his orders, he knew how tricky the tom was, and how the power of deputy had gone to his head, making things difficult for him as a leader. His choice of deputy reflects on him as leader, and Darkfire's blood thirst complicated things greatly for him.

Frostpuddle Smiled as her apprentices thoughtfulness filled the air. "Being the kit of a warrior and the kit of the leader are the same, the duties remain the same as well, making things fair." She whinked at Spiderpaw. She knew the clan looked at Eaglestars older kits with a little bit on envy and held them at a higher standard than others, but in her eyes, every cat was equal, all deserving of the same love and affection regardless of their differences. As Spiderpaw finished up her meal and pranced around her, she laughed. Darkfire and his patrol would be gone, starclan knows where. "How about we go to the two-leg bridge? Then we can go from there over to hunt in the grass lands? Im sure Darkfire wont bring back anything useful." She mewed, her eyes wide but sad at the mention of her scary deputy.
β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Articflame || Cloudbreeze Out on a walk Articflame was thankful for his sister. She had always been there for him, regardless of their disagreements. He was grateful for her coming up with some sort of distraction, but his mind was heavy with worry in reaction to her words. "Darkfire continues to shock me..." He mewed, his voice thick in disappointment. He was amazed that Eaglestar had chose him as his deputy, but things with Darfire grew worse after the power went to his head. "What do you think Eaglestar will do if he finds out Darkfire went there without permission?" He asked, wondering if the non-confrontational leader would confront the blood hungry tom-cat.

She had just began to feel movement not long before she moved her nest to the nursery, thankful for a warm and mostly quiet place to sleep. The squeals and chirps from kits never bothering her. Licking his ear, she purred. "I didn't sleep much, but that's alright. Watching Applenose kit was a beautiful thing." She mewed, just loud enough for her fellow queen to hear. She wasn't sure how close to her kitting she was, but watching the events of the night unfold made her ready for them to be here. "How was your night? I'm surprised you were not sent out on a patrol this morning." She mewed, bending her head down to sniff the dove he brought to her. the warm sweet smell of the bird made her mouth water. She had began to eat more, seeing her kits were growing.

Squinting her eyes, she listened as her brother mentioned Darkfire. She had no desire to go out with him, but to disobey would mean punishment, and seeing he was an apprentice, he had better just suck it up and go. Yawning, the little grey and white she-cat jumped to her paws and dashed out after her brother. As she pushed her way out, she caught the stinking words of Splashfury, the glares of Snake and the annoyance of Darkfire. They had a mission, and Brokenmist was holding the group up. Frowning, she pressed her little body against his as he looked to the ground with sad eyes. She hated how Darkfire and Splashfury belittled the cats around the clan for expressing thoughts that went against the hot headed deputy. Mousepaw followed last, not wanting to be there just as much, if not more, than Brokenmist. That tom was too pure in heart to be here with Darkfire, but had no sense to speak up for himself, but who did when it came to the deputy? She looked over at her brother who followed after Snake, happy to be involved. Her heart ached for him. Did he not see the damages Darkfire caused? As they crossed and waited, fear prickled her pelt. Splashfury had caught wind on the Willowclan cats, a wicked snarl leaving her maw. She grey and white she-cat pressed her body against her brother for comfort, waiting.

Weaslesongs clouded eyes opened, the musty scent of her mate overtaking her. Thankful for a nest next to him, she let out a crackling purr. "I slept alright, you twitched a lot, as always." She teased, flicking him with her tail tip. Even in her old age she was still joking around. Her head turned in the direction of the other elders as Greypebble spoke, his gruff voice drawing the sleep out of her eyes. "Now Greypebble, we ought to be thankful for new kits and a smooth delivery." She corrected the old elder, her cloudy eyes gleaming. Regarding the weather, the old warriors bones felt mostly fine, she was a little stiff, but who wouldn't be after a wet and chilly night like last night. Licking Clawstrikes head, she got to her paws and stretched. "Are you hungry?" She asked, poking her head out of the den. "And don't worry, I'll go get us some herbs too." Redthorn || Moonstar Sunningrocks
Redthorn had finally joined the small group of cats him and Moonstar had chosen to go on patrol with them. He knew that going to Sunning Rocks, after not going for a little bit, there would be some sort of disagreement between the two clans. Taking a deep breath to steady himself, he nodded to Duckpaw, praying to Starclan that she would be kept out of harms way. Looking at moonstar, his laugh came out in more of a chuff. "I fear the day Nightfeather stops taking her own patrols out." He mewed lightheartedly. That warrior was always helpful enough, and did many things without getting under the paws of himself or Moonstar, so he saw no reason to put an end to it. For right now, it seemed good for the kind hearted warrior to take her patrol out among the trees. She never caused issues before, so why cause one by ending the one freedom she had? Nudging Duckpaw with his nose, he motioned for Eagle and Duckpaw to go first, he would follow behind, bringing up the end of the patrol. Nervousness gnawed at his gut, he knew things were going to be hard if Gladeclan were at the rocks, even more so if Darkfire was there. Eaglestar was known for his understanding heart, but his deputy was such an odd choice to have beside him. As the group neared the river, Moonstar took the lead and went across first. The water was high and the current was strong, but Moonstars able body swam across with ease. Waiting for Eaglecry to go next with Duckpaw, he watched as the two slid into the water. Duckpaws little legs churned as best as she could, but he could see that the little apprentice was struggling. Her body firmly against her mentor. The little apprentice couldn't swim away even if she wanted too. Watching intently, the apprentices little head went under the water, the rip tide pulling her under. Hissing, he jumped in. His large legs kicked with fierceness as the deputy jutted his body under the little molly, lifting her above the water and onto the edge of the river on the other side. Thankfully, her body had stayed up against Eagle as she swam, so using him as leverage to lift her up, made things easier. As Redthorns head surfaced, a loud cough escaped him. He was fine, he made sure to keep his legs kicking to help him lift himself out of the water. Shaking the water out of his fur, he bent down to sniff Duckpaw. "You're alright?" He mewed, sniffing her and Eagle over to make sure both had made it without harm. Redthorn turned over to to his leader, his head low. "If that's the worst thing we encounter today, I'll be thankful." He mewed quietly. He didn't doubt his leaders choice in coming to the Sunning Rocks, but he knew with an apprentice, things would be a lot more worrisome for the group. Turning away, he followed his leader to the rocks. The wind was blowing in the wrong direction, so if Gladeclan were there, they would be the first to know Willowclan was coming. Turning the bend in the trees to the opening, he flattened his ears. Gladeclan had been waiting for them.
β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Hawkwhisper || Sweetstorm NurseryHawkwhisper closed his eyes. "These kits are going to do great things. I can feel it in my bones." He whispered in retaliation to Sweetstorms comment. He wasn't sure what to do now, this was his first time being a father, did he need to go to the medicine cats den to get more herbs? Did Sweetstorm want food? Patrols went out, so the fresh kill pile would be freshly stocked here in a little bit. Looking at his mate, he licked her head once more. "can I get you anything my love?" He asked.
(This is such a short response for him, but I wasn't sure where to go from here xD) β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Speckpaw || Featherblossom Medicine Cats Den Speckpaw's head swam with all that was going on, but as soon as he was whisked away into the clouds, he found himself back in the Medicine Cats Den, Featherblossoms body pressing against his as she tried to comfort him during the vision. Blinking his eyes, he stared off in the distance. This was his first prophecy he got to be a part of, but not one that he had wanted to start off with. The things that he saw in the clouds were enough to chill anyone to the bone. "Featherblossom...." He whispered, his body trembling. "Whatever that message is from Starclan, it isn't good.." He whispered, his eyes distant as he replayed the pictures in his head. Heaps of cats, dead in the clearing, everything dry and gone... But him alone in the clearing with the blood on his paws.. What did all that mean? "I'm scared, Featherblossom." He whined, tucking his cold nose into the long warm fur of his mentor for comfort. The little apprentice was so young, and for something so dark to be revealed to him shook him to his core. Taking a deep breath, he tried to gather himself enough to form into words what he saw. "It was dark... and dry..." He mewed, his little yellow eyes clouded. "Cats were dead.. Everywhere..." He whispered, looking at his mentor again to search her face for some sort of comfort.
β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Lilypath || Tinypaw & Feathersoul Leaving Camp Lilypath nodded to Feathersoul as she joined the little group. The last thing she wanted to do was take her apprentices mother out on a patrol with them, but anything to keep Redthorn happy. Lowering her head as Feather dipped hers, she flicked her tail. She wanted to go out as soon as possible and return as quickly as she could. Turning to leave camp, she stopped just outside the entrance. "Tinypaw, where do you think we should go today?" She mewed, wanting to ask her apprentice to make a choice. She new that having Tinypaws mother here with her would complicate things, so Lilypath wanted to give Tinypaw as much freedom to make her own decisions to prove to the two warriors that she could think for herself, even with her mentor and mother present. She would have to learn not to let other cats influence her choices. It irritated her that Feathersoul had seeminly took control of the patrol already, not giving Lilypath a chance to even decide on anything. She sighed as she waited to hear Tinypaws answer. β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Duckpaw || Redthorn &Moonstar &Eaglery Sunning RocksDuckpaw could barely hold her excitement in as the group began to leave. She was actually going out with her leader and her deputy. Now was the perfect time to show them how much her training had paid off. Keeping an eye on her mentor as the little group headed towards the river, her breath caught in her throat as they got closer. The river was high, its current churning so loudly she couldn't hear the cats around her, even though her mentor was close to her side. Her ears flicked up as she watched Moonstar glide in without any hesitation, her long legs churning under the water, propelling her strong body across with such ease and elegance. Watching her lift herself out and shake her fur dry, she understood why Redthorn was in love with her, she was absolutely beautiful! The grace she constantly carried herself with come off in such a radiant shine, Duckpaw stood in awe. All too soon, her Mentors nudge to her side brought her back. It was her turn to swim. Looking nervously in the face of her brother, she listened. He wanted her to swim with him by his left side in case the current was too strong for her little body to maneuver in. She had done a lot of training, but never once could she recall her mentor bringing her to the river to learn how to swim though it properly. Stepping in slowly, her body shivered. The fresh rain water chilled her to the bone. She took note on how Moonstar had kicked out her hind legs to help push her through, how he front paws glided so softly to keep her head above the water. Deep in thought, she tried her best, but a large ripple of water caught her back paws, tangling them with each other, pulling her under. Frantically flailing her paws around, she felt her claws rake the side of her mentors body as she fought for air. Jamming her eyes shut, she prayed to Starclan for them to let her find air. Just as she thought she was going to drown, She felt someone lift her out of the water, flinging her out of the water onto the shore on the other side like a kit. Gasping, the apprentice laid on her side, her flanks heaving with each breath she took. "Well that could've been bad." She joked, slowly getting to her paws once more. "Eaglecry, are you alright?" She asked.
β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Sagefur || Willowpaw & Nightfeather &Sparrowpaw PatrolSagefur dipped his head. Nightfeather was always fun to go out with, her spirit matched in the way that the two always had fun whatever they were doing. The two apprentices joining them would just make things better for them. "The twoleg farm is always an interesting place to go." He mewed in agreement. Not only would it be a great place to hunt, but it is also full of fun different things they could show the apprentices while they were there. Without waiting for any further communication, Sagefur flicked his tail and bolted away. He ducked behind a fern and waited for the other cats, his tail dipping his excitement as he waited. As Nightfeather came around the corner, he jumped, his paws batting her in the ears. "Agh!" He mewed, laughing. "You had no idea I was even there!" He laughed. β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Mudfern || Sparrowfeather Warriors DenMudfern frowned. Leave it to his brother to make the situation about him. "No one could even get any sleep with you acting like a kit." Regardless of is he was having a bad dream or not. With a loud sigh, he got to his paws. There was no point in even trying get any sleep now. It was late enough that sleep had flown off somewhere else. Irritated, he stretched, making his long tail thumped Sparrowfeather in the nose before he turned out of the warriors den. Camp was busy. Cats were leaving on patrols, apprentices were outside the den gossiping, even the elders were up and complaining about the night. Sighing he went to the fresh kill pile and sniffed out and old mouse. Finding a spot in the camp to eat, he slowly took his meal in, enjoying the warm taste. β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Spruceripple || All The Elders Elders DenSpruceripple stepped outside the den, making her way across the camp. Nearly running into Mudfern as he walked past her, she dipped her head in greeting. She could hear Speckpaw screeching inside the den, making her fur crawl. What in the world was going on? She was a warrior when they found him by the bridge, half alive. Picking up her pace, she poked her head in and watched, holding her breath. Something wasn't right. Just as soon as she was about to announce her presence, she could hear Speckpaws whimpers to Fetherblossom about the vision he had received. Coughing to let the two know she was there, she waited to be acknowledged. β β β β β© β£ βͺ β β β β Eveningeye || All the Elders Elders DenEveningeye had not budged since the other elders awoke. His bones were screaming at him, his eyes burning with the tiredness that had not soothed them in the night. Lifting his head as Lilacdawn addressed him, he sighed. "I did not even get a wink of sleep." He mewed sadly, resting his head on his paws, keeping his clouded eyes open to see the other felines in the den. Spruceripple was leaving to get some herbs, and Flamestreak offered to gather some food for them. "where are all the apprentices? Shouldn't they have come in and made sure we were alright before leaving?" He hissed, lashing his tail.

___________________________ Darkfire [Deputy][Tom][45 Moons] With; Brokenmist, Splashfury, Snakevenom, Mysticpaw and Mousepaw. Where; Sunning Rocks As Splashfury crouched on one side of him and Snakevenom on the other, the aggressive deputy narrowed his dark green eyes. Within moments of them reaching the edge of the trees at the bottom of Sunning rocks, Moonstar had climbed the rocks. Soon after, Redthorn joined her side, both staring straight towards them. Opening his maw, he picked up the scent of two other members, before watching them climb the rocks. A snort escaped him, seeing the patrol. 'Good. Six of us. Four of them. Easy steal.' As the thought ran through his head, he flicked his tail to signal his warriors and apprentices. Standing to his paws, he slipped from the trees and up the rocks, a deep growl rumbling in his chest. His eyes locked with Moonstar's, ears flattened and lips drawn back in a snarl. Muscles rippled under the dark toms flank as he worked his way towards the patrol.
"Well, Well. How did I know that we would find you here." The challenge in the toms voice was clear as he reached the large flat rock that could fit both patrols on it. He circled Moonstar's patrol, eyes flashing amongst the group of Willowclan cats. "I thought I would have just a random patrol to deal with." He paused, standing inches from Moonstar, green eyes glinting with the challenge that filled his words. "But how lucky am I, to reclaim these rocks from none other, than the great Willowclan leader herself." The last of his words came out as a spit, as the tom flicked his ears and tail, signaling for his warriors to circle the four warriors. Yet, he kept his tail up, letting them know he wasn't ready to attack the patrol just yet.

Snakevenom [Warrior][Tom][32 Moons] With; Darkfire's patrol Where; Sunning rocks While his eyes were bright, they held a sharpness to them that was almost scary. Crouching at Darkfire's shoulder, he shared a glance with Splashfury, before rising at his deputies signal. Green eyes sweeping to take in Mysticpaw and his sister and then Brokenmist, he narrowed his eyes, almost challenging his clanmates himself. His gaze lingered on Brokenmist for a moment, as if questioning if the tom would join them in battle. Yet, he knew that no one would dare defy Darkfire and his orders.
Turning back, he followed the black and orange tom up the rocks, his eyes flashing with such venom, it was clear how the aggressive tom earned his name. He circled Moonstar and her patrol, though his own eyes were locked on Redthorn as he hissed at the Willowclan deputy. Yet, he kept his limbs stiff and his fur bristling, forcing himself to hold in line with the others as Darkfire spoke. At his deputies signal, the brown tabby tightened the circle around the four, leaving them no way to slip through the Gladeclan patrol. His lips drew back to reveal sharp teeth as he waited for Darkfire's signal to attack, his green gaze locking with Redthorn's

β’ Mysticpaw [Apprentice][Tom][11 Moons] With; Darkfire's patrol Where; Sunning Rocks While Mysticpaw felt his paws tingle with excitement to not only prove himself to Darkfire and his loyal followers, but to be in a battle to take back the rocks that clearly belonged to Gladeclan, he couldn't help but hesitate at his sisters touch. Glancing at the gray and white molly, he watched as she cowered against him, before giving her a gentle lick. "Don't worry, Mousepaw. I'll make sure nothing happens to you." While he knew his sister was capable of handling herself, he would never let anyone harm her.
They didn't sit long, before Darkfire was leading them up the rocks, right to a patrol of Willowclan warriors. His gaze scanned the group, an uneasy feeling filling him to see that Moonstar herself led the patrol with Redthorn. He quickly recognized Eaglecry and his sister and apprentice Duckpaw. Locking gazes with Duckpaw, he flattened his ears slightly. The Willowclan apprentice had always been kind to him and his sister at gatherings, and for a moment, he felt hesitant to harm her. Yet, as him and his clanmates circled the patrol, he felt the immense longing to prove himself to Darkfire and his mentor, Splashfury. He would do whatever was needed to show them that he was on their side. Flicking Mousepaw with his tail, he murmured so only she could hear. "We'll take on Duckpaw. With the two of us, we can chase her off quicker. That's all we have to do, is make them retreat to claim the rocks."
βΏWillowclan Character'sβΏ ___________________________ Moonstar [Leader][Molly][55 Moons] With; Redthorn, Eaglecry, Duckpaw Where; Sunning Rocks Patrol.
As Redthorn joined her, her eyes scanned the forest to watch for the Gladeclan warriors. Yet, as her deputy spoke, Darkfire strode from the trees with a group following behind him. Her ears flattened slightly and she forced herself to stand taller, more commanding. Flicking the tom beside her with her feathery tail, she flashed him a look as the group reached them. Keeping her green eyes sharp and challenging, she locked eyes with Darkfire. Keeping her fur flat as the tom circled them with Snakevenom, she only gave a soft growl of warning. Eaglecry and Duckpaw had joined them as the whole group circled the smaller patrol, leaving them no room to retreat. Claws unsheathing, the leader hissed at Darkfire and Splashfury, who stood side by side. "This is Willowclan territory, Darkfire. Leave now."
Her fur bristled slightly as a throaty laugh came from the black and orange tom. His laughter picked up with Snakevenom as her words seemed to spark the challenge in the Gladeclan warriors. "It's been Gladeclan's from the start. When will you ever learn that, dear Moonstar." His tail flicked in a silent command as he fixed her with a glare, a snarl leaving his maw. "And we will fight to take it back from you." With the final word dropping from his throat, the deputy of Gladeclan launched himself at Moonstar.
The rain that had lightened up, was suddenly pouring among the two patrols as the tom's body hit Moonstar's. She swiped with powerful paws to catch Darkfire over the ears as he wrestled her to the ground. Snarls of fury erupted from the two as the rolled across the stones. Leaving the rest of their patrols to fend for themselves. Moonstar had managed to twist, pulling Darkfire to the ground as she snapped her teeth at his neck. Her teeth clamped together, a snapping sound echoing around them as he yanked back, causing the leader to miss her mark. A pained his sounded from her as Darkfire's claws hit her cheek, leaving blood welling up from the claw marks on her face.
Behind them, Snakevenom was challenging Redthorn, a deep snarl escaping his throat as he circled the Willowclan deputy, keeping him back from Moonstar. Near him, Mysticpaw had launched himself at Duckpaw, ears flattened and a hiss sounded as he barreled the little molly to the ground.

β’ Eaglecry [Warrior][Tom][28 Moons] With; Duckpaw, Moonstar, Redthorn Where; The Sunning Rocks Patrol The moment of panic when Duckpaw's head went under, quickly faded when Redthorn helped her onto shore. His side stung from where her claws scraped along his flank, yet as he climbed on to the bank, he was only grateful she was okay. Nodding his head, he turned and lapped at the blood that welled up from the marks on his side. "I'm alright. I'm just glad Redthorn was there to help." He blinked warmly at Duckpaw, before leading her up the rocks. They had just reached the top when a noise below made his head turn.
Immediately, regret filled his chest as Darkfire and a group of five others circled them. He swept his tail out, pulling his sister closer and flattening his ears. His head swept around the Gladeclan patrol as he silently cursed himself for being half blind. His orange eye blazed with a challenge as he gazed at the warriors that Darkfire had chosen to join him. While he wasn't surprised by Splashfury or Snakevenom, nor that the tom brought their apprentices, he was slightly surprised to see Brokenmist with them. The tom wasn't much of an aggressive warrior, no matter which clan he was from. It didn't seem right that he would be with the group of aggressive warriors.
Hissing softly to Duckpaw, he warned her in a low voice. "We are outnumbered. Stay close. Be brave. But if they overpower you, leave. Do you understand.?" The panic that welled up in his chest, threatened to flood into his voice, but he pushed it down. While Duckpaw was trained in battle, both Mousepaw and Mysticpaw were almost warriors. Both would be more skilled than his sister.
Within heartbeats, the rocks erupted in battle as Darkfire and Moonstar rolled together in a snarling and hissing knot. Snakevenom with lashing out at Redthorn, challenging the tom. Mysticpaw had attacked Duckpaw, barreling the molly right to the ground. He hissed a challenge at Mousepaw and Brokenmist, before turning to pull Mysticpaw away from Duckpaw.

WillowclanRedthorn || Battle At Sunning Rocks
Redthorns ears flattened as Darkfire and his loyal followers stepped out of the bushes from beneath Sunning Rocks. Fear gripped his heart as he quickly glanced between Duckpaw, Eaglecry and Moonstar. They were out numbered, badly. He knew they would be here, the storm making it a perfect time for Gladeclan to get their thoughts mixed up and claim it as their again. Pressing his fur against his leader, his legs stiffened as the cats began to circle them. Redthorn lowered his head and let out a snarl as Darkfire spoke to Moonstar in such a demeaning way. The disrespect, the Blood thirst, the hatred. The large toms blood boiled, his eyes as red as fire. Redthorns tail lashed, his claws out. They were playing on Darkfire's terms, making this a lot more dangerous of a fight than what it needed to be. Snakevenom had chosen him to battle with, leaving Moonstar to fight along with Darkfire. Duckpaw had been pinned up by the other two apprenices, and Brokenstorm had for some reason chosen to fight with Eagelcry. Why was Brokenmist here in the first place? He was such an agreeable tom, regardless of the clan he was in, but for him to be here with Darkfire's loyal followers, just didn't make sense to the deputy.
Being lost in thought, Redthorn had missed Darkfire's signal to attack. All too soon, Moonstars snarl ripped through the air, the loudness of it shaking him to his core, but what chilled him the most was getting a glance of Duckpaw, alone, the two apprentices on top of her. "Duckpaw! Remember your training!" He yowled as he threw himself into the maw on Snake. He was a livivng barrier between him and his leader who had been taken down by Darkfire. The large tom had claws as sharp as thorns, but they seemed to do little to no damage to the murder hungry warrior of Gladeclan. Snarling, he swiped, his paws raking the side of the large dark warrior, a failed attempt to put him on his side. Redthorn hissed as the tom pinned him to the ground, snarling in his face. "Moonstar, Im coming!" He thought as he fought hard. Duckpaw || Battle at SunningrocksDuckpaws fear filled the air like the fog in the early morning. This was her first time seeing Darkfire in all his.. glory. He was huge and his followers looked just as ominous. The little apprentice had flattened herself to the ground, the demanding words of her mentor flittering through the air like pieces of ice, filling her paws. If its too much, leave. Did Eaglecry think she wasn't good enough to do this? To defend her leader and deputy? To fight when its her duty to fight? Anger filled her paws, her little yellow eyes flashing in the dim light of the rain. As snarls filled the air, she felt her mentor leave her side, his paws occupied with Brokenmist. The sky seemed to weep as Darkfire signaled for for attack, lightning painting the world in a sickining white as blood began to fall from her clan mates. Stepping back in fear, she shook her head. They were so badly out numbered, and it seemed as though to two other apprentices had singled her out. Before she could get another thought processed, the two apprentices her one her back. Hissing and spitting, she lashed out, her claws scoring one of the two along their face, the blood squirting everywhere. Yowling, she kicked her back paws, flinging the other one off. She had no time to think. Looking around, Moonstar was tussling with Darkfire, Redthorn was pinned, and her mentor was cornered. Spitting, she launched herself back into the heat of the fight. Gladeclan
Brokenmist || Battle at SunningrocksBrokenmist panicked, If he had known he was going to be in a useless battle with Willowclan, he would have stayed in his nest. Looking at Snakevenom and Splashfury, their hunger for battle making his fur rise in fear. There's no way Eaglestar knew about this, he would never allow this to happen, Darkfire must have went behind his back and organized this whole thing, that explains why these cats were here with him. Looking at the little apprentice Willowclan had brought, he frowned. How could he fight such a fierce battle and have the paws of innocents on his paws? Was it not good enough for the clans to just agree and split the possession of the rocks? Did their always have to be a fight? Staying put in his position beside the two Gladeclan apprentices, he looked at the rocks that were beneath his paws, the rain trickling around his pads. This was going to end badly, but there was nothing he could do. The lightning filled that filled the sky seemed to coincide with Darkfires signal to attack. Sighing, the gentle tom rose to his paws. Darkfire had Moonstars body against the rocks in seconds, Redthorn had Snakevenoms blood trickling already, and Mousepaw and Mysticpaw were in a ball of fury with Duckpaw, leaving him to fight with the half blind Eaglecry. He couldn't choose not to fight, Darkfire would line his nest with his fur if he did that. He could run back to the camp and warn his leader what was happening. No, he would interrupt his time with his kits, and by the time their leader got there, things would be over. Deciding the worst, Brokenmist slid out hi claws and flung himself at Eaglecry, sinking them deep into the warriors clouded eye. Snarling, he jumped back, avoiding the swipe that the warrior gave, catching his ear on the tips of his claws. Wincing in pain and anger that he had been drug into this, he slammed his body into the flank of Eagle, sending the two to the ground in a ball of wet fur. Splashfury || Battle at SunningrocksSplashfury paws tingled in her readiness to shed blood, to prove herself once more to her deputy that she was worthy of him. Stalking up as the group stood on the rocks, nearly nose to nose with the Willowclan warriors, she let out a sick snarl of threat as Darkfire spoke. "This is our territory and you know it." She snarled at Redthorn, her tail flicking his nose, drawing his attention away from his leader as Darkfire circled her. Sniffing the deputy, she lowered her head threateningly. "Yes, this is the fur I'd like my nest lined with." She laughed, evil filling it, making her words heavy as she slid out her claws. Darkfire's signal to attack made splash laugh, her fury blazing as she flung herself along side Snake, into the body of the deputy. She lashed out, catching Redthorn's ear as she ducked her companions swipe at him. Once again, she laughed, her eyes flashing in the rain. She loved fighting almost as much as Darkfire, the desire to see the blood of her enemies on the ground driving her in a way that only Dark forest cats would understand. What fools these cats were to come here today! Mousepaw || Battle At SuningrocksMousepaw trembled. She never liked Darkfire or his followers, and she resented her brother for wanting to be like him. What did he see in the dirty deputy anyway? Frowning at her brother as he promised his protection over her, she sighed. Why did he want to fight so bad? What was he trying to prove? Their mother would be so disappointed in them, Eaglestar would be so upset. A single tear dipped from her eye as she saw Darkfire's tail signal for the group to attack. Her brother dashed away in an instant, pinning the Willowclans apprentice against the rocks. The screams of the cats around her filled the air, making her eyes go dark in fear. She had no choice but to fight, or her tail would be Darkfires flank scratcher. Flattening her ears, she launched herself into the fight with her brother, tears streaming from her eyes with every half hearted swipe.

___________________________ Darkfire & Moonstar [Deputy/Leader][Tom/Molly][45 Moons/55 Moons] With; Brokenmist, Splashfury, Snakevenom, Mysticpaw and Mousepaw. & Redthorn, Eaglecry and Duckpaw Where; Sunning Rocks As his claws sliced across her cheek, Moonstar stumbled. Blood glistened on his claws, lit up by lightning that stuck across the sky. His snarl radiated around the sunning rocks as a crack of thunder echoed it. Taking advantage of her stumble, Darkfire flung himself at the leader. She reared up to meet him, yet as their bodies collided, paws slipped on the rain soaked rocks and the two tumbled down to the river below. Locked in a screeching match, Darkfire took the opportunity to cling to the Willowclan leader, using her body to protect himself from the rocks. As they came to a stop, the clearly dazed Moonstar lashed out at him, but he easily swatted her paws away, before diving forwards and latching his teeth around her neck. While he didn't give her a killing bite, it was enough to cause blood to spray around them, covering his face as she pulled away.
The next swipe caused the gray and brown molly to plunge right into the river. A screech of terror filled her as she hit the water, but not before she grappled the Gladeclan in with her. Hisses were cut off as water splashed over the two of them. Darkfire took the moment to stand on his hind legs, grateful to still be close enough to shore that he wouldn't have to swim. Swiping at Moonstar, he caught her shoulders with long sharp claws, before plunging her head below the water. Using all his weight, he held her below the surface, eyes glinting with such malice, one would think he was a dark forest warrior already. Claws scraped his shoulders as the leader struggled to free herself. Yet with each moment, the strikes grew weaker. Blood flowed around the two, both from Moonstar's wounds and Darkfire's.
After what felt like too many heartbeat's, the struggling stopped and Darkfire let out a yowl. A winning, blood-thirty, ambitious yowl. The rain poured down on the cats as Darkfire dragged the lifeless Willowclan back to the shore and flung her like a piece of prey on to the land below the sunning rocks. His body was lit up as lightning lit up the sky for many moments, showing him standing over the body of Moonstar. "SUNNING ROCKS IS OURS!"

He seemed unfazed by the wounds that were inflicted upon him. His fur was sleeked back from the pouring rain, his eyes glinting with each strike of lightning. Beside him, Splashfury helped keep the deputy down as the tom lunged forwards and latched his teeth around Redthorn's shoulder. Claws dug into Redthorn's belly, as his snarled in his ears. "You should've stayed in the safety of your nest, Redthorn."
As he lifted a paw to swipe across the toms face, the triumphant yowl sounded below them. Darkfire's voice rose up in the air and Snakevenom snatched his head up. Below, the body of Moonstar was soaked and bloody, Darkfire's black and orange body standing over her. Shoving Redthorn closer to the edge, he snarled. "Even your precious leader couldn't last a fight." He swiped at the deputies ears, before backing off. "Go. Take your clanmates and your leader and leave. The rocks are Gladeclan's."

Shaking the blood that dripped down his face, he watched as Mousepaw was kicked away and Duckpaw dove in to help her clanmates. Snarling, he tore after the Willowclan apprentice. Launching himself forwards, claws stretched out, he tackled her, Sending her face first into the rocks. Pinning her down, his hind legs scored her spine, his front paws holding her shoulders down. Hissing in her ear, he gave her a warning. "Stay out of this Duckpaw. Go home." Yet, as the warning left his maw, the battle cry was given from Darkfire that they had won. Moonstar had fallen. Shock flittered through his tan eyes for a moment as he caught a peek of his deputy standing over Moonstar's body. Doubt flickered through his gaze as he stepped off of Duckpaw. 'Warriors weren't suppose to kill in cold blood, right.? Maybe Darkfire had no choice. '
βΏWillowclan Character'sβΏ ___________________________ Eaglecry [Warrior][Tom][28 Moons] With; Duckpaw, Moonstar, Redthorn Where; The Sunning Rocks Patrol As he went to pull the Gladeclan apprentice from his sister, claws pulled him back. Turning in anger, the tom let out a challenging yowl. It was Brokenmist, distracting him while the two apprentices went after Duckpaw. Before he could retaliate, sharp claws sliced into his blind eye, causing him to screech in pain. Yanking away, blood poured down his face. Swiping with vicious claws, he hissed in satisfaction as he caught Brokenmist's ear-tips. Within heartbeats though, he was pinned to the ground. Rolling together, both soaked to the core, he tussled with the tom. While his claws swiped Brokenmist's shoulder, he felt claws tear through his sides. Blood pooled around them, spraying from each of the battling cats. He could hear the screeches of pain and anger coming from everyone. Flattening his ears, he swiped at Brokenmist again, trying to kick him away with powerful hind legs. Yet, before he could, Darkfire's yowl froze him in his spot. Orange eyes blazing, he struggled to free himself. 'Moonstar!' Was his leader alright.? She wouldn't have retreated. Did that mean..? 'No. She can't be dead.'

I Will get on tomorrow and make it pretty like the other posts, but I just HAD to get another reply in before i went to bed, ITS JUST TOO GOOD RIGHT NOW)
Redthorn >> Willowclan >> Moonstar -Redthorn took every blow that the Gladeclan warriors served out, each score they won making his anger burn hotter. Although he was out numbered and out powered, he fought as hard as he could. The yowls and snarls from his clanmates letting him know that they were still okay enough to keep fighting. The large red Somali had been pinned on the rocks, the wet and cold seeping into his fur, making his legs stiff with the wetness that steeped in. Snakevenom and Splashfury were two very strong fighters, their desire to please Darkfire sending them strength that Redthorn had not seen in normal clan cats before. Hissing, he raked his hind paws on Splashfurys belly as she towered over him laughing. Although it would be a fatal mark for a normal warrior, Splashfury seemed unfazed by the blood that pooled out from her underside, not making any difference in her attacks. All too soon, Darkfires yowl filled the stormy sky, sending chills down his spine. Every cat froze, Gladeclan warriors hollered with triumph as they claimed Sunning rocks as their own. Snake spitting in the Willowclan's deputy's ear that he should have stayed home made his tail lash so fiercely it would've whipped a cats eye clean out. "Even your leader couldn't stand a whole fight." Everything grew silent. Redthorn's eyes glazed over. Dare he look over to see what Darkfire held under his paws? Turning his head slowly, Moonstar's lifeless body lay on the rocks, the rain hitting her as she laid there, totally still. Fear gripping his heart, the large tom jumped up, the stinging in his shoulder from where one of Darkfire's cats had bitten him, he dashed over to his leader. His leader, his best friend, the love of his life, the one who light up the night, lifeless. Had Darkfire somehow managed to drain all nine lives of the leader while he had been too occupied with Snake and Splash? Had he failed his leader? "Moonstar!" Redthorn let out a gurgling scream. Turning his eyes on Darkfire who boasted of his clans victory, he hissed. "You may have done something here today, Darkfire, but its far from winning." He snarled, crouching down beside Moonstar's body, praying to Starclan that they would send her back to him. As her eyes fluttered beneath her eyelids, Redthorn took comfort in knowing that he had not taken all her lives from her, but the hatred in his heart burned with a new intensity that it scared himself. Gladeclan would pay for this.
Duckpaw >> Willowclan >> Eaglecry -Duckpaw fought, praying that her training would pay off. Although the fight seemed short, the screams that echoes off the rocks would last her a lifetime. This was her first real battle, one where she was not in the safety of the ferns with her mentor to call things off if it got to be too much. She had a duty, and it was to protect her leader, and right now, it felt as though all of Starclan were watching to see how she would do. Darting into the heat of the fight, little claws dug into the back of her legs, making her buckle face first into the rocks. A sickening crack filled her head as blood poured from her nose. Letting out a loud whimper, she flipped over, exposing her belly, a fatal mistake. She batted the empty air as the two apprentices nipped at her, winning bites all over her helpless body. "Stay out of this Duckpaw. Go home." The words made her heart flutter in a sickening yet comforting type of way. Mysticpaw didn't come here to hurt her, but maybe he had just been caught up in the mess like she had? Shaking the blood from her eyes, she felt the release of claws and jumped to her paws, her ears flat. Just as she was about to go after Mousepaw, Darkfires halting yowl filled the little tabby apprentices ears, rooting her to the rock she stood on. Mouth falling open, eyes wide, she froze. Moonstar was lifeless, her wet body forming to the rock Darkfire had laid it on, like some sort of dead trophy. Flattening her ears, she stalked forward. Catching the sight of her mentor, her eyes widened even more. Blood was pouring from his already blind eye, his wounds on the side of his body deep. Darting to his side, she pressed her body into his, feeling his weight come back on her nearly instantly. "Eaglecry. You're alright. I'm here." She whimpered, willing with everything in her that he would be alright.
___________________________________________________________
Brokenmist >> Gladeclan >> Alone Brokemist fought with half of his power, not wanting to be there in the first place. Causing unnecessary harm to the gentle warrior he knew well, he felt every score he landed tear a cut in his heart deeper each time. Pinning the tom, he let out a silent whimper, praying to Starclan that they would forgive him for the grievous deeds her was doing here today at Sunning Rocks. As the white and tabby tom was momentarily distracted, Eaglecrys powerful legs kicked him off, catching the soft pelt on his belly, the toms claws also sinking into his shoulder. Squeezing his eyes shut, he had stopped fighting, accepting the fate that the Willowclan warrior would serve out to him. It would be better than retuning with Darkfire to camp an getting punished by his leader for following him. Just as he had given up, Redthorns heart breaking cries filled the rocks. Jumping to his paws, disbelief filled him. Had Darkfire really killed the other clans leader in Cold blood? Disbelief filling him, he turned back to the ferns, not wanting to be there any longer.
Splashfury >> Gladeclan >> Darkfire Splashfury lashed out, her fur collecting clumps of Redthorn fur as they fought, her desire to actually line her nest with it sending her into a spiral of fury. As she fought, her eyes glazed over with a blood thirsty hunger, barely hearing Darkfires triumphed yowl of victory. Stopping, she lashed out one more time, missing, as Redthorn dashed to the helpless leaders side. "We can never be stopped." She snarled, looking eye to eye with the Willowclan warriors. They were dripping blood, their wounds far greater than Gladeclans. She slid her claws out, breathing in the pain that her cuts stung with. It gave her a nasty sense of power, of drive, seeing the blood around her that decorated the rocks, marking them as Gladeclans. "One day, Darkfire, you will have your own territory, and we will use the blood of our enemies as the markers on the border." She mewed sinisterly. "Starting off with Willowclan." She giggled, flicking her tail. "Suning Rocks is ours!" She chanted out with the large warrior, her eyes dark with the hatred and evil.
Mousepaw >> Gladeclan >> Mysticpaw Mousepaw froze as the cats began to cry. Her heart stopped as she looked over, seeing Darkfire perching on the lifeless leader of Willowclan. Darkfire had broken the warrior code, killing in cold blood. Her fear trickled through her body, making her little legs stiff, her breath catching in her throat. Darkfire. The deputy of Gladclan who had caused so many issues, here now on Sunning Rocks, Moonstars lifeless body under his paws. Sliding her claws out, she let out a loud yowl, launching herself at her own deputy. "You should be ashamed!" She screeched, her voice suddenly cut off as her brother tackled her down, shoving a paw onto her maw to stop her from talking. Staring in disbelief, she shoved him off of her, shaking the water from her pelt. "Mouse brain! I can't believe you would defend a cat like him! You all deserve to rot in the Darkforest." She hissed, her tail smacking him in the head as she turned away, leaving the rocks with Brokenmist.

___________________________
Darkfire [Deputy][Tom][45 Moons] With; Brokenmist, Splashfury, Snakevenom, Mysticpaw and Mousepaw. Where; Sunning Rocks At the gurgling scream that echoed around them, Darkfire simply stepped back, eyes flashing with disgust. He gazed harshly upon Redthorn and Moonstar, before scoffing at the tom. "Take your wounded and your leader and get off our land. " Leaning closer, his ears flattened and his eyes locked with Redthorns. The warning in his voice was so low and dangerous, but clear. "This is only the beginning, Redthorn. If your clan tries to take these rocks again." With a flick of his tail, he turned on paws and moved towards the top of Sunning rocks.
His dark green eyes flashed with excitement as Mousepaw's screech filled his ears. He unsheathed his claws as the little gray and white molly flung herself towards him. Yet, as her brother pinned her to the ground, he gave a snort. Leaping up the rocks, he gave Mysticpaw a gentle touch with his tail as his sister stormed away after Brokenmist. "You did well today, Mysticpaw. Sometimes to win a battle, you must take a life. Moonstar has plenty. And if I wouldn't have taken her life, she would have taken mine." His voice was soft, encouraging. His eyes glowing with reassurance to the white apprentice.
Flicking his tail, he moved along the rocks, leaving markers with Snakevenom and Splashfury. After a moment, he fixed Eaglecry and Duckpaw with a snarl, swiping at the two, driving them down the rocks towards their leader and deputy. Once he was sure they were leaving, he turned and signaled for his warriors to follow him back to camp. "Come, my friends. Let us share our victory with our clanmates. Get our wounds treated and eat some prey."

Snakevenom [Warrior][Tom][32 Moons] With; Darkfire's patrol Where; Sunning rocks While Redthorn dove down the slope, his screeches filling the air, Snakevenom stood in the pouring rain, watching the scene below. Beside him, Splashfury's laughter and taunting filled up the air, echoing around them. For a moment, the brown tabby simply stood there. Blood welled up from the scratches on his sides that Redthorn had given him. Yet the rain easily washed it away from his flanks and down the rocks. He shook his head, watching as Brokenmist walked away, followed by Mousepaw.
As Darkfire spoke with Mysticpaw, the warrior turned and started marking around the rocks, claiming them as Gladeclan's. A triumphant hiss escaped his maw and he flashed a look to where Darkfire was chasing Eaglecry and Duckpaw down the rocks to where Moonstar was starting to stir beside Redthorn. Upon his signal, the group followed the deputy back towards camp. Falling back, he walked at the rear of the group, eyes flashing as he watched around them.

β’ Mysticpaw [Apprentice][Tom][11 Moons] With; Darkfire's patrol Where; Sunning Rocks As his sister went after Darkfire, Mysticpaw's heart dropped from his chest to his paws. Or so it felt like it. Dread filled his eyes and he barreled his sister to the ground, covering her maw with his thick paw. His eyes were wide and warning to Mousepaw as she kicked him away and turned on him. The fury and disbelief was enough to break him. Yet the words she hissed at him, hurt him more than he could express. As she turned and stalked away, his ears flattened and he took a step after her. His maw was open to protest and explain himself to her, but the presence of Darkfire stopped him right in his tracks.
Looking up at the large black and orange tom, he dipped his head to the deputy. His words had his ears perking up and he tilted his head slightly at the dark toms praise. Relief flooded in his tan eyes as Darkfire told him that he had to kill Moonstar. 'He was only saving himself. He only has one life, as she has many.' As Darkfire walked away, he turned and followed after his sister. Ears swiveled back as he heard Darkfire leading the other two warriors after him and his retreating clanmates. While his mind was relieved that Darkfire hadn't killed Moonstar on purpose, Mysticpaw couldn't help but worry for his sister. Darkfire was her mentor, and from the look on his face when she charged him, he would not let it go.

Pebblepaw [Medicine cat Apprentice][Tom][6 Moons] With; Cherryfrost Where; Medicine Cats Den As she asked the question, Pebblepaw opened his maw to answer her, yet she silenced him with a flick of her tail. Closing his brown maw, he eyed her carefully. After a moment of listening intently, the medicine cat went back to shuffling through hers. 'Doesn't understand what.?' The question filtered through his mind as he watched her. She had clearly not heard the prophecy, nor could she hear it now. For a moment, a feeling of doubt filled his chest and he flattened his ears slightly. 'Maybe I'm mistaken. Why would Starclan share a prophecy with me, and not Cherryfrost.?'
His thoughts of doubt were quickly brushed aside as his mentor mentioned the journey to the Cave. He'd become an apprentice only a short time ago and hadn't made the journey to the caves yet. Typically the medicine cat's only left to the caves when it was terribly important, as it was 4 to 5 days before they returned back to their clans. His fur brushed up with excitement and he nodded. "I would love to go to the caves. Maybe Starclan will help us understand the prophecy. When do we get to leave.?"
(I thought maybe Pebblepaw would get the same vision as Speckpaw. Where everything is dry and dead. Maybe the riverbed is completely dried and fish are dead. And cats are scattered everywhere, lifeless. Where he can insist to Cherryfrost that something bad is coming.)

Applenose [Queen][Molly][43 Moons] With; Eaglestar and Kits Where; Nursery Turning leaf green eyes on her brown and white mate, Applenose tilted her head slightly. A question filled her gaze as she watched him for a moment, before giving a small shake of her head. "He's a loyal warrior to Gladeclan. A strong and capable tom, who is liked plenty by both warriors of our clan and Willowclan." She paused, her voice growing thick with concern. "However. He has always been ambitious." Touching her nose to his cheek, she questioned her mate. "Do you regret making him your deputy.? While he does cause issues for you, Eaglestar. Has he ever betrayed you or done you wrong.?"
Touching her tail to his flank, she met his gaze, her eyes full of love and reassurance for her mate and leader. While the deputy was difficult for Eaglestar, he couldn't question the toms actions. Everything he'd done so far, had been to benefit Gladeclan. Her mind wondered to her older son, Mysticpaw. She'd noticed in the last couple moons how close he'd gotten to the deputy, as well as his mentor and Snakevenom. Touching her nose once more to his cheek, she purred softly. "After all. You gave him our daughter to train. And Mysticpaw has taken a fondness to the deputy."
(Ohhh. The drama. Maybe Applenose has conflicted doubts about Darkfire. But sees him as he is. Loyal and strong. And not doing any wrong to Eaglestar personally. Maybe she is what helps Eaglestar keep turning his head to Darkfire's actions. But then when he tries to get rid of Eaglestar, then Applenose's eyes are opened up to the true nature of Darkfire. Of course he's blood-thirsty and ambitious. But he won't give away his intentions to betray Eaglestar for some time. And that'll be fun. >:3)

Spiderpaw [Apprentice][Molly][9 Moons] With; Frostpuddle Where; Camp At the mention of Darkfire and not bringing back anything useful. A snort escaped the lithe black molly as she nudged her mentor. "What do you think he's up to.?" While she was young still, the molly was observant enough to know that Darkfire was up to know good, just by the cats he had chosen to patrol with him. "It can't be good if Splashfury and Snakevenom are with him." She shook her small head, before heading from the camp, long tail waving behind her. Turning to look are Frostpuddle, she nodded agreement. A small smile formed on her maw and she trotted her way along to the twoleg bridge. "That sounds like a good idea."
Moving along, she opened her maw to scent the air. Around them, the forest had started to darken again as the storm started to pick up once more. Grateful for the protection of the leaves and trees, she purred slightly. "Thank Starclan for these trees. Or we'd be soaked." While water dripped on them here and there, it was a relief not to be a Willowclan warrior. They lived among the open land, with no protection at all. She scrunched her nose at the thought of living elsewhere.

β’ Cloudbreeze [Warrior][Molly][53 Moons] With; Articflame Where; Outside camp Even though she tried to distract her worrisome brother from Darkfire and his minions, his thoughts only seemed consumed by the deputy and his plans. A sigh escaped the cream and orange molly's maw and she gently ran her tail along his russet and brown fur. While his question was in her ears, Cloudbreeze simply shook her head. She knew just as well as her brother, that Darkfire would smooth talk his way out of this as well. "I assume that Eaglestar will have words with him, and once more, Darkfire will find a way to convince him that he did this for us and not his own blood-thirst."
Shaking her head, she slunk along, keeping close enough to Articflame that their fur brushed. While neither of them trusted, nor cared for the deputy, they couldn't speak up against him. What could they do or say.? Darkfire had the clan in his clutch, and he knew it. "After all. Darkfire has never done anything against Gladeclan. Therefore, we can't do a single thing to him. Anyone would ever see just an ambitious tom, that while blood-hungry, only did things to benefit Gladeclan." She flicked her tail in the direction that they had come. "For example. Claiming Sunning rocks for Gladeclan. " She sighed sadly, disappointment spreading across her face. "I just have a bad feeling about him. But I can't do anything about it."

Frostrose [Warrior][Molly][34 Moons] With; Emberpaw Where; In camp. After some time of trying to sleep, Frostrose finally sighed and got to her paws. Pausing to lick her fur until it was flattened and silky, she sighed. Everyone else seemed busy or out of camp, leaving her alone. Slipping from the den, she spotted Eagelstar partway out of the nursery. Weaselsong was slipping from the elders den. Finally, her gaze spotted Emberpaw. The apprentice was alone, with no one else around. Tilting her head slightly, she wondered what the tom was up to. "Hey, Emberpaw. Where's Cloudbreeze.? And where's everyone else.?" It was weird to see so many out of camp. Had she missed something.?
Sitting next to the cream and brown apprentice, she couldn't help but feel like she had something in common with the tom. Both their siblings had chosen the path of a medicine cat, leaving them alone in the warrior world. While she respected her sister and was happy to have her to heal their clanmates, she often wondered what it would have been like to train with her. She was curious if the young apprentice felt the same about his brother.

Shaking his head, he settled on his haunches to give everyone more room. Touching his nose to his mates swollen belly, he gave a soft purr of greeting to his unborn kits. Glancing to Stormslip, he flicked his ears slightly. While he wasn't one of Darkfire's followers, he held a different sort of respect for the tom. He was his mates brother. And while he wasn't a very gentle deputy to anyone, he held a kindness for his sister, that Rushingfire appreciated. Shrugging slightly, he only shook his head, not wanting to say anything wrong. "I suppose Darkfire felt like leading a patrol himself this morning. Everyone else is out hunting or training. Besides, I left early to catch something fresh for you and Applenose. Darkfire and his patrol was just leaving as I was returning."
Wanting to change the subject before anyone started to ask questions about Darkfire and his patrol, the large orange tom gave his mate's flank a loving grooming, "I can't wait to meet our kits. I bet they'll be as beautiful as you."

While he was hungry, he only teased his mate. He would take anything the molly brought him. With a yawn, the tom revealed cracked and broken teeth, before resting his head on his paws. He closed his blind eyes, listening intently for his mates return. Near him, he could hear Graypebbles mumbling as she talked to anyone that would listen to her. "Oh, Graypebble. Graypebble [Elder][Molly][87 Moons] With; The Elders Where; Elders Den Watching as Weaselsong left the den, Graypebble gave a shake of her head. She mumbled under her breath, glancing at the older toms in the den. As Clawstrike addressed her, she gave him a short hiss, though her eyes lit up with a tease. "You try being stuck in this den well before you should have been. It drives you mad." She stretched out her stiff joints as she spoke, pawing at Elmshade's black flank. "What about you, Elm.? Did you get any sleep.?" She offered the eldest tom of Gladeclan a smile. While he was the oldest, he was truly in the best shape of the group. A tease flickered in her gaze as she nosed him. "Before you know it, you'll be catching up to old Lilacdawn. Starclan knows how she's so old and doing so well. Some of you are just blessed. While others are cursed."

βΏWillowclan Character'sβΏ ___________________________
Moonstar [Leader][Molly][55 Moons] With; Redthorn, Eaglecry, Duckpaw Where; Sunning Rocks Patrol.
As Moonstar felt her paws slip from under her, a startled cry escaped her maw, only to be cut short as her head went underwater. Kicking out with strong legs, she swam to the surface, coughing and sputtering. Moving closer to shore, she lashed out at Darkfire, who stood before her. Just as she went to dive at the tom, his claws caught her shoulders and he shoved her below the surface of the water. Using all his weight, he held her down, digging long sharp claws deep into her skin. Holding her breath, the Willowclan leader clawed at his arms, struggling to free herself. Her moment of calm was slowly fading away from her as her lungs started to burn. Blood filled the water around her head, both from her own flank, as well as the Gladeclan deputies legs. When she couldn't hold her breath any longer, she opened her maw to take in a breath, that only filled her lungs with the water she had tried so hard not to take in. Her strikes at Darkfire grew weaker as her lungs felt like they would explode. Darkness took over her vision and her struggles grew still as her second life was stripped from her body.
*Many moments later*
Moonstar's eyes flickered as she regained consciousness, yet her eyes stayed closed. Strength slowly returned to her aching limbs and her chest rose and fell as she welcomed the fresh air into her lungs. Her head spun as she heard her clanmates around her. Darkfire was driving them down the rocks. Sunning rocks had been lost. Keeping still until the sound of the Gladeclan patrol's retreat, Moonstar finally let her eyes open. She gazed at her wounded and defeated clanmates, her eyes echoing their pain and fear. Slowly, she struggled to her paws. While her lungs had been healed and her heart beat once more, her body still bore the marks of Darkfire and his claws. Blood dripped from her cheek, from her shoulders, across her chest. Yet, her warriors looked worse. Redthorn was bleeding from his shoulder and ear-tip. Marks on his flank. Duckpaw had blood pooling from her face. And Eaglecry...
A shocked meow left her maw as she touched the warrior that bore the most marks. Blood pooled from his blinded eye, claw marks had shredded his eye. His flanks bore the deep claw marks of one of the Gladeclan warriors. He was leaning heavily against his apprentice. Yet, as she gazed at him, he offered her a weak smile. A deep growl rumbled in her chest and she nudged each of her clanmates gently. "Come. We must return to camp and get our wounds treated." Limping towards the river, she slipped into the water, standing a little ways to help her clanmates across. She didn't discuss their defeat, nor the loss of her life. Yet, her eyes glimmered with a haunted look, that the drowning had clearly put on her.

β’ Eaglecry [Warrior][Tom][28 Moons] With; Duckpaw, Moonstar, Redthorn Where; The Sunning Rocks Patrol Stumbling to his paws, Eaglecry looked around frantically for his apprentice. A soft whimper escaped his maw as he blinked the water and blood out of his good eye. When Duckpaw met up at his side, relief washed over him so quickly, that he put much of his weight upon his sister. Her whimpers filled his ears and caused his ears to flatten. For a moment, anger only filled him, yet he simply kept his maw shut. Challenging Darkfire and his warriors would only do more damage. Looking over Duckpaw and her wounds, he gave her an encouraging lick, only to hiss as Darkfire drove them down the rocks towards Moonstar and Redthorn. He glared at the deputy as they were herded of the rocks that were no longer Willowclans.
When Moonstar woke, he offered the horrified molly a small, weak smile. His orange eyes was bright with exhaustion and pain. His shredded eye burned and his flanks stung. As Moonstar led them back to the river, he nudged Duckpaw along, grateful to Moonstar for waiting for her. He had to focus enough on getting himself across, without worrying about the little molly. With a deep breath, she dove into the water and weakly made his way across. With much effort, he pulled himself onto the other side of Willowclan territory, heaving for breath. "Starclan knows that I'll be glad to get back home. " While he was trying to lighten the situation, he too struggled to find anything good at the moment,β’β

Sweetstorm [Queen][Molly][40 Moons] With; Hawkwhisper Where; Nursery For a moment, the beautiful queen just gazed upon her four kits. Her heart ached for the task they would be forced to do now. Finally, she sighed and nosed each of her kits, even the lifeless ones. Eyes gray with sadness, she turned to another soon to be mother. Watching the molly lay on her side, belly swollen, she gently pawed the caliby's paw. "Applespring, please watch over my kits for a little bit. They've fed enough until I get back. I must bury my lost children." After a moment, she picked up the two kits. The one that looked closest to her, Thunderkit, let out an angry wail as she moved him to her friends belly. Giving him a few licks, she waited until he settled, before moving her daughter to rest beside her brother.
After a moment more of watching her two living kits, she turned to her mate. Touching her nose to his, gray eyes met his green ones. "Come, love. Let's go put Mistkit and Shadowkit to rest. Then we can share a meal." Turning, she picked up her orange daughter with the one black paw. Nudging Mistkit to Hawkwhisper, she waited until he picked the kit up, before turning and padding from the nursery and out of camp. She immediately headed towards the direction of the stepping stones. While it was a bit of a hassle to carry the lifeless bodies across the river, almost every fallen warrior was taken to the forest over the river. The woods felt the closest to Starclan to the Gladeclan warriors. She would lay her kits to rest there, where many of the fallen of Gladeclan lay.

β’ Featherblossom [Medicine Cat][Molly][65 Moons] With; Speckpaw Where; Medicine Cat's Den As Speckpaw came to, the look of terror in his eyes startled her. His little body trembled against her as he stared off, stammering about what he had saw. As he whimpered, hiding against her thick coat of fur, she wrapped her fluffy tail around him, holding him closer to her. Her eyes were serious pools of gray as she gazed at the little black apprentice. His entire body was hidden, besides his face as he started to speak again. 'Dry and dark..Dead bodies everywhere..' The words swarmed in her head as he started to explain to her.
Opening her maw to offer words of comfort, her words caught in her throat. Just then, a cough sounded and she practically jumped out of her fur, ears flattening. Whipping around, her gaze caught Spruceripple as she lingered at the den entrance. She eyed the elder closely for a moment, a silent warning to the molly that if she had heard anything, to keep it to herself. After a moment, she spoke. Her voice was soft and welcoming, though her gray eyes still held caution as she approached Spruceripple. "Are you here for the daily herbs for you and your denmates, Spruceripple.?" Glancing back at Speckpaw, she blinked warmly at her apprentice, encouraging him to start getting the herbs for the aching elders. "I apologize for the delay. Sweetstorm's kitting was quite a handful through the night. We will be there shortly. Please let your denmates know that we are sorry."

Tinypaw [Apprentice][Tom][6 Moons] With; Lilypath, Feathersoul Where; The Twoleg Bridge Patrol As they moved away from the camp, Tinypaw trotted beside his mother. Once a few fox-lengths from camp, he watched as Feathersoul stepped back and allowed his mentor to take the lead. Upon reaching his side, she turned and asked him which direction they should go today. Ears pricked up and eyes widened in excitement at the idea of getting to make the decisions. Thinking for only a split second, he gave a nod before answering. "Well, Moonstar and her patrol went to Sunning rocks. And Nightfeather took a patrol into the forest to hunt. So I believe we should scout the twoleg bridge. It's still early in the day, and the rain will keep the twolegs away, so it's the perfect time to make sure Gladeclan is keeping to their side of the bridge."
While his eyes held confidence in his decision, tiny paws shuffled slightly to show that he was anxious. Had he made the right decision.? Would his mentor be proud of his choice.? Would she agree with him.? Holding his breath, he held Lilypath's gaze for a moment before glancing at Feathersoul. After a quick nod from his mother and a tiny flick of her tail, he headed towards the twoleg bridge.

They led the apprentices through the forest in silence for a moment, before Sagefur meowed his agreement to where they were going. Without another word, a tail flicked her side and the warrior bolted away. Nightfeather gave a purr of amusement, before flicking her tail to the apprentices. "Come on, Sparrowpaw, Willowpaw. Let's race!"
Turning tail, the calico molly dove after Sagefur. He had disappeared at this point, so she was led to him by scent alone. Rounding a corner, she recoiled as the tom jumped at her, batting her over the ears. Swiping at him, she caught him over the side of his head in a playfully swat, before pulling his legs right out from under his body. "HA! That's what you get!" Touching her nose to the toms, she turned and raced away, heading for the edge of the tree line. Excitement coursed through her as the scents of the farmland filled her nose.

As Lilypath gave Tinypaw the option to make the decision of where the patrol would go, Feathersoul gave a proud purr. Her usual worries of her undersized kit were brushed away for a quick moment. Yet as she watched his paws shuffle and anxiety wash over him, her anxieties for the young tom returned. Yet, the confidence in his little eyes met her gaze for a moment. Giving a small nod and a flick of her tail, she encouraged Tinypaw to follow through with his decision. Confidence was key to leading a patrol.
With a final look at his mentor, she watched the little brown and white tom slink away, heading through the trees and towards the twoleg bridge. She noted the direction he took, leading them the quickest way towards the clearing where the two clans met for gathers. While the open clearing was Gladeclan's, it was neither clan's on the nights of the full moon. From the twoleg bridge to the willows and grasslands on the other side, belonged to Willowclan.

Sparrowfeather [Warrior][Tom][68 Moons] With; Mudfern Where; Warriors Den
As his brothers tail smacked his nose, Sparrowfeather gave a low growl. He didn't move for a bit, trying to force himself back asleep. Yet, no matter how tightly he closed his eyes, the brown warrior couldn't drift back asleep. After a moment, he gave an agitated huff and got to his paws. Slinking out of the warriors den, he blinked the rain from his eyes. For a moment, he thought about retreating to his nest again, then thought better of it. His brother had decided to grab a mouse to eat and was sitting alone.
Slipping up to Mudfern, he settled on his haunches. Silence sat between them for a moment, before he gave his brother a playful nudge. "Hey. I'm sorry. I'm just tired, as I'm sure we all are." He looked around the camp for a moment, noticing many of their clanmates gone. Anxiety prickled at his paws for a moment as he noticed that even Redthorn and Moonstar didn't appear to be around. "Where is everyone.? It's odd that both Moonstar and Redthorn have left."

She gave a happy skip, before flicking her tail at her brother. "Come on Sparrowpaw! I know a shortcut." Tapping her brother with her tail, she led him in a loop, diving under fallen trees and skirting around bushes. Her legs bunched beneath her as she maneuvered through he forest to the edges of the tree line. Upon reaching the edges of the trees, she glanced back to see if Nightfeather and Sagefur had caught up to them. "Ha! Beat em! They probably got distracted." She huffed, eyes flittering with mischief. While she was young, she could see the warmth in Nightfeather's amber eyes whenever Sagefur was around her.

As Lilacdawn spoke, he listened to her, eating part of his mouse. When she had finished speaking, he twitched his ears and spoke up. "I saw quite a few leaving on patrols. Moonstar and Redthorn took a patrol out together. I suppose to check on the sunning rocks. Starclan knows that blood-hungry Gladeclan deputy will try to snatch them away from us. The storm is a perfect excuse. Like they think we'll be afraid of a little water. HA!" He shook his head for a moment, before patting the floor of the den. "Everyone knows that Willowclan is the best in swimming."

Redthorn || Moonstar & Eaglecry & Duckpaw
Redthorn looked around at his little patrol. They had taken the worst of the battle while Moonstar had lost a life. Keeping his ears flat, he glared at Darkfires patrol. Snakevenom was gloating on top of the rocks, Brokenmist had disappeared along with Mousepaw, and Splashfury sat and laughed, licking what little wounds she had. Sighing heavily, he figured it would be smart to take his wounded and just go, there was no point in trying to fight anymore, regardless, the attitude that rolled off the Gladeclan cats that gave him a weird feeling, like he could sink his teeth into the deputy and watch the life drain out of him. Moonstars words snapped him out of the dark place he was in. His eyes opened wide as he recalled the thoughts that ran through his mind. What had gotten into him? It was a simple loss, one that took his leaders life. They would fight another day, and today was not that day. Just as the Willowclan deputy lifted Moonstar to her paws, Darkfire nipped at their back legs, sending the little group quickly down from the rocks. Letting out a loud hiss, he followed behind the small group of wounded cats. Poor duckpaw was limping badly, her hind leg covered in blood, Eaglecry had a nasty gouge on his already missing eye, and Moonstar.... Looking ahead, he watched as his leaders haunted eyes slipped into the water, emerging from the other side. Redthorn felt dread sink deep into his belly, something wasn't right, and even though todays battle was over, things with the blood thirsty deputy of Gladeclan was going to cause a lot more problems than what he was worth. With another sigh, he watched as Eagle as Duckpaw crossed, her eyes wide as her legs churned the water, propelling her little body across. She fought well today, enough for her to be a warrior. Although she was still young, he would talk to Moonstar when the time was right. She deserves that much. As eaglecry crossed, Redthorn crossed with him, his eyes never leaving the half blind warrior until he crossed.
The walk back to camp was silent. No words were shared. Not even a sigh, from Duckpaw. As the little group pushed their way into camp, gasps from those returning from patrols and others that had been sitting in camp watched in horror as the little group pushed their way in, tails dragging the ground. Pausing at the entrance, Redthorn watched as Moonstar went to her den without a word, leaving Duckpaw to lead Eaglecry to the Medicine Cats Den. Blinking in defeat, he padded to the den with Duckpaw and her mentor. "Cherryfrost, we need..." He mewed, words stopping when his eyes laid on the two, obviously frazzled cats. "What's going on in here?" The air was way to tense, and he had not even gotten to mention their scuffle at Sunning Rocks.
Duckpaw || Redthorn & Moonstar & Eaglecry
Duckpaw had left the fight behind her at Sunning Rocks. They lost. She was just thankful to have made it out with her life. Her life. The thoughts hit her hard. She would have given her life so Moonstar could keep the one she lost. Shaking her head, she pushed through the camps entrance, her legs burning with the cuts they were decorated with. Licking Eagelcrys hurt eye, she directed him to a nest set outside the Medicine Cats den, set out for the cats who needed medical attention, but didn't want to hide in the shadows of the Medicine Cats Den. Licking her mentor on the head once more, she turned to where Redthorn was rooted in his place inside the Medicine Cats Den, his hind end stuck out the entrance. By the looks of it, he was occupied and another cat in the Den wouldn't be the smartest choice at the moment. Sighing, she turned back to her mentor. "Looks like Redthorn is going to let the Medicine Cats know what happened. They should be out in a second." She sat down next to her mentor, wincing in pain as her hurt let jutted out beside he. Scanning her wounds, she began to tenderly lick them. "Eaglecry. I messed up. I could've taken those two apprentices, but my mind was so distracted... I failed you guys." Looking up in her mentors eye, a whimper came out of her as tears fell from her eyes. She felt horrible about how everything went down. She fought with her mentor and leader, and of course, one of her leaders lives had been lost. If she had not been tangled with the two apprentices from Gladeclan, she could've been there to stop Darkfire from hurting anyone.
Hawkwhisper || Sweetstorm
Hawkwhisper nodded his head. The kits that were never given a chance had to at least have the proper sending away, and this one thing Hawkwhisper could do. "We should let Moonstar know before we go so she can help send them off. Properly." The large tom mewed. The camp had been quite, but all of a sudden, commotion outside the nursery drew his attention from his mate and lost kits. Flicking his tale in irritation, he turned and poked his head out, watching Duckpaw and Eaglecry. The two looked harmed. Flattening his ears he pushed his way out. "Eaglecry. What in Starclan's name happened?" He demanded. If this was going to ruin his sending away for his kits, he would have a cats ears as a pillow in his nest. Demanding a response, he sat down.
Speckpaw || Featherblossom
Speckpaw just stood there. The elders drawing his friend and mentor away from his side. The words she repeated slammed him like a warrior in battle. Things were so messed up. Lost in the thoughts shown to him by Starclan, the smell of fresh blood hit him, shaking him again. Looking around wildly, the sight of Redthorn sent him into a spiral. It was happening. Bolting out of the den, nearly knocking over the deputy on his way out. Streaking into the center of the clearing, Speckpaws heavy breathing and wild eyes taking in everything. No one was dead, no one was dying, so where did the smell of fresh blood come from? Sniffing the air, his attention snapped to his leaders den. Padding over, his eyes revealed what his heart could barely handle. Moonstar was soaking wet, covered in blood. Letting himself in, he stood at the entrance, his half tail dropping. "Moonstar." The little apprentice mewed, his voice nearly echoing in the silence of the large empty den. "What happened..," He whispered, sniffing his leader from head to toe.
Lilypath || Tinypaw & Feathersoul
(Waiting to hear from you in you'd like this patrol as well to just be coming home. Maybe Moonstar would like to address the clan on what happens?)
Sagefur || Nightfeather & Sparrowpaw & Willowpaw
(Do you want them to be coming back as well?)
Mudfern || Sparrowpaw
Mudfern snorted. "If you think I'm upset, you've read me all wrong, brother." He jested, flicking his tail, tapping the tip of his tall brothers nose. The two were nearly Identical, their fur just slight shades of different browns. Sitting next to each other, there were little ways to tell them apart. "Oh would you calm down. If you hadn't spent half of the day kicking me in the belly, you'd know that most of the cats are out on patrol. Moonstar and Redthorn took Duckpaw and Eagelcry on a patrol. By the looks..." The large, tall toms words were cut short as many thing unfolded before his eyes. Moonstars patrol limped in, and they were covered in battle scars. He felt his fur rise as their leaders haunted looks silenced everyone she looked at. Watching with wide eyes as Duckpaw guided Eagle to the nest outside the Medicine Cats Den, while Redthorn poked his head inside the den. Just as Mudfern opened his mouth to speak again, Speckpaws wild eyes darting around while he darted into the clearing made his stomach churn. "What in Starclans name is going on.." He whispered, sitting upright. Unlike his brother, Mudfren was not prone to anxiety, but rather action. Whatever was wrong, Mudfern wanted to handle it.
Eveningeye || Lilacripple & Flamestreak & Spruceripple
Eveningeye was grateful for the three elders he shared the den with. The mouse that was put in front of him made his mouth water. "I bet those kits are the cutest thing this clan will ever lay eyes on." The old tom whispered, his eyes bright. Taking a bight, commotion in the clearing got his attention. "What do you think is going on out there?" He whispered, not lifting his head from his mouse. "If Moonstar took a patrol to Sunning Rocks, its inevitable that the Gladeclans blood thirsty deputy was there waiting for them." He chuckled, not realizing how narcotic he sounded.
Spruceripple || All the Elders
Spruceripple frowned. She had pbviosly interrupted something important, and by the looks of it, it was a big thing. Stepping back as Featherblossom instructed her to go back to her den and wait for the herbs, she bumped right into the deputy. Gasping, she spun around, her flank now spotted with the blood that was dripping from the deputies shoulder. flattening her ears, she stepped aside as Speckpaw darted out of the den, his little eyes wild. Utterly confused, she raced back to the safety of her den with her companions. "I have no herbs for you, and by the looks of everything outside in the clearing, it will be a minute." The elder mewed, her voice obviously on edge.

Eaglestar || Applenose Addressing Darkfire and PatrolEaglestar listened as his mate spoke. Most days, he regretted his decision of making Darkfire his deputy, but like his mate, most cats seemed to fancy him. He could see where they were coming from, he was fiercely loyal and has never outwardly disobeyed him, but ever since he was given the power of deputy, something about the toms thirst made Eaglestar's fur crawl. "you're right." He whispered, touching his nose to the pretty cream queen. "He has done our clan no harm, but it is my job to worry." He mewed, thoughtful. He had given their own daughter to him to train, and he prayed to Starclan every day that Mysticpaw would grow to be a strong warrior like Darkfire when it was her time. Rising to his paws, he glanced down at his new kits one last time before leaving, the duties of being a leader calling him away. "If you need anything my love, don't be afraid to call for me." He mewed as he padded out, his tail high in happiness. The clan was thriving, he couldn't help but notice. Kits were being born, their elders were healthy, regardless of their aching bones from the previous nights storm, the apprentices were growing everyday in their training, and warriors were strong, maintaining their duties around. As Eaglestar had paused in the middle of camp, admiring his family around him, the cheerful noise of patrols returning made his paws itch in excitement. Darkfire hadn't let him down this time, but had managed to call a few cats out to patrol this morning, despite Eaglestar being engulfed with his mate. The leaders ears flattened when a patrol emerged from the entrance. It was Darkfire and the other cats who worried Eaglestar daily. They were covered in wounds, and the scent of Willowclan was strong on their fur. Holding his breath, the sight of his daughter limping in made his heart drop. "Darkfire." Eaglestar mewed, his words heavy with disapproval. "Mind telling me where you've been and why no other patrols have went out today?" He hissed, stepping closer to the large deputy. Confusion flicked in his cool green eyes as Brokenmist and Mousepaw emerged as well. Brokenmist looked very down-trodden, his tail nearly between his legs. The mostly reserved warrior didn't turn to the Medicine Cats Den, but rather to his nest. Watching, Eaglestar's tail flicked in irritation as he waited for his deputy to answer. Stormslip || Rushingfire NurseryStormslip appreciated her mates respect to her brother, seeing Darkfire could have a very touchy disposition, he was thankful for his kindness to her and her mate. "Regardless. Someone needs to box that cats ears." She grumbled, lowering her head to her leader as he made his way out of the nursery. "Patrols must be returning now, Eagelstar looked worried..." She whispered, not wanting Applenose, the leaders Queen to hear her gossiping. Deciding it best to change the subject before the wrong ears heard, a purr ripped out of her throat. The thought of her kits dancing around her paws, making her life happy made the queens heart nearly explode. "Rushingfire, I only hope that one or two turn out just like you." She mewed, licking her mates paws. "They will be here any day now I would think, If Applenose has delivered, I shouldn't be too far behind." Brokenmist || Darkfire & Snakevenom & Mousepaw & Mysticpaw & Splashfury || CampBrokenmist trudged back to camp, Darkfires patrol following. Little Mousepaw had followed him as he left, her fury filling the area where the rocks where when she saw that Darkfire had killed out of cold blood, was enough to make any cats blood turn cold, unless you were Darkfire of course. Sighing, letting his tail drag through the mud, Brokenmist stopped to wash the blood and clumps of fur from his claws in a near by puddle. The coldness of the water stung, but not any less than his deeds he had just done. Watching as Darkfires group danced past him, gloating in the hideous victory that they had just claimed. Frowning, he padded behind them now. As the tabby and white tom pushed through camp, his leaders eyes rested on him, making his fur hot. Not making eye contact back to his strong leader, Brokenmist turned for the warriors den. Maybe sleep would erase all the things he had just seen. Maybe sleep would ease his mind. Splashfury || Darkfires Patrol Entering camp.Splashfury watched as Snake began to mark the area, the final sign of victory for them. Mousepaws outburst of anger made another hideous giggle escape her. "What a mouse-brain." She hissed at Snakevenom as the little apprentice was tackled down by her own brother. Sniffing, she followed Brokenmist and the angry apprentice off the rocks, Darkfires instruction to head back to camp ringing in her ears. "Darkfire, Eaglestar would be a mouse-brain to be upset over our victory here." She mewed, her tail entwining with Darkfires. As hard as Splashfury tried to win Darkfires loyalty and heart, Darkfire always seemed to keep her a fox-length away from him, making Splashfurys drive stronger, yet making her irritation grown fiercely. Splashfury dismissed Darkfires attitude towards her and bounded past Brokenmist, making her the first one to enter the camp. Eaglestar seemed to be waiting for them, seeing he was sitting right in front of the camp entrance. Twitching her ears, she made her way to the fresh kill pile, picking out a fat bird for her and Darkfire to share. The black she-cats fur made it very easy to see her blood that oozed from her cuts, turning the heads of all the cats she padded past. Sniffing, she turned to a shadowed corner of the camp, waiting. Mousepaw || Mysticpaw In camp Mousepaw headed to camp, not wanting to be around her brother of anyone else for that matter. Seeing him defend him over protecting her made her little sensitive heart shatter. How could he do that to her? Wasn't one of the things Darkfire taught him was to be loyal to blood over the rest of the things in life? Darting away, the tears that streamed from her eyes caught on her cheek fur. As she entered camp, her fathers presence was nearly to much for her to bear in that moment. Turning past him, not wanting to talk to him, she made her way directly to the apprentices den, just as Brokenmist went to the Warriors den. Cherryfrost || Pebblepaw Medicine Cats DenCherryfrost's irritation filled the den. She had heard nothing, but by the looks of things, her apprentice did. Why would Starclan not give her the same vision? Was she not good enough for them any longer? Wanting to hiss in anger but holding her tongue for the sake of her apprentice, she shuffeled her herbs more. "If we are to take the three day trip to the stones, we must warn Eaglestar-" Her words were cut off as the smell of wounds caught her attention. Someone was bleeding. Looking at her apprentice, she sighed. "Grab some cobble webs please, and meet me outside the den. Someone is bleeding." She mewed, her words holding no emotion. As the long haired she-cat left her den, the sight of Darkfire's patrol returning made her nose wrinkle. They stank of Willowclan and blood. Flattneing her ears at her leaders arrogance towards the wounded cats, she pushed past him, standing nose to nose with the deputy. "Let me take care of your wounds, some of them are deep. You can answer to Eaglestar afterwards." She instructed, not waiting for any answer from the cats she tended too. Frostpuddle || Spiderpaw In CampFrostpuddle shook out her fur. Her paws were tired from padding up and down the territory, the rain totally soaking the two to their bones. "Spiderpaw, Whatever Darkfire decides to do shall not concern us, at least not this time." She huffed. Darkfire lit something inside the pit of her belly like no other cat could, and it was not one that someone enjoyed. Crossing a small stream of water the rain had created through their territory, she carefully watched as her apprentice followed in her foot steps. Spiderpaw was a wonderful apprentice, one that most mentors strived to have. She was well behaved, rarely got into mischief, and always did her best, making Frostpuddles work as a mentor, really easy. Glancing lovingly at her apprentice, she began to pick up the pace, camp being close now. As the two entered the camp, Darkfires patrol nearly blocked the entrance. Huffing she waited for one of the cats to move to allow her and her apprentice in. Nearly jumping out of her fur as Articflame and Cluoudbreeze returned to camp as well, she turned. The two had been out as well, but not as part of Darkfire's patrol. Frostpuddle and Cloudbreeze got along quite well, seeing their attitudes were nearly the same. Dipping her head, she welcome the two to the waiting line that formed outside the camp. "Hello." She mewed simply, flicking her tail. Articflame || Spiderpaw & Frostpuddle & Cloudbreeze Outside campArticflame listened to his sister. She was right, Darkfire had done nothing forthright to make the clan worry, but the toms blood thirst was visible to those who watched him. "Why would Eaglestar choose Darkfire though..." He mewed, his mind lost in thought. The two had been walking through the territory for a few hours, long enough for the rain to stop and start again, this time with more of an intensity than before. Sighing, he looked up to his sister. "Lets head back to camp. Im sure Darkfire will return shortly, and if Eaglestar is going to confront the deputy, I would like to be there to see it." Stopping, Frostpuddle and Spiderpaw sitting outside the camp caught his attention. "I wonder whats going on." He mewed, pausing as Frostpuddle welcomed them to wait with them. "Great. Darkfire and his patrol are making us wait out here." He frowned, his tail lashing. Emberpaw || Frostrose Inside CampEmberpaw looked up as Frostrose sat next to him. Dipping his little head to the larger warrior, he sighed. He spent most of his days alone, his one sibling being called away to help the clan in a way different than him. Although Emberpaw sat and slept alone, the little tom was usually optimistic about it. "I think Articflame and Cloudbreeze went out on their own patrol." The tom murmured. "Darkfire and his followers went out, but they're back now, look." He mewed, turning Frostrose's focus to the patrol who retuned wearing the marks of Willowclan. "I wonder what they got into this time." He whispered, adjusting his paws, tucking them under his body. "Whatever it was, it doesn't seem like Eaglestar is very thrilled. What could the deputy do that would upset our leader so much?" He questioned, his innocence great. Weaslesong || EldersWeaslesong left the elders den, her spirits high. Although the rain caused her bones to ache, she dismissed the feelings, not wanting to admit her age to anyone. Padding across camp to the fresh kill pile, she picked out the fattest rabbit that was left, a bird for herself, and two smaller moles for the other two for the other two elders that shared her den. Turning around, the sight of the deputy and his patrol returning made her paws stop. They were covered in the claw marks of other cats. Sighing, she padded past. "Always into trouble you are.." She hissed into Darkfires ears as Cherryfrost distracted the leader from him. Entering the elders den again, she placed the fresh kill in front of everyone. "Darkfire has done something once more, and this time, I don' think anyone can defend him." She muttered, blinking her clouded eyes. Elmshade || EldersElmshade coughed, his raspy voice filling the den. "I did not sleep one wink." He muttered, his voice filled with gravel. The old warrior flattened his ears as Greypebble spoke. "If you hate it so much in here, why don't you go back to the warriors den give us some peace and quiet." He muttered, his tail tucking under his side as the black tom spoke. He had little patience for complainers, and the elders were sure good at it. As Weaslesong returned, he flattened his ears. "I am more than capable of fetching my own food..." He hissed, slapping the bird with a heavy paw.

(The two willowclan patrols we had going out, that we decided to have them coming back. I realized I never put them up, so here they are! lol) Lilypath || Tinypaw & Feathersoul Returning to CampDespite the dreadful time she had during this patrol, she was proud of herself for maintaining composure when Tinypaws mother jutted in during training to help Tinypaw. The way the queen always watched Tinypaw, like he was going to break any second, got under Lily's nerve like nothing else. It was like Feathersoul was thinking that the little apprentice was going to just disappear one day. Shaking her head, she listened as Tinypaw rambled on about the fat mouse he caught earlier, his mother listening with fierce intent. As the small group padded into camp, the sight of Redthorn and others in the camp, wounded, made her ears flatten and her fur rise. "Tinypaw, I think we're done for today. Go rest, or something." She mewed, her eyes locked on Redthorn's body. He was hurt, and it looked painful. Sniffing the air, she decided that she would confront Speckpaw, as he and Cherryfrost worked on him. "Cherry, Speck, what happened? Are you alright Redthorn?" She asked, sniffing his fur all over. Lilypath had no boundaries when it came to the deputy, the burning in her soul to be mates with him driving her like a cat running from rogues.
Sagefur || Nightfeather & Sparrowpaw & Willowpaw Returning to CampSagefur sat near the two-leg bridge, waiting for the apprentices to finish fishing for a last few pieces of prey. He had always enjoyed going out with Nightfeather, her willingness to have fun making for great adventures when the two went out together. She had always chosen different cats to go out with her, but when she chose him, it made his day. Sagefur was known for his troublemaking ways, but the tom never did anything out of hate or despite, he never truly disliked any cat that he crossed paths with, he just simply always tried to find the fun side of every thing. "Alright, I think it's time we head back, we've nearly been gone all day, and I'm sure Moonstar is wondering where we ran off too." He mewed, shooting Nightfeather a look filled with mischief.

βΏWillowclan Character'sβΏ ___________________________
Moonstar [Leader][Molly][55 Moons] With; Speckpaw Where; Leader's Den.
Upon reaching the camp, Moonstar walked straight to her den. Her feathery tail, now caked in dirt and blood was dragging behind her. One had never seen the beautiful leader look so haunted, defeated, and dirty. The gasps of horror at the sight of the patrol, quickly silenced as Moonstar padded past each of them, hardly meeting their gazes. She couldn't face them at the moment. She didn't have the words to explain to them what had happened at the Sunning rocks. She didn't have the energy in her soaked and bloody body, to comfort any of her clanmates. All she wanted, was to curl up in her nest, and sleep.
She had no more than sunk into her moss and feather decorated nest when a little black figure hung at the entrance of her den. Blinking her clouded green eyes, she slowly turned her head to lock her gaze on Speckpaw. The medicine cat apprentices maw was moving, but no words seemed to pierce her ears. It wasn't until he was sniffing her from head to toe, that she moved away from him and shook her head. "Tend to my wounded warriors, Speckpaw. When you and Featherblossom have done all you can for them, then you may see me."
Not waiting for an answer, she turned her back on the little curly black tom and settled her head on her paws. Her eyes stared blankly at the wall of her carved out den. Ears flattened against her head as her mind sucked her back into what had just happened. Chest aching and lungs burning as she once again found herself being held beneath the water. Shaking her head desperately, she sucked herself out of the memory. She couldn't think about it. Couldn't think about the way that the Gladeclan deputy seemed to have the strength of a dark forest warrior. How he didn't even budge when she claws at his legs and shoulders. Like he drew in strength when his own blood was drawn and his skin was sliced through.

β’ Eaglecry [Warrior][Tom][28 Moons] With; Medicine cat's. Redthorn, Duckpaw. Where; Medicine Cat's den. Reaching the medicine cat's den was the greatest relief that Eaglecry could ever imagine feeling. Slumping down into the nest outside the den, where most wounded took place, he turned to swipe his tongue over his bloody sides. Wincing slightly, he couldn't help but notice how blood still welled up from the deep marks that Brokenmist had given him. While he already couldn't see out of his blind eye, now a searing pain seemed to burn through that side of his face. He could feel the blood that seeped down his face, and wondered how horrible it looked. He was sure it looked gruesome and probably terrifying.
Beside him, Duckpaw spoke, making the orange and black tom turn his head to look at her through his good eye. Her injured leg was jutted out awkwardly as she licked tenderly at her wounds. At her whimper, his heart practically broke in his chest. The tears that fell from her innocent amber and green specked eyes, had him wrapping his tail around her flank. Drawing her closer, he nosed her gently on the cheek. While he had the protective mentor/apprentice bond with her, it was in these moments that he lost that touch and became simply, her brother. "Duckpaw. Those apprentices are skilled. They are both less than a moon away from being Warriors. Starclan knows that you did the best you could."
Pausing for a moment, he took a glance to Redthorn, who bore the claw marks and bites of Splashfury and Snakevenom. A pained chuckle left the warrior as he turned a gentle orange eye on his sister once more. "We were all defeated today. Even your leader and deputy. Your mentor. You fought like a true warrior today, and while you are moons away from being able to receive your warrior name, you are recognized by us. If you wouldn't have fought Mysticpaw and Mousepaw like you did, and so bravely, there's a possibility that we would have lost more than one life today." Rubbing his cheek against hers, a soft and encouraging purr rumbled in his chest. "And I saw the way you caught Mysticpaw's face. He will bare the scars of your claws for everyone to see, each time they meet his gaze."

Sweetstorm [Queen][Molly][40 Moons] With; Hawkwhisper Where; Leaving camp. Even though she didn't blame her mate for wanting to check on their injured clanmates, she couldn't help but hiss her impatience as he moved up to Eaglecry and Duckpaw. Now she sat outside the nursery, waiting for Hawkwhisper to return. The two lifeless kits, Mistkit and Shadowkit, lay at her paws as she waited for the orange and white tom to return. She could see that he was interrupting the tom as he tried to comfort his apprentice. Her ears flattened and she patted the ground to try to catch his attention. Yet it was Eaglecry's response that had her freeze in her impatience and stare with wide gray eyes.
"Hey, Hawkwhisper. We're alright." The black and orange tom simply sighed, shaking his head. "Moonstar wanted a patrol at the Sunning rocks. She was worried of Gladeclan taking the storm as an opportunity to take the rocks from us." He paused, glancing to meet Sweetstorm's gaze as she leaned closer, ears pricking up. "She was right. Darkfire was there with Snakevenom, Splashfury, Brokenmist, Mysticpaw and Mousepaw. They overpowered us. We were chased from the rocks after..." He trailed off and his eyes clouded, before he turned his head and mumbled. "Well, they took Sunning rocks from us. It's no longer Willowclan's."
While he answered her mate, Sweetstorm couldn't help but feel as if the tom wasn't sharing something. Where was Moonstar.? And why wasn't she informing the clan of the loss.? The way his eyes clouded and he wouldn't meet their gazes, made her stomach twist. With a huff, she shook her head and flicked her tail at Hawkwhisper. "Hawk, come on. We must bury our kits while we have the light to travel. Please."

β’ Featherblossom [Medicine Cat][Molly][65 Moons] With; Injured Warriors Where; Medicine Cat's Den Featherblossom couldn't help but sigh when Spruceripple was replaced by Redthorn. Yet her sigh was cut short upon the sight of the deputy. His flank was dirty, wet and covered in blood. He bore the marks of both claws and teeth. Surprise flashed in the medicine cat's eyes as Speckpaw burst from their den, eyes wild with fear. For a moment, the silver and white molly simply stood. maw open and body stiff. After a moment, she quickly blinked anything but seriousness from her gaze. Locking sharp gray eyes on the wounds that scattered across Redthorn's body, she started to sniff along his orange flank. Completely ignoring his question, she nudged him from her den. "Move back. You can sit in the clearing like any other warrior. I'll gra.."
Voice trailing off as she caught the sight of Eaglecry's face and sides, she took in a sharp breath and whipped around, moving among her herbs. Pulling out Goldenrod, Marigold and Horsetail, she started to chew the herbs together until they were an almost paste-like consistency. Gathering plenty of cobwebs on to her tail, she picked up the herbs in a couple of thick beech leaves, turning she slipped from the medicine cats den, setting the herbs beside Eaglecry, Duckpaw and Redthorn. Slipping back into her den, she gathered a head of poppy and some moss, dipping it into a puddle that often formed in the den.
Moving back outside of her den, she moved up to Eaglecry first. His wounds were the greatest of the three warriors. "Hello, Eaglecry. I'm going to,," She trailed off as Lilypath shoved against her to sniff along Redthorn's body. Questioning the group about what had happened and if Redthorn was alright. Flattening her ears,Featherblossom gave a warning hiss to the calico warrior. Shoving between her and Redthorn, she shooed the molly away. "Get away from my patients. All of you! Unless you are injured or Speckpaw, I don't want another soul over this way." While she was addressing Hawkwhisper as well, she focused mainly on the molly wrapping herself around the deputy. Flicking Lilypath sharply over the ears with her tail, she gave her a hard look. "Get out of my space, Lilypath. You will wait like everyone else to speak with Redthorn and hear from Moonstar."
Featherblossom was known for her sharp tongue and easy temper. So it was no surprise that she snipped at the love-hungry molly for getting in her way. Whipping back around, the medicine cat moved back up to Eaglecry, where she washed his wounds, rubbed the polutice against them, and then layered them with cobwebs to protect them. "Eaglecry, I would like you to sleep in the medicine cat's den for a few sunrises. I will be tending to your wounds the most, and I want to be sure they don't get infected. You are off warrior duties for the next week." Shaking two poppyseeds from the head, she watched as the tom lapped them up. Turning, she focused on Duckpaw. "Alright, Little one. Where does it hurt the most.?"

Tinypaw [Apprentice][Tom][6 Moons] With; Open.?(Best friend.?) Where; At Camp. Upon returning to the camp, blood seemed to fill the air. Eyes wide, the little tom peeked around his mother and mentor to see Redthorn, Eaglecry and Duckpaw outside the medicine cats den. While they were blurry to him, as they were a good distance away, he could clearly tell they were wounded. Opening his maw to speak, he quickly clamped it shut at Lilypath brushed him away, telling him to pretty much go and leave her alone. Sharing a glance with his mother, he touched his nose to her leg, before turning and trotting off to the apprentices den. As he sat down near the entrance, his belly rumbled so loudly, he flattened his ears in embarrassment. Thankful that the clan was all distracted, and no one seemed to be paying any attention to him.
After a moment, his head swiveled around to try and spot his best friend. They hadn't spoken since the night before, she'd been sleeping still when he left. Now, she still seemed not to be around. 'Maybe she's out hunting.' He licked his lips at the thought, before stretching out his front legs. His ears swiveled towards the medicine cat's den as he heard Featherblossom hissing at Lilypath. Whiskers twitching, he tried to hide his amusement as his mentor was herded away from the deputy by the medicine cat.

β’ Nightfeather [Warrior][Molly][47 Moons] With; Sagefur Where; Camp. The journey back to camp had been a fun one. The two warriors helped carry the many fish that the two apprentices had caught. Every so often, one of the two warriors would question Willowpaw and Swallowpaw. Challenging the two apprentices with which way to head back to camp, and what landmarks mattered most, or which scents they could pick up at that very moment. A purr of content and laughter escaped from Nightfeather as they reached the camp, but she quickly froze as the scent of blood. Glancing at Sagefur, she pushed into camp. Quickly padding up to the fresh-kill pile, the calico warrior dropped the two fish she carried on to the pile, before glancing at the group outside the medicine cats den. Tapping Sagefur, she pointed to the wounded. "Looks like Moonstar's patrol didn't have a very good morning." She shook her head, before sitting down at the edge of the clearing. A snort escaped her as Lilypath was chased away by Featherblossom. "Why can't she just realize that Redthorn is too smitten with Moonstar to ever want her.?"

Aspenpaw || Apprentice || 6 Moons || Molly Appearance || Aspenpaw is a cute little tabby molly. The brown fur that covers most of her body seems to glow with an orage tint, making her look like an orange and black cat, like a tiger. She has two small tufts on the tips of her ears, making her ears look way more pointed that what they really are. She has dark yellow eyes, and a little pink nose. Personality || Aspenpaw is one of the most level headed young apprentices Willowclan has. She is always thinking before she speaks, and pondering her actions before she does them. Some would say she's an old soul gifted back from Starclan. She is super sweet, loves small talk, enjoys training and working hard, and thrives to make friends with every cat she encounters, including the dreaded Gladeclan cats.

Speckpaw || Moonstar Inside The Leaders DenSpeckpaw sniffed all over Moonstar, her wounds turning his belly upside down. She had fought hard, and by the sounds and looks of it, she had been the one to fight with Darkfire. Mere moments before, the little Medicine Cat Apprentice had been in terror from the prophecy that Starclan had shown him, sending him into a darkness he had never wished to see. Breaking free into reality, Speckpaw felt his head clear as he was forced to deal with the task at hand. His clan needed him. Just as Speckpaw was about to ask Moonstar what hurt the most, the leader dismissed him. "Oh." He mewed abruptly. There was to be no arguing with his leader, she obviously didn't want him around at the moment. Shaking his head and sighing loudly, he turned to leave the den. "As you wish." He muttered, his voice thick. It wasn't often that the Medicine Cats were rendered unnecessary, but the horror haunted look in Moonstar's eyes shook him to the core one again. Something wasn't right. Deciding to follow her order and check on the rest of the clan first, he made his way over to Featherblossom. The way her paws moved with speed as she mixed herbs and chewed poultices, placing them tenderly on the harmed warriors, made Speckpaw feel small. He could never replace her, he would never be as good. How in Starclans name was he supposed to help warriors when he very obviously couldn't help himself. "What would you like me to do?" He whispered to his mentor, not wanting to catch her off guard or throw off her work.
Duckpaw || Eaglecry & Featherblossom & Sweetstorm Outside Medicine Cats DenDuckpaw sniffed loudly as her brother turned mentor comforted her. Most times she was grateful for him teaching her how to be a great warrior, but in times like these, the bond the two held made her heart glow. "I did get him pretty good, didn't I?" She chuckled, thinking of how she landed one fatal blow on the Gladeclan apprenticed maw. Thinking of Mysticpaw sent her mind into the clouds, her heart missing a beat. Something about that apprentices eyes, staring into hers made her feel like she was floating. Mere seconds, while the two were tangled in battle, it was as though they were the only two in the whole forest. Thinking that he would bare the marks of her claws for the rest of his life felt oddly satisfying. He would never forget her now. Something felt very right, yet very wrong about that older apprentice. Jumping out of her fur when Featherblossom approached, Duckpaw leaned back as Featherblossom pressed herbs into her brothers wounded eye, making her jam her own shut, not wanting to see the juices mix with the blood that ran down his face. Once again, her heart broke. Eaglecry did not deserve to be harmed like this. Not from those Gladeclan warriors. How did they fight like that? Like they had strength from some one other than Starclan? Was that even possible? Peeking open once more as the medicine cat turned back to her, she took a deep breath. "It's my leg that hurts the most." She mewed softly, nearly whimpering. She had momentarily forgotten about the pain in her leg while sitting next to Eaglecry, but now that she had to focus on herself, the searing pain returned. Hawkwhisper || Eaglecry & Sweetstorm Outside Med DenHawkwhisper heard, very clearly, the irritation from his mate as he left to go speak with the wounded warriors. Flattening his ears to show he heard, the orange and white tabby padded forward, even after Sweetstorm stomped her paws at him. Flicking his tail in rebuttal, he listened as Eaglecry spoke of what happened. "Leave it to Gladeclan to take something that isn't theirs." He hissed back, shaking his head. If anything angered him, it was the clan that bordered his. They had no honor for anything, especially that deputy that Eaglestar named. Stepping aside as the Willowclan Medicine Cat made her way over the the warrior he was speaking with, Sweetstorm warm scent filled him. Turning away, leading her away with his tail wrapped around his body, he headed towards the deputy. "Redthorn. We must bury our two dead kits." He mewed flatly, his tail lashing. "Whatever Moonstar is doing, would you mind letting her know." Irritation seemed to drip from his words as he spoke. Hawkwhisper was known for his upsetting disposure towards anyone he spoke too, and that never changed when speaking to his leader and Deputy. Turning away, he spoke only to Sweetstorm. "Since they are to busy to worry about the death of our kits, we must do it ourselves." He spat, his eyes focused on the soft dirt on the camp, padding towards the entrance. "Come, I know a wonderful flower patch we can put them to rest under." He mewed, softly now as he spoke to his mate about the two kits he lost. Lilypath {Waiting for that friend of hers to magically appear so she can complain to them about Featherblossom shooing her away lol.} Aspenpaw || Tinypaw Returning to Camp AloneAspenpaw growled, the fat rabbit in her jaws throwing off her balance as she wobbled back to camp. With so many cats gone, she decided to go out and hunt for herself, seeing the fresh kill pile was low, and it would be hours before anyone returned with anything worth sinking her teeth into. Retuning to camp, the little stripped apprentice dropped her rabbit, the sight of warriors scattered through out the camps clearing, covered in blood, decorated in wounds, made her heart stop. Tinypaw had went out with Lilypath, but where was Tinypaw? Lily was sitting next to Redthorn, but from where she stood, her little eyes couldn't see if she was one of the wounded or not. Looking around quickly, she saw Tinypaw's tail tip disappearing into the apprentices den. Thinking quickly, she grabbed the rabbit and scooted away to join him, wanting to make sure he was not hurt. "Inyaw" She called around the rabbit in her mouth. "Are ew Ok?" She asked, walking into the den flank first, dragging the rabbit behind her. "I saw Lilypath out there with the wounded cats, are you alright?" She asked quietly, sniffing the small apprentice all over. "I got you food." She chirped, clearly happier that her friend was not wounded, physically at least. "What happened?" She asked, settling down next to him. Sagefur || Nightfeather In campListening as Nightfeather instructed the apprentices on their walk back to the camp, he couldn't help but feel at his happiest. Being out in the trees, the feelings of the ferns brushing against his fur, the giggle of young apprentices, and his companion, what could make this day better. That feeling of absolute perfect felt as though it shattered into a million little piece the second he stepped back into camp. Pausing, his ears perked high, he scanned the wounded. Where was Moonstar? Hadn't she gone out with them? Was she alright? Panic welled in his chest as the dark thought of losing her danced in his eyes. What would Willowclan do without her? Sure, Redthorn would make a great leader, and Nighfeather was practically a shoe in for deputy, but what would he do? He needed Nightfeathers companionship, and if she was made to be the next deputy, she would be stripped away from him, the duties of the clan taking her. A million thoughts danced in his mind, making his nearly miss the words of Night as she spoke to him. "But where is Moonstar?" He voiced as he followed her to the edge of the clearing. His words seemed to be saturated in worry, his eyes giving away with thoughts. Laughing with Night, he watched as Lilypath, the love strict warrior, lagged away from her forbidden love. "I wonder if Redthorn gets irritated with how she flaunts over him every day. It has to be exhausting." He mewed, licking his paw to draw over his dusty ears. Redthorn || Featherblossom & Lilypath & Eaglecry &Hawkwhisper & Sweetstorm Camp Clearing Redthorn felt suddenly overwhelmed, cats had began to return from their own patrols, the sight of his own drawing them in by their curiosity. The large deputies eyes never left his paws. Moonstars look haunting him as he sat with his warriors. They failed today, and in a very bad way. Sunning Rocks was not that important, if he had just disagreed with Moonstar, she would not have lost a life, Duckpaw wouldn't be hurt, Eaglecry wouldn't have wear the marks of Gladeclan in his hurt eye, and he would not be in the situation he was in right now. Wincing in pain as Lilypath made her way over, he sighed. When was she ever going to understand. The two were not destined for each other. Regardless of how often the pretty warrior pushed herself onto him, he could not make his heart feel something it shouldn't. It's not that he didn't want too, she was very pleasing to look at, but he couldn't make himself feel the way she felt about him. "Lilypath. Im alri-" He was in the middle of speaking as Feather, the clans Medicine Cat came to tend to his wounds, shooing the warrior off sternly. Shooting her a grateful glance at her saving him from another awkward conversation with her, he began to watch as her paws moved quickly. As Featherblossom noticed Eaglecry, she turned to him, leaving Redthorn to his thoughts once more, but not for long. "Speckpaw!" He called, slowly and painfully getting to his paws. "How is Moonstar?" He asked, searching the little apprentices clouded eyes for some sort of comfort. Only a mere shake of his little misshapen head gave the deputy enough information to know that Moonstar bore wounds not only physical, but mental and emotionally as well. Once again, before he could even take a step, Hawkwhispers hot breath seemed to be going down his next. Standing himself up tall as the cocky warrior spoke of his dead kits, Redthorn blinked. "I am sorry for the loss of your kits, both of you." He mewed softly, looking in Sweetstorm direction. "Starclan will guide them to the stars tonight. I will let Moonstar know immedietly. All of Willowclan mourns with you." He mewed, flicking his tail to dismiss the two warriors. In the little time his patrol was out, so much had transpired. It seemed as though every one needed him for something, cats were pulling his attention in all directions, making his head spin. It was times like these that he reminded himself that being deputy was not for the feint of heart, but that he could handle it. Letting out a low hiss to let Hawkwhisper and Sweetstorm know he heart their disapproving disposition to how the day was being handled, he turned back to the few cats that were near him, waiting for his turn to be buried in herbs.
