I think Firestar could be a Somali, just google em, they are red cats. It'd give him a flame coloured pelt alright.
Littecloud and Scourge could be Munchkins? In an ideal world, so would all the villains, let's be honest.
I always imagined Sol with a very thin face, so maybe he would be some kind of oriental, though that's just me. Thin face and big ears scream Sol.
Tigerstar and Brambleclaw could easily be Toygers, as could Hawkfrost, I suppose, and maybe Leafstar? I always though her design was very similar to those guys.
I headcanon Falling Leaves as a Turkish Van real hard and I don't know why, I don't even like him that much.

I HC Pinestar as a Maine Coon, mainly because his description reminds me of a Maine Coon cat I used to own. So I see Tigerstar as part Maine Coon, inheriting the long cheek fur and stocky build. Brambleclaw doesn't have those as I see him as shorthair.
Yellowfang and Brokenstar are definitely Persian cats to me, with Yellowfang having the entirely flat Persian face while Brokenstar just has a flatish face.

To me, Smudge is a cross between a British Shorthair and a random other breed. Maybe it's the owlish eyes or the crinkly fur that does it for me...

Firestar could also be a red Abyssinian, which is basically the short-haired version of a Somali. Given that all red cats have tabby markings in some capacity, I think that his "solid ginger" coat fits the image of a ticked tabby more so than a mackerel or classic tabby. ^0^
Bluestar would obviously be a Russian Blue cat, haha.
I think Lionheart would resemble a golden tabby Siberian fairly closely.
Fuzzypelt (from Bluestar's Prophecy) could be an American Wirehair, a Selkirk Rex, or a La Perm. |

Yeah, realistically none of these cats would have breeds, but this is a fantasy book series. |

Plus all the posts here are headcanons anyway, they aren't meant to be taken as fact. Oh and Heatherstar, WindClan leader before Tallstar, was described as pinkish-gray. |

Even though the color is very unlikely to show up in feral cats, Heatherstar might have been a lilac-colored cat ( example), since that color is so often defined by cat fanciers as "pinkish gray," "frosty gray with pinkish tone," etc. To add on to my earlier headcanons, perhaps Leopardstar had some Bengal or Ocicat ancestry. I also think Tawnypelt would look really cool as a long-haired tortoiseshell Maine Coon! I agree that most cats born into the clans (i.e., not including Firestar and other former outsiders) realistically wouldn't be purebred due to the clans' feral state and relative lack of ~fraternizing~ with kittypets, but it's still fun to imagine what they'd look like in such a scenario nonetheless. :') |
