Nightstar sighed. "Tell me if you get a sign." He meowed as he walked back to Thunderpelt. "What did you need Thunderpelt? If it's about the new deputy than I'm taking care of it." He meowed, sitting down on his haunches to wait for the warrior to answer. "No, it's about something that happened recently." Thunderpelt meowed. "You exiled your deputy because she stood up for Foxpaw. He was never behind these killings, I know it. I nearly was one of those killed cats but I survived, Nightstar. I say how dare you exile Leafshine and others for something that is not possible. An apprentice would never kill his own clanmates or his own kin, Nightstar. What do you think Cinderstar would say about this? You are the one who convinced her to let rouges and kittypets come into the clan. And now it has backfired on you. That's what I have to say, Nightstar!" Thunderpelt finished, looking sharply at Nightstar. |

Eveningfern nuzzled his cheek in return. She gave a gentle smile, it eased a bit of her worries that he was at least happy about them having more kits. "Hopefully by the time they arrive there won't be any of this...drama going on." She didn't know how else to put it.

"Hopefully by the time they arrive there won't be any of this...drama going on." She didn't know how else to put it. Hollowsky nodded and thought again about Foxpaw. Foxpaw should know about this. The thought tore him up inside. He sighed sadly, but quickly reminded himself that he would soon have more kits that wouldn't know of what Foxpaw had done. He gagged as a fowl, rotting scent hit his nose. it was coming from the lake. |

Nightstar flattened his ears as he spun around to face Thunderpelt. "Get out of my den." He snarled as he arched his back and slid his claws out. "I have multiple lives. You don't. So get out." He hissed, anger gleaming in his eyes. Thunderpelt slid his claws out. "I once admired you as a leader, but not anymore! But I will not leave this den until this has been put right!" Thunderpelt hissed back, standing his ground. "I will fight if I have to!" He arched his back up, his fur bushed out in anger. |

Hollowsky nodded, and spotted Nightstar padding out of his den. "I think he already knows." he commented to his mate, gagging again. He got up and flicked his tail for Eveningfern to follow. "Come on. Let's get away from this rot-scent." He meowed as he attempted to lead Eveningfern and himself away from the lake.

Or would their son be blamed with no evidence yet again? "What do you think happened this time?" She looked at her mate, wondering if he had theories on what was going on.

Thunderpelt sat at the meeting place, waiting for the rouges to gather together. I hate that 'A leader's word is law' is a part of the warrior code. I want to get it removed. Thunderpelt thought.

Hollowsky shrugged. "It couldn't have been Foxpaw. He isn't here...Somebody else is doing this and blaming it on Foxpaw." He turned to Eveningfern with wide eyes. He gazed around camp. "Who do you think would've blamed an apprentice?" He asked, outraged.
Ghost padded into camp with a wad of herbs in her mouth. She had found Cobweb, marigold, watermint, and what she thought were juniper berries(death-berries). She dropped them in the entrance to the medicine den and bounded over to meet Thunderpelt. "What is it? every cat can hear you from miles away with that yowling." She hissed, sitting down.

Soulspirit raced torwards Thunderpelt and rested her tail on his flank. “Calm down Thunderpelt. Nightstar was just doing his best for his clan.” She mewed, with a nervous glance at nightstar.
