Snail listened to what the she cat told him. "Clans sound complicated," he mewed flicking his tail. "But if you grow up and live together...it's like you are one big family!!! So...why kill family?" Snail titled his head to the side. "A few more things. How do you choose a leader? Why do they have 9 lives? How do they get the extra 8 lives?" Snail was staring at her with fascination. Clans seem so interesting!! He thought, with an exited grin. he was happy to be getting to learn so much.

The clan leader chooses a deputy for the clan, and the clan deputy helps the clan leader run the clan untill the leader dies, and the deputy becomes leader and he then chooses the clan’s new deputy” she mewed. “And, starclan gives the leader 9 lives.” She mewed. “Starclan is a place especially reserved for clan cats to go when they die” she mewed to snail. “But... all though I’m not sure what happens to outsiders when they die” she mewed. “some say they roam the earth untill they eventually fade away into nothing” she added. "But who choose the first leader," he asked. Snail thought for a moment. "So that means the cats Foxpaw killed are in..Starclan? Are you able to see them?" He flicked his tail. "But won't he also go there when he dies? Also!! Why do you guys have weird names? Like theres Foxpaw, but then there was...was it Nightstar? and I think I heard Thunderpelt?" The clan names definetely were different when thinking about the names of rogues or loners he meet.

Dawnflower gasped. "It can't be....Eveningfern...I think you're expecting..." She trailed off as she looked up to face the she-cat with a mix of worried happiness showing in her eyes.
Snowpaw had just woken up from a nap and nobody else was in the den. She yawned as she padded out of the den to look for everybody else. Where's Foxpaw and Fogpaw?, She wondered to herself.

Eveningfern stared after the medicine cat for a while. "I'm...," her voice trailed off. She knew she should be happy with this news, but after everything, it was just giving her more worries to be dealing with. "Thank you for helping Dawnflower." She rose back up to her paws. I should probably tell Hollowsky. She thought to herself.

Dawnflower nodded. "Of course! Take it easy for a bit!" She called as the queen exited the den. She smiled to herself as she sorted through her herbs.
Hollowsky sat in the clearing of camp. He had just helped move the rock in place for the warrior's den. They didn't move it much, but it was still progress. He stretched and rested his head on his paws for a minute.

Thunderpelt sat licking his wounds for after of the battle with the cat in the woods. Ow, that hurt! Thunderpelt thought.
Leafshine was still in exile with Foxpaw, Snowpaw and Fogpaw. Thunderpelt had wanted to go with them, but couldn't. Thunderpelt got up and marched to the leaders' den. "Nightstar?" Thunderpelt called in. He was ready to challage Nightstar to answer to him about the exile of his fellow clanmates.

Nightstar walked in and sat down. "I need to go to the Whispering Cave. I need to know from Starclan who our next deputy will be." He confided in Cloudheart. "Have you had any signs from Starclan? Either of you?" When Dawnflower shook her head he turned to Cloudheart.
Hollowsky smiled at her. "What news? Come on, tell me!" He purred, hoping that the news was good. Everybody needed some good news right now.
Has nobody found Kiwifrost in the lake yet?))
