Alright, so it's been a few years since I last posted this, and it has grown exponentially since then, so here we go. I do apologize if this comes off as bragging, but then again, I have put a LOT of work into this collection, not just in collecting the books/merch themselves, but in hauling everything to my porch (better lighting) to photograph, sorting, labeling, and uploading all of the photos, so maybe I should brag a little, because I am very proud of what I've done. I got my first foreign edition of the books for Christmas in 2013, and I haven't looked back since. The specs of my collection as of today (2/16/2021) are as follows: 5 Bookcases 16 Languages 177 Pictures 646 Books I've broken everything up by language under spoilers to try to not crash anyone's device. I put a number beside each language to let you know how big each spoiler is. I hope everyone enjoys my collection, and if not, I'm sorry for wasting your time. Without further ado: Overall Bookcases/Shelves (33) American [ USA] (20) Arabic [ Egypt] (1) British [ United Kingdom] (2) Alternate Covers Dutch [ Netherlands] (3) Anniversary Edition Guides Novellas German [ Germany] (7) Hardcover Anniversary Edition Hardcover Old Guides Mangas Omnibus Super Edition Hardcover Japanese [ Japan] (2) Korean [ South Korea] (2) Old Persian/Farsi [ Iran] (1) Polish [ Poland] (6) Illustrated Edition Mangas Novellas Super Edition Romanian [ Romania] (1) Russian [ Russia] (12) Simplified Chinese [ China] (15) Old Middle New Alternate (colored spines) Alternate (red spines) Guides Mangas New Mangas Old Novellas Super Edition New Super Edition Old Spanish [ Spain] (1) Traditional Chinese [ Taiwan] (8) Ukrainian [ Ukraine] (3) Vietnamese [ Vietnam] (1) American Merch (8) Bracelet Buttons Mini Figures Pen Pins Plushies Poster Dutch Merch (2) Journal Sketchbook German Merch (6) Activity Books Bracelet Trading Cards Masking Tape Pencil Case Simplified Chinese Merch (27) Traditional Chinese Merch (6) Buttons Card Books Trading Cards (3-D) Journal Pencil Case Pencils Ukrainian Merch (3) Unofficial Merch (7) Bracelets Keychains Hoodie T-Shirt Purse

Wow. Just wow. Are you a superfan by any chance? I'm not really sure what qualifies you to be a superfan? Technically this would be the rather unflattering definition: superfan /ˈsuːpəfan/ noun a person who has an extreme or obsessive admiration for a particular person or thing. "superfans started queuing outside the arena eight days ago" But for me a superfan is simply someone who greatly enjoys something, has impressive knowledge about that particular subject and a possible collection about it.

"superfans started queuing outside the arena eight days ago" But for me a superfan is simply someone who greatly enjoys something, has impressive knowledge about that particular subject and a if possible some sort of collection about it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the books a lot. I decided back in 2013 that I needed a hobby, and earlier in the year, I had loaned my mom all of my Warriors books to read. My one request to her was to not crease the spines, because I really have a thing about that. I got the books back a few months before Christmas, and 19 of the spines had been creased. I was still toying with the idea that maybe collecting these books could be my hobby, so I started replacing the damaged books, then like I said, got my first foreign editions (the middle Simplified Chinese ones) for Christmas, and it just kinda spiraled from there. I have a job where I have a lot of downtime to play on the computer, so I just started researching the books in other countries, challenging myself to see if I could even find a way to ship them to America (it was a lot harder back then, many sites I use today wouldn't ship overseas and I had to go about finding brokers to get the books for me). tl;dr I enjoy the books, but I also enjoy the hunt.

I also dislike it when someone else mistreats my books (or any other property). I'm interested in starting a Warriors collection myself but rather of the new Minis than the books as I've already sold the first three arcs of Warrior Cats including the Super Editions, Novellas, Mangas and Field Guides that I had bought in my first language, German. Enjoying the hunt sounds like something any cat would do, so it fits.

This is super impressive and you have every right to brag over this.
And here I keep my Warriors obsession well hidden from the real world (I only buy the books as e-books on my phone since I'm pretending to be an adult, and I only have one merch item (the Squirrelflight plushie)).
For real though, I am super interested in reading the books in a foreign language (French or Spanish) to help me better learn the languages since I already know the stories so well (particularly probably the first arc since that is by far the one I've read the most). Have you actually read the foreign copies or do you just collect them?

your collection always amazes me! how did you come to own the uncorrected proof into the wild? I actually acquired it by accident - I happened to stumble on a first edition, first printing, autographed version of an Into the Wild hardcover on Abebooks, and I bought it. Also listed by the same seller was what I thought was a first edition, first printing, autographed British alternate version of Into the Wild, so I went ahead and ordered that as well, and what ended up coming was the uncorrected proof, autographed. I have no idea if the autographs are real or not, I would love to message one of the authors to find out, but I'm scared to do so.

Have you actually read the foreign copies or do you just collect them? I am really strange about talking about my collection irl - I'll be talking to someone and mention that I collect foreign editions of a certain book series as a hobby, but then they inevitably ask what series and I get kinda bashful about it. I do carry the purse all the time though, and it's a bit like a secret society, where if they know what it is, then I know they're ok to talk to about it. I'm really not a huge fan of the plushies (too big in my opinion), but I do have actual cats named Squirrelflight and Ravenpaw, which is why I got those 2. Because I know the stories, I can somewhat follow along in the books that use English letters. Spanish is the easiest, because that is the language I took in high school, but that's about it. I can recognize the Chinese symbols for "Cat Samurai" (what Warrior Cats translates to), but that's about it.

Lol, not for sale, though every once in a while, I end up with duplicates, and I'll either sell them to Darkshine or on ebay. What is the button of? I've been collecting foreign editions since Christmas 2013 (so just over 7 years), and the series in general since I believe the beginning of 2010?
