Wolfstorm / BluffClan / Deputy / Feathersoul, Tinykit (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ ), Tinycloud (Ember34 ), Brooksong (aether ), Blazingsky (willowflower )
As Jackdawstar made the announcement of their decision to both Clans, Wolfstorm stood beside Silentstar, surveying the Clan. He could see nervousness and tension in the eyes of some, anticipation and excitement in others. Some cats would be raring for such a journey, while others would find it unbearable. The Clan would have to do everything they could to get each cat through this. He caught Feathersoul's eye, and he could see the shock and uncertainty reflected in her blue gaze. As soon as the meeting was finished, he bounded down and padded over to his family, touching his nose to his mate's cheek.
"There's nothing left for us here." He murmured, his mew heavy with the emotion of leaving a place they'd known their whole lives. "But if we leave, we can find something better. Silentstar believes so, and I believe her. We'll be okay." His tone was comforting, but doubt flickered in his mind. Would they really make it through without any harm to their Clan? Their kits? He stepped back to give each of his kits a rough lick on the head, and then let them go with Streamfrost. When he straightened, his mew was crisp as he look around at which cats were freshest to hunt. He caught Streamfrost's eye as she passed, and she gave him an imperceptible nod. When she was done with Feathersoul, she would go out.
He looked around to see which cats looked the most able to go out. "Tinycloud, Brooksong," He began, "and Blazingsky, since you seem to still have the energy to carry four cats on your back." He added, turning his gaze sternly to the vain younger tom. "Go out and find any prey you can."
"I can show them the best places to hunt." The smooth mew came from Thunderflash, who had padded up to join the group. "I'm sure your cats are quite tired. There's no reason to have them wander all over the territory when prey is so scarce." He added with a sympathetic glance.
The BluffClan deputy gave the HeathClan warrior a grateful nod, then turned back to his cats. "Go with Thunderflash, then. Brooksong, you can take Falconpaw if you want." Dismissing them, he sat back with a small sigh. Now came the task of making sure their warriors could handle the task of guarding the more vulnerable cats on their impending journey.

Lynxkit / BluffClan / Kit / Feathersoul, Tinykit (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ )
As she looked at her brother, Lynxkit couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her tiny brother. He was so full of life, but he was so small and frail too. Even at her young age, she couldn't help but wonder if he would be okay. Nevertheless, she pushed away her misgivings and shared her brother's optimism, giving her brother a friendly nudge. "If you keep up your scampering, you're going to be the first kit left behind when we leave!" She teased, well aware of how stressed her plucky brother was making their mother. She allowed Feathersoul to herd her towards the HeathClan nursery. Her own little paws were growing weary, and like the rest of their Clan, she could use a good long rest.

Streamfrost / BluffClan / Warrior / Feathersoul, Tinykit, Foxtumble (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ )
Streamfrost led the exhausted family to where Spiderwatcher had pointed out the HeathClan nursery. "Vixenshine? It's Streamfrost from BluffClan." She called out, not wanting to startle queen by just barging in. "May I bring Feathersoul and her kits inside to rest? They've been through a lot."
"Feathersoul? Of course, come in." Came the wan reply from Vixenshine.
Streamfrost ducked through the moss and into the dim nursery. "Greetings, Vixenshine, Foxtumble." She meowed, dipping her head in turn to the queen and her mate. Her mew was terse as she was unable to hide her shock at exactly how weak and frail the HeathClan queen looked. It was as if the pregnancy was sucking the life out of her. Thankfully, Lynxkit and Tinykit had been born and moved on to solid food before the twolegs came. She could imagine that the toll on Feathersoul would have been similar had she been in the same position.
She quickly scraped together some moss to form a nest for the tired queen and her kits. Thankfully, the nursery seemed to be the one place with plentiful moss, and she quickly pawed together a comfortable resting place. "I should go hunt now, so we have enough for when we leave." She meowed to the queen. "I'll try to bring you and the kits back something nice."
Dipping her head in farewell to the family, she exited the nursery, and looked around for a HeathClan cat to join her, and show her where to hunt.

Beetleflight / BluffClan / Elder / Shadedspeck, Graypebble (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ ), Sagetail (aether )
Beetleflight nodded somberly in response at recalling the destruction of their camp. "Twolegs...what can you do about them?" He snorted, before addressing her next question, thankfully a happier subject. "Yes, Feathersoul and her kits are both alright. Some foxhearted twoleg tried to take Tinykit, but our warriors saved him. They should be in the nursery by now." It was still an amazing stroke of luck that the family had made it out of there intact. No, not luck. He ammended to himself. Our whole Clan came together to protect them. It was moments like these, that made him happy in his long life to have been a member of BluffClan.
Jackdawstar's speech brought conflicting emotions into the elderly tom. On one hand, he felt excitement surge within him. Beyond his paw, he was an able bodied tom and still strong for his age. The journey would not be as tough on him, and it would give him he feeling of being like a warrior again. Yet on the other hand, he knew some of the other elders did not have it as easy, and he knew that such a long and arduous journey could be dangerous for them. While he trusted and respected Silentstar's - and Jackdawstar's - judgment, he hoped they were taking the elders into consideration when making this decision. "I'll take all the walking in the world if it means I'll get to eat properly again." He responded, matching the other elder's light one. He didn't want to alarm them with any of his own misgivings. He set his chin down on his paws, vaguely aware still of the throbbing in the paw. He wondered if Birdscreech could look at it yet, but he thought was lost in his mind as he sank back into sleep, the exertion of the escape finally catching up to him.

Hornetpaw / BluffClan / Apprentice / Cloudpaw (Tealraven ), Morningpaw, Ashpaw (Ember34 )
The striped tom rolled his eyes at his friend's absentminded rambling. Clearly, in all the excitement, the white tom had forgotten his own denmates. "I don't think the HeathClan apprentices will mind too much considering everything that's happened." He meowed. "And some cats need some more rest than others from the looks of it." He gave Cloudpaw a nudge towards the HeathClan apprentice den. "Come on, you great lump. I'm going to have a rest myself and then go hunting, and if you're too tired when I go, I'm going to leave you behind." He threatened, though it was mainly his way of jolting the inert tom into moving. He knew Cloudpaw had a habit of freezing up in these situations, and as tired as he was himself, he wasn't about to spend the entire morning trying to coax his friend out of a misplaced sense of duty.
"You two should get some rest as well." He meowed at Morningpaw and Ashpaw. "StarClan knows there will be plenty of time for hunting when we wake." He had no doubts that preparation for he journey would be hectic. Maybe by the time we leave, I'll be a warrior, and I'll be one of the cats guarding others, not being guarded! He thought with a twinge of excitement. For a moment, he contemplated talking to Stonepelt about it, but he knew his mentor had better things to worry about at the moment. When I wake up. He decided as he proceeded towards the apprentice's den.

Blizzardpaw / BluffClan / Apprentice / Swiftpaw (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ )
The snowy apprentice followed easily behind, squeezing through the shortcut that Swiftpaw had pointed out, and popping out into the moor on the other side. The moor had always seemed like such a desolate place, but now, without even any prey scent, it felt bleaker than usual. A cold breeze passed through his fur, and he fluffed it out against the chill. Nevertheless, he was more than happy to be out of the camp full of fear and unfamiliar scents, and in the company of Swiftpaw.
"This journey's going to be so exciting!" He mewed as he paused to sniff the air, hoping for some prey, but not finding anything. "Like a Gathering, but with everyone. And seeing all sorts of things we've never seen before. Like the mountains." He looked up at the intimidating peaks that they would soon be entering, eyes gleaming with anticipation. "And cats from both our Clans will be spending a lot more time with each other. Kits, elders, warriors. Even apprentices." He added, turning his gaze to her, before back to the stretch of moorland.

Vixenshine / HeathClan / Queen / Foxtumble, Feathersoul, Tinykit (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ )
As she took another bite, Vixenshine felt a bout of queasiness in her stomach, immediately taking away her appetite. She pushed it away, attributing it to her weariness. "I'll be fine, Foxtumble." She replied, pressing her nose to his flank. Just then, she felt a sharp pain run through her belly. Feathersoul and her kits entered the den at the moment, so she disregarded it. "Hello, Feathersoul. You and your little ones are welcome here." She mewed warmly, trying to hide the pain in her eyes.
Then, it struck again, this time much greater than before, and Vixenshine was unable to hide her gasp of pain. The look in her eyes went from pain to shock and fear. What was going on? Were the kits coming? Was this supposed to hurt this much? A ripple passed through her, and the pain became agony as a yowl ripped through her. The kits must be coming, but...She turned her gaze to Foxtumble, the fear clearly alight. "Foxtumble, the kits are coming...but something isn't right...get Pinefrost!" Another agonized yowl. She knew deep inside what was happening. The kits had decided it was time, but her body was far too weak for this. The kits were about to come to life, but if something wasn't done, they could take hers.
Another spasm through her bony frame, and she slumped limply against the moss, too weak now to even move. Hunger and exhaustion had taken too much of a toll on the queen. As she struggled to open her eyes, the blood came, pulsing around he molly in a dark stain.

Stagrunner / HeathClan / Warrior / Fernheart (aether ), Moonpaw (fr0stros3)
Stagrunner held her gaze with his own, the worry reflecting in his own. Every cat seemed nervous about the journey ahead in one way or another, and there was nowhere any of them could go to escape it. However, the sound of prey definitely made his ears perk. Some rabbits would be the perfect thing to feed the Clan. "Great idea!" He mewed, but the tortoiseshell molly had already bounded ahead.
Shaking his head in amusement, he turned to his apprentice and flicked her shoulder with his tail-tip. "What do you think, can you get those rabbits to us?" He asked. He had no doubt in her ability, but he knew she was tired, just like the rest of them, and he wouldn't blame her if she didn't want to use the little strength she had crawling down a rabbit tunnel when they had a big journey the next day. "Otherwise I'll have to try and go down myself, and we both know this huge rump isn't fitting down a rabbit hole." He joked.
-
Thunderflash / HeathClan / Warrior / Tinycloud (Ember34 ), Brooksong (aether ), Blazingsky (willowflower )
Thunderflash dipped his head courteously to the BluffClan warriors Wolfstorm had chosen. "Whenever you're ready." He mewed as he made his way to the camp entrance. While the offer had appeared to be a genuine wish to help the battered Clan, Thunderflash's motives were far more malevolent. He cared nothing for the plight of either Clan, and instead wanted to use this opportunity to understand the BluffClan warriors, and see how they interacted with each other. Every little glance, mew, and flick of the tail was information. Information he could use to find out which cats were the most vulnerable - and which he could use to sew discord among the Clans.
As he passed the entrance, he saw the Clan idiot, Foxpounce, in a 'friendly discussion' with what appeared to be BluffClan's Clan idiot. He found cats who reacted to the slightest provocation droll and foolish. Of course, he never had any problems with them. Not Thunderflash, HeathClan's kind and quiet warrior. No, he was too careful to allow himself to be drawn into such moronic confrontations, and risk peeling back the mask he had built since he was a kit in the nursery. No, but those two...Internally, he smirked in satisfaction. Those two were interesting, and their clear enmity was unmistakable. Thunderflash could use that. He could definitely use that.

Windpaw / HeathClan / Apprentice / Spiderwatcher (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ )
Windpaw felt pride run through her pelt from ears to tail-tip at how pleased Spiderwatcher sounded. She'd worked hard over the past moons, especially once the twolegs had begun appearing, and she was happy to see that her mentor had noticed. She had been especially pleased to have been given Spiderwatcher as a mentor; she was the sister of their leader, and Windpaw often peppered her about questions about her brother, and what it was like being leader.
"It was just a small one." She replied, ducking her head modestly. "If I knew we were having more cats join us, I would have stayed out longer..." Her mew trailed as she looked over all the BluffClan cats in the camp. She found their neighboring Clan fascinating, and spent Gatherings getting to know them the best she could. Having the entire Clan in her camp, while a bit disorienting, was also quite fascinating. "Let's hunt." She replied promptly, without hesitation. Rest could wait. If there were cats that needed to be fed, that came first.
As Jackdawstar made the announcement of their decision to both Clans, Wolfstorm stood beside Silentstar, surveying the Clan.
