PM issue

I thought someone had this exact same issue at the very beginning as well. If I remember correctly, you can go to Profile --> Edit Profile --> Notifications --> Turn off notifications for personal messages, wait for it to save, and then turn it back on. It should reset your notification system for personal messages.

Edit: Another possible solution is to make sure you actually click on the little bubble. 

Make sure to do the little toggle button, not the 'never, smart, instant, etc' thing.

Glad to hear it. What was up with earlier today? I'm assuming it's something outside of these cursed forums since it seemed to be calmer earlier compared to now.

The weekend was a nice break, just trying to stay a little busy during freetime with something.

You sound like my apartment mate. He watched some tv show for like 7 hours with just bathroom and food breaks. Guess it depends on the show.

I went to a party last night until about 4:00 am, came back, slept for 3 hours, and did homework the rest of the day. Just a bunch of idiotic online questions. In between I browsed on here, as usual. I've just been brainstorming stuff to do or post that would either interest people or help the place out.

I watched Criminal Minds a ton over the summer! It's a fun show to watch. Some of the stories are pretty amazing.

Yea, I guess, everyone has to do it once in a while though, right? It was a lot of technical stuff for the start of statics and thermo class, so it's just a little challenging but cool to deal with, so not too bad.

You might've already said this somewhere in an introduction post somewhere, but have you graduated college already then? Or did you skip that crap and go into a career?

Taking a year off sure as hell isn't a bad idea. I'm pretty surprised by how fast every very important decision that we have to make is forced into a time frame that flies by ridiculously quickly. I regret ever listening to statements like 'you have 2 years left, don't worry about it.' But whatever.

Also, congrats on getting out of high school! College isn't that amazing of a thing in my opinion, but I do think it's a ton better than high school. And even if you don't choose that route, being able to invest into a career early on and explore different options is good. High school felt like a wasted 4 years of possible potential. But rants for the education system can come later.

Best of luck on the crap fixing and figuring things out. That can be tough, but you'll probably be fine.
