My characters from the old forums were super cringy; everyone was loyal bold and brave lol. I couldn’t tell them apart while rp’ing hahah |

Oh, I'm so happy I can't look at my posts on the old forums. They were awful. My characters would act ooc all the time and it was just a mess. Glad someone has the same problem though. I swear I have to sit down and tell myself I'm writing an extrovert/villain/whatever if that's what I want to do.

Yeah, it’s also more interesting to have more diverse characters. I’m really trying to give my cats some real personalities now and not make them the always perfect likable warriors 😝
It’s hard to come up with something creative sometimes though. But I like your characters! They have good backstories and to me they don’t seem like cats that would all act the same 😊

Thank you! Some goes for your characters. I like them all and I think they'll be fun to interact with. That's something I've been trying to do more on these forum actually as opposed to the old ones - backstories that make them feel as though they existed before the rp. Before, I wouldn't link my characters to anyone else's. They were always just the born and bred clan cat with no notable history  |

Thanks!! Yes, that also helps a lot with creating fun dynamics! I sometimes struggle with backstories because I don’t always want the same ‘one parent died so now the other is sad and so are their kits’ story but I keep getting back to that one haha. I’ll have to try to think of some more interesting stuff.

My cats keep asking to go outside, but then they come back like a minute later because there's a little bit of snow on the ground ha
Other than that, just listening to music and trying to create those aforementioned ocs.
That's alright - I'm quite slow when it comes to thinking of what to write anyway!

Maybe for Sunclan & Moonclan, but I'm worried about giving myself too many characters at once. Plus, I kinda want to give myself some room for if any of my current characters have kits.

Morning yall ! Again sorry I disappeared for so long yesterday ; I got home and for whatever reason my anxiety was through the roof so I was like kinda grumpy and stressed out and I didn't wanna like ,, idk accidentally project that onto anyone so I just went to bed . Did I miss anything crazy ? I'm gonna go back and read through what I missed and try to go from there . Also , I'm trying to work on this plot and who is going to receive the prophecy . I thought about having one cat from each clan actually get the prophecy , and - now hear me out - a cat from outside the clans getting it . I was thinking , this cat could be from their one of their attacker's cats that , while they are on the offense , doesn't quite agree with their leader's way of working . I was thinking of it in a very ' sun / moon / stars ' sort of vibe , since they'll probably deem the reformed clan as ' Eclipseclan ' when they join together in battle .
I'd love to hear any feedback and ideas . I'll probably have specific reasons for picking specific characters , so I won't totally disclose WHO is getting the prophecy just yet ! However I am open to other things for the minor plot , like , which cats are dying before the gathering , stuff like that .
