Also Suss , if you want to keep Seastep younger that's totally fine ! You can always just say that there've been other deputies before him while Briarstar was still leader ; totally not uncommon / out of the question !

Yeah, I'll say he's on the younger side for now since that'll let me do more with him in the future. Out of curiosity, who in the clan do you think he mentored?

I thought about it , and I might ? I'll have to see how everything goes ! I'm trying to work out a few minor and major plot points - I had a few random ideas so I'll throw them here Plot 1 - Twolegs start trying to take over the island + border dispute > In this plot , twolegs start trying to zone the island to use it to build a home . This could cause Sunclan and Moonclan to have to fuse into one clan temporarily (?) perhaps we could include something to allude to an ' eclipse ' in a prophecy , or something to that affect . This could mean they have to unite in order to move to their new home , wherever that may be . We could probably choose two cats from each clan , or one from each , to receive this prophecy , most likely right before the twolegs start showing up . This would likely force them to leave the island and find a new territory altogether , which is fine , but if we want to keep our location , this may not be the best plot ? Still mulling it over Plot 2 - The Drowning Island plot > In this plot , there's something causing tension between the two clans , and a storm kicks up one day and causes unbelievable destruction , perhaps even ' sinking ' a good chunk of the island , which once again could cause the cats to either fuse into one clan , or leave . This could open up the option for the cats to either be stubborn and / or leave , or to accept that this is what they have to do in order to ensure their survival . I would like to see Emberstar perhaps slowly become an antagonist if this plot goes through , idk why , I just think he'd be at his wits end ; we could come up with some reason for there to be strife between the two clans
PLOT 3 I JUST THOUGHT OF - the Island takeover plot > ALRIGHT HEAR ME OUT , I have the PERFECT villain laying in wait that I've written and ,,, what if ,,, this cat and her group spot the Island and they're like ' oh please help us we've been chased out of our territory and were just seeking refuge ' and then BAM they get comfy and these cats just straight up start causing chaos and are like ' lol this is ours now dude ' and both of the clans are like HI WHAT THE HECK and maybe they're kicked off the island until they can take it over again , or there's just an all out war , like , OG warrior cats The Darkest Hour style
Minor plot - Rabies ! > I just love drama and thought this could be interesting because I wish it was happening to Bramblestar ; what if during a trip to the Crystal , the cats get attacked by a rabid animal , and one of them gets rabies . I'd be down to sacrifice Emberstar and have him slowly lose it and everyone's like ' oh my god what are we supposed to do ' |

Oooooo plot 3 sounds fun! I LOVE the idea of clans interacting with outside groups of cats that are competent. It's something I think they should do more in the books.

Plot 2 also sounds very cool, it would be very interesting to see Emberstar change and go crazy! I loooove some good drama 😃 And it would make for some great tension between the clans.

i got to say i have plot idea 3 it sounds like a lot of fun but plot 2 as a lot of potential with the sunclan cats slowly starting to lose faith in their leader
