Okay SO what about THIS - not to take some elements from the current WC canon events BUT I think they could make this REALLY interesting -- We have a couple cats receive this ' eclipse ' prophecy , right ? Of course , right around this time , Starclan has also gone silent . Their message is clear ; unite or die , basically . Well what if things s e e m i n g l y continue as normal , but tensions start to rise as they all become clear through the med cats meetings that Starclan is dead silent , no pun intended . This puts stress on Emberstar , who I feel is deffo more inclined to want to believe in starclan than say Briarstar , who believes in them since she got her 9 lives , but isn't like , crazy about it ; she believes they're in charge of their own destinies . What if this cat and her crew shows up , right ? So they show up and this cat is Rosethorn ; black , white , red , and an absolute unit . Her cats plan to overthrow these Island cats and claim the island as their own because they were driven out for other reasons we don't know about right away . What if they settle in one of the clans and Rosethorn is like " Starclan ? Lol that's nonsense , and I'll show you w h y " and she basically is like blowing holes in their way of life like it's no big deal , and Emberstar is like " we need to do something they're crazy ! " but before they can , these cats attack , Briarstar dies , and who knows what follows - Does Emberstar snap back to it ? Does Rosethorn overthrow all of them ? Does Seastep / Seastar totally 360 this ho and smack her to death and reclaim the island and they form ONE BIG CLAN ? the possibilities are endless
Either way , I think the clans would have to unite for some reason or another - what if the storm happens DURING this battle and BAM double symbolism ! Am I going crazy and thinking of too much ?! maybe !! Lmaooooo

akdjjfaekdf UR SO VALID. I think building up to it would be really fun! Maybe before there are some smaller fights between the clans, pushing them apart further so they're less likely to work together when the third group comes in? It would also give the cats time to bond 'n stuff since we haven't been rping long :0

Oh yes deffo ! I wanna make sure we have to time to build up to the bigger plots so we have characters fleshed out and they have some solid bonds for sure . I want the drama to crush me under the weight of Good Character Development 👌👌

I think maybe we could start out with little stuff like a border dispute / prey stealing / maybe some forbidden romance drama ? some small things that can get brought to attention and cause some trouble . If y'all also have any suggestions I'm open to them !

Yeah! If we wanted to go full drama tv show we could have there be a death. Like, a warrior or apprentice was found dead on the other clans territory. Maybe a bit drastic tho so idk lol

I love it all  Yeah , if someone felt like making a character that could just be killed off that could be interesting ! Maybe it's right near the next gathering , and we can always do a timeskip ! I think doing it right before this gathering is a little too early |

Yeah, I think so too. Next gathering would be good. I was actually thinking Pinestripe could eventually die, but she kinda grew on me in the few lines I wrote about her lol. So I want to give her a good life first, maybe a mate and some kits or something and then tragically rip her out of their lives😩😂

All the plots sound like they'd work well, but I'll second plot 2 and 3. I could do a lot with Amberpaw if Emberstar went crazy. They'd also need a deputy though, right?
Quick question about the rabies plot - how would they stop the whole clan from catching it?

With the rabies plot , I had second thoughts on it only because I only know that humans can't give it to each other , but they can contract it from animals , so i'm not sure how animal to animal contact transfers lmao , so that was my weakest wildest plot

as for rabies it can transfer through saliva so if a dog for example gets bit by a raccoon with it they would contract it because of it getting into their blood
