surprised i didn't see a thread about this yet!
long story short, the full audiobook for tdg is (as of the time of writing) up on hoopla right now. While i don't have a card for it, if you do have a card for a library that works with the website, it might be worth checking out.

Wow, I can't believe the whole book would get leaked like that! Anywho, I'll probably avoid it until I can get my hands on the actual book, but if anyone else manages to listen to the audiobook, I hope y'all enjoy it!

you know after the whole thing with TLC getting leaked on Amazon and people getting Dragonslayer in January last year, i'm not entirely surprised about this ngl
but regarding the leak, i've known about it for a while and i'm on the spoiler thread for it, pretty much just us talking about major plot points and our opinions on certain things Tui did with this one - it's pretty lengthy to scroll through, though, because at this point it has almost 2,000 posts and Discussions is crap at letting you view older posts so if you do decide check it out it might be best to just ask

It is a good book. I hope people will like it. I need to get a new card and the wiki isn't helping much on giving me a summary on the book, so... what exactly happens? I already know about Jerboa, but that's about it. |

I already know about Jerboa, but that's about it. Icewing queen with paranoia and anxiety ends up running into the Silkwing and Leafwing refugees. Worries they're invaders. Buffs herself up with Anamus (spelling?) jewelry, one of which is a Ring of Vision. Somehow no one dies, but it's a near thing. The Ring of Vision potentially does nothing, but wont come off and doesn't improve her eyesight at all. But every night she's having weird dreams where she's in another dragon's body. Different dragons (and not always dragons). Whoever she currently needs to relate to most. As magic items are want to do, they start leaking into the real world and she keeps fainting during escorting the refugees, either getting shoved into their heads or a dragon's on the other continent. Slowly, very slowly, she starts gaining a bit of sympathy. There are of course a LOT of other plots. If you have any specific questions, I can see what I can do.  |

So, I would DIE for Snowfall's youngest sister. To my memory she's called Lynx. Every word she said I would constantly say 'I would die for her' in the background, much to my sisters amusement.
The other sister is great - for the life of me I can't remember her name. She's the oldest. I only just met her when the audiobook returned itself, but she seems very practical and like she cares a lot about her family. Also pretty aware of what's going on in the family.
Oh ho ho, the reactions were PRICELESS! Winter's the most. My GOSH he fanboyed so HARD. I died. It was great. They all think Sky is a bit of a ditz. They like Wren. I like Wren. |

I just got the book today, but haven't read it yet. All I did was open up a page and read that particular page. And let me just say, I can't wait to read more on Mink.
