There's plenty, but the ones that stuck out most in my mind was the SkyWing prophecy egg being smashed and *shudders* Arctic disemboweling himself. Being disemboweled is horrible enough, but as a suicide? Yuckkkk.
And how Darkstalker called it an "honor suicide" was incredibly bad. Ouch.

Definitely the Arctic scene.
I also remember the scene of Queen Scarlet eating a scavenger's head in the first book scarring my ten-year old self

Yeah the Arctic one for sure bc it's really gore-y on top of being really messed up
I would like to list a couple other scenes but there's way too many options
but anything involving RainWings and venom isn't pretty

Particularly when Kinkajou was injured by venom and that IceWing from Queen Scarlet's arena in the first book |

Isn't Arctic's disembowelment only described in extreme vagueness? it's only gory through the fact that it's... well... it's fricking disembowelment, but thankfully I don't think it was actually described outside like what... one sentence saying that he did it?

I think there was some scenes where Peril was burning some dragons that I remember being particularly graphic.

Hvitur dying in the first book was brutal, Peril’s arena battles, and Artic’s death for me.

Scarlet getting shot with venom and the way it was described was really gruesome. Also, to this day, I still remember searching up what disemboweled meant and being absolutely horrified.

i gotta agree with the arctic scene being the most violent, but there never any description within the book of what happened besides maybe a sentence or the spell darkstalker used.
Arctic's death reminds me of tigerstar's death in a way, only difference is who killed them.

Anyone remember that scene in the Skywing gladiator fight ring or whatever it is in the first book where Glory's venom is described to have literally burnt and MELTED an Icewing's EYEBALL?
And Clay was like, in that dragon's face as well, imagine seeing someone's eye melt leaving their inner socket for you to see in all its gruesome detail. Good lord the first book went hard.

What's interesting about the Arctic death scene is that it was so gruesome that we don't even get a physical description of it happening. We just have Darkstalker giving the command, and it instantly jumps to the public freakout.
I think this is what a lot of people enjoy about Wings of Fire: when someone is injured or killed, it is done is a brutal way. Freaking Kinkajou ends up in a literal coma at one point. Crazy stuff, I tell you.
