In which we are the latest incarnations of a time-worn legend.
King Arthur and the Knights of The Round Table have continued for generations as guardians of two worlds meant to remain separate: Magical and Mundane. They patrol the now fraying borders and combat the evils of both man and beast in a seemingly endless cycle of violence on their quest for peace. Peace that can only be obtained with the claiming of the elusive Hallowed Grail, said to promise an end to the magical-mundane friction and to allow the souls of the Knights and their King to finally rest.
2020 marks the beginning of a new generation- The return of the Round Table and the Order of Pendragon. Their experience, however, is doomed to veer wildly from the comfortable wash-and-repeat of those who came before them.
For one, they're pretty sure dragons aren't supposed to be so...awake. Nor Cath Palugg or the more nasty Fey...something is breaking the cycle, and they can only hope to prevent it from ending entirely.
