Hello there I found this part of the forums and it inspired me to read the first book of the Wings of Fire series after years of it just sitting in my shelf. I figured I would share my thoughts. About 4/5 years ago my friend introduced me to Wings of Fire but I just couldn’t get into it maybe because I read books out of order and didn’t read the 1st 2 books of the series and read the 3rd and 4th. I can’t remember much about them so that means I’m basically devoid of spoilers for myself. So anyways back to the main topic I just read the first book of the series and MY GOSH IT IS GOOD! The characters are very well written and it’s only the first book! Clay is my favorite character but I also really like Tsunami and Glory so far. Really there’s no characters I dislike and I really like the world building and setup they created. This will sound bloodthirsty but I also love how willing this series is to kill off characters unlike Warriors were they are either very hesitant or kill off in between books or offscreen for the most part. It’s just a fresh, well written book and I can’t wait to read more! I also really like how humans are “scavengers” and are basically a little more dangerous prey. Idk if they already did this but I would want to read a book about the Scorching which sounds very interesting! Sorry if this is very long and ranting but I just need to share these thoughts! It’s a great book!
