Oakstrike rushes into the nursery, running to his mates side. He licked her back, trying to calm her down. "It's gonna be ok Oaksstrike, your more worried than me!" said Badgerclaw. She watched as Sageflower came running in.

Snowfeather returns to the nursery with Sageflower right behind her. Sageflower walks over to Badgerclaw and places the stick down next to her. "You can use this to bite down if you need too. I am going to need you to breathe."
(How many kits is she going to have?)

Sageflower purrs softly as she watches the kits mew and nurse against her belly. "Congratulations on three lovely kittens." She takes a few steps back feeling happy for the both of them.
Rosekit looked over at the kit and widens her eyes at them. "They are so small." She whispered.

-in (I plan to have a she-cat named Briarkit)
"If you need anything please let me know." Sageflower lingers on the kits for a minutes making sure she didn't see anything alarming. After that, she leaves the nursery and head back towards the medicine cat's den.

"Thank you for the help Sageflower!" calls Oakstrike. He knew he should go hunting, but he couldn't help but continue to lick and cuddle the kits.

Silverleaf simply nodded, seeming unbothered by Sandfeather’s answer. She decided it was not worth the effort, she will have to pull her weight, and that may cause her to have to become a mentor at some despite her discomfort with the idea. She thought for a moment at the cats question. “We would need someone who will look at things logically. Emotions are running high right now and that will pose a danger to the clan at some point.” She responded, not giving a specific name. Despite growing up in the clan, she didn’t take part in most of the affairs. She would quietly do what was needed and occasionally offer suggestions when it was required. Due to this, she didn’t know any of her clan mates very well.

Sandfeather nodded in agreement to Silverleaf, the fighting with the rogues may never stop. They lost a great deputy, and perhaps an apprentice. She glanced up to Silverleaf, “do you think Eaglepaw is okay?” Sandfeather asked the warrior, she was unsure if the rogues would do something terrible to Eaglepaw. Or just keep him as hostage to scare the clan, either way she hoped they hadn’t done anything terrible to him.

Silverleaf shrugged at her question. “I imagine he isn’t dead.” She responded calmly. Then explained further. “Dragging him away took a lot of effort, they probably would’ve just killed him in the camp if that was their intention.” She adjusted herself to lay on her flank, watching the larger cat closely. “Maybe they are just mouse-brained fools who like wasting energy.” The silver cat stated. She could be wrong, maybe they killed him as soon as they could, but Eaglepaw was large- it would’ve slowed them down and made injuries worse when they carried him. “I could be wrong, but they seemed too clever and organized for that. It could all be a trap. A few more dead warriors would make the territory practically theirs.”

Owlpaw moved from his position closer to the back of the medicine cat den to the spot that Sageflower was standing just moments before. If he was being honest he wished he could help with the kitting, even Snowfeather had her kits away from camp so he didn't really get to see how to help a queen during her kitting. Part of him worried he wouldn't get another chance to learn anytime soon.

Eaglepaw rolled his eyes. Betraying his friends? Surely the rogues didn't follow any rules or a code. They might have some kind of loyalty to eachother but he was pretty sure they could easily be swayed if they were offered something better. Unfortunately he didn't have anything to offer the tabby that would grab his attention. Nothing could safe Eaglepaw from this precarious position. Maybe some clan secrets but he wouldn't trade them for his life. "I never meant to kill him. This is no justice." But what would be justice in his case? He wasn't sure but whatever the rogues had in mind couldn't be it. "No I don't. I guess it doesn't really matter. We won't see eye to eye about this anyway." He meowed, watching the relaxed tom closely.
-------
"I understand." Scorchtail nodded at the medicine cat. "Thanks." He decided to leave as quickly as he came, not wanting to keep up more space when there were other cats that needed treatment too.
------
Shellkit had watched everyting unfold in the nursery with big green eyes. She wasn't sure what to feel about having to share the den with more kits. The parents seemed quite happy though. Like a perfect family. She wished her family had been like that. Turning away she curled up in Snowfeather's den, not wanting to see anymore of them.

Sunny watched the cat in quiet amusement. The cat seemed slightly offended by Sunny's response, clearly he was as proud as the golden tabby had suspected. "Whether you meant to or not. You still murdered someone." He told the cat, flatly, his expression still as friendly as it had been. "Actually.." Sunny's voice trailed off. "Two cats. If I recall correctly." He said quietly, as if he had not wished for Eaglepaw to hear his words, his voice heavy with regret and sadness; he recalled the one clan cat that had been struck down, perhaps he could use that later. He had to stop a purr from escaping his throat, proud of his own idea. His golden eyes watched the apprentice's expression closely. "Unfortunately. I don't think your clan will come for you now. They simply allowed us to leave with you after all. We weren't chased, or attacked once we left your camp. Not even trailed." He stood and walked over to the smaller cat, though he appeared relaxed, he was prepared to pin the weakened tom down if needed. "Even if we were to let you go, I don't think your clan would accept you back without suspension, I'm sure many would want to; but they would probably assume you made a deal with us." He crouched down, giving the cat a convincing look of fake concern, like a mother would to her kit. "I will talk to the others, and I'll try to help you as best as I can. You dislike me, and that's smart- I am your enemy. Regardless though, I do wish to help you. I only expect that you behave as to not give my family a greater reason to ask for your death. Maybe we could have you exiled far away, I'm not sure...I'm sorry." The tom then stood, towering over Eaglepaw. "I think you should get some rest- try to at least. I was instructed to protect you. So I will be at the entrance. I will not lay a claw on you, and neither will anyone else." He padded away towards the entrance. Sitting down with his back to the clan cat. Sunny was picked up on the fact that the clan cat wasn't stupid, he knew that it would know better than to try to escape or attack.

Eaglepaw was getting increasingly frustrated with Sunny's weirdly friendly tone. "I didn't plainly murder anyone. Jax died but that other one still lived. I saw him!" He hissed, standing up from where he was sitting. "You don't know anything about my family or the clan. They will come for me and you better be prepared to fight for your life." His tail lashed angrily behind him. He didn't even process the full story the golden tabby fed him. The fake friendliness while trying to manipulate his feelings - he should've seen it coming. Once Sunny walked up to him he did his utter best not to claw at his face and it took every inch of his body to keep his thoughts to himself. "Don't bother." He growled after the tom when he walked off. The apprentice turned around and curled up in the corner, positioning himself so he could still have an eye on Sunny. He didn't trust the tom for one bit. The tabby wasn't going to help him, no rogue would help him. He was all alone in this and all he could hope for was that his clan would come rescue him soon. It was in Starclan's paws now.

Sunny smiled at the cat’s words, this was becoming very, very entertaining. Sunny turned to his prisoner with widened eyes, a look of surprise on his face, then pity. “You...you don’t know do you?” He asked, his voice a boom in the silent air that filled the den. “I’m not talking about someone from my group.” He said quietly. He watched the cat for a moment before turning away again, deciding to leave the cat wondering instead of giving him peace. He felt no pity for the cat that got himself in this situation over some prey. The cat was young and prideful, dangerous things that often lead to failure from Sunny’s experience. As far as Sunny was concerned, it was merely natural section- the golden tabby would’ve played along with being allies for a bit, until he got bored at least. The clan hadn’t even attempted to lie or manipulate, no fake secrets or acting weak. His stubbornness and pride would be his downfall if he did not learn quickly. “I’m sorry for you loss.” He calmly added, a sad tone to his voice. He felt happy with how much he had toyed with the cat, he could see how irritated the clan cat was becoming. Sure, the cat would not be easily manipulated but it was still fun to poke fun at his pride.

Eaglepaw was confused at what Sunny was getting at. "Yeah well, stop beating around the bush and just tell me then if you want to talk so much." He had enough of the toying around and now that he figured entertaining Sunny had no positive outcome for him he wasn't interested in it anymore. His tailtip twitched back and forth. The rogue was probably lying anyway, right? It did worry him though, what if something happened to his father? No, that couldn't be. The tabby was just trying to get under his skin with his backhanded comments. "I'm sorry for your loss too." He retorted.

For once, Sunny said nothing, his attention seeming to be completely on the den entrance. He could feel the cat’s irritation, he assumed the cat was glaring at him. Sunny felt pleased with with how everything has gone in their conversation. It wasn’t perfect, but there’s no entertainment value if you knew what to expect. His golden tabby tail thumped once on the ground, as if he was acknowledging that Eaglepaw had spoken to him, but no other indication was made. He would see if he will get a chance to continue this game tomorrow, but as of now, it would be best to let the clan cat sit all night an wonder. Sunny couldn’t help but think about what Gail will do to the cat. He assumed Ollie will get to mess around with him then they would send him back, pitiful and defeated. However, maybe the cat will simply be killed, either way, Sunny did not care.

Eaglepaw rested his head onto his frontpaws now that Sunny seemed to be done with their conversation. Finally, silence. Now it bothered him though, the tabby had been all chatty and talks but once he asked him to explain more he ignored him, of course. He'd better try to get some sleep now. Whatever they were planning to do to him was going to happen anyway, so he might as well be rested to give them a little resistance. He was very tired and after worrying for some time he finally drifted off into sleep.

Eaglepaw was hopefully alive, but he was surely uncomfortable wherever he was. Putting her head down she closed her eyes, hoping to wake after everything had calmed down.
