(Just to be sure Snowfeather will follow Scorchtail the next time he goes to meet Mystic correct?)
"Depends." Falconfrost mewed looking out towards the lake for a couple of minutes before looking back at Pearlmoon. "The rogues come in different sizes although, I think we are bigger and definitely better fed. Some of them look rather rough scars all over and missing patches of fur. Others look well off, I think a few used to be kittypets."

(Yeah!)
Pearmoon glanced over the lake, follwowing Falconfrost's gaze. There was nothing strange to see or at least, so it seemed. "Kittypets? They must've gotten bored with their twolegs to come here and stir everything up." She sighed and marked a few more places. "What fo you think they've come to do?"
--------------
Scorchtail bursted into a run, his paws taking him to the places where he buried some pieces of prey before he met up with Mystic. He couldnt come back to camp empty pawed. With two squirrels in his jaws he padded into camp, his green gaze scanning around for Snowfeather. After he dropped one of the squirrels onto the pile he made his way over to the nursery with the other one still hanging from his jaws, hoping to find the she-cat there. He'd gathered all his courage to have this talk and even though he really didn't want to hurt her she deserved to know what was on his mind. "Snowfeather? I brought you some prey."

Snowfeather had been dozing off wakes up and lets out a small yawn. "Oh, thank you." She mewed happy to see him. She eyes the squirrel eager to sink her teeth into it. Being pregnant made her so hungry!
Falconfrost shrugged his shoulders. "Who knows plotting against us most likely." He remarked. "Any cat who needs a twoleg to take care of them is strange. I bet most of them can barely fight in all." He doesn't care much for kittypets and considered them of them as cowards.
Once the border was properly marked, Wolfstar lingers for a few extra minutes before looking back at his patrol. "Let's head back before a rouge spots us."

Phoenix sat in the brambles, watching the patrol as they set their markers down. She grinned. This wasn’t a problem for the rogues as they didn’t care for borders, but it was better to know what the clan was planning. And Phoenix had left early in the morning to scout, to spy. It wasn’t necessarily part of them plan, but it would be useful anyway. She didn’t consider jumping out and attacking the patrol, her small size was her advantage as was surprise, but she knew they would be collected and fight as one. Plus she was way outnumbered. Her hackles lifted slightly at the words of the clan cats, wishing she didn’t have to hear them talk about her friends, her family. She just had to stay quiet and hidden and she would be ok, though if another rouge came to join her, she wouldn’t refuse.

Scorchtail was glad Snowfeather appreciated the squirrel he brought. The red tom sat down near her, and glanced at her belly. It must be a real burden to carry such a heavy weight everywhere. After giving Snowfeather some time to eat he decided to just tell her the truth. It was time. “I have to tell you something.” He paused for a moment, pondering on how to continue.
“I’ve been feeling off for a while.. and I want to be honest to you. I feel we’ve been growing apart for a while now. And I know I was a big part of making that happen and for that I am really sorry... but I think it’s better if we go our separate ways.” His green eyes searched her’s for a reaction, his tailtip twitching nervously behind him. Bringing bad news had never been one of the things he’d been good at.
“But that doesn’t mean I won’t support you and the kits. I will always be there for you. And for them.” The fact that Scorchtail didn’t want to continue as mates didn’t mean he stopped caring about the she-cat. She had been a big part of his life and for that he was very grateful. It wasn’t her fault and it wasn’t Mystic’s fault; it was just the way he felt and had been feeling for a while.
————
Pearmoon nodded at Falconfrost. She could somewhat agree with his views. It would be better for kittypets to stay with their twolegs and live their soft life. Even though Pearmoon wasn’t much of a fighter she knew some moves and she was pretty confident she had enough warriorskills to give a kittypet a good run. But maybe some kittypets were just born in the wrong place, who knew. At Wolfstar’s call she followed her leader back into Tempestclan territory, walking with the other warriors.

(I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but maybe it'd be a good idea to remove some members who haven't been active for a long time? To create some space for new members to join? Or maybe we could try to contact them and ask them if they plan on returning? Idunno..)

As she listened, Snowfeather's heart began to sink. She had a feeling this day would come but the news still hurt. She pins her ears back and looks down at the ground. "I understand." She mewed doing her best to keep her voice steady. Last thing she wanted to do was cry in front of him. Least he would be there for the kits, Snowfeather didn't know if she could lie to her kits about their father. "Tell me is this because of another?" Snowfeather forced herself to look up at Scorchtail to see his reaction.
Wolfstar kept his guard up and would look around to make sure the patrol wasn't being followed. One advantage they had was that the rogues had no clue where their camp was located. Wolfstar hoped to keep it that way. Bluehawk hoped they would return to camp soon.

(Haha sneaky Phoenix ;p )
Scorchtail forcefully swallowed the lump in his throat and he felt his heart break at the sight of Snowfeather’s pained face. There was no turning back now though. He wanted to comfort her but he wasn’t sure if that would be a good idea. The large tom was actually surprised at her question about someone else. There was someone else, that was true. But the fact that they didn’t work out as mates had nothing to do with Mystic and he certainly didn’t want to make Snowfeather feel like he just traded her in for another. “No. It’s not because of another. It’s because of me. I really am sorry Snowfeather.” He meowed, shuffling his paws uncomfortably under him. It was hard not to tell her everything but he couldn’t endanger Mystic’s safety.
———
Pearmoon made her way back to Tempestclan camp along with the other warriors and their leader. The patrol had been less action-filled than she’d expected - which was a good thing. However, it was sad to think that they had to expect attacks might be occurring regularly and they had to be on their toes with the rogues around. It was good to know that Wolfstar seemed to be determined to make sure Tempestclan would be safe.

(Ooo you mean like a rogue that will pretend to become a clancat?)
Gail had been talking to Smoke about the clancat or ‘spy’ he brought. She decided to pause this conversation, she needed to think on it. When she dismissed the tom from her den her gaze caught the shape of Phoenix approaching her. Patiently she waited for the she-cat to reach her, it looked like she had something to tell.

(Yeah that makes sense! And when Malruth comes back there could always be two)
Gail nodded in greeting to the she-cat, listening carefully to what she had to say. “Well well well, they want to show us how ballsy they are.” She grinned slyly. “This is useful information. I appreciate that.” Her white tail twitched behind her while she pondered for a moment on what the best response would be to the clancat’s move. “I guess we could repay them in the same manner.”

Name: Violet Description: Violet is a dark gray, almost black she-cat with dark blue eyes. In the right light, her eyes can have a tint of purple, which is how she got her name. In the sunlight, she can appear to have very faint dappled markings along her body. Age: 36 moons Personality: Violet is a sneaky cat, never wanting to be in one place for very long. Staying in the shadows, she can stay undetected for a while and is clever with her words. Her sly ways can leave bad impressions, but Violet's words can usually be enough to quench troubled thoughts. Rank: Rogue Crush: N/A Mates: N/A Family: Stormy(sister) Background: Violet never really joined the rogues, but shadowed after them because her sister did. Her independent lifestyle never crossed the paths of the rogues, until now. Recently, she has made herself known because she figured out about their enemy, Tempestclan. She doesn't want her sister to be hurt and so figures she might be of use to the rogues in the future. All she hopes is that they do come to her, as she would never walk right up to them. Screen Name: Robinbreeze

"Yes." Gail meowed determinedly, she could do with a little trip into Tempestclan territory. Smoke would stay behind to keep a lookout in camp with the other rogues. "I think we will have to send a clear message tonight. We should catch a few pieces of prey and leave it dismembered and scattered on their territory." She knew her fair share about clancats and their way of life; she knew about their worship of Starclan and their petty code. All their beliefs and their code, the talking dead cats nonsense, Gail would make sure to thrash on everything that was dear to them. It would be hard to leave prey uneaten when it was scarse to them but it surely would be worth it. It might even attract other animals to help pester the clan away from their territory. Hopefully they could catch some more to take back to feed their family - caught from the territory of the clancats of course. The last few days they had been eating well since they started hunting past the borders.

(Scorchtail and Pearmoon would trust Sparrow easily but even if he doesn't get to be a spy, Gail and Phoenix could still meet him and try to persuade him to join the rogues. It would make for some great tension between the siblings as Sparrow would hear all these bad things about the clan and such hehe.
Voilet is like the rogue's 007, she sounds good! )

Phoenix unwrapped her tail and lashed it enthusiastically, nodding her head in agreement. “They’ll regret ever standing in our way. We’ll show them we are strong; stronger than they could ever be.” She stood and lifted her head. Then, she tilted her head. “Who are you taking?” She hoped to go and leave her mark. Well, another mark. She had already left her scent, but Gail’s plan was something she wanted to be a part of.
Sparrow padded toward the den, still on the lookout for Mystic. She had left earlier to hunt, but hadn’t yet come back. He had a strange feeling that it was because of that tom. He shook his head in disgust and slipped into the den, coming up short as he noticed Mystic’s light pelt. “Oh, you’re back. Where have you been? I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” His mewed rises dramatically, but he had worried a lot. As she tried to defend herself, he shook his head. “You just seem to be so distant all of a sudden. Was it because of earlier, with those clan cats?” Sparrow lifted his lip in a silent snarl as she froze. But as she continued talking about the tom, Scorchtail, he couldn’t stand it. “No!” He yowled and backed up. “I’m going for a walk. I’ll come back when I’ve cooled down, ok?” With that, he turned and headed in the direction of the lake with his head down.
Mystic jumped as Sparrow padded into the den. Quickly, she tried to explain, “I- I was.. hunting.” She let out a heavy sigh as he guessed where she had been and nodded. “Alright, yes it was him. His name is Scorchtail and he’s so sweet, Sparrow. He’s... I don’t know. I think I’m in love.” Her eyes tried to look into Sparrow’s, to try to make him understand, but he refused. As he stomped away, she sighed. “Be careful,” was all she called out as he vanished into the undergrowth. Curling up in her nest, she placed her head on her paws. “He’ll come around. He’ll see that I’m happy,” she whispered to herself. That was all she needed to think.

(Another idea just to stir the pot even more. I always imagined the current season to be early green-leaf but we could move into Leaf-Fall. The weather could get a lot colder than normal and maybe sends the prey into hiding much to the Clan and rogues dismay)
"Ya know my mother always said you would break my heart one day." Snowfeather said jokingly trying to make the situation a little lighter. She clears her throat and takes a moment to compose herself. "I don't really know what to say and I may need a minute or two to let this all sink in." She really just wanted to cry. Despite his words, Snowfeather had a feeling his heart was for another!

(Oooff yes, that’ll make it really hard on them and make the tensions even worse! Robinbreeze When do you want to bring in Violet? After they’ve talked to Sparrow?) “I guess she was right.” Scorchtail mustered up a smile at Snowfeather’s joke. He felt like such a prick for doing this to her but it was good that everything was out in the open now. Now Snowfeather knew the truth, or like 95% of it. He hoped they could move forward on good terms. “I understand.” Scorchtail nodded. “I’ll come check up on you later, okay? Or do you want me to leave you alone for a while?” He asked as he rose to his paws, unsure how to handle the situation. It was all new to the two of them. ———- Gail took a short moment to think and glanced around the cats in the clearing. “I’ll take you with me. And Raven.” She decided, Phoenix had earned this trip with her good work. And Raven was an outstanding hunter, which would come of great use. The sun was going down as they spoke, by the time they’d reach the lake the sky would be dark. The white she-cat stretched and walked away from her den, gesturing for Phoenix to follow. Raven, who had just finished a piece of prey, was sitting with some other cats. “Raven, tonight you will go with us to teach the clancats a lesson.” After the she-cat nodded willingly, the group moved out of their camp and set course for the lake. She’d make an announcement to the rest of the cats after their little mission, to let them know what had been going on.

(Yeah, I that’s what I was thinking. Or perhaps Violet follows them on their mission...? Idk I’ll right a post for her.)
Phoenix grinned as Gail chose her. Standing, she followed the white she-cat and dipped her head to Raven. As they padded out of the camp, she moved a little ways away from the small group in order to cover more ground. Though she stayed within earshot just in case Gail wanted her. As they approached the border, Phoenix slowed, ears perked for any sign of cat or prey. She could hear many creature wiggling in the undergrowth, but a closer shuffling signaled her. Crouching, she padded after it and pounced, tearing into the mouse with unsheathed claws. Taking a small bite of it, she relished its warmth before leaving it to be found by the clan cats.
Violet slunk through the undergrowth, watching through narrowed eyes as Gail, Phoenix and Raven left the camp. She had briefly heard their plans and figured this was as good a time as any to make herself known. She had been trying to show herself for a while now, but every time she simply didn’t. Keeping low, she followed out of earshot of the group, wanting to wait for the perfect time to show herself.

(I don’t mind, she can jump in whenever you want!)
Gail watched Phoenix approvingly. “You can tear it apart and just scatter the pieces. Go crazy.” She smirked, already imagining the clancat’s distraught faces at the sight of it. As they walked on a few more creatures got caught in the claws of the rogues and their bodyparts were laid out everywhere for the clancats to find, their blood glinting in the moonlight. A little further down the borderline Gail caught the smell of an unfamiliar cat. It didn’t bare the scent of Tempestclan, neither of one of her roguefamily. She heaved her paw to quickly wash the blood of her muzzle and gestured with her tail for Phoenix and Raven to join her. “Do you smell that too?”

Phoenix nodded at Gail’s words, shredding the mouse apart. She hated ruining prey that could have easily been their next meal, but after this mission, she knew the rogues would feast. She was also never one to question or disobey orders. As they continued through the forest, she kept her ears perked, unwilling to let any cat sneak up on them. Noticing Gail’s signal, Phoenix padded toward her, leaving a thrush behind in the dirt. When she opened her mouth, all she could taste was blood and Tempestclan. “I don’t smell anything other than the reek that we made and the muddy stench of the clan cats,” she growled, lifting her hackles slightly.
As Sparrow padded further from his and Mystic’s den, he tried to push his thoughts aside. If Mystic wanted to be with a Tempestclan cat, he couldn’t stop her. All he could do was try his best to keep her safe. It was what he had done his whole life. He knew the border was close and he figured he should head that way. He couldn’t encounter clan cats more than once in such a short time, right? It was horrible logic, but Sparrow didn’t care. He didn’t want to wander too far from Mystic and this was the only place he could think of. Only a few tail-lengths from the border, though, he noticed something strange. Prey was scattered about and torn in pieces. This couldn’t be right, he thought as he began to follow the blood trail. Toward the end, he assumed, he could hear voices. A small group of cats that didn’t seem like clan cats. Curious, Sparrow crouched. Though he was horrible at stalking, these cats looked well-muscled and would be nearly impossible to take in a fight.
Violet followed silently and swiftly behind the rogues, watching as they created a wide-spread blood path. It looked meaningless, but she knew better than to think like that. These cats had a purpose, and it wasn’t nonsense. She knew because she spied every single day, watching and waiting. She hadn’t been sure she should join them until now and she reckoned her sister would be happy to see her again. As she closed in on them, she paused, noticing the dark gray tom that also watched the group. He seemed to be spying, much like her, but he was too obviously there. She shook her head and padded around him to make sure she wasn’t noticed yet. This could be exciting.

(Violet sounds like a good win to the rogues 😝)
Gail turned around as her ears had picked up the sound of another cat. That was where the smell had come from, a gray tom who crouched nearby. “Well, hello there.” She meowed in an amused voice, her tail swishing nonchalantly behind her. This was no clancat, she was sure of that. It was unfortunate that she’d meet a newcomer in a setting like this - prey scattered everywhere. But she could explain what was going on if needed. “Are you lost?” She inquired, her tail giving a subtle signal to the other rogues to stay behind her as she moved closer to Sparrow. She wondered what a loner would do so close to a clanborder. Didn’t he know those clancats were ruthless? Dangerous? Agressive? Unwelcoming at least? She was curious to find out.
