Small group start up clan idea!!!

@nettles happy to see someone is interested, feel free to help me flesh this thing out, adding in backstories, history, and character roles

I've decided on the clans that they come from

Ridgeclan & Gorgeclan

Ridgeclan is located on the west side of the river where the mountainous terrain begin to form. Gorgeclan lives further downstream where the river narrows into a crossable stream and a deep gorge is located. Gorgeclan has a solid claim to everything on the east side of the stream, yet continues to fight for the immediate land (something similar to Sunning rocks) on the west side of the stream. This blurred border is the root cause of the strife and hatred between the clans.

Yeah, I dont want too many leaving, so that it would be realistic for the clan to let those cats go versus needing the muscle so much that they go searching for them. I also want there to be plenty of room for recruits (loners, rogues, and kittypet).

As for which direction to go, upstream will take them deep into the mountains while downstream will take them into more fertile land. They could possibly consider crossing to the other side of the mountains but it is the begining of leafbare and those that are leaving the clans will already be battle worn and skinny. The easiest option is to head downstream unless there is a specific reason for them to cross through the mountains.

As for the status of the clans, there is practically no elders left and the ones that are left have no chance of making it through the heart of leafbare. Younger elders were pulled from retirement back to their warriors duties, and kits are being apprenticed way too early, probably as early as just before 5 moons.

any preference for form style? otherwise ill default to the form youre using.

- a gorgeclan tom who tends to follow everybody around and finds out about pinewhiskers relationship, but keeps it a secret in exchange for being able to leave with him when the time comes

Galepaw is a white tom with short fur, and a plume-like tail. He is unusually small, even for his age, and many agree he’s unlikely to be much larger when he’s older. He has large paws that make him somewhat clumsy, and large, round pale blue eyes.
Galepaw is a bit reckless and eager to impress, and will often get himself into dangerous situations while trying to show off. Despite this, he’s willing to listen and wait for cats he respects, and he’s a quick learned when he puts his mind to it.
One of many GorgeClan cats apprenticed early to continue the war. His mother, Driftfoot, was put back on warrior duties when he was 4 moons old, and died shortly after in battle, and his father, Cloudfur, died before he was born. He is apprenticed to Pinewhisker and looks up to him quite a bit.

Brighttail is a massive jet-black she-cat, with a thick pelt, sturdy shoulders, large paws, and a broad muzzle. She was named for the bands of white fur around her long, thick tail that match the white patches over her narrow, bright geeen eyes.
Brighttail is seen as no-nonsense, with a quiet, intimidating aura and stern attitude that often frightens away potential relationships. Despite this, she has a soft core, and becomes easily flustered in romantic situations, and when it comes to strong bonds, she is willing to drop her disciplined nature.
In a secret relationship with the GorgeClan warrior Pinewhisker.

Fogstripe

Fogstripe is a thin, long-limbed cinnamon-and-silver tabby, with short, sleek fur, a long, whip-like tail, and thin, angular features that give him a constantly smug look. He has long, thin ears with tufts of fur at the end and narrow, pale green eyes.
Fogstripe has a bit of a gossip-y attitude, always poking his nose where it doesn’t belong and using his own methods to find out everybody’s dirty little secrets. While he rarely blackmails, he’s not truly above using it to get his way, and will become frustrated when others don’t bend to his demands. Despite his flaws, he is loyal to a fault to those who have proven themselves to be true friends, and his cunning and analytical nature makes him an excellent asset.
He was mates with a tom named Stormstrike, but became disillusioned with the clan and their ongoing war when Stormstrike was killed in one of many needless battles. Since then, he has been looking for an opportunity to leave the clan.

Once I finish putting dinner on, I will get the RP up and rolling i would also like to make a cat to tag along with Brighttail if nobody else joins in. Maybe a sister or best friend.
