Exactly what my thread says; list character inconsistencies, event inconsistencies, story inconsistencies, and structural inconsistencies, except there are rules:
Post the name of the character, and a description of how they are described in the first published book that they are described in. Then use quotes from that book itself to write in a few words or short sentences how their personality is described. After that, examine how that cat’s personality changes or evolves naturally through each book from their birth to their current status, again citing evidence from the books. Next, list how any inconsistencies were created around that character and cite quotes as evidence.
Note that I will be editing this one specific first post to create a mega list of how all the inconsistencies evolved.
I really hope that this thread gets lots of posts, as it would really help me with writing my fanfiction rewrite crossover that I am writing.

If you need this for personal reasons, the wiki has an entire page dedicated to just the inconsistencies in the books.

If you need this for personal reasons, the wiki has an entire page dedicated to just the inconsistencies in the books. My personal reason is just a side note. I also think it would. be fun to not only list the inconsistencies, but also talk about how the authors were originally developed characters from the first published book that they appear in. However, I will check out the wiki page you mentioned, as it would help me with creating the list as I am not only listing inconsistencies if you did read my original post closely.

OH didn't read the entire OP so this may not be entirely relevant, sorry.
I have way too many inconsistencies and for many of them I don't know exact pages but I'll list some more difficult ones and write approx. where they are.
TNP: Squirrelflight is apprentice to Dustpelt. SqH: Squirrelflight was Bramblestar's apprentice.
OotS The Forgotten Warrior: "it is not StarClan's place to judge him [Ashfur]," "if he found his way here then we must believe he deserves to be here" (said by Bluestar) SqH: Squirrel and Leafpool are being judged by StarClan even after finding their way there.
TPB: Sometimes counting days can make the half moon gathering land on a night of new moon, while most of the times a half moon is described TNP: Sometimes there were two half moon gatherings between two full moon gatherings and sometimes only one. PoT + OotS: Mostly one half moon gathering about 8 days after the full moon gathering. AVoS + TBC: Mostly one half moon gathering about 8 days before the full moon gathering.
I'll edit this post later if more return to my mind

Just an fyi, giving rules to posting on a thread isn’t really the best way to get engagement
Anyway, Rowanclaw’s gender swap is pretty iconic

That is the purpose of this list. To find out exactly once and for all, the exact number of how many inconsistencies are in Warriors. I think that with many people working on this will help as opposed to just me.

I do understand what you are trying to do. I think it’s just that this forum is more used to casual conversation and free-flowing thought, so to see a thread with a lot of rules about what you can and can’t contribute (limited to those who have the time to comb through book copies to find evidence) can be kinda jarring. It’s just not what most people expect from threads here.

It’s just not what most people expect from threads here. Thanks for your compliment that my thread is a subversion of typical threads. I really am trying to see just how many inconsistencies there are in Warriors. I posted this here because I would also like to see people discussing about whether some of these inconsistencies are truly inconsistencies. I know that many of them are truly inconsistencies, however, there are some clever arguments that can be made to prove that some of the (lesser known) inconsistencies are consistent with the characters. Or maybe discussions on what do the inconsistencies with Warriors tell us about the style of limited third person. I began with my strict rules in my original post to get this thread started. However I truly want people to bring up many of the more lesser known ones.
