....I have mixed feelings about him...but i don't think he'd ever actually admit fault...minus the one time with his mom. As funny as this is, The Blazing Star is literally all about him owning up to his actions and making amends, so he already felt remorseful even before he reunited with Quiet Rain. Heck, the entire reason the battle at the Four Trees ended was because he called it off.

I just think that he caused a lot of strife that WAS never addressed, and that's what bothers me. But I do acknowledge that he made a comeback in the latter books, and he's definitely a great character, even if I don't like him, personally. The point of the drawing is just that he straight up says this line in Moth Flight's Vision, and I can't help but laugh everytime. Not to be taken too seriously.

As far as redemption arcs go in this series, his was easily the best, but even then, there are issues. And in the case of MFV, we know how terribly Skystar handles grief, but his behavior in that book is obviously an inconsistency, not helped at all by the fact that the book was written with his portrayal in the first half in mind anyway.
