Thymeclan New members needed

Cherrywish - Camp - Icewhisper
Cherrywish listened to Icewhisper, her ears peeking by in surprise. A kit? How in Starclan did Smokeshade and his apprentice find a kit? “Well, that certainly is interesting. I’d like to see her before we head out.” The dark ginger she-cat padded after Icewhisper to the den and peered inside. She could see both Smokeshade and the kit from where she was, but it was hard to see the details. She looked malnourished, definitely, but with the clan’s help she would become a fine warrior. That is, if she chose to. Cherrywish grinned and stepped back, allowing the medicine cat through. “I think I’m ready,” she mewed, before adding, “As I’ll ever be.” She allowed Icewhisper to lead the way to the Moon Mushrooms, her tail twitching nervously.

(I’m not sure how I’m supposed to go through the nine lives ceremony, and I have an early day tomorrow. So, I could probably get a big post for that first thing tomorrow morning, unless we just want to add it to the thyme-skip.)

"Wow. 6 moons old but looks maybe 4. I heard she looked pretty small. I'm glad Smokeshade and Jaypaw found her then." Webwillow said eyeing Coalkit and hoping she wouldn't wake the kit. "I'm sure she will be staying in the nursery soon enough."

Snowdapple nodded. "She will stay in the den as soon as Icewhisper clears her." Snowdapple purred. She watched as the younger warrior glanced at Coalkit. "Shes tuckered out you won't wake her."

Basilwhisker nodded at Adderheart and turned around to head back out of camp after dropping his fish in the freshkill pile.

Wishkit ran and got the ball when Moss ball was mentioned. "Here you go guys" she said throwing the ball into the middle of the group.

Gazekit watched as the ball rolled toward him. He hit it to Wolfkit.

"Wow. We know much more about the kit now. I'm guessing that while she's probably the same age as the other kits she can't be more than 6 moons." Turtlepool said.

Cherrystar - Camp - Thymeclan
Cherrystar took a deep breath as she entered the camp, her clanmates spread before her. She blinked at Icewhisper as she headed toward her den and padded toward her own den. Bunching her muscles, the dark ginger she-cat leaped onto a low branch of a tree near her den. “Let all cats old enough to catch their prey gather before me for a clan meeting,” she yowled. As the clan gathered, she dipped her head. “I am honored to be the one leading this clan, though I do wish that both Thymestar and Elmsong were here today. I have received my nine lives and now I must choose a deputy to help me lead this wonderful clan.” She paused to look around at all of her clanmates. “I say these words before Starclan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Thymeclan is Hollowsky!”

Getting up my starters for the thymeskip. Feel free to set up your own starters or rp with me when I'm done.))


Snowdapple
Snowdapple hadn't gotten much sleep the night before snd and she was pretty tired but she got up when the kits stirred. She padded out of the nursery and layed down outside the den with a sigh. "I need to expand the den today." She said mostly to herself.

Wishkit, Gazekit, and Coalkit
Wishkit stirred early in the morning ready to play. She wanted to get a glimpse of Cherrystar since she adored the new leader and aspired to be like her. She grabbed the moss ball that had been made up and tossed it to Gazekit.

Gazekit caught the ball and tossed it back to Wishkit. He wasn't quite as full of energy as his sister but he was awake. He had his body angled toward the Medicine den watching for when Icewhisper came out.

Coalkit yawned and squeaked not wanting to get up with the others. She was tired like Snowdapple and layed near her mother to watch the clan awaken and come to life.

Poppyhawk
Poppyhawk came out of the nursery where she had started to stay recently. She was getting stronger by the day and her pelt didn't hang loosely across her body any more. Prey and playing with the other kits had filled her out some. She was still skinny but she didn't look near as bad as she did when she first came into the clan. She looked around for someone to talk to as she had gotten to trust most of the clan cats she met. Her two favorite were Smokeshade and Sakura though.

Turtlepool
Turtlepool woke up with a start. She was breathing heavy and her heart beat fast. She had had a dream that she was being chased by a fox and she had woken up just as it grabbed her. She stood up and shook out her fur. Walking out of the den made her feel better knowing she was safe inside the camp. She layed down outside the den and watched as the kits came out and started to play.

Frostfeather
Frostfeather walked into camp and her fur was still damp from fishing. She carried two large fish and a smaller one in her jaws. She padded over and dropped the two larger ones in the freshkill pile and settled down with the smaller one to eat.

Basilwhisker
Basilwhisker lay in his nest his nose twitching. He hadn't fallen asleep yet having paced the forest floor all night. He was still struggling with the loss of Thymestar. He closed his eyes and sleep finally overwhelmed him.

Ivysplash
Ivysplash was out in the forest. He had been hunting since before dawn but hadn't found much of anything as the entire world slept. He decided to get some moss instead. Scraping it off a nearby tree and picking out any debris. He set out for camp where he would let the moss dry out.

Cherrystar - Camp - Open
Cherrystar yawned, stretching her front legs out in front of her. She took a moment to clean her pelt before exiting the den, gazing around at her clanmates. She first noticed the kits playing near the nursery and Sakura with Poppyhawk. She grinned at the sight of the two former loners, admiring how the gray and white she-cat had taken the tiny kit under her wing. Turning her attention away from the group, she settled down at the entrance to her den.

Sakura - Camp - Poppyhawk
Sakura jumped from her tree and padded into camp as Poppyhawk walked out of the nursery. She held a strong bond with the kit that was found a moon ago and enjoyed talking with her. As she approached the small kit, she grinned. “Hello Poppyhawk. How are you today?”

Ebonyflame - Border - Open
Ebonyflame crouched low, wiggling her way through the brambles as she followed the trail of a sparrow. She stopped as a twig cracked under her paws, but the sparrow didn’t seem to hear it. Finally, she came into view of the bird, continuing forward until she was sure it would hear her with another step. The tortoiseshell she-cat prepared herself to race forward, as she was unable to leap onto the bird. Quickly, she fastened her pace and launched through the brambles. Squawking in surprise, her prey began to lift into the air. Ebonyflame hissed at the effort as she slammed her paw into the bird and quickly pinned it beneath her paws. Taking a few deep breaths, she bit into it before carrying it out of the brambles. She padded along the border as she considered turning for camp.

Weaselkit, Wolfkit and Foxkit

Weaselkit was busy trying to get Foxkit out of his nest. She stepped back when he batted at her, stuck out her tongue at him and padded out of the nursery. She ran over to Wishkit and Gazekit to join their game of moss ball.

Wolfkit was already outside the nursery. He sat in the shadows of some of the trees that made up the camp wall and watched his clanmates from there. Just one more moon and he would be an apprentice. Hopefully. During the last moon he had grown more uneasy around his older clanmates with each day. He wondered how long he could keep his secret from them. When he saw Wishkit and Gazekit leave the nursery he smiled a little. He would wait until his siblings got up too and then he would go over to them. It didn't take them long though. When Weaselkit ran over to their friends and Foxkit slowly padded after her he jumped to his paws and made his way over to the other kits.

Foxkit tried to bury himself deeper into his nest when Weaselkit tried to drag him out. His sister just didn't let him sleep in. Again. With a yawn he rolled over and batted at her. Then he followed her outside. He knew that if he didn't she would just come back to pester him some more. When Weaselkit ran to join Wishkit and Gazekit he followed more slowly, still feeling a little tired.

Heronflight

Heronflight had walked around camp a little, having felt a little restless when she had gotten up, and now she was making her way back to the elders den. She saw Turtlepool stepping out and lying down outside the den. She meowed a greeting and sat down. Then she glanced at Turtlepool again. "Is something wrong?" she asked. "You look like you didn't sleep so well." She then looked in the direction where the kits were. "Maybe it's just my imagination though," she added with a friendly smile, letting Turtlepool know that she didn't have to talk about it.

Icewhisper

Icewhisper padded out of her den and stood there for a while, watching her clanmates. Some cats were still inside their dens while others were already leaving camp. Then she looked over at the kits. She smiled when she saw Poppyhawk. The once malnourished kit had grown stronger and it seemed like she had settled in well. Gazekit and Wishkit were playing with a moss ball and were soon joined by their friends. Icewhisper flicked her tail and nodded as a way of greeting when she saw that Gazekit was looking her way.

Adderheart

Adderheart had left camp early and was hunting near the meadow. She hadn't found much yet but she would keep looking for prey for a while. With any luck she would find more soon. She could go back now and try again later but for now she wanted to see if she could catch at least one more piece of prey.

Darkclaw

Darkclaw walked out of the warriors den. On his way out he glanced at Basilwhisker, wondering what had kept him up for so long but he soon had an idea of what it was. Apparently the older warrior still needed time to deal with that. Darkclaw quietly sighed to himself and sat down near the fresh-kill pile.

Silverpaw

Stifling a yawn Silverpaw left the apprentices den. It was still early but most of his clanmates were up and about already. He looked around to see if Basilwhisker had left the warriors den yet and then looked for Coalkit. He spotted her near Snowdapple but the two of them looked tired. Maybe he could play with Coalkit later and get Pinepaw to join them.

Rainsong

Rainsong walked over to the fresh-kill pile and dropped off a squirrel and a shrew. Then he sat down a few tail-lenghts away and watched his clanmates.

Ripplefur

Ripplefur padded out of the warriors den and headed for the camp's entrance. She walked past Frostfeather and dipped her head as she meowed a greeting. Then she walked off into the forest, hoping to catch some prey too.

Wishkit squeaked when Weaselkit and the others came over. She threw the ball at Weaselkit right away "Good Morning!" She said brightly.

Gazekit nodded back at Icewhisper and wondered if he should go talk to her. He wanted to of course but he didn't want to take her away from some other cat that probably needed her more.

Turtlepool started to shake her head and then stopped. "Just a bad dream. Fox was chasing me." She said matter of factly. She didn't dream often but when she did it usually meant she didn't sleep well after.

Frostfeather dipped her head back at Ripplefur before tucking into her fish.

Duskfire just try your best or you can pm me and practice before you jump in. I have a bunch of starters for cats above. I have Snwdapple, Frostfeather, and Ivysplash all open and in camp))

"Do you think Cherrystar will make me an apprentice soon? I'm much stronger than I was and I'm getting bored of being stuck in camp." She said impatiently.

Snowdapple and Coalkit OPEN

Basilwhisker sighed when he heard Duskfire. "I just got to sleep. I've been up all night." Je complained while getting up. "Do you want to go hunting?" He asked trying to think of something that would be done quickly so he could get back to sleep.
