After hearing about the scandal I don't want to use his prompt list.
I was wondering if anyone had any alternatives?

I've seen people doing Artober, Goretober, OC-tober, Cringetober, and a lot more :0 I think people have just been coming up with things they'd like to do themselves since Inktober isn't good to do.

what even went down?
also, bet another 'official' list will pop up somewhere if you don't like the original dude's list it is just a list after all, and there already were plenty of 'unofficial' lists
I wouldn't let one person ruin a perfectly good challenge that always has amazing turnout and lots of cool art

I think the originator of the Inktober list/hashtag was caught plagiarizing an art book. He trademarked 'Inktober' last year, and that pissed people off because it was popularized by the people who did art for it for like 10 years. Inktober has also been turned into something of a corporate cash grab, which is imo silly. Needless to say people, of course, can still do it but there really are so many better options nowadays.
