Welcome, welcome! I'm glad to see you're enjoying yourself thus far! I'm Mint. Friendly neighborhood moderator, but hopefully that isn't intimidating. I'm a very friendly and chatty bean. How you doing? What are some of your interests?

You absolutely HAVE to watch She-Ra!!! There has never been a show with more LGBT representation than She-Ra, and the plot is simply FANTASTIC. And the fandom... the She-Ra fandom is the most welcoming and active fandom that I have ever seen in my life! Anyways, enough about it, though I hope you’ll give it a try, the AU I’m writing is a Lionblaze/star AU (since I’m hoping he becomes leader by the end of TBC) . The AU is about events supposed to happen at the end of TBC, deaths (and returns) of many beloved characters, Lionstar’s leadership ceremony (just the ceremony is 4100 words, don’t ask me how I made it so long), and it is VERY gay, just like She-Ra! In my AU I included a ton of LGBT stuff like making Lionblaze the biggest lesbian ally (inspired from a lesbian ally Lionblaze animation video on YouTube) , it has lesbian cats, non-binary cats, and lots more! I’m really excited to finish it. Thank you for asking!

I know so little about it, which I feel is probably the best time to see it. Ooooo! That's a fun AU! I would be so down to read it if you were ever inclined to share it! I totally need to have better LGBTQ+ stories in my fan fiction, but I can't say I've gotten to that point yet where I've done that. Though that isn't to say I'm not eyeing one in my current story Land Which Stands Divided. I plan for their to be lesbian cats, but I have to try and see if I can balance it around all the Drama going on.

I think the reason it was so easy for me to include LGBT in my story is because of the She-Ra fandom, lol. I've seen and known a lot of LGBT people, and I know how they struggle to be accepted. So, it was very easy for me to include it in my AU while also making it part of the central plot (to say more would be to spoil the AU for you, and since you said you're interested, I wouldn't want to do that!). I'll probably post it here in the Fan Fiction section, though I don't know how that would work since I'm pretty sure a 11-12k, maybe even longer AU would be too long to post in one thread, and I don't think I'm allowed to share a link to a site like AO3 if I post it there (since you're a moderator, could you confirm?). To be honest, this is the first fan fiction I'm going to post on the internet. But yeah, I'll for sure share it so you can read it!

XD I myself am in the LGBTQ community as is most or almost all of my friends. So it's not unusual for me to have large and prominent LGBTQ characters in my original works. In the case of my AUs I usually already go way too complicated with the plot, leaving no room for romance of any sort. Gender-non-conforming is a yes though. But romance has never been my strong suit to write alongside a drama intensive plot. @.@ I ain't that good. (Yessss. I am indeed interested!) Nope! I think each thread post is ... 20k, if memory serves. And trust me ... you aren't even close to the longest fic in WFF. That would be the 100k+ monster that is Shadowface's Curse. A trick here would be to save multiple posts and then edit your fic into those posts. A ton of fic writers here do it. And nope! You're allowed to share links here. Just so long as it isn't to sites that are illegal (and if the site is 18+ it needs to have a large warning near the link and such if memory serves.) WFF is a really welcoming place as well, so I'm sure you'd get a majority of them to read it. ^^

But thank you for being so welcoming! <3 I can’t wait to finish it this week and share it here!

Well, I’m a bit sad that school is going to start , after (6!!!) months of not going to school (even though we were told that the first month of school this year is going to be online, but it’s still sad, and I’ll have to actually go after) and it’s going to be a bit weird, but it had to start at some point. Honestly, the last 6 months, from March until now, don’t even feel like 6 months, I remember the day when someone leaked VOS and I read it 2 days early before its release like it was yesterday. So, I’ve lost track of time!

For the most part, my job has actually been more intensive than school. Hopefully it stays that way, since it's been one thing after the other otherwise. I have gotten back into Warriors though, so that's a big plus! I recently read Thunder and Shadow.

And I just got Shattered Sky, so I'm glad to hear that! Ah! Harper Collins no longer wanted to put in the money to support the old forums. A think we were basically give a certain amount of time, say goodbyes, and save stuff. But the people who created this place offered way to not have to say goodbye - this is a free platform to run off of for the most part - so we ended up coming here for the most part. According to fan rumor, it was costing a really pretty penny to run the old forums - plus the fact they payed their mods and things like that (I and the other are volunteer). Moving here has been good though, in my humble opinion. We have better options and opportunities here. But anyway, yep! That's what happened.

Thank you for explaining Let’s talk about something else, who’s your favorite Warriors character, and what’s your favorite book? For me, my 3 favs (I love them equally, though between you and me, Skystar is my favorite because he’s been my fav character for a very long time) are Skystar, Tigerheart and Lionblaze. My favorite book is The Last Hope , since it’s the most dramatic and intense book. I’d love to know yours!

Since I was waiting for it for, oh, since The Fourth Apprentice came out. Anyway, I also usually like most of the various medicine cats and I have a fondness for Feathertail and Whitestorm that is unmatched.

I‘ve seen a few people say that fans have started leaving the fandom after The Last Hope because “the series changed too much” (the main character dying) and I don’t really get it? This fandom gets bigger each day, and the series in general gets better, it’s not even been 2 years since the new website launched, for example. I mean chances are that the people who left either got back into the series or simply not that many left, but I wasn’t there, so I don’t know 🤷♂️

I think a lot of people really came in because of the Broken Code, from what I have seen. A think a couple people stopped reading after the Last Hope, but I think it was more because of Dawn of the Clans. It was a ... highly controversial expected series back in the day, because people didn't think there would EVER be a modern Warrior series again. And at the time, that's what a lot of people wanted. Then it turned out Dawn of the Clans was at least decent and that helped, but for a while I think people left or stopped reading because of that. But a lot of people came back for AVoS and TBC. So I don't know ...
