I didn't really expect the forum to really be that active anymore, but it seems like there's still quite a lot of people. Also, I'm probably not who you think I am, since my current name is completely based on a recent D&D character and not at all connected to who I have been on these forums in the past. I actually don't want to associate with those past identities of myself, but I do want to come back to the thing that made me happy and got me onto the internet back in 2009. Warrior Cats was a huge part of my childhood, as was Seekers - and with the stress of life recently, and my own anxieties after coming out as non-binary to a lot of family and friends, I wanted to reconnect with that past part of me.

I like a lot of things~
Right now I've been sort of hyper fixated on Funimation's recent simulcast "The Millionaire Detective - Balance: Unlimited" but also working on my own Webtoon Project.
Aside from that, I like various anime ( ghibli movies, TRIGGER studio works like Promare or Brand New Animal and Gurren Lagann, HUNTER X HUNTER, PRETEAR, Princess Jellyfish, Princess Tutu, Black Clover, Trigun, Black Cat, etc. )
I like Doctor Who ( though I haven't seen much of either new iterations! ), Marvel, some DC comics,
DISNEY
I also really like a bunch of youtubers
Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, Thomas Sanders, Crankgameplays, The Theorists Channels ( Game, Film, Food, and GTLive )
I love video games
like
I have too many to list but anything from Nintendo classics like Mario and Smash Bros to Breath of the WIld and games like Death Stranding or Detroit: Become Human and The Last Guardian. aaaaaa

I also really enjoy musicals so if you have any recommendations ( any of you! ) I'd happily try to find some way to watch it! Some of my favorites are things like Hamilton or the original CATS.

You have an alchemist character? I thought only I had those!BLACK CLOVER YESSSSSSSS! XD If you refresh the page, you'll run into my TARDIS signature eventually. It's on a sig rotater, so it's in there, as are several other vaguely DW or Marvel themed signatures. Also I too like to draw! I drew most of my signatures and occasionally when I like it, my avatar will be one of my drawings instead of a friend's. XD I like watching a lot of the same vein of things you like watching, it would seem! The art forum is pretty cool! We (yeah, i'm there) have it's own little friendly community, even if it looks a bit quiet sometimes. The character looks cool, so I bet the webtoon will be interesting as well! Musicals are my friend's thing, so I know some by osmosis. Newsies and Hadestown are two of my top listed. I really like them. Amélie is really good as well!

Yee! The world of the webcomic is based on technological alchemy, an alien Nanotech called Alchemites. Dart is a former alchemist from a super-corporation called SUPERNOVA, and is now part of a rebellion group called WILDFIRE - I could go on for ages about it sljkghd Black Clover is so good aaa Oooo I'll be sure to be on the lookout for one of them signatures then! I'll be sure to interact some then! If I recall, both the art and writing communities have been fairly friendly and supportive so it will be a nice change of pace from some of the... other communities I've been in. I still can't draw animals, but I can draw humans pretty well  I've heard of both of those but I haven't watched them yet! |

Please do go on for ages! I also always enjoy hearing about other people's stories, but always no pressure to talk about them. What's your favorite part in Black Clover? I personally love all the really wholesome and quotable lines, but I'm just a sappy person at heart. You wont be alone there! A lot of the Art Forum community also draws humans. (I personally have a Doctor Who comic going there, so there are certainly people who favor humans to draw.) And yesssss! I was born and bred in the WFF (Warriors Fan Fiction) section and they're all really friendly. So is Off-Topic-Writing, but that's just because a lot of people there are just in WFF and there isn't much of a hang-out in OTW unless you wanted to drop by the NaNoWriMo chatroom there. I’m kind of new as well!
We have a couple things in common, so I’m glad you’re here. :,)
I too am struggling with the stresses of life right now. I realize everyone struggles differently, but it never hurts to let someone know that there’s always gonna be better times around the bend. Never know what someone’s going through... that being said, especially since you’re new here like me, we of course want you to feel welcome so I’m gonna let you know, sincerely and seriously if you need someone to talk to, I’ll always be here to send a message to. I can offer a lot of reassurance, advice, and comfort, because, unfortunately, I am all too familiar with the toll that stress can take on mental health, which is one of the most prominent issues in the world nowadays in my opinion. I dunno, you just never have an idea how much it could mean to someone just to have someone to talk to. Mental illness can make you feel so lonely.
(So I’ll add for anyone else reading this besides the OP, you can come to me as well no matter who you are)
Enough with the TED Talk though! Sorrynotsorry, cause Im here to help if I can and especially if I’ve got to...!
I enjoy D&D as well, and I really like your art! You have got a lot of talent, so creative!
I really do hope you enjoy your time here. Surprisingly, it’s already helped with my own mental health so much, believe it or not. Being part of something can really help with any feelings of being alone/not belonging.
Goodness, I ought to stop typing! Im totally rambling!!! Bottom line, welcome to the site, please please enjoy your time here, you’re gonna make awesome friends!
EDIT: last thing, i promise, but another thing we’ve got in common is being a fan of DBH! Such a good game with so many life lessons to experience. Such a good game to get emotionally involved in.

So far I’ve only played it through fully once and went back for a couple different chapter endings! It is an incredible piece of art, I’m so glad there are people to appreciate and admire its true beauty as a story. I was unfortunately late to the hype, and joined in the interest after it died down quite a bit. But oh, Detroit will never truly die. It made it’s impact on the world and will be remembered forever. No worries about all those stories getting stuck in your head! You can tell me all about them if you want somebody to listen, and hear your awesome ideas.  |
