HornetstripeWhere: In LeafClan camp With: Ashstream ( Brindlebriar) Hornetstripe sighs. "I feel the same way but... I'm not sure. Maybe someone has broken the warrior code?" He responds with a suggestion. "I haven't noticed anyone breaking it, but I think that is something that may make StarClan angry with us. But it could be something else entirely. Whatever it is, it needs to be reversed soon. I think the whole Clan is getting tired of everything going wrong for us." He flicks his tail with a slight annoyance at the idea of StarClan punishing the entire Clan for one cat's actions.
StarlingnoseWhere: In LeafClan camp, exiting the Warriors' den With: open Starlingnose slips out of the Warriors' den, looking around at her surroundings as she wonders what she should do. Maybe I'll be put on patrol? I sure hope so. She thinks as she steps out into the clearing. The young she-cat has created a reputation for being a troublemaker as an apprentice, but now she has been trying to mature and change that perception of her. Her life has been nothing but ups and downs so far, so she hopes to eventually have more ups than downs in her life. However, it has not been looking too great lately.

@reedstar ((Don't worry! The snow is melting fast, so we'll be okay.))
Dark green eyes alight with amusement, Darkfern picked his way through the forest alongside Vixentail; his larger size made it harder for him to be as stealthy as the younger molly, but he did his best to keep up. As he turned to see if her ears were pricked -- a sign of detected prey -- Darkfern noticed Vixentail shiver. "Are you all right?" he inquired in his quiet voice.

Vixentail nodded and gave her shoulder an embarrassed lick. “ I’m fine it’s just the leafbare breeze.” She whispered attempting to keep her voice down. She lifted her muzzle and parted her jaws to drink in any possible scents of prey. Finally she picked up a scent of a mouse. I wonder why there is so much mice today! She thought to herself before looking around and saw the mouse she had scented under a small bush. “look” she flicked her tortoiseshell ears torwards the small creature. “ do you see it?” She asked. Keeping her mew was less than a whisper.

Lilyfire nodded , taking a bite of the squirrel. She seemed to consider something as she chewed . She swallowed them looked at the ground as she asked him. “Want to take a walk with me then? Sunchaser? “ she asked the golden tom

@reedstar Looking in the direction that Vixentail indicated, Darkfern scanned the undergrowth. Frowning, he shook his head. "I don't see anything," he replied. He moved closer to Vixentail and pressed his flank to hers in an attempt to keep the tortoiseshell warm; shivering would alert any nearby mice to their location. --- nimbleSunchaser took a final bite of the squirrel and swiped his tongue over his jaws. When Lilyfire spoke, he turned to face her. "Sure," he meowed brightly. "That sounds great."

“Great!” She purred. “Where would you like to go?” She licked her chest fur a couple times and then got up, pushing the squirrel bones away and digging a hole. She pushed them in then buried them.

Vixentail felt warmth sink through her pelt as darkfern pressed his flank to hers. She narrowed her eyes to the spot she saw the mouse. i s my hunger messing with me? Or am I just a mouse brain? She thought, but when she gazed at it once more she decided to go for it. She crouched and flattened her ears. She fixed her gaze directly on the mouse, wiggled her haunches, And launched herself clumsily torwards the scrawny thing. She tried to hook it in her claws, but she staggered and it slipped away with a squeak “fox dunk!” She hissed angrily. “I’m such a mouse brain” she added scolding her self for missing such an easy catch. nimble"Anywhere you feel like going is fine with me," Sunchaser replied. He stood up and stretched his long legs, his tail quivering as he did so. "Just as long as it's not near water. All these deaths have me scared to go near water." --- @reedstar "Don't take it so hard." Darkfern laid his tailtip sympathetically on Vixentail's shoulder. "No cat wins every battle, and no cat catches every mouse they see." He blinked warmly at Vixentail, hoping to cheer her up. "Come on, maybe we can go where the trees thin out a bit and find some rabbits."

“How about just in the forest here, I can’t imagine we’ll have to go far, I don’t think the hunting patrol has been out today.” She meowed with confidence. She got up, licking her chest fur again. Lilyfire started walking towards the camp entrance, the gray, black and white molly going at a fast pace. The weather was nice enough , not too cold not too hot. She wondered what her daughter Jadepaw was up to. Probably done her training by now. She turned back to Sunchaser . “So how have you been?”

Cobrastorm Warrior Camp w/ Nightstar
Cobrastorm scented the salty air that usually comes before a thunderstorm, he tense slightly as lighting lit the now darken sky and the crack of the thunder that followed right after it. The rain he could handle, getting his thick pelt wet was never a problem for the brown and white tom but the cracking sound of thunder made him feel uncomfortable in a matter and lighting could easily strike a tree but it didn’t seem like a normal thunderstorm was beginning to brew over the forest. Pulling himself closer to Nightstar, Cobrastorm snorted a laugh as Nightstar pointed out their clanmates returning back to camp before the down pour started. “Some cats prefer to have dry paws and pelts rather than wet ones; let’s hope the storm doesn’t cause any huge damages to the forest or harm the camp, we’ll have our paws busy rebuilding the dens.”
Twilightblaze Warrior Training to fish w/ Almondpaw
Twilightblaze pushed forward snagging a fish into her jaws before the herd fish panicked and turned around heading back toward Almondpaw. Twilightblaze watched as her apprentice grabbed a fish before heading back to shore looking around Twilightblaze noticed a fish swim right passed her and she swiped her claws through the water hoping to kill it before it got away but feeling the sting pain of her lungs asking for air and the water was starting to stir up meaning a storm was on its way, Twilightblaze knew it was better to cut her loses and return to the shore. As Twlightblaze resurfaced for fresh air, she pinned her ears back as the sound of thunder overhead, dropping her fish and giving herself a shake. “We caught a fair good amount of fish for the clan, well done. Let’s head back to camp before we get even more wet than we want.” She meowed to Almondpaw.
Russet Rogue Hunting on Leafclan territory-Open
Russet turned his head toward the sky as rumbled of thunder filled the air, the forest would become still and quiet before a storm hit and afterward as most cats would be back in their den to avoid getting themselves wet and prey would also be back in their den to escape the rain. Luckily for Russet, he went hunting early in the morning and had two mice sitting at his paws right before making his way back home near the twoleg clearing. Tasting the air once more, Russet hoping to catch the scent of more prey to being back with him and caught the scent of another mouse but also the scent of other cats, the scent was familiar to cream colored cat he meet before called Sweetberry, if he remember correctly meaning these were more of the cats that call themselves Leafclan. Picking up the mice, Russet padded off into the undergrowth hoping to find the mouse before the clan cats found him.

Ace || Taiyou
>> Ace recalled her account with the Leafclan cat she had nearly a moon ago when she watched them attack the water animal. Confusion still filled her head as to what their motives were, but figured it best to avoid coming in contact with them again. That one cat had been nice enough to let her go with just a simple warning, but she feared that if she were to cross them again, things would be different. She had managed to stay outside the borders, but the hunger in her belly was getting to her. Stalking through the undergrowth of the forest, the loud clap of thunder shook her entire being, making her fur fluff out in defense. Rain was falling, soaking her pelt nearly all the way through, making her look pitiful. She felt pitiful in this moment, crossing into their borders to steal their prey, but she was hungry, and with this weather, she figured she would be the only one out. Sniffing hard, trying to detect the scent of prey over the strong smell of wet dirt and leaves, she stalked forward. Getting lucky, a little bird darted from the tree it was hiding in, swooping down to catch a worm that had surfaced from the mud it was drowning in, Ace focused. She had a half a second to pounce if she was to catch the bird. With her hind end wiggling, she jumped, her body poised and silent. The loner hit the ground with a huff, missing the bird by mere inches. With a quick swipe of her claws, she managed to tear the birds wing, sending it to the ground, an embarrassing kill if anything. The sound of another cat near by caught her off guard. Jumping half mindedly sideways, the orange, tabby-she cat crashed into another cat, his large body and the impact whisking away the breath in her lungs. The little bird stuck to her claw flung off, landing inside a sticker bush. "Mouse dung!" She wheezed, flattening her ears. By the toms scent, he was not Leafclan, but regardless, it was just as dangerous to run into him.

Lightfall / Deputy / Camp / with Nighstar > with with Snowpaw (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥)Lightfall's blue gaze softened in relief, as it became clear that her leader was suffering no adverse effects of losing a life. In fact, she seemed to be recovering, at least from what Lightfall could see. "I will." She promised with an amused glance at the impatient Snowpaw. As she stepped away from her leader, she couldn't help but notice how she twined her tail with Cobrastorm's in the most affectionate way. It came as no surprise, but her eyes twinkled mischievously, regaining a bit of their usual humor. She didn't comment on it, however, and just waved her tail goodbye as she padded back to her apprentice. She let out a soft purr of thanks and took a bite of the mouse, relishing in the flavor as she felt strength returning to her. It was then that she became acutely aware that she hadn't eaten recently either. Snowpaw's suggestion had her shaking her head in amusement. Trust her apprentice, temporary as she was, to find a roundabout way to get her to take some rest. It was clever though, and Lightfall was impressed. "Well, seeing as this rain puts a damper on training..." She mused, looking up at the sky at a second peal of thunder, before looking back down at Snowpaw. "What, did you think I was going to take you out in this?" She added with a purr of amusement. Certainly, she could use a small rest, but there was so much to be done...Then, she saw the solemn look in Snowpaw's gaze, and she admitted defeat. If she wouldn't do it for herself, she would do it for Snowpaw. "Alright Snowpaw, you win. A short nap while you take care of the bedding. But you will wake me when the rain stops and patrols need to go out?" She prompted wryly. Skunkpaw / Apprentice / Forest / with Sweetberry (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥)It didn't assuage her fears, but hearing another cat talk so plainly about what she had been thinking was comforting. Something seemed...wrong. Fragmented. Yet no cat was talking about it. It was refreshing to have a conversation without a cat stumbling over their words because she was an apprentice. Or rather, the apprentice who fought the gator. She sighed softly and looked down into the gully. Life was uncertain. It was hard. There was so much in the world determined to crush them underfoot. Yet, there was good, too. Family. Teachers. Leaders. Cats that other cats could rely on. She surprised even herself when she finally said, "I think we're going to be okay. LeafClan's seen many lifetimes. More than a warrior or an elder, let alone an 'upstart reckless apprentice'. I've grown up on the nursery tales of Owlmask. If we survived something like that, we'll survive this." It was blunt logic, but Skunkpaw hadn't meant it to be any greater. It was just what was on her mind. Sometimes, it seemed as if the incident with the gator, followed by the isolation of her siblings, had aged the young cat far beyond her years. The wind picked up around her, ruffling her black and white fur. "Rain." She mewed simply. She turned her blue gaze to her mentor, head tipped to the side. Sandpaw / Apprentice / Camp Clearing / with Frostpaw (♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥)Frostpaw's grief as she spoke of her sister was so heavy that it felt like thorns buffeting Sandpaw's pelt. He could sense the guilt she carried like fleas in her pelt. And while most cats would shy away from a painful topic, Sandpaw was Sandpaw. Besides, seeing the two sisters, who were once so close, so distant from each other just felt wrong. "You'll never know if you don't talk to her." He replied, curling his tail over his paws. "A week ago, she was lying in the medicine den. Now, she's back in the forest. That's amazing. I don't know if I'd have that in me." It was rare for Sandpaw to admit such a thing, further emphasising his point. "Skunkpaw is strong, Frostpaw. Your sister is one of the strongest apprentices I've seen. Brave enough to take on a gator, and resolute enough to push through after. I'm sure she doesn't blame you in the slightest." He looked through the bustling camp, and saw that just like Skunkpaw, it seemed the Clan as a whole was recovering. "What happened to Skunkpaw wasn't your fault. But what happens after, the decisions you make. Those choices are what matter." He didn't push any farther than that. If she didn't want to talk about it, he wasn't going to badger her. Besides, he didn't want to ruin this newfound friendship...or, whatever it was. Instead, he contented himself with sitting in silence, watching the waking camp.

Nightstar - - [32 Moons][Leader][Molly] Where. - - Leaders Den With - - Cobrastorm - -[ Taiyou ] His words had a chuckle escaping her maw as he leaned closer to her. While her bushy tail fit perfectly with his thick one, the calico molly was small compared to the brown and white warrior. The perfect height to lean right into him and rest her head under his chin. At this moment, she didn't care who watched them or what they would have to say. She had no desire to hide what she felt for the tom, any longer. It would make her a better leader in the end. Every leader she knew, had taken a mate and had kits, both toms and molly's alike.
As the three kits chased each other around the clearing, their chittering and laughter filling the air, raindrops starting to fall around them. Thanks to the canopy of trees around the camp, the rain didn't hit them as hard. Closing her eyes, she lifted her nose to the sky and took in the scents of the coming storm. She could smell the sea from here, as well as warriors that were making their way back to camp. The wind drawing their scents to her. Happiness flittered in her chest at the thought of her clan.
Applenose came to her mind as she watched the molly re-enter the camp with Brindlebriar and Littleripple. All three of them carried a kit towards the nursery. Flicking her ears, she gave a purr. "Look, Cobrastorm. Applenose had her kits. Looks like there are three of them. Oh, how wonderful! I'm sure Flameheart is watching from Starclan, just beaming with pride." Her voice was thick with both joy and sadness. She missed her deputy and friend deeply. As much as she was thankful for Lightfall, it would take her time to get use to the orange and white tom being gone.
Sweetberry-- [42 Moons][Warrior][Molly] Where - - Medicine Cats Den. With - - Skunkpaw. [~Skyblaze~ ] - -
The words that came from her apprentice next, surprised the older cream and white molly. She looked over at the white and black apprentice as they worked their way through the forest. Rain started to splatter through the trees, every now and again, hitting their flanks. Turning to meet Skunkpaw's blue eyes, she flicked her tail gently along the molly's long-furred flank. "I don't mind the rain, if you want to continue on our walk.? If you want to go back to camp, we can." Part of her hoped the apprentice would choose to stay out in the forest. The scent of rain and oak surrounded them, filling her with comfort. Waiting for her to take the lead, the warrior thought about her words once more. A snort came from her as she thought of Owlmask. No one that lived, had actually known the crazy medicine cat. He had simply been a tale that was told through the seasons. "I remember the stories of Owlmask. The famous third medicine cat of Leafclan. Under the second leader, Tinystar. A monster in the disguise of the most needed member of the clan. So many seasons of peace after the darkness he caused. It seems only due time that darkness has hit again. After all, there can't be any light, without darkness."
(I can't wait until we get to rp Owlmask and Hawkkit together. XD) A chuckle escaped Scorchstreak at the young toms question. He liked his curiosity. While they weren't much alike, his apprentice gave him a softness. Made him less of a snippy tom. Calmed him in a way. While his kits had helped slightly with that, having an apprentice made it even better. "Well, most of their kits proabably have learned to swim already. When they are younger and first being taught, the larger twolegs are with them. Most of those ones, are old enough to be in the water alone, so their parents watch them." At this point, rain had started to fall and the grown twolegs were calling to their kits and running to their little makeshift dens.
As they padded towards the Moonlite Sea, the wind blew around them. A familiar scent traveled towards him, coming from the stream. Glancing at his multi-colored apprentice, Scorchstreak nudged the tom slightly. "Hey, why don't you head back to camp. Get out of this rain. I trust you to make it yourself. I have to check on something. " Pausing, he glanced at the young tom, sure he was disappointed. "I promise as soon as the storm passes, you and I will head right back out and you can take me around the territory. We can check on the badger set."
Giving a soft nod to the young tom, the russet somali turned and headed swiftly through the trees. Upon reaching the harmony stream, he held his breath as he spotted the beautiful white molly he had scented in the wind. She was sitting right beside the stream. Worry sparked in the older tom as he pushed into the clearing and slipped up behind her. "Great Starclan, Swansong. Have you lost your mind.? The creature could snatch you up at any moment, get away from there."
Morningdew- - [30 Moons][Warrior][Molly] Location - -In the Warriors Den With - -Waspstrike & Lightningstrike - -[Robinbreeze & Brindlebriar ]
With the words that fell from Waspstrike's maw, rain started to trickle around them. Thankfully, the leaves sheltered them from the rain, mostly. With a heavy sigh, she shook her head and followed after the leader of the patrol. She agreed with the tom on the safety measure, she just hated climbing, always had. "So much for beating the rain. Let's hurry."
At Lightningstrike's words, the white an silver molly opened her maw to scent the air, yet all she could pick up was Scorchstreak and Rainpaw, and the storm around them. Giving a shrug, she worked through the trees until they were near the Twoleg clearing. With a flick of her ears, she worked her way down the tree and slunk around a bush to poke out and see into the clearing. Twolegs were everywhere, running for their monsters and weird green flappy dens. A strong scent of dog traveled towards her and her fur bristled slightly. It seemed the twolegs had brought their dogs with them this season. "They have dogs this year. From the smell, quite a few. We'll have to keep an eye out."
Speckledflame- - [82 Moons][Warrior/Elder][Molly] Where - -Back at camp. With - - Runningfire [ Mothdapple ] As the russet somali plopped down beside her, warmth rushed through the white and orange speckled molly. Her orange eyes flickered with happiness, usually only visible to others when she was around her mate. Losing not only Flameheart, but her sister as well, had put quite the damper on the elderly warrior. Most could see it in her, the lack of wanting to go out and train. The amount of time she spent in her nest or hardly eating. She couldn't help but be hit with grief. Yet, she tried to push past it, knowing so many of her clanmates had lost someone recently. She herself, had lived long enough to know that the life of a warrior, meant a chance of losing your life, every single day.
Turning to meet Runningfire's gaze, she gently touched her pink nose to his brown one. He was such a good warrior and an even better mate and father. Every day, he made sure to ask her about her day and give her silent comfort in her sadness. "We did well. Did a little hunting, and then we did a little battle training. Had her working in the trees. She did a good job of moving among the branches silently and quickly. Managed to take me down. Sadly, the storm moving in, ended our training early." As she spoke, lightning flashed in the sky, only to be followed by a loud crack of thunder. Thankfully, the camp was sheltered pretty well by the tree tops. It usually meant that rain didn't fall into the clearing as easily, and some spots of camp would stay dry. "How was your day.?"
Keeping an ear open and an eye out for the three little kits that scampered around the clearing, Thistletongue decided to make himself useful. Most of the clan was around and out in the clearing, even as rain dripped through the canopy above them. Snatching up a vole from the fresh-kill pile, he had to walk carefully to avoid the kits as they chased each other around the prey. His tail flicked in amusement as he turned and headed for the elders den.
Upon reaching the entrance, the brown tabby entered and slipped up to Brindlewing. "Good afternoon, Brindlewing. I figured you might be hungry and would want an update on things." Setting the vole at her paws, her gave a soft purr. Even with his sharp-tongue and rough nature, the tom was respectful to his elders. "Nightstar is out and about, finally. We were a bit worried she wouldn't make it through the infection and sickness she had. The kits are out and playful as always, I'm surprised they haven't come to bother you. Wounds are healing, and I'm sure we'll be discussing plans to get rid of the gator soon. And Applenose is having her kits, finally!"
Walnutpaw - - [11 Moons][Apprentice][Tom] Location - -Warriors Den With - - Bearswipe. [Fallenleaves ]- - Walnutpaw couldn't help but give a little laugh at his mentors words. Of course he wasn't helpless. Disappointment washed over the brown somali for a minute as Bearswipe mentioned that Pecanpaw insisted he rest. While his brother was young still as a medicine cat, and required many more moons of service, it was as if he was grown. In the last moon alone, his brother seemed more like the main medicine cat of the clan, and not the apprentice. No one dared to defy his decisions and orders. Even with his nervousness, Walnutpaw couldn't help but admit that his brother was gifted, skilled to the core when it came to herbs and healing.
About ready to accept that Bearswipe wouldn't join him, he watched as the brown tabby got to his paws. A little unsteady at his first movements, probably due to having no tail. Once gathering his Barings, the words Walnutpaw wanted to hear, came from his mentors maw. As his hazel eyes trailed over him, Walnutpaw gave a happy nod and pushed out of the den. Just as he hit the clearing, a fat raindrop snuck through the trees and hit his nose. Jumping in surprise, he looked up at the dark sky. "Well, we won't be able to go to far, unless you don't mind the rain."
Almondpaw- - [11 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where - -Training to fish. With - - Twilightblaze. [Taiyou ] Relief filled her little fawn body as Twilightblaze resurfaced. Excitement coursed through her as she saw that her mentor had snagged a fish as well. Now they had a small pile to take back to camp. As Twilightblaze reached the shore, she shook out her fur, splattering the apprentice with water drops. A purr of amusement escaped Almondpaw and she nodded agreement at heading back to camp. A little further out, she spotted Wildmane and Sunflowerpaw racing for the trees. It looked like they weren't the only ones ready to get back home.
As she tucked a fish under her chin, she picked another up with her jaws and worked her way to camp. All around them, the clouds broke loose and rain pounded around them. Flattening her ears, she gave a frustrated growl and scurried forwards, heading for the shelter of the forest. Even though the rain would still get them, it wasn't as hard or as easy for it to get past the leaves.
Disappointment filled her little body at first, not ready to be done training with her mentor. She enjoyed the time they spent together, knowing she only had a moon left until she'd be a warrior. Would the tawny and black molly still want to be around her once she didn't have to be.? She wouldn't expect her to, after all, she was many moons older.
Frostpaw - - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Location - -Apprentices Den. With - - Sandpaw [~Skyblaze~ ]- - As they settled down outside the apprentices den, her sister disappeared out of the camp. Within heartbeats, rain started to fall around them, dappling her black fur with shiny droplets. Blue eyes sparkled in the darkness, listening to the words that the sandy ginger tom spoke to her. He was right, she knew he was right. As much as it killed her to admit it, she knew it was true. Leaning against him, their fur brushed together as they looked around the camp.
For a moment, silence met his words, her thoughts thick on what he had said. After many heartbeats, the yowling and chattering of Brightkit, Rushingkit and Acornkit filled the clearing. She watched as they darted around the clearing, tackling each other. Laughter escaped her maw and she shook her head. "I remember being that little. How our mothers had trouble keeping all of us out of trouble. At one point, there was a den full of kits, just like now." She purred at the thought. "You and Sunflowerpaw, Almondpaw, Walnutpaw and Pecanpaw, Me, Rainpaw, Snowpaw and Skunkpaw. And we were all such a pawful. I remember how cross our parents use to be, especially when we use to try and sneak out. Remember when you were almost an apprentice and we snuck out of camp. We caught that rabbit together. Everyone was so impressed, even though we got in a load of trouble."
Her heart soared at the memory. Even though Sandpaw was a moon older than her, they had always challenged each other. Always caused mischief as a pair. She remembered their parents, always whispering about how they would make a good pair one day. Heat flooded her ear-tips as she realized what her mother said was true. Never could she have believed, that she would develop feelings for the tom. Yet, here she was, closer to him than ever.
Pecanpaw- - [11 Moons][Medicine cat Apprentice][Tom] Where. - - In Leaders Den. With - - Dewdrop [Fallenleaves ] For a moment, Pecanpaw stood rigid, shock dancing in his hazel eyes. A memory of Copperfall and Fennelhawk swarmed his mind, the two toms curled up together as Copperfall was taking his last breaths. He'd admitted to loving the warrior for so long, and Fennelhawk admitted the same. Regret was so deep in both of them, knowing they had spent so much time, hiding their feelings. "Copperfall.." The warriors name simply dropped like stones from his mouth, disbelief thick in his tone. Dewdrop had not been around for that moment, one of the many moments in the clan she had missed lately. She would have no idea that the toms name that she slaughtered with her disgraceful decision, was actually in love with a tom.
"You don't have to tell us who the father is. But don't lie, Dewdrop." Was his mentor so use to hiding things and lying now, that she could just say whatever slipped into her mind.? No. He didn't believe that. She was just terrified, hurting, unsure of what to do. He would be too, knowing how the clan would feel. Taking a breath, the brown somali tom slipped up to his mentor and brushed against her. Touching his nose to her cheek, his eyes grew warmer, his voice gentle and reassuring. "You can trust me, Dewdrop. If it's something you don't want the clan to know, I will keep your secret." He hoped with all his heart, his mentor would decide to be honest with him. Trust him. Depend on him. He'd grown in the last moon. More confident, less timid, smarter. He'd even grown in size, he wasn't a tiny little feline anymore.
(So I really think it would be fun if maybe she confided in Pecanpaw. But didn't tell the rest of the clan who the father was. And Nightstar won't make her. But when the kits are born, maybe one of the warriors recognizes Snake in them, and it clicks with the clan.?) Snowpaw - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where. - - In Camp. With - - Lightfall. [~Skyblaze~ ]
At the teasing tone of her temporary mentor, Snowpaw gave her a playful swat to the shoulder with her tail. Shaking her head, her blue eyes were light with laughter. Even though they'd only been training together for a couple of weeks, Snowpaw had grown very fond of the molly. They'd made a good pair together. While Lightfall had worked endlessly, Snowpaw had been at her side, every pawstep of the way. Every part of her hoped and prayed to Starclan that Nightstar would let the deputy finish her training. Of course, she missed Flameheart. But her and Lightfall fit together better, understood each other more, had the same ambition to fight and give to the clan.
After her deputy finally hesitantly agreed, Snowpaw gave a happy purr. Finishing her mouse up quickly, she got to her paws, licking her maw. Giving a respectful dip of her head, she stopped to touch her nose to Lightfall's ear-tip."I promise I'll wake you when I'm done, or it's stopped storming. Now get some rest." As she spoke, rain started to patter around her. Glancing to the hole in the trees, she saw how dark the clouds were. Thunder rumbled around them, taking up the whole forest. "And get somewhere warm and dry, will ya."
With a flick of her tail, the snow white molly slipped into the warriors den. She would start there first. Clawing up moss, she started gathering all the old moss out of the makeshift nests and roll it into a ball. It would make it easier to get rid of. Once she had a big ball of it, she rolled it out of the den and out towards the forest. She knew a good spot to gather dry moss, even in the rain. It didn't take long for her to reappear, this time with moss under her chin and in her mouth. Slipping back into the warriors den, she did this process multiple times, until she had enough to spread out into the twisted up, makeshift nests of ferns and twigs. The moss was the comfy filling that kept her clanmates warm. Taking her time, she spread the moss evenly over each den, tucking it into the nest to form a perfect and comfy circle.
Sunflowerpaw- - [10 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where - -Fishing. With - - Wildmane. [Fallenleaves ] Upon reaching land, Sunflowerpaw felt relieved to feel the land beneath her paws once more. She'd never truly cared for the water. Even more so as the water became choppy in the wind. It would be easy for a feline to get swept away and never come back. The thought of her tiny legs unable to kick out against the waves, made a shiver run along her spine. How scary it would be, to be trapped out there, to have her lungs fill with water.
Giving a head a quick shake, she forced her attention back to Wildmane, who had joined her. She dipped her head quickly, a purr of thanks coming from her throat at the compliment from her mentor. "I swear I got blessed with hunting skills, while I lack in battle. I wish I was like Sandpaw, he's amazing at everything he does." The compliment to her brother was genuine, but jealousy rang in her soft little voice as she spoke. It wasn't often she was bothered by things, but she truly felt like a disappointment to her clan at her lack of fighting skills. While he would be known as one of the greater warriors, she would always just be a simple warrior.
With a quick sigh, she snatched up her prey and loped after the black molly. Keeping close to her mentors side as fat raindrops started to fall from the sky. As each one hit her already wet flank, she couldn't help but feel relieved that it didn't phase her as it would if she was dry.
Applenose - - [42 Moons][Queen][Molly] Where. - -In Nursery. With - -Littleripple [Brindlebriar ] Barely having time to even take a breath, Applenose was already pushing the second kit out. As it plopped to the ground, the scent of Brindlebriar filled her senses. Glancing back, she watched the two molly's nip the sacks that her kits were in and lick their fur the wrong way. As breath worked their way through their bodies, relief washed over her. They were alive. She watched as Littleripple settled the two kits beside her body and they immediately started to suckle. Surprise ran through the peachy cream queen as another shock of pain hit her. As her flank rippled, Littleripple kneaded her belly and Brindlebriar gave her encouragement. Blinking gratefully to the two molly's, her leafy green eyes sparkled with pain and gratefulness. Around them, rain fell, growing harder with each heartbeat. Pushing the last bundle out, a gasp of relief escaped her as the pain ebbed and the rippling stopped. Turning swiftly, she nipped the sack open and licked her kit until it was meowling. Nudging it closely to her belly, she sniffed each little body beside her. By this time, her flank was wet and clinging to her. Lifting her tail, she covered her three little ones, shielding them from the rain.
"How precious.." She breathed, as she curled tightly around them. An instinctive protectiveness suddenly overwhelmed her and she flattened her ears tightly against her head. Her heart pounding with anxiety as she glanced around them. She wanted nothing more than to return to her nest and keep her kits safe from any danger that could ever come to them. Picking up the smallest one, the only little molly, she nudged the two toms to Littleripple and Brindlebriar before heading back to camp. Her legs shook with exhaustion, but she moved swiftly, an urgency to her steps.
Rushingkit- - [1 Moons][Kit][Molly] Location - -Nursery With - - Family. [z - Brindlebriar ]- - As the larger calico kitten rolled on her, Rushingkit let out a gasp of surprise. Flailing her paws, she tried to grab ahold of her friend before she booked it towards the fresh-kill pile. A soft growl escaped the little blue molly's throat and she scrambled to her paws. Nudging her smaller brother, Rushingkit let out a ferocious yowl, or so she thought. "LET'S GET HER!"
Little paws pattered around the clearing as the kits darted around the pile of prey. Doing her best to catch up to Brightkit, her little tail waved high in the air. After circling the freshkill pile, Rushingkit gave a mighty jump and took out the calicos back legs. "GOT YOU!" As they rolled across the ground together, legs tangled, rain started to fall around them, seeping in through the trees.
