Vixentail let out a small Mrrow. “lucky fur ball” she muttered with a hint of amusement. “Come on let’s continue” she mewed before stalking through the forest, being careful not to step on dead leaves

Acornkit looked longingly at Thistletongue as he played with Brightkit. A pang of jealously hit his heart as he watched him be a father, something this little kit would never get to experience. He was grateful for their warmth and welcoming spirit with the other kits in the clan, and Brindles motherly spirit made him want to curl up against her belly and sleep warmly. Being lost in thought, the body of his brother Rushingkit slamming into him aught him off guard. Little Acornkit hit the ground with a huff, a pitiful growl coming out of him. His brothers paws raked his back side, his playful bites nipping his ears. Acronkits little paws attempted to bat Rushingkit away, but no effort was good enough. Rushingkit was slightly bigger than him, and he could easily pin him down. "You dont play fair!" Acornkit whined, jumping to his paws and bopping Rushingkit on the head with his little paw. >> Brindlebriar smiled and laughed to herself. Palespirits kits were always sweet and playful, she loved having them around. After all, she did help feed half of her litter with her extra milk. At the thought of past events, a twinge of sadness hit her heart. Brightkit had a mother and father, but no siblings to call her own. Palespirit's kits had siblings, but no father. Thinking to herself as she watched Thistletongue play with their one, strong surviving kit, she vowed to take care of Palespirit's kits along side her own. Thistletongue would gladly welcome the kits under his wing to show them the ropes, just as he was with Brightkit. Blinking warmly at her mate as he crouched down to show the little white kit how to properly stalk her prey, a purr rose in her throat.
>> Brightkit watched her father closely. He had many moons of experience on her, and seeing him crouch and stalk without any sound coming from his paws, she envied him. She would be just like him when she grew up. Watching intently, she mimicked his every move. Her tail stuck out straight, her body was mere centimeters from the ground, her eyes were wide, her paws, silent. Lost in deep thought and concentration, she pounced, but not on the rock, on the clan leader, Nightstar. She had emerged from her den, catching the little kit off guard. Jumping back in surprise after her body slammed into the frail body of the leader, Brightkit flattened her body against the ground. "Oh Nightstar, I am so sorry." She whispered, keeping her eyes on the ground. Lightning swallowed his distaste for leaving camp on patrol and lifted his head high. Maybe it was time he put the passing of his mother behind him and started being useful to his clan again. Stepping out of the camp, the smell of rain and dirt filled his senses. It was nice to get out of the camp again, but nothing that heavy paws filled with grief would enjoy immensely. Sniffing the air, he caught scent of Scorchstreak and his apprentice Rainpaw. The two seemed to be close, and possibly headed in the same direction as the little patrol. Catching a glance of the pair through the trees, he heard Scorch offer a piece of advice to the little tomcat. He was letting him choose the way of their own patrol. Jealously hit his heart. He had not been given his own apprentice before, and an odd longing for the feel of being useful and needed gnawed at his heart. "Rain doesn't seem too far out. Maybe we should go quickly." He offered to Waspstrike and Morningdew, forcing himself to be distracted. "The last thing we need is to be caught up in the rain and get ourselves sick." He mumbled. Littleripple felt a tingle of warmth as Applenose mad an effort to be outside camp. Life seemed to spark in the large queens eyes as she felt a little ripple of life within her belly full of kits. If they were all to survive, Applenose would have to take care of herself and try hard. Blinking in the dull light that filled camp, Littleripple sniffed loudly, her flat face looking towards the sky that danced with large dark clouds. "Rain is definitely on its way." She mewed, flicking her tail tip. Looking around camp, it seemed busier than normal. Brindlebriar and Thistletongue were out with Brightkit, Acornkit and Rushingkit, two of Palespirit's kits were with them. Watching as Brightkit played, she saw the little kit bump into their leader. Nightstar had been in her den since she announced the new deputy, and seeing how frail and thin she looked, she could tell she had lost a life. Blinking softly at Nightstar, Littleripple turned her attention back on the chatty queen. "The injured cats are healing, slowly but surely. Nightstar seems to be on the mend, today is also her first time out of her den since the loss of many cats at that battle." She mewed quietly. She was careful not to single out the passing of Flameheart in hopes that Applenose wouldn't lose her spark. "I haven't seen Dewdrop in a while and poor Pecanpaw has been running around like a lost kit trying to help everyone." The older warrior pressed her nose against the swinging belly of the queen, wanting to see if the kits were more active now that Applenose had been walking. Her motion was quick, not wanting to alarm the queen. Rainpaw nodded. He caught scent of a patrol from his clan headed in the same direction as him and Scorchstreak. Thinking ahead, he knew it would be best to avoid the Harmony Stream all together, seeing that the gator animal was still claiming the waters as its own. With a few quick moments in thought, the little apprentice opened his mouth to speak. "I think we should head towards the trees to stay well out of the way of the waters from the gator. I'm sure the patrol heading that way wont mind a few cats tagging along for a few minutes while we cross. There is strength in numbers, right?" Rainpaw was more so talking to himself, trying to convince himself that the choice he was making was correct. What would his mentor choose in this situation. Looking towards the group of cats, Lightningstrike, Morningdew and Waspstrike were all there, and by the looks of it, they were headed into the tress rather than staying on the ground. Cursing inwardly, Rainpaw corrected himself. "We could climb the trees on the edge on the stream and cross that way. That way we dont bother or distract the patrol from what theyre plans are." He mewed, looking up at the trees to see which one would be best to start climbing in.

Cobrastorm Warrior Outside Leaders den w/ Nightstar Cobrastorm felt his chest tighten with joy as Nightstar rubbed against him and he rumbled with a purr before getting to his paws to follow the calico she-cat out the den. This moment had to be one of Cobrastorm's happiest and he wished noting would disturbed it but he knew it wouldn't be fair to the clan to be greedy of Nightstar's attention or to Nightstar herself, just knowing they would be at each other's side as mates would be enough for him now. With the mention of rain, Cobrastorm twitched his whiskers in amusement at Nightstar claim of loving it. "Well, let's be sure you don't stay too long in the rain, we don't want you getting sick again." He meowed as they stepped out the den, his glaze resting on Thistletongue and Brindlebriar playing with Palespirit's kits before noticing their own kit, Brightkit had stumbled her way over to them while playing.
Twilightblaze Warrior Fishing w/ Almondpaw Twilightblaze purred as Almondpaw give her a playful nudge, she enjoyed moments like this with her apprentice as they continue to fish in the sea. After returning to the surface with another fish in her jaws, Twilightblaze looked back at Almondpaw as she returned without a fish and gently rubbed her tail along the soft sandy ground. "How about we work together to catch these fish?" She asked. "We should be able to lead them into each other's jaws with we plan according just like hunting in the forest." Twilightblaze thought a change in their training would allow for new techniques to be explore and they would probably catch fish quicker.

Cinderblaze - Near Farmhouse - Sharppaw Slinking through the flowers and grass, Cinderblaze kept her gaze on the thrush as it pecked noisily at the seeds on the ground. She paused as the breeze rustled the grass, hoping the bird wouldn’t be startled. The ginger she-cat gently released her breath as she continued forward before pausing once more when she was within pouncing range. Checking with way the bird was facing, Cinderblaze aimed just in front of it as she knew it would try to fly away. She bunches her muscles and leapt, flying through the air just as the thrush began to flap its wings in an attempt to escape. Slapping it out of the air, she turned and pinned it beneath her unsheathed claws before nipping into its neck in a killing bite. Silently, she whispered her thanks before picking it up and heading back toward where she had stored her previous kill. The clouds in the sky had begun to crawl toward the forest and Cinderblaze realized they would probably have to cut the challenge short once it started raining. There was no point in hunting in the rain since all the prey will have gone into hiding. As the ginger she-cat buried the thrush next to her vole, she scented the air for more prey scents.
Waspstrike - Forest - Morningdew, Lightningstrike Waspstrike simply nodded as the patrol traveled through the trees, a silent indication that he was taking in their thoughts. Looking up through the branches in the trees, he could tell they were right, though it didn’t bother him much. The trees offered them some shelter, so if they were caught up in the storm, it wouldn’t be horrible. As the three cats neared the stream, the yellow and black tom kept his eyes on the ground to make sure the creature was lurking in the shadows. He had heard that it didn’t usually leave the water, at least from what any warrior could tell, though no one knew for sure whether it could get to them in the trees. Cautiously, Waspstrike padded to the end of his branch and peered over the water. The stream ran lazily along, looking clear of any possible threats. Taking a deep breath, he backed along the branch before running and taking a flying leap into the closest tree across the stream. There, he waited to make sure Lightningstrike and Morningdew made it safely as well.
Sakura - Her den - Shade Sakura set the mouse down on the ground before lying beside him. Looking up towards the leafy tree tops, she sighed. “I slept pretty well actually. I think sleeping in today helped a lot. I feel better than I have in a while, and that’s saying something.” She flexed her claws in the dirt, referring to when they had ambushed that clan patrol. It had been a while ago, which tempted her to visit them again. But she knew that the longer they waited, the better chance they had at surprising them again. “How about you? You seem happy,” she mewed, turning her gaze to Shade.

Bearswipe listened to the other tom with a small frown. Walnutpaw had gone through a lot at such a young age, still it was difficult to hear it aloud. Bearswipe wanted to protect him and though it was irrational, he felt a bit of guilt for never paying him much attention before. All the apprentice’s in fact had gone relatively unnoticed by him as a young warrior. He thought back to his own moons as an apprentice, spent chasing after his sisters and listening more to them than even his own mentor. He hadn’t been disrespectful but... they’d been his whole world. Doeleap being their true binding. Now he felt adrift in a sea of darkness, Walnutpaw being a piece of driftwood tossed his way.
Yet the idea of settling his weight on the young tom, all his sadness and all his fears, it was wrong. Still he couldn’t help but cling, for something..
“You’ve lived through a lot, been an apprentice during dark times. I think it’s only made you stronger Walnutpaw. The clan needs warriors like you, who can keep their head in these trying moons. I’m proud to have trained you... as for my apprenticeship, I was a bit of a goofball. I was lucky, even through me and my sisters felt like outsiders we were fed and taken care of. I can’t imagine how young me would have handled the terrors I’ve experienced these moons.” Bearswipe let his gaze fall from Walnutpaw’s bright, searching eyes. Too ashamed of whatever he was becoming. “I’m sure life will be bright for you though, darkness always passes eventually.” He smiled, more for the apprentice than himself.
———
Wildmane’s paw pads scrapped irritatingly against the sharp, pocked rocks that curved around the shallow cove. Luckily however her black pelt blended well with the stones and as she pulled herself slowly up the side of them the fishes below seemed not to take note.
Only her bright amber eyes stuck out and the occasional flash of her russet undercoat. She crept along the rocks, nearing a cluster of young fish she couldn’t identify.
Once she was near enough Wildmane bunched her muscles and sprang into the water. Her jaws closed round nothing, snapping painfully shut. Snarling as she broke the surface Wildmane turned to watch the fish feel the safety of their cove. Leaving her without any prey.
Wildmane had never been a skilled swimmer nor hunter. Already Swansong’s teasing was surfacing in her mind, the mocking of any of Wildmane’s lackluster skills.
Growling Wildmane smacked a paw down on the waters surface, sending a spray into her eyes. Pain shot through her face as the salt burned, a yowl of frustration and anger echoing across the cove. Half blind Wildmane scrambled fro the rocks and hauled herself out of the water once more. Blinking madly she peered into the distance to spot her apprentice wading back towards her.
Wildmane reminded herself as she watched the younger she-cat the trust she’d been shown by Nightstar. Giving a snappish and rash warrior such a soft and thoughtful apprentice wasn’t lost on her, Sunflowerpaw wasn’t the only one being thought a lesson. Nightstar had entrusted her with patrols as well, despite Swansong’s disapproval. Even if the pointing out of her flaws grated Wildmane could take it only because her leader also showed her appreciation of her virtues.
Taking a breath Wildmane stepped back into the water and wadded towards her apprentice. “Have you made a catch yet?” She asked, keeping her voice even and welcoming.
———
Dewdrop paused where she was fiddling with herbs at the news of Nightstar losing a life. Her eyes stared at nothing, her paws trembling ever so slightly. Snakes face flashed behind her eyes. All this sadness and death, could it really be over something so innocent, so-
Dewdrop stiffened as Pecanpaw spoke again, his voice unsure and slow. Before anything else could come to mind, an excuse or plea, instead Thistletongue and his rage sprang up in place of snake. All the whispering and yowls of hate directed her way. All the looks and auras.
Blindly Dewdrop whirled on Pecanpaw with a hiss, her wavy golden fur standing on end. “You-“ she began to hiss, her claws kneading in the packed earth beneath them. Yet as she looked into her apprentice’s eyes she felt as if the wind had been knocked from her. Even if she could shut him up it wouldn’t be long before others noticed.
Hanging her head Dewdrop let out a soft whimper, tears falling to splash on the torn up earth. What was she to do? Run away with Snake? After all that she’d done, did she even deserve that? What about their kits? She’d seen how changeable Snakes figure had been over the moons, sometimes thin, sometimes healthy. Could he really support her and kits as well?

Nightstar - - [30 Moons][Leader][Molly] Where. - - Leaders Den With - - Cobrastorm - -[Taiyou ] At the words of warning from her mate, the leader simply let out a rusty purr, swiping her cheek against his. Her amber eyes glowed with a warmth that hadn't been seen in many days. Having her paws only just out of her den, the calico molly fully emerged, only to have Brightkit collide straight into her side. With a stumble, she bumped straight into Cobrastorm. Being on the weaker side, she ended up right on her hind end, blinking surprised and wide amber eyes at the kit crouching before her.
After a moment of silence, the little kits apology ringing in her ears, the leader turned warm eyes on Brightkit. Taking her bushy tail from Cobrastorm, she drew the little caliby molly up to her and touched a cold nose to her forehead. "I see you're already learning your hunting skills, Brightkit. If I was a bird, you would have caught me. I had no idea you were there. Your father is a wonderful warrior, I knew he'd start teaching you the moment you could walk."
Sweetberry-- [40Moons][Warrior][Molly] Where - - Medicine Cats Den. With - - Skunkpaw. [~Skyblaze~ ] - -
Sweetberry could almost feel her apprentice's disappointment as she suggested the healing workout, only to dismiss it until Dewdrop and Pecanpaw gave the okay. She watched Skunkpaw struggle along, working out how to move on three legs. Instinctively, she moved closer. Part of her wanted to help, but she forced herself to keep a good enough distance so the apprentice could try it on her own. Yet she stayed close enough that she could lean on her if she grew too tired.
As they worked their way into the forest, she guided Skunkpaw towards the canyons where the clan shared with their ancestors. It was a good distance, a good walk among the trees. And it headed away from the stream, they wouldn't have to cross it or come close to it. The dangers that lurked there often filled the warrior with dread.
A soft sigh escaped the cream and white warrior as a breeze hit her nose. Rain was in the slightly chilly wind. She glanced to an opening in the trees to see dark clouds rolling amongst the sky. At Skunkpaw's question, a startled look flashed in her blue eyes. She turned her gaze to the little molly beside her. "Honestly, No. I've had many apprentices since I've become a warrior. Usually I end up mentoring, more than not. I don't mind. I prefer it this way. Once you are a warrior, I will probably be paired up with another kit soon after." Scorchstreak- - [45 Moons][Warrior][Tom] Where - -Training. With - - Rainpaw [Brindlebriar ] Watching the patrol disappear amongst the branches of the forest, Scorchstreak listened to Rainpaw. Turning gentle eyes on his apprentice, he nodded slightly at his last sentence. "I agree. Steer clear of the patrol. Let them do their thing, but also, listen to what your gut tells you. One day you will be leading patrols, and you must always follow your instincts."
With a gentle flick of his bushy tail, he guided his apprentice to a thick oak tree, just outside the training hollow. It was close to the stream, but far enough away that the gator wouldn't get them. It also was in the opposite direction of the patrol. With a mighty leap, he clawed his way up the bark of the tree, before waiting for his apprentice to follow. He'd let Rainpaw take them the rest of the way.
Morningdew- - [20 Moons][Warrior][Molly] Location - -In the Warriors Den With - -Waspstrike & Lightningstrike - -[Robinbreeze & Brindlebriar ]
Silence followed Lightningstrike's words as the group jumped through the branches of the oaks. Luckily, they'd had much practice with moving among the trees, and with Starclans blessing, the branches all overlapped for the most part. Moving carefully, but swiftly, they worked their way to the stream that flowed through the entire territory.
As Waspstrike jumped across to the next tree, the branches hanging over the stream, the silver molly held her breath. Once he made it across, she let her breath out and backed up slightly. With a flick of her ears, the molly started running along the thick branch, timing her jump. Bunching her muscles, she leapt for the other branch, only to slip as she landed. Digging her claws into the branch, she hung by her front legs, hind legs kicking out above Harmony stream. A gasp of surprise came from the young molly and she stuggled to pull herself up, just imaging the water creature snatching her from below.
Speckledflame- - [80 Moons][Warrior/Elder][Molly] Where - -Hunting in the moorland-between forest and farmhouse. With - - Jadepaw. [nimble ] As her back legs were swatted at, Speckledflame jumped. Her fur spiked down and she let out a light squeak. Turning on her hind legs, that now stung slightly from the small smacks from Jadepaw, she arched her back, now nose to nose with the young warrior. Her eyes narrowed slightly and she flattened her ears. "Now what, Jadepaw.?" She crouched low, bunching her legs underneath her, ready to leap at Jadepaw. She was ready to see her apprentices defensive moves.
Thistletongue - - [55 Moons][Warrior][Tom] Location - -Walking around camp. With - - Brindlebriar & Brightkit. [Brindlebriar ]- - As Brightkit knocked into Nightstar, Thistletongue flattened his ears. He opened his mouth to defend his kit, only to close it once more as the leader addressed Brightkit. When the leader warmly pulled his daughter closer to her and complimented her as well as his skills, he perked his ears right back up. Warm green eyes watched the little group before he turned and nuzzled into Brindlebriar. His heart swelled as he looked at the little Acornkit and Rushingkit. A moment later, he caught sight of Applenose, walking with Littleripple. "Look, Brindle. Applenose is finally out. How wonderful!"
As he leaned into his mate, the thought of new kits in the family crossed his mind. Of course, he knew they'd have to wait until Brightkit had grown some. And if Brindlebriar was up to trying for a bigger family, he'd be all for it. Brightkit would need more siblings, and maybe a bigger little would be blessed upon the pair next time.
Walnutpaw - - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Tom] Location - -Warriors Den With - - Bearswipe. [Fallenleaves ]- - Listening to his mentor speak, his eyes glowed with the praise in his Bearswipes words. He ears flicked slightly at the thought of the young Bearswipe. How different the warrior must be, now that he was older. Yet, Walnutpaw had much respect for the brown tabby tom. He wondered slightly what it was like to not know anything about where you came from or who your family was. All that Bearswipe had of his past, was the three sisters that had come to the clan with him. He'd heard stories of the four kits, found alone and surrounded by fox scent and blood. Most say they were the kits of rogues, who had been killed protecting them from a fox.
Flicking his thoughts away, Walnutpaw finally got to his paws, letting out a sigh. He pressed his nose to Bearswipe's forehead, before speaking. "I should probably do something today. Are you allowed to walk at all.? I can help you. Maybe we can go for a walk.? Get you out of this den."
Almondpaw- - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where - -Training to fish. With - - Twilightblaze. [Taiyou ] Coming back to shore empty pawed, drove Almondpaw mad. She huffed slightly and rubbed her stinging cheeks. "I had that stupid fish, it was just so big, and slapped me so many times." At her mentors words though, her heart warmed with excitement. She hadn't done partner fishing before, or even heard of it. With a happy flick of her tail, the fawn colored somali dove back into the water, kicking her little legs further out from shore. She glanced back at Twilightblaze, before diving under the water. Swimming beneath the surface, she started driving fish closer to the shore.
Frostpaw - - [7 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Location - -Apprentices Den. With - - Sandpaw [~Skyblaze~ ]- - As Sandpaw teased her over her tail, she cuffed him slightly, though kept her paw at his shoulder, instead of his head. After a moment of enjoying his comfort, she felt his nose touch her ear. A sharp warmth of electricity shot from the point where he touched, all the way down her spine. Fur ruffling slightly, she purred and leaned into him. After a moment, she got to her paws and delicately nudged him up onto his paws. "Now this is ridiculous. We can at least go for a walk. Get you out of camp. Get some fresh air. Before you lose your mind in here."
Trotting out of the apprentices den, she ran her tail under his chin, a playful nature to her blue eyes. She give him a rumbling purr before pushing her way out and waiting outside for him. Her heart swelled at the sound of kits playing and the sight of Applenose leaving the nursery for the first time since Flameheart was put to rest. "Look, Sandpaw. Even Applenose has ventured from her den. And Nightstar is coming out with Cobrastorm."
Pecanpaw- - [9 Moons][Medicine cat Apprentice][Tom] Where. - - In Leaders Den. With - - Dewdrop [Fallenleaves ] Pecanpaw had been cautious at approaching his mentor, and with the right thought too. He knew her emotions were probably overwhelming at the moment. Yet, even preparing himself, he was not expecting her anger. When she turned on him, hissing and fur standing on end, the brown somali simply lowered himself to his belly. His ears flattened and his eyes widened slightly. He should have expected this, yet it still startled him.
Though, her moment of anger ended and she withdrew, hanging her head. The whimper that escaped her, filled Pecanpaw's heart with dread and his stomach twisted. What could he do to help her now.? Besides take care of her. She was, after all, his mentor. His clanmate. Yet, he knew that Dewdrop would need to speak with Nightstar. Taking a deep breath, he picked himself up, clearing his gaze and keeping his voice steady. He had to do this, for his clan. It was his responsibility.
"Dewdrop..We need to tell Nightstar. I think we should have a meeting with the leader and deputy. I will be with you. Nightstar won't exile you. You know she would never, especially knowing you are carrying kits." He paused, heart pounding and then slowly reached out and curled his bushy tail over her shoulders. "Who is the father, Dewdrop.? Which warrior.? Do you need help telling them.? I know this is going to be hard, but I promise I will help you."
Snowpaw - [7 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where. - - In Camp. With - - Lightfall. [~Skyblaze~ ]
Giving her newest mentor a gentle touch to the nose with hers. Giving a soft shake of her head, she simply sighed at Lightfall's need to insist that she didn't need to rest. Yet the little white molly kept her opinions to herself, especially as the medicine cat apprentice approached. Pecanpaw had whispered something into the deputy's ear, too low for even the apprentice herself to hear.
As Pecanpaw padded away. Snowpaw gave a dip of her head in acknowledgement to Lightfall's words. "Okay, fine. But..I'm grabbing something for you as well. And you will eat before either of us leaves camp." The snow white molly sounded more like a motherly warrior than an apprentice. She padded away to the freshkill pile. Grabbing a couple of mice, she moved closer to the tree stump where the clan had their meetings and settled down, waiting for Lightfall to join her again.
Sunflowerpaw- - [8 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where - -Fishing. With - - Wildmane. [Fallenleaves ] As she struggled to drag the two fish from the water, she heard Wildmane wading towards her. Her voiced filled her ears, yet it was muffled at the water that plugged them. She picked up the paw that had one fish in it, claws clinging tight into its scaly body. The other clamped in her jaws, preventing her from talking.
Stretching out her paws, she offered the bigger fish to Wildmane, glad to have the help in bringing them to the shore. Her eyes brimmed with excitement at having caught two at once, something she had never done before. She'd only caught a few fish before, most by sitting at the waters edge.
Applenose - - [40 Moons][Queen][Molly] Where. - -In Nursery. With - -Littleripple [Brindlebriar ] As she questioned the senior warrior about her clanmates, the leader herself stepped from her den. She watched carefully as Brightkit ran into the leader, before warming slightly at Nightstar's gentleness to the kit. After a moment, her head snapped to Littleripple, who had leaned in to touch her stomach again. She could clearly feel her kits moving now, stirred by her movements around the camp. Her belly practically brushing the ground as she walked. It would be a blessing from Starclan themselves, if her little ones arrived.
As she walked, the molly turned her head to the sky, dark clouds were rolling in and the wind had picked up. Closing her eyes, she stopped and took in a deep breath. The smell of the sea was being brought towards the clan. "Maybe we need a bit of rain. Wash away the darkness that has fallen over this clan. Help up grow again."
Rushingkit- - [0-6 Moons][Kit][Molly] Location - -Nursery With - - Family. [z - Brindlebriar ]- - Being the largest of her siblings, Rushingkit could easily overpower any of them. She was the strongest of the five, a big litter. Yet, Brightkit, who was the same age as her siblings, was larger and stronger than all of them. She had definitely received her fathers body form. Even not knowing her own father, Rushingkit was sure she had been blessed with her mystery fathers body and looks. Her mother looking nothing like her at all.
Her thoughts were snapped away when a paw smacked the top of her head. Giving a shake, she cleared the buzzing that filled her ears and batted back playfully at Acornkit. "Oh, come on, Acorn. You just weren't expecting it." Her batting quickly subsided as Nightstar and Cobrastorm left the leaders den. Green eyes wide, she crouched down beside her brother and Brindebriar, watching. Brightkit had run into the leader, who looked unlike her normal self. Weak and exhausted, yet a warmth resided in her amber eyes.

Skunkpaw / Apprentice / Forest / with Sweetberry Skunkpaw started out wobbly, as movement became much more awkward without an extra leg to balance on. Every time she moved forward, it felt as if she was about to stumble forward, and she had to resist the urge to throw out the injured paw, which was tucked protectively against her flank, out to catch herself. Eventually, she settled into a lurching but manageable gait where she leaned heavily on her working front paw, then scrabbled her hind legs forward one at a time. She certainly wasn't getting anywhere quickly, but the black and white molly was proud, and she wouldn't accept help.
Sweetberry's answer seemed to satisfy her, and she was glad she wasn't being a burden on her. Skunkpaw was enough of a burden on her own conscience, without being on someone else's. The molly was quiet as she raised a front paw to the breeze, letting the stream of air pass through her claws. Squatting hunched back on her hind legs as she was, she resembled a rabbit. "Do you think the Clan will be okay?" She asked after a pause. She didn't believe it herself, not yet at least. Yet she needed someone else to confirm or deny it.
Sandpaw / Apprentice / Apprentice's Den / with Frostpaw The sandy apprentice groaned at the thought of going out into the camp, with the sights and sounds of bustling activity that he was sure to only drive him crazier that he couldn't participate. Normally, he would have declined, but it was Frostpaw. She had a way of making him do things now. It was uncanny. "Must I?" He responded, half-mutinously, before shaking his head in wry defeat. "Alright, I'm coming, keep your fur on."
He shook his pelt clean of moss and straw, swiping away a burr that had gotten caught on him overnight, before following his denmate out into the camp. He had to admit that the draft, while chilly, definitely did perk him up slightly, though it didn't compare to being out into the forest. "How's Skunkpaw doing?" He commented as he looked around, before fixing his gaze on Frostpaw once more. "You have gone to see her?" He prompted.
Lightfall / Deputy / Camp / with Snowpaw > with Nightstar and Cobrastorm Lightfall couldn't help but feel a swell of appreciation for her apprentice. Sometimes, it was nice to have a cat to look out for you, and keep you from burning out. "Thank you, Snowpaw." She replied with a hint of amused resignation in her meow. Dipping her head to her apprentice, she padded over to where Nightstar now was with Cobrastorm, and the wide-eyed Brightkit. Giving the kit a friendly flick over the ears with her tail, she dipped her head to Cobrastorm in friendly greeting, before turning to Nightstar. "Pecanpaw let me know what happened." She mewed, keeping her tone mild. She didn't need any sign of anxiety spreading around the camp. "If there's anything I can help with, I'm here." She mewed. Exhausted as she was, she was there to help her leader.

Shade licked his chest fur, and replied . “I slept well.” He got up, stretching his back and reaching forward with his paws. He turned to the Shecat . “Moderately happy Id say. Can’t really complain .” He meowed.
Jadepaw rolled onto her back, ready to bunny kick her mentors stomach .
(Sorry they’re so short not feeling well)

Waspstrike - Forest - Morningdew, Lightningstrike Casting a few glances down at the water below them, Waspstrike kept a careful eye out for the water beast as Morningdew made her way across. The yellow and black tom darted across to her branch as she slipped and knelt to grab her scruff between his teeth. He wasn’t sure if he had a tight enough grip, but he pulled back anyway. Waspstrike dug in his claws and pulled the she-cat onto the branch. Then, he releases his grip and took a few steps back to give Morningdew some space. Glancing back at the water before mewing, “Are you alright?” Waspstrike looked her up and down before his gaze darted to Lightningstrike on the other side of the stream.
Sakura - Outside Leafclan territory - Shade Sakura gave a slight chuckle at the tom’s response, taking another bite of the mouse. Her gaze followed the edge of the clearing as she spoke, “When do you suppose we should visit the clan cats again? I feel we have waited quite a while, but I also feel we should wait longer.” She sighed, taking a breath before continuing. “It’s a constant battle in my head,” she mewed with a grin. Sakura took the last bite of the mouse before pushing the bones into the undergrowth. She suddenly wondered where Angel and Crimson had wandered off to. It wasn’t necessarily her business, but it still wandered around in her brain.
